It definitely has everything that you could possibly need to complete your crafting/hobby project, however the customer service there is not up to par compared to other companies in the same business... I was lost in the store, this being my first time in JOANN Fabrics at Argyle, and to find someone to help you was almost impossible... Once you found someone, it was as though they were too busy to show you where something was, they just pointed 👉 to the direction... This was a very BAD FIRST IMPRESSION... I will not be returning back to this store in the near future 😒!!!

Surprised at the seemingly limited amount of fabrics...most of store appeared to by set up for crafts not sewing.Also the sewing machine contractor in the store did seem interested in selling new machines...her phone call was more important than dealing with a customer. Her attitude was dont bother me you not important. Definitely lost a sale at this store.

The employees were very nice and helpful. There was a young woman at the fabric counter tonight was very helpful with my fabric, and listen to me blabber on about my sewing project very patiently. Debbie and Beth were super helpful when they checked me out too.

I used to regularly frequent the Joanns on Southside a few years ago. This one is pretty comparable to that one. There are many different fun finds here for hobby and gifts. Like many stores though, they seems to be having an issue with keeping their shelves full from the pandemic.They had many shelves throughout the store that were completely empty. That being said, there were still plenty of things to browse and discover here. If you are into most types of crafts, you will likely find something of interest here.

Closest store for me is about 10-12 miles away. It is not easy to find price on some storage items and price checker inoperable. Had to take bulky item to front from back wall for price. Then returned item back to shelf due to high price given to me. Easier for me to order online

Every aisle looked ransacked except fabric. Just a mess and not easy to shop. Lots of empty shelves sad...this used to be one of my favs to visit. Hope they can get things back on track.

This store is huge, with so many different materials and tools for arts and crafts projects than just fabric. The staff r helpful, super nice, and very professional. They r very knowledgeable, and if they know they dont have what ur looking for, they will gladly tell u where u can get it at. They also have arts and crafts classes. The woman I asked stated she taught classes only for people who purchased Husqvarna Viking machines and quickly walked away as if I was bothering her.I was actually looking to purchase a Husqvarna Viking but because of her attitude, Ill purchase my machine elsewhere.If you dont like your job, find another one!

I just hung up after being transferred 3 or 4 times and then being put in ignore forever! All I had was a simple question about a zipper that anyone could have answered. But no, they wouldnt even give me the chance to speak before transferring me. VERY 😥😞

We went in for fabric for a window cover at Joans in Orange park... Employees in fabric were having an outloud conversation. I approach the Employees, and strangly they all were trying to avoid me but one came out acted a littlebothered, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Will not shop here again. In fact my wife and I walked out, with not a purchase.

Slightly pricey, but well worth it. This store has all your arts and craft needs. I paint, draw, crochet and sew and I get all my supplies here.

Lot of crafts and arts products are available there. I am pretty they also offer classes for sewing, knitting, painting and drawing. For better information, you might have to contact them. Overall, its ideal place to find anything related to decors, arts and sewing_ plenty types of fabric are sold there. I love it!

Very slow checking out. Some ladies bugging the only cashier about a discount which Is okay but other employees just walking around and could see we had already waited 15 minutes. Then 3 other people got in line and they still waited. Finally girl who was walking around came to register. Very poor customer service.

Unprofessional staff. They ALL look like they hate their lives and they treat their customers accordingly. One staff member didn’t want to cut my fabric in sections. . .when I inquired as to why, she responded that it was due to some (bogus made up) policy which translated into because she was LAZY. After requesting a supervisor, her equally incompetent manager came to just stand there. Unfortunately, he couldn’t even look me in the eye and tell me that this policy was legitimate. When I directly asked him why this was even a policy, he said, “Well, because it’s more work for us”...and then proceeded to break their “policy” and cut my fabric in the sections that I wanted in the first place. Hm. That was enough for me to never return as a customer. Smh

My new phone didnt have my app for Joanns on it. I asked if they could pull up my account by phone or email. NO! Once I reinstall the app, can I get a refund for the difference? I was told that I would have to meet with a manager. I walked out and made no purchase.

It was very busy. The had a single line going to 4 registers. I waited in line for about 5 minutes. They had two registers that were not manned. I felt that the line was moving along in an appropriate timey manner. At the store there were a large number of shelves that did not seem to be stocked. This may be because of inventory practices for the new year. Unstocked shelves might have been the result of revamping the shelves for the next holiday. Customer relations is very good as the staff seemed friendly and helpful. Christmas items at 70% off which is appropriate for the timing. They are currently bringing in stock for St Patricks day. Will definitely go back to shop at this store.

Not real happy with sale price notices and the fine fine print. Went to check out and found most of my picks were the $1.98-2.45. So I left them with the cashier.

