They get the work done in a reasonable amount of time. Know that they do not accept appointments, so its best to drop off the vehicle and wait for them to call. Theyve never let me down and have never charged me for things I didnt need. Theyre trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly. I definitely recommend RPM.

Been going to RPM for years. Rick and his staff are the best. I have taken five of my cars to RPM. Some were to run Diagnostics before purchasing and all for routine maintenance and other repairs. Never had they suggested something that did not need to be corrected. I have two vehicles that are needing oil changes soon that I will be taking them to RPM. Thanks RPM!

It’s been 5 months since I’ve had my car “serviced” at this location and it still isn’t fixed! The customer service from Lonnie was piss poor. It was so bad to the point where I chose to go to another location to avoid him. I went to another location to test and get them to figure out what was wrong with my car and after multiple thermostat replacements, weeks of my car being in the shop, and over 1k ... it still has the same exact issue it had in July. Save your time and go to the dealership! If you go to RPM, avoid this location and go to Ortega! Tim are Ortega is excellent! As a business owner, I understand the importance of customer service and Lonnie DOES NOT have it!

Lon provided an excellent, super-fast repair. This is honestly the best experience Ive ever had from a car repair. They did a battery exchange and made sure any corrosion on the clamps were removed, they looked brand new. Their facility is one of the nicest in appearance; it rivals any of the dealerships. Ill be back!

In my honest opinion I would rate this company with a 0. Reason being I dropped my car at 7:30 in the morning the representative that I spoke with stated it would take a few hours, which I was totally fine with. 5 hours later a rep calls and states that the total amount was well over $300+ when I clearly stated to the rep when dropping the car off that the vehicle is under warranty. I gave all the necessary information needed and specified things that needs to be fixed. After with speaking to my significant other. The representative Blatantly lied and said I did not tell him the vehicle was under warranty. I called back again and now the same rep stated now the price is $120 for the diagnostic test. This is not how you run a productive business and this would be a reason why you guys would lose good customers, because one of your representative gave the wrong information over the phone the day before dropping the car off. Two the rep blatantly lied to the customer. I guess being as though a female brought in a car you can tell her just anything because most females are not educated and equipped with cars. Well I’m sorry to say I’m that person. To run a lucrative business all employees should be on one accord and should not give the customers the run around. A whole day has been wasted and nothing has been done.

They fixed my car 3 times and still gave my car back to me in the same condition all 3 times and tried to give it to me in a worse condition the 3rd time. They tried to put a part on my car without diagnosis but wanna tell me they couldnt find the problem after all that. Who wants to go through this? If you do, than go to them, they not touching my car again. Unhappy customer!

Never got any service. Waited about 45 mins for someone to do a road test on my vehicle then left. I called the day before arriving and was told its first come first served and they open at 7 am. I was the first one there and after almost an hour later, first one out. They greeted me well upon entering.

Why can’t 0 stars be an option? Took my Chrysler there to have a wiring issue check. Dropped my car off at 8am on Thursday. I called around 5:30pm to get an update no progress made in chasing the wire down to find the short. Next day again not one phone call the entire day. I call at 6:00pm to get an update, Rick told me “it doesn’t look like anything else was done to the car. Can we get back with you on Monday because they are closed on the weekend” I politely declined and told him I was coming to pick up my car. He had my car 2 days and couldn’t call me once with an update. When I arrived they had my car already cranked with the door to my car open. They were all standing in the office with the door locked because they were ready to go home for the weekend. I took my car across the street to the dealership. I will never return to this place or refer anyone there.

I was visiting my mom in Jacksonville and noticed the air pressure light on in my rental car. I was nervous because I needed to drive back to Virginia Beach the next day. I took my car up to the nearest Hertz and luckily, RPM is right next door. They were able to check the tire, patch it, and get me back on the road quickly. Their customer service was great. Dropped the truck off in the morning they told me was going to be a few hours, I didn’t mind waiting, I am retired. Not only did they fix the air conditioner but they alsoFound another problem that was under warranty, ordered the part and fix that as well. This was one of the best auto repair experiences Ive had in a while. After leaving another auto repair shop that told me it would be a 2+ hour wait for a basic oil change, I drove down to RPM since they were right down the road. The service staff was very helpful and answered my questions about future maintenance. My oil change was quick and I was able to be assisted right away. Very clean waiting room and I even got a free bottle of water. Thank you and I will be back in the future for my next scheduled maintenance!

