I bought a 2018 Malibu Premier from Sanders Jacksonville two weeks ago. So far Ive had absolutely zero issues with the vehicle. My experience with the dealership itself was wonderful, my salesman George was very friendly, did not pressure me and allowed me to explore the vehicle and check out everything it had. The actual signing process was very quick because I had my own financing and I was in and out of the dealer within 2 hours. I highly recommend checking out the vehicles this dealer has if they have one you are interested in. I will be cross-shopping their inventory again the next time I purchase a vehicle and will recommend my friends and family to them.
I have had nothing but a great experience here!! From when I had to buy my car unexpectedly after losing my other car to Hurricane Florence to having my car maintained here since. Brennan White was who I used when I bought my car and I felt I got a great deal, in fact I feel that I love my car much more than I expected to. Service has been great to deal with as well, they get me in there quick for maintenance and normally my car isnt there too long. Plus I love their shuttle service, it really helps with my schedule.

My 2018 Ford Focus randomly stopped driving the other night while I was headed home from Wilmington, it had to be towed by Smiths Towing (Dan was very kind as well!). In the morning I got a call from Richard letting me know what they were doing and what they are trying to figure out! Finally they were able to diagnose it and Richard has been working for two or three days to convince Ford to cover it as my car is relatively new. He is amazing and managed to get it covered which is a blessing!! I can’t thank him enough!!
Recently moved to NC and wanting a Ford dealership to continue maintaining my 2019 Ford Ranger I found Sanders Ford. I called and asked if I needed an appointment for 15,000 mile scheduled maintenance. The person asked if Id be dropping off or waiting and I let him know that Id be waiting. Following that, an appointment was scheduled for 11A on a Thursday. I arrived at 5 past and checked in. At 11:50 I noticed my vehicle still in the parking space that I left it in and went in to ask if I could get an estimate regarding how much longer it may be. I was on an extended lunch break but needed to return at a reasonable time. The person I was speaking with went to check, returned and apologized for not entering the work order/ticket. I appreciated the apology but had to leave. Lesson learned...you may want to verify that a work order/ticket is entered into their system if you are waiting.Update. Changed from 2 stars to 5. Sanders Ford contacted me and following our conversation, I returned for my 15,000 mile maintenance (which was an oil change and tire rotation). They even provided a loaner vehicle to me for the day. Thats clearly above and beyond for an oil change and I wanted to call out because it highlights how seriously they regard customer feedback and make customer satisfaction a priority. I will be a long-term customer of Sanders Ford and continue to return for all of my Rangers maintenance and repairs.This was all addressed a month ago but Im just now updating my review. I dont want to give the impression that it took that long.
Dont go if you have stock tint from a dealer. Ive had the same Toyota Yaris for 3 years had it inspected many a times at other places and they said their tool they used for examination said my tint was too dark. Even though a Rubicon next to me in the parking lot had darker tint. Hahaha. Wont be going back ever. Dont go there. Theres plenty of repair shops around.

This service center is WAY WAY WAY overwhelmed. It took 3 days to get what I needed done because they didnt have the parts and the mechanics were so far behind. I needed to use the shuttle service and I waited 2 hours and finally begged someone else for a ride. The employees themselves are very nice and try their best. THESE PEOPLE NEED HELP....... PLEASE HIRE MORE PEOPLE FOR YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND STOCK MORE PARTS.........

He was very knowledgeable on the features of the truck, and quickly helped us set everything up through the app and got our phones all linked up to the truck before we left the dealership. The repairs fixed the issues. The repairs were done in a timely manner. The diagnostics were performed after I scheduled an appointment. However, the appointment was for 9, and the diagnostics wasn’t done until late afternoon.My biggest concern is that that my name is not Robert, but that’s how the emails are sent to me even though I have told them on numerous occasions my name.
This review is for the Service Department. Scheduled an appt for Saturday 10/23 for two recalls and one repair of the windshield seal. Before this appt was scheduled we had to wait for the recall parts to arrive, understandable.I went in person to schedule the appt and it was made clear to the woman that this was for the recall AND the other maintenance repair. She confirmed the appt for recalls and windshield seal.When we arrived to our appt on 10/23 we’re told they don’t do repairs on Saturday’s only recalls. We scheduled this appt specifically for all repairs to be done in one shot, but then we’re told we needed to reschedule for a weekday.Reluctantly, we scheduled it. Fast forward to today the day of appt, we call to confirm and they said they’re not sure if the parts are in and might not be able to provide the service today then they transferred us to a voicemail. The appt was cancelled because they weren’t able to provide a transparent answer if the parts were actually in stock.
Very professional staff starting with Sales expert Randy! From the start, Randy makes you feel comfortable while sharing knowledge about selected vehicles. The dealership appears to be spot on with all related processes involving the sale of vehicles. This is your typical dealership where they play games with your finances. Spoke to someone about a vehicle, she assured me it was available and I could get it that day. I filled out a form to run my credit. As soon as it was ran, they informed me the vehicle was actually sold yesterday, but of course, they had plenty of vehicles twice the price. I informed them that was out of my budget and they tried to convince me I could afford it with the right payments. I ended up going somewhere else to get a car. Then the next week, they called me to tell me that the original vehicle that I wanted was suddenly available.

