Shopping at Lowes Foods is more like going to a neighborhood market with their staff that is welcoming, helpful, and ready to help. Great community programs, like wine nights 🤣 ... Who doesnt need that! When you catch sales you can find some great deals along with having the best products that other stores dont carry.

Blows every other market Ive ever been to... and Ive traveled from coast to coast. Its a little more expensive, but well worth what you get. I believe it even outshines Whole Foods The selection of unique products and service from there outstanding employees Wil always set them apart from the rest. Kudos to the Owner and Staff for making this establishment...The Best of the Best! 💯

I love coming here! Always neat and friendly. Everything is so fresh and my Nigerian foods are even found here at times in the veggie Isle.

I got my haircut at Great clips I always check in online its so much easier.

I do like this store except they don’t have certain products I buy regularly and I have to make I trip to another store for them which is fine. However, what I can’t get over is the fact when I shop I purposely shop and divide my products in my cart to make bagging easier (dry with dry, cans with cans, cold with cold, etc). Well it never fails the cashier will just grab whatever then the baggers don’t know how to bag as every time they will but my bread with a can or I even got chicken put with produce. You’re better off bagging your groceries yourself. This last time the bagger but my bread in with cans and then put in the the cart and put another bag on top of it. 🤦‍♀️ it’s not rocket science but these kids just don’t care.

This Store always has the freshest PRODUCE! The store is always so very well maintained, organized and clean. The decorations are so creatively displayed, and the staff is so very friendly and helpful!! BUT THE FOOD Is the absolute best!!!! I cant stop coming in for the delicious Deli meats, fresh bread, amazing seafood, plentiful pastries and SOOOO MUCH MORE!!! I ABSOLUTELY LUV LOWES FOODS of JACKSONVILLE, NC!!!

We normally visit the local Lowe’s and have a couple guys in Meat that know us by name that sell us meat scraps so we can feed our boy—they are the BEST! Extremely personable and accommodating! However, I was not impressed in the slightest of the woman we had tonight. Not only did she charge us $1.20 MORE per a pound for SCRAPS but was also rude! We went in @ 3 on a Saturday, which isn’t extremely late. Not impressed.

Horrible, I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal. The chicken was very dry and I could not chew it. The mashed potatoes were brown and old. The mac and cheese was gummy and cold. I was asked by the girl behind the counter to remove my mask because she couldnt understand me. She asked if I wanted a roll or corn bread. I opted for the roll and she gave me corn bread( in which I hate) but I didnt notice until I got home. I will never eat here again. My friens told me they have great chicken. I guess we have different tastes or I hit them at the wrong time. 🤢🤮

Just love this grocery store. The produce is always fresh. I love their baked goods too. Near the restrooms, are their sale items. $5 Sushi on Wednesdays is such a treat. My kiddos love their Chicken Littles and I love the price. Their beer options are the best ive seen in town. That section has a nice young lady (Alyssa) who was super sweet and helpful with the beer suggestions. Thanks!

Decided not to cook and was told about the hot foods there, it was just as if I cooked myself. Fried chicken, collards cornbread yummy. I made my own mac and cheese lol. Heck I may not cook anymore.

My favorite grocery store in Jacksonville. You can find just about everything here. Best fresh produce department in town.Bakery has tons to choose from.Not to mention they have a smokehouse in the back and they dont mess around. Bacon, chicken, pork, and beef. Ive tried them all and they are all amazing. Honestly the best smoke in town. Did I mention they make their own line of sausages there too. I recommend all 12 flavors.For the microbrewery fans, you can buy some 🍺 from the beer and wine bar. Selections change often. Always something new to try. This is how grocery shopping should be.

This is my favorite grocery store in town because of the fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery and specialty items.I purchased oranges and strawberries and when I got home I realized they were spoiled at the bottom. I returned to Lowe’s Food the next day for a refund and the store associate informed me of the 200% freshness guarantee. Not only did I receive my full refund in cash, I also received a gift card for the cost of the fruit. I was shocked but grateful to receive such amazing service for my inconvenience. I’m aware that perishables do spoil, and Lowe’s Food has once again impressed me with their customer service.

The sushi was on point, as always....but I struggled with the individual muffins that are in the tins still.....my top came off and had to finagle the rest of it outa the cup.Wish all muffin tops were that easy to remove lmao!

And here I am thinking Im going back to work Im like why are we going to Lowes and hes like this is where Im going to get food I said Lewis doesnt carry food for crying out loud its a lumber store hardware store my boyfriends like not this one apparently this place has the same name as your job back home but it carries food I was like shut the front door we got to stop in so we stopped in and sure enough it blew my mind it was absolutely amazing with all the different kinds of meats and fruits and vegetables oh my God I just wanted to heaven!

They have been out of a few items I drive a hour away to get from them such as stone crab claws. Prices are extremely high for everything but store is clean and tidy.

