I purchased a new bus, that I am working to convert to an RV for my family. I figured I should have a check done on some systems and a general look at A/C for an upcoming road trip. My friend spoke to Mobicare and asked for a D.O.T inspection, he was quoted $85 on the phone and FIFO service. So up at 7a.m. to make sure we were there early and when I arrived they checked me in shortly after opening. Again reiterating, that I wanted a D.O.T inspection and for them to look at the A/C system, as it was out of Freon and clearly something was wrong. The gentleman at the desk said the D.O.T. inspection would be $135 and a few days to get to it. So begins the absolute worst service I have attempted to get in a great deal of time. After telling them the price we were quoted when we called, they lowered it to $85 and said that it would be $150 p/hr. for remaining work. I agreed, although already irritated that the timeline had changed to 3 days. Nearly a week passes and I finally get a call after following up on my own throughout the week. After two hours worth of work, they said there was no Freon; which I clearly stated when dropping it off. This information came at the cost of $300 and provided no value. When I asked for the status of the D.O.T. inspection and the guy said why do you want one of those? He suggested that I only need a needed a safety inspection. Fine... Safety inspection it is, when can that be done? Will get it done tomorrow, well two additional days tacked on, the bus still had not moved and I went to pick it up.When I arrive (unexpectedly) I was kindly greeted by I didnt know you were coming, you didnt call.When he recited what had been done per the service ticket (only confirming the Freon was out) and questioned about the inspection, I was informed that there were 15 vehicles in front of you!For just over $300 (they did put in a small amount of oil, which was low) and offered no more information then when I dropped it off. Nothing was done at all in a week+; when I was advised by at least two people that it was a day job. What a rip off, and poor customer service, poor everything. Additionally I had asked them to check the brakes and they quoted me 10 hours to pull the tires (thats $1,500 to look). I swiftly declined, and asking more about the a/c system would require 6 hours. They are out of their minds if I will ever bring something to them. Stay away from this place... they are a joke!

Do not use this place, they charged me almost $1,000 to change a battery and a bracket the battery that sat in for my sprinter I talked them down to $850 because even to them A thousand dollars for them doing almost no work at all sounded crazy. Wish I would’ve read the comments before coming here about they’re prices.. my sprinters still broken by the way basically paid $1000 for nothing. DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. TRUST THE REVIEWS.

Mechanics were great but Mobicare of Jacksonville took far more money from my credit card than I agreed to. This was a simple job of repacking wheel bearings on a tandem axel (4 wheels). Two other RV Dealers in the Northeast Florida area quoted me $400 plus or minus a few dollars including bearings & seals, tax out the door. Mobicare said $750, but they could do it now, today. Rather than waiting two or three weeks or a month for an RV Dealer to do it I decided to pay it because I had a trip planned in about week or so. When they were done they said they were cutting me break and reducing the hourly rate. Total bill was $571.56. I’m thinking, great and thank you. Still about $170 more than the going price but I was ok with it because of the turnaround time. The next day they called me and said they failed to charge me for parts to the tune of $264.76. Now we are up to $836.32. This is not right but I wanted to do the right thing and reluctantly agreed to the additional $264.76. When reviewing my credit card activity they charged me the additional $264.76 and took it upon them selfs to charge another additional $180 on top of all the other charges. They said they made a mathematical error and needed more money. Now we are up to $1,016.32 for a service that I thought was going to be $750. I feel like they robbed me of over $266. Just because I may not be a savvy negotiator doesn’t mean you can use your position to take from my household and family.

Dont ever ever ever bring your truck to them. They charged me 3200 to repair ac when i picked it up ac still didnt work. They had my truck for almost 2 weeks and did not fix the ac problem. I had to take my truck to Tom Nehl. Tom Nehl fixed it, but i had to pay more money. Mobilcare is a rip off. Do not take your truck to them. I give them a minus 0

Amazing staff the dispatcher Chris is great to work with when it comes to road side emergencies. Paul is a great manager and can take care of any problem you might have. And the auto and truck shop guys are fantastic. Over all great experience with mobicare. I won’t go anywhere else for all of my services.

Brought my companies diesel in. They repaired it quickly. It was a Friday too. Would recommend this place due to my own experience. It was very positive

Had my RV serviced by this team. Good communication and when we agreed upon the work to be done it was completed same day.

If you have a Diesel, this is the only place in town that does quality work... They work on the fleet trucks and have see/done everything...John up front is an ace..had a motor replaced few years back with no issues..