Many times when you have an appointment for repairs, the repairs dont actually start until well after the time you think they should. The staff got me in and out in a quickly and in a friendly manner, and I think that is all you can ask out of someone doing repairs.
The only problem that I have, is that my truck went in for a fuel service, oil change / the works, and front brakes.When I picked up my truck the additives that was in my fuel caused my truck to stall a couple of times, had to pull over and let the truck catch up with itself. Runs great now put some high test gas helped clean it up and out. I hope that this was helpful.
I brought my vehicle in initially for a horn repair and what I believed to be a transmission issue. Jake was my service advisor and I’m definitely glad he was. The vehicle was looked at and I received a phone call the next day on the result of the inspection. Up front they had informed me that because it was two separate issues in very different areas of the vehicle that there was the possibility of being two inspection charges, which I was okay with. When they called they had told me they had done everything in their power to find the transmission issue but could not find anything. However, Jake was kind enough to remove the charge since they could not find anything, which I was super grateful for. They then finally replaced the horn assembly quickly, however a wire was blown after they had tested it which caused a delay, but they were quick in relaying the information to me. It was going on a couple days now (understandable because they had to check the individual wiring) and Jake jumped through multiple hoops in order to get me a rental vehicle because I needed one for work desperately. At the end I was expecting to pay more due to the secondary issues, however the price of the repair stayed exactly the same, and no transmission check was charged to me. Jake was extremely helpful and that man definitely needs a raise for his hard work and great attitude even when I had multiple questions.
Excellent experience. Jesse Leyble was efficient, courteous and never wasted our time. Great price on our purchase and excellent trade in value. I had done my research and knew the value of my trades. No need to haggle when the deal is done right. One of my best car experiences.

I was satisfied with my salesmen, and my car as well. the car was completely covered in pollen so it was hard to see anything on it. but i went ahead and signed, and after they detailed it and coming home, we realized a dent on the driver side, and where it had been worked on. they gave me less for my car because they said the same was done to my car. Im the type that has to get it fixed, so its gonna cost me more than I want and shouldnt have to pay. after removing the Sanders Ford sticker on the back, we realized there were multiple chip places (obviously seen before putting the sticker on there). I guess thats what you get with a used car, but other than that Im tickled with my car.
They did a great job and Jeff was very helpful and kept me update, also did the full services under a hour. I would give them a 10

I recently bought a pre owned F150 from Sanders Ford. I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the whole team at Sanders. I spoke to George L. and he worked with me and went above and beyond to make the experience great.Ive been scouring all of ENC to try and find a 4wd truck under $15k with under 150k miles and had been struggling. I came across a new listing here at Sanders and made contact to come in and look first thing in the morning. Upon arrival I was welcomed by George who took me to the truck as we went through everything from headlights to tail gates. He was knowledgeable on the ins and out of that particular truck even with it only being on the lot for one night. I completed my purchase with ease and everything was very streamlined.Sanders took the time to detail the truck thoroughly and apply a sealant over the exterior, they even provided me with a rental while they did this and dropped the truck off at my home.All in all I would give 6 stars if I could. She took it to Sanders service department because it requires special equipment. They didnt feel this was the issue and did a diagnostic check. They found other issues and charged $1,548. When her car was still running rough, she took it back and they told her it would be another $1,800 to fix the WATER PUMP!! We are a Ford family with an F-250, Flex & Escape, etc...Sanders will never get my business again!

BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO GET A DIAGNOSIS THEY TOLD ME TO JUNK MY VEHICLE. I never spoke to them rudely about it, I wasnt in a rush. I saw the 4.7 stars review and i was like I have to bring my vehicle here! I brought the vehicle at 8 am went back at 12 pm and they still havent checked it. I was like ok Ill wait a bit longer. Took them till the end of the day to get a complete diagnostic. I read the diagnostic and I was like oh well guess ill go to another dealership and I wasnt mad. Then I decided to take it to dodge in jacksonville showed them the paper they told me that it was very unprofessional, got to work with the car, and they decided to give a call to sanders Ford. Then a service manager decided to give me an apology right after his boss heard about it and offered me another diagnostic then I told them ill just take my diagnostic they gave me. Who knows how many other people they told this to, honestly I wouldve given up on the vehicle if it wouldnt be for my knowledge on working with cars. I wouldnt recommend bringing your vehicle here but it aint my decision its yours. Dont get tricked with the 4.7 stars reviews.
Very poor customer service!!! Always have trouble confirming appointment that we scheduled. Always have trouble receiving a rental car. We bought a new Ford Focus and it has been to sanders Ford 5 times for clutches to be put in our automatic transmission car, that they sold us saying it is an automatic transmission. They are never willing to help and always have to contact mangers or talk to district mangers to solve problems they create. And now when an issue comes up it is alway COVID’s fault!!! I was a Ford person my whole life but due to my experience with ford, I will buy anything else but a Ford.Great job sanders Ford!!!!