Super clean store, very large, great selections and helpful associates. Prices are competitive.

Staff is always friendly. You can have special foods like Irish Porter Cheddar ordered to the store at the customer service counter. Makes for some epic Mac & Cheese when paired with their other imported cheeses & pastas. The bakery, or Cakery, has great Tiramisu & Cannoli. The deli has amazing meats & premade foods. The Sausage Works/seafood area have great crab legs, sausages, spices, & sauces. The beer den offers free samples for whatever they have on tap and will try to order whatever you want if it isnt available in store.

Great value is what you get in this store.

I am fairly new to Jacksonville from NY. Ive checked out all the food markets. This is by far my favorite. Super presentation, quality, cleanliness and product selection with friendly, helpful staff.

This is probably one of the best grocery stores around, if not the best. They have a huge variety of items, including hard to find items. The store is always very clean and well stocked/ organized. The meats are great, as well as the fish, fruits and veggies. It is a little pricier than some grocery stores, but the quality of the produce and meats is way beyond that of ANY grocery store around here.

This place is great, besides the high prices. They do a funny chicken dance sometimes and its a fun place to shop with your kids with buttons to press where the glizzys are and lobsters to look at. Good place for the kids

Not a fan of the layout or organization. Stuff is hard to find and not grouped where you expect items to be.

The meat department here is always the best meat in the area. If they dont have it out, theyll cut you a piece.The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is because the Hispanic section is very sparse.

Nice selection, well stocked, a little higher end feel than food lion and Walmart’s but still has reasonable prices. Pride them self on local stuff like pet dairy milk, Burgaw blueberries and especially focusing on craft beers from local breweries.The parking lot sucks and is hard to get on gum branch at times.

The selection of beer was phenomenal, and the guy that just closed up the beer den was very friendly and offered some great recommendations. Checking out was another story, I dont know what it was but the cashier whos name started with Pam was a... well... quite rude in my opinion. Then I looked at the receipt and had to go back in to try to find something, anything, that said the lip balm I purchased was supposed to cost $3.75, I guess I should expect bullshit prices on everything in the store anyways. Ill still go back for beer and bread though.

I actually enjoy grocery shopping, but shopping here is a pleasant experience. The produce is good and generally fresh, the butchers are knowledgeable and helpful with a suggestion, and all the employees are friendly. More importantly the lines are rarely more than one person ahead of you and they have great s-evil the counters besides the usual deli and bakery. They smoke their own meats on-site including awesome sushi selections, have a sushi counter and chicken (rotisserie and fried plus tasty sides). It’s a good place to shop. The prices are not as cheap as other stores, but I think it’s worth it.

We order grocery pickup every Weekend from Lowes. Their quality of food surpasses all local stores. I love how friendly their employees are. Our food is always packed appropriately. When we go shopping in person, I appreciate seeing how health conscious they are during the coronavirus pandemic.

Absolutely love this place if you shop by their sales. With that said, nice salad bar, great store sushi, fabulous small bakery. The bakery has something for everyone and you can get it by the slice in most cases. They also have an olive bar and huge cheese selection. Wine selection is one of the best I have shopped at in this area. Their produce section is the best for actually having fresh fruit and vegetables that are ripe and ready to eat.

Clean and friendly people. I love the sausage and my wife loves the sushi. Some prices are high but the quality of brands is much more abundant and this works well for some of the things I shop here for.

They have the BEST fresh cut fruits here. I drive out of my way for the watermelon and berry mix. Fresh and juicy every time!Plus I love their tres leches cake and chicken salad with grapes.Everyone is polite and helpful. Love Lowes Foods!!!

Best fried chicken I found in Jacksonville NC

I always enjoy coming into Lowes. My 4yo has a fabulous time driving around the kiddo shopping carts. It always ends up being a more expensive trip but I love coming into a grocery store that has a broad selection of food and just being able to explore and discover something new and interesting I can try. I can also count on lowes to have any specialty items needed for recipes that most grocery stores may have only one product stocked of if any. Several times this year we have used grocery pickup as well and very much enjoy the ease of pulling up and having our groceries loaded in (some days the idea of taking littles into the grocery store with you is just not at the top of your fun things to do list).*Hello oysters! Had dinner with friends after months of craving oysters I finally picked some up to share (hubby doesnt eat them but our friends do so decision made) picked up 20 oysters and a shucking knife and hoped for a good pick! Luckily, our friends had shucked oysters before and had some accompaniments yo top them. Lowes for the win! I hadnt had oysters in a few years and they exceeded my expectations! ❤

It is a pretty store. You are paying more money for the way the store looks. Items here cost more for the same exact thing somewhere else. In my opinion not worth wasting your money unless you live very close. In that case, this place is more like a fancy gas station without the gas.