After years of getting the cars oil changed at discount places to save a few bucks and having my dads friend take a look at it whenever it made an awful sound, Im happy to say that my husband and I have hit full-blown adulthood and have found our go-to mechanics. Lon and his team are always very fair and honest with us about what we should do with our vehicles. He gave us his honest opinion and helped us make the tough decision of replacing my husbands mini after we were paying hundreds of dollars to have it repaired every few months. The lobby here is very clean and quiet and is great for getting a little work done on your phone while the car gets serviced. As a female, I feel safe here. I know I can bring our cars in without my husband and never feel taken advantage of because of my lack of car knowledge.

Went to get an AC compressor replaced and dealership quoted me an outrageous price to get it replaced. So I took it to RPM per a family suggestion and they saved me $500. It was still an expensive fix but still it was nice to save that money.

I have a 2010 Dodge Charger that was acting possessed with the dash lights going crazy. I had a “shade tree mechanic” who 1st attempted to work on Sterlin (my car) recommending I get a new alternator. AutoZone initially did a check telling me the battery and alternator seemed fine. Against my better judgment, I listened to the “shade tree”. Of course Sterlin was still acting a fool. A smart man referred me to RPM Automotive on Blanding Blvd and I’m thankful for it. Sterlin has been running like a champ again. The integrity there seems impeccable. I wish I had known of them before I wasted cash repairing something that wasn’t broken. Yet another time RPM could have overcharged me, but did not. The first time I went to RPM was in River City Marketplace, thought my alternator was dead. After inspection they said my battery was not dead, but dying. Replaced the battery and I was on my way. This last week I thought my U-Joint was going or gone, took my truck to RPM on Blanding Blvd. They looked it over and found the front wheel bearings were shot, not my U-joint. They had the work done by close of business and my truck is back on the road. Two times I diagnosed wrong and took it to them to fix, and neither time did they replace the parts I thought were bad AND then what was actually wrong. They had a prime opportunity to take me for my alternator and u-joint, but did not. Really appreciate their work and honesty. Thanks RPM

I been a longtime customer since they opened and received very good service at the Blanding shop. My only complaint is they recently stopped installing customer supplied parts. This has turned me off to them.The kicker is they have a 150% mark up on the the parts price vs. most parts store. So they are doing a very good job of severely overcharging for parts. My example was at $60 EGR valve (OEM)and a $ 40 EGR (OEM) solenoid ( total $100) from any parts store is being up charged to $255. The labor for the repair is $157.00 which is very fair. Essentially they are a high cost parts seller more than a repair shop.I continue to recommend them only if you buy the parts from them and you understand that they have a high 150% mark up on the parts. I am looking for a new shop, any recommendations? My car is 20 years old so parts can be hard to find and I had the parts but they refused service to install them per their new policy. I guess they have plenty of business and people who are happy being seriously up charged on the repair parts. I going to look for someone a bit more reasonable.

I picked up my truck today after the repairs were completed only to drive about 1/2 mile before my truck overheated, fortunately I was able to coast into a parking lot and not be broke down in the middle of the street.After my truck cooled down I removed my radiator cap to find my radiator bone dry,after buying a 1 gallon jug of antifreeze I added 3/4 of the jug before my radiator filled up.Nothing worse than spending $600 on a repair just to breakdown and then spend another $20 to get home.Hoepfully there’s no permanent damage to my engine,needless to say I’m very unhappy with the service I received this was my first and last visit with the RPM Automotive on blanding and I won’t be back.

Did not find do a thorough job finding the issue of why car wouldnt start every time. Asked if fuel pump n spark plugs were checked. They were not. Took to another mechanic and problem was fixed and car is starting everytime. Fuel pump changed and spark plugs etc. Never going back to rpm. Waste of my money. I was told by rpm they will need my car for several days to recreate scenarios of starting issue. Waste if time. Another mechanic took one day to fix problems.

Took my VW Jetta in for an a/c intermittently working after a previous mechanic diagnosed it as an electrical problem. That mechanic does not work on electrical issues. RPM diagnosed it as an electrical problem on the compressor and suggested a new compressor. The diagnosis was $120. I told RPM that the compressor was still under warranty and I would take it back to the mechanic that did it. That mechanic suggested I take it to an electrical specialist because he absolutely knew it was not a bad compressor. I ended up taking it to Viking Auto and Electrical and they diagnosed it as a faulty control head and it is now working properly. I called Lon at RPM and told him about the misdiagnosis. Instead of being arrogant and condescending he was professional and apollegenic. We worked out a solution and I am pleased with the outcome. Very few auto repair shops would do that. RPM saved a customer.