What a great buying experience Sanders Ford provides. I have purchased many, many vehicles over the years and across this great land, having good and not so good experiences. More often than not, the car industry is full of horror stories, buyers remorse, broken hearts and the expectation of a handshake accompanied by a knife in the back. New and used car dealers are of course in business to make money, and as much as possible. Arent we all though? Businesses can make money and take care of customers at the same time, and thats what Sanders Ford does. Car buying can be a nerve racking experience and I truly believe that the Sanders team took excellent care of me and their company. I got a great deal on my 2021 Expedition and Sanders Ford earned a repeat customer. Special honorable mention to Ethan Dobson in sales, Brandon Lattimore in finance and Sales Manager Darren Bailey. I was a loyal customer purchased a few trucks from this dealership. I had an issue with financing and was kept told it would be fixed and it would only take 2 weeks. Here we are 3 months later and it’s still not fixed. Spoke to the GM Ray and he said I can’t do anything why don’t you go to your bank and refinance I said this is your dealership error and you need to be the ones that fix it, then he told me to go talk to his employees/ sales man/ finance guy, I was mind blown at his response he’s the boss and asking me to talk to his employees lol poor leadership.

We brought our car for service and we had a great experience. Everyone is friendly and they have excellent customer service. Jake Bailey was our tech and he updated us on our vehicle and kept us informed on everything that was going on. I will bring my vehicle here from now on. I highly recommend.
Buying a car or truck can, and often is, a real aggravation. There are so many unscrupulous dealers and salesman out there that it can be a tricky process to try to not get taken advantage of. Believe me, I have been on the bad end of a deal once or twice. I am very pleased that my most recent truck purchase was quite the opposite experience. I simply found what I wanted and they gave me a price. The price was very good without the need for negotiating and I purchased the truck. It really was that simple. Sanders Ford has been operating in Jacksonville for a very long time for a reason. They take care of their customers and I am glad to be one of them. So if you are thinking about purchasing a new car or truck, there is no better brand than Ford and there is no better dealer than Sanders! Go see Kyle Reinhardt and get yourself a deal. Quite possibly the worst service department I’ve ever dealt with. Grossly underestimated cost and timing. Service writer Jeff doesn’t return phone calls or follow through with updates or status. Tried contacting the service manager and he seems to care even less.Unsure of the ability of the repair staff but having these two as the face of your department is not a good look.
Man! Jake in the Service department take care of me very professionally. Made me feel like a family member here at Sanders. Also I was interested in taking a look at a vehicle for my wife, a new explore. Zachary Reinhard helped me out. He had a answer for every question and also was extremely professional as well. I was having some issues with my vehicle not wanting to start. I called Sanders Ford and they got me in that day. Jeff D was my Service Advisor and he bent over backwards to make my experience at Sanders Ford the best. The whole staff appeared to be very knowledgeable and willing to help each customer with the same motivation as Jeff did with me. As long as I receive that kind of service, Jeff and Sanders Ford has a customer for life. Excellent job!!!!!
I took a chance and bought a F350 from sanders. No issue but now that Im trying to buy another vehicle and they are low balling my trade in. This is what I get for supporting a buisness in a military town. They tried to low ball me when I was active duty now as a veteran they are doing it again.. I knew I would see the companies true colors again. I thought they changed. I was wrong. If you want to buy a ford leave Jacksonville.

Bought a new 2021 F150 from them,Lariat 5.0To start, don’t buy anything or trust anything Justin Morison has to say, he’s a terrible sales person and will lie to you to get a sale. He will lie about what your buying. I don’t even recommend anyone in that dealership, I have had a much better time at Cela Ford In new Bern. They have been great, Go there or go to Wilmington.1,200 ish miles: couple CELs came on, they just had to “update something”Around 1,500 miles: left rear door sensor broke, says my door is ajar, waiting for parts for 7 weeks. Also transmission whine like there’s a turbo down there (Ford says that’s normal... I guess)1,600 miles: window seal is lose, rattles non stop, been 6 weeks still waiting for parts3,800 ish miles: low oil level, checked dipstick and there’s like damn near no oil, take it in, they can’t find what’s wrong after only looking at it for a day, put oil back in it and basically said good luck.I’ll never buy a vehicle from them again.
Great customer service when buying a new truck. No high pressure sales. We told the salesman what we were looking for and he did his best to put us in the truck that met our needs at a price we could live with. He was quick to give us some space so we could talk but readily available for information when we needed it. He was also very helpful in knowing just about everything about every vehicle on the lot as well as what was on the lot in their Swansboro store. If youre looking for a new or used vehicle, give Brennan at Sanders Ford a shot.