I placed an online order for store pick up for just 1 yd of fabric. It wasn’t ready when I went the next day for store pick up. The way the cashier communicated with me at that moment came off a little rude like he didn’t want to be bothered & was annoyed that I didn’t know about waiting for an email saying my order was ready. I figured nearly 24 hours was long enough but I was told to wait for an email after he checked to see it wasn’t ready. I didn’t complain b/c I didn’t know the policy & thought it may just be my mind thinking he was being rude. The next day I still hadn’t received the email so I called the store. The guy that answered the phone was extremely rude saying that they don’t have the order & couldn’t look up anything in the system since they didnt have an order #. He snappily told me there was nothing that could be done but I had already paid online so I was asking him for a resolution & while I was in the middle of talking & asking him to look up the item to see if they had it in the store he placed the call on hold without saying anything. Another lady Mrs. Peggy then got on the phone & helped me with the issue within 5 minutes without being rude or curt with me. She even asked if I would like to be placed on hold or have her call back after she looked it up B/c it could take a while. (Wow! Simple customer service works! Who would’ve guessed?!) I then asked to speak with the manager regarding the first associate I talked to on the phone. The manager, Lisa, was very nice & assured me that the associate would be corrected. Although Mrs. Peggy & Lisa did a good job rectifying the situation & handled me well on the phone. I am unlikely to return to this store. I’d rather drive All the way to the town center.

Its a good place, in general. You can usually find what you need. But it is ALWAYS HOT in there. It always looks like the store is about to go out of business. But the heat is ungodly. And Im not a hot natures person so I can only imagine what its like for people who are.The staff is always helpful, however, and will stack coupons.

Trying to get answers on sewing machines, but know was there after 5. Doesnt make sense you have a store inside a store.

Product selection is great but tired of Joann borderline false advertising with add saying Happy planner collection on sale then sign with 30% off over all the products but then at register say no it’s just planners and journals. Well then state that explicitly. Then their “rewards” isn’t really. You can only use it on sale or regular price items. Can’t combine with a coupon, can’t use on clearance, online, or door busters or other specific sales. Everywhere else the rewards you earn are spent like cash. Won’t be returning to Joann.

It was ok, one lady wasnt very helpful and when I needed her help, she wasnt very helpful, then just left me when I was getting what I wanted so I had to go back to another person to finish, she was nice and help me

Cutting table associate was too involved with another associates conversation. Got a stain on the freshly unwrapped fabric and tried to sell it to me. One cashier at checkout handling the Customer Service Desk and 4 deep.waiting to check out. Customer Service is not something to take lightly Store Managers! It is not a difficult task.

I have grown up going to this store... but it has taking a bad turn. I bought a heat press bundle online and it quit working after a week so I took it for an exchange. I called that morning to make sure they had it in stock. The manager said yes and that they would hold it for me. I get there and they treated me very rudely. The manager acted as she didn’t believe me and I was an inconvenience to her. I got home opened it up and ALL of the pieces where missing! Call back and recurved all the pieces from my original bundle. I went to pick up a few items and asked 3 employees where one tool was and not one person was able to tell me right where they where nor could the show me.

Who says men cant have fun in a fabric store; I did. Christmas items 70 + 20% off; including candles and cookies. Office and craft supplies are fun too. Great place to shop for lots of stuff. Men do shop at Joann Fabrics!

They always have something new whenever I go in.

Not the closest Joann but I was in the area and was excited to find that their Halloween section wasnt already picked clean! The staff was nice and quick which isnt something I can always say for Joan stores (and thats as someone who also worked for one nearly 10 years ago).

It was very clean and had a good variety of products. Only had two cashiers when I went, but it was also not busy, so thats ok.

Customer Service was excellent. We arrived at 8:45pm with a list of specific fabrics that I needed to find. Whitney was so helpful. Although, we werent able to locate one of my items, she spent a good amount of time helping me look and was so pleasant while doing so. I was able to find an alternate fabric and was able to fill my list. We checked out at 9:02pm and the cashier was just as nice. Thanks so much! I will be back... With more time to spend.

Great selection and today there was an amazing sale. The customer service was nice as well and when I asked someone for help, she was able to guide me to the area I needed.

Needed one thing, replacement sewing machine needles. Picked out what I wanted and went up front to pay for them, only to find out I cant. The sewing machines and accessories are a separate store. Really mad I stood in line for nothing. I had to go back where i got them from and by them back there. Then they blame the woman who works back there for not telling me, but she was helping some one else and I just grabbed what i needed. It was not her fault. They need to have signs telling people items need to be purchased there, not wait til they get to the register.

Ive shopped in this JoAnn Fabrics before, but had thee most enjoyable experience during my last visit on Tuesday (right after a dismal 4th of July :O() I had the pleasure of getting the most upbeat, personable and pleasant store clerk named Stephanie!! Not only were there items galore on SALE,, but I found a few things I hadnt planned on buying while wondering around the store, just because of the great bargains! I dont know if the store is getting positioned for an inventory change for the Holidays or if COVID-19 makes it possible for us shoppers to benefit, just the same, Im pleased that I ventured into the store on a whim. With all of the great-value coupons I received with my purchase....I plan to return before they expire. Happy Shopping! :O)

Its always fun to visit Joanns to see the wide variety of do it yourself and decorator items available. A class was in progress and I was reminded to check in on upcoming classes - theyre always fun and productive. The students looked to be having fun. The store was a little bare of Christmas items, but the remainder had awesome sales and I was able to find exactly what I needed - some pretty beads and findings at 50% off for last minute finishing off of gifts. BTW, everyone loved their knitted scarves with embellishments!