DO NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS. As the person below me wrote too many times I took a chance using them. Just got ripped off. Last time they sent someone out charged our business $700 and never came back to fix it!!! Horrible. So unprofessional. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Too bad you can’t rate this place a zero. After 3 days of phone calls I show up in my motor home at 7am as recommended by the shop manager to have the ground power transfer switch changed only to be told they don’t do electrical work........

JUNK. That redneck at the front desk is rude and a cheater. Took $1000 and did nothing.He said he would fix a oil leak in my car. But there were so many people there. It took him like 2 weeks and when I started my car and drove it home oil still leaked. Best place ever brought my 06 f250 6.0 diesel in for oil pressure issue and leak in the transmission coolent line they quickly fond and fix the oil pressure issue and the leak in the trans line and now its running better than ever I only got 13mpg befor before and now Im getting 17mpg so needless to say she has never ran better .. Kevin was the best got my ride back on the road

The name of the place is mobicare right? This joker said he doesnt have the diagnostic machine on their truck and I need to tow my car there!!! Are you kidding me? AND said its 95.00 just for him to show up and another 95.00 per hour and NOT including the part. If someone is reading ANY of these negative reviews that out number the positive ones ( probably relatives) and you still decide to use them then my only advice is that the K-Y JELLY is on sale at Walmart. ..be sure to pick some up on the way 😱

I had an absolute horrifying experience with this company. Do not use this company for any reason whatsoever! I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. That would be too cruel!!

I went to this place with my commercial motor vehicle for an annual DOT inspection. This was the first and only time I will ever do business with these incompetent bozos. I am a 20 plus year mechanic and certified by the State of Florida as a level one CVSA inspector. Since I am contracted to a high level carrier I outsource all my DOT inspections to prevent any possible conflicts of interest. By the time these people got done with me they had written up about 10 defects that basically did not exist. And they refused to sign off on the inspection. I just paid them the 75.00 dollars and left. I then took my vehicle to another facility and they conducted the DOT inspection and found not one of the defects these guys listed. I have also had a level one roadside inspection in the State of Idaho and was awarded a CVSA sticker at that time. It is my conclusion these folks couldnt fix a sandwich. If you go to them you can probably expect the same treatment. There is a special place in hell for dishonest mechanics.

Had one of their mobile mechanics come out and replace the alternator on a 2004 Isuzu Box truck. Two days later their was a huge puddle underneath the vehicle that was coming from an oil line 1 inch away from the alternator. Called Mobicare back out and it turns out they removed the line to install the new alternator and damaged it when putting it back together. Initially, one of their dispatchers was telling me that it had nothing to do with the alternator and it was pure coincidence, yeah right :)After a little back and forth with this not so helpful dispatcher, I talked to one of their service managers, I believe his name was Paul, and he really took care of us. He had his mechanic replace the hose for little to no charge and the truck is now running great! Thanks Mobicare and thank you Paul!

Came in off of I 95 with a flat tire. The folks at mobicare realized the urgency of the situation and took us right in and helped us get back on the road. They even gave my dog some water as we waited. That is what I call service! Thanks mobicare.

They know about as much on turning a wrench as Dr Dre knows on triginometry. Left tools in my unit they worked on and caused more damage than to begin with.

Had this shop do over 4k in work on my diesel coach. The main thing being the generator. They did a full check of the generator and replaced a hose in it and said it was good to go. I got back from deployment and the generator wont run consistent or with load. Open the side panels and there are pieces of plastic, not rotted but broken off inside the generator. Would not recommend this shop. (Update) true story the mechanic left a pair of pliars in the generator causing multiple breaks in fans and air bushings. 1k in repairs

L own lukes apartment movers l have 2000 gmc wt5500 moving truck last week l have check engine light on and lost a power l drive truck to mobicare to find a problem and they say we will do diagnostic to find a problem and take about 1 or no more than two hours l say okey hour letter they call me they need a 3 or 4 hours more (85.00 hour) and l call another repair shop they say flat fee for diagnostic for 80.00 and l call this company dont do any diagnostic l came get my truck they say $85.00 l owe l say ok l go pick up my truck truck is not start l call towing company to tow my truck to other repair shop cost me $175.00 to tow and two hours later repair guy call me he say first repair guy emty gas line that why truck is not running and l call first shop and they say we not emty your gas line l know they did because they think truck not running l say ok you fix the truck and they make a lot of money

They over charge and add extra parts and fees. I dont recommend this place. Owner is a real jerk

Called for service on my rv tech didnt know what he was doing took over 2 hours taking the landing gear up and down kept calling someone for ideas never addressed the length difference in the legs .I finally told him I would get it fixed when I got home.just to get rif of him and the overpriced rates they charge