Im shocked at how I was treated. From the time I went in for information I never got the feeling like I shouldve came there. I went in because my car was veering off to right and bad. I had the steering wheel literally turned all the way to the left to make the car drive forward. I took the car to rpm because I heard good things about their work and employees being top notch but I didnt experience any of that. I went on Friday to drop the key off and let them know whats going on and also that my rack and pinion seems to be busted and also do they put in headlights because I had a replacement light I wanted to put in. I was told that he didnt really know about the headlight, just leave it in the car. I get a call on Wednesday saying that they left me a voicemail and did I get it (which I have no voicemail) or missed call for that matter. I told them no and whats going on with the car? They tell me that my tires are going bad and need replaced, I said really? Thats it? Surely not the way its driving. He said yes it will also help with the rough drive. I said ok, I guess ill get new tires. So I go and get the car and they tell me the same thing inside, its just the tires he say. So I ask do they do tires, he said no because they dont keep them in stock, as I look at the sign on the wall that says they do tires. So I say ok just let me pay for whatever I owe. They surprisingly didnt charge me. Sobi said thanks and left, car still driving the same. I drive to 103rd to get new tires and alignment spending almost $200. I wait on my car and they tell me that my rack and pinion is shot and needs to be replaced asap. They said they have to do some serious zeroing it out to get it aligned but they would try their best so now Im thinking, isnt this the part that I told RPM, the people,who are supposed to know everything about cars or and idea of everything, what was wrong with my car?! I believe I was racially profiled, but why? I was in my work uniform! I was very mannerable. I was raised knowing right from wrong. Why didnt they have the decency to inform me that I was putting my life, my wifes life, my kids life in jeopardy by driving this car with a rack and pinion as damaged as it is. Shows to me that they dont care about people, just money.

I *Do not* write reviews often but due to my situation, I have to leave a 5 star review for this shop. I came from my dealership across the street at Acura and they were trying to charge me $560 for a motor mount since I suspected the noise would be because of so. Before I nearly paid for the service, my spouse referred me to come here and they charged me for the same part and their price was $219! I felt absolutely insulted that my dealer was going to rip me off like that... But Im glad I found this shop. What would have costed 3 hours of labor for $560 at my dealer turned into 30 minutes and $219. I cant thank these guys enough, I trust this business with my car, that is saying a lot.

They fixed our truck last year and havent had any problems until recently. What we thought was a bad compressor was actually a bad pulley. It took longer than i was told for repairs both times i have been in.Their prices are a little higher compared to other places,but they are honest,nice and the place is clean. I wouldnt recommend using the rental car place next door though. Got stuck in a hatchback that smelled like a carton of cigarettes and a gallon of fabuloso.

Ive been taking my wifes car (2005 Nissan Maxima SL) to RPM Automotive for the past 3 years for services. And Ive always been pleased with their professionalism and attention to detail. The consultants would always give clear and concise recommendations for the required repairs. But this week when I took the Maxima in for service (TCS OFF/SLIP light came on, also while putting the car in drive or park, the car would jerk violently). After being diagnosed, The Crank Cam Sensors were the cause for the TCS OFF/SLIP warning light and a failing transmission was the reason for jerking issue. (Something that after doing research online, 2004-2005 Nissan Maximas had many issues with). The consultant got a couple of quotes for a new transmission, so my expectation was to be paying $4,300.00 for all of the work required. I got a call back from the consultant today stating that the repairs would only come to $569.00!!! They were able to rectify the jerking issue without having to replace the transmission. This was proof to me that they truly operate by their motto Car Care with Integrity, because they could have easily replaced an operable transmission or even yet stated it was replaced and charged me the $4,300.00. I will refer everyone that I know or come in contact with to RPM Automotive on Blanding Blvd. Thanks for the awesome work and honesty!

Terrible customer service with Lon. Nothing but excuses and passing the blame onto anyone he can, the dealer, warranty company. Manufacturer etc. acts like he is doing you a favor when they screwed something up on your vehicle. I had to push back jobs for four days because I couldnt tow without my truck. When I picked up the vehicle tire went flat. No offer to even get me a rental. Dismissed me outright and said Its only another day then calls me and says it will be another week, doesnt offer a rental still, and expects me to offer him a concession by getting a different tire. Ridiculous. Poor customer service.
