Publix is the store where shopping is a pleasure! This is the stores advertising logo, but it really is true. Their employees are all nice and helpful. If you cant find something, they dont just tell you where it is, they stop what theyre doing and take you to find what you want. Publix also has the most unusual products that are not found in other grocery stores, if youre looking for those kind of things. I believe their bakery, their Thanksgiving dinners, their deli (and you should see that daily line) are all deliciously fantastic. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, there may be some products we cant find at Publix at this time, but not many.N. Powell

This store is a hot mess!! If you bring your own bags forget the self checkout. They rarely have any chicken available. No rotisserie chicken, no fried chicken, no wings.They simply cannot cook enough. Some of the fruit is not fresh. In fact it is quite old looking. Yuck! Throw out the moldy berries already! The parking lot is a dangerous place. Cars in every direction there is no respect for pedestrians.

It is clean, well-stacked, and the employees are both numerous and very helpful. Its in a busy location and their parking lot is frequently filled, which hardly seems like their fault as a supermarket. The only fault I can find with Publix is its higher prices. I understand more employees on a shift = higher overhead costs and they need to offset that. Its the nature of the beast, I suppose, if you want to have a decent shopping experience and not feel the need to take a bleach dip as soon as you leave in these insane times...

I shop here regularly, and there always friendly.... shelf always stocked. Couldnt ask for nothing more

Employees here are all awesome. Very friendly and courteous place to shop.

Nice friendly store however, some of the customers lack civility and just dont follow the obligatory such as going through the wrong door, driving fast/wrong way through the parking lot, using profanity outloud, dont put the shopping carts back LITTERING EVERYWHERE! I know they dont like being stereotyped but a lot of them fit it well.

I love shopping there. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are always wee stocked. I always find what I am looking for. I am never disappointed.

I have visited this store several times hoping to have a different experience sad to report no it hasnt happened. This Publix does not deliver the service that I have come accustomed to with shopping at Publix. In my opinion this starts at the top with store management, hold yourself and employees accountable for delivering the service and professionalism your company known for. And please get some help for the deli department it never seems to be enough employees helping with the customers. This has to get better.

Always a great place to shop and get hot or cold freshly prepared sub sandwiches! There may be a long wait time, but its worth it.

Very well stocked.. Sushi is delicious. Dim lighting. Every cashier is helpful. King crab legs are delicious. They give my children stickers at the end of our visit

Publix Super market is superior to all grocery competition in Jacksonville. Some stores however are of higher quality in professional equity and execution of public policy.

I love this store. The deli and bakery has delicious food and every week there are discount sales or buy one get one free deals. Great staff and I appreciate that they have both cashiers and baggers plus self checkout lanes.

I would have given them five stars but the lines were long and they had registers not being used. Its a great store.

This store has quickly became the worst Publix deli by far. No chicken ever. Very rude, lethargic customer service.the rest of the store seems to be great. If you just want a sub or something from the deli i strongly suggest driving an extra 10 minutes to another Publix.

Ground chuck tomatoes, onion and kosher pickles was what I needed to have everything to make my homemade hamburger!

Everything was easily accessible and the price was normal a bit crowded but today is Friday.cashier was friendly and courteous nothing is ever perfect so I give it a 4 ⭐

We love publix. Only thing is the way you have to go to get to it. You turn on a side street and all the traffic for the stories, bank, and apartments come to one 4 way sign...

Every time I order a sub from the deli it is never ready for the time that I put it in. This last time I just put in a order at 3:48 pm for 4:30 pm pick up. Since it’s usually not ready on time I came later at 5:10. At 5;30 it still was not done. They hadn’t even started on it. So standing there waiting for them to make 3 subs on top of coming after my pick up time. I have things to do I can’t just stand there for an hour. Last time I just left cause they were putting wrong ingredients on it that I didn’t order and also I didn’t have time to wait for them to make it, so they lost that sale. Apparently more employees are needed to stay on top of the deli. The store is trashy outside and always weird people standing outside of the store making you feel uncomfortable. I will not return here. SMH.Update at 6 pm I’m still waiting

Kinda pricey but decent service and good selection

Definitely not the Publix caliber that I have come to expect from other locations. They dont stock as well, the Deli counter has been leaving much to be desired, there are only a couple of them that make me feel as though I am not bothering them. 😞 And they seem to always be busy somehow!

As far as grocers go its pretty decent. Fast lines, good sandwiches. Try the ham and gouda!

Ordered a cake and they told me it would be ready by 1 birthday was at 2. I got there at 115 and it was not ready and the lady had attitude saying if I can wait shell decorate it.

Today was the 4th time that i have went in for lunch to pick up chicken and they dont have any, they tell me i will be out in 20 minutes this time i decided to hang around until it was ready instead of going to another Publix then 35 minutes later when i question them again they tell me that they have just dropped it and it would be 15 minutes, i stood there at the deli area for the complete time just to make sure that i didnt miss when it was ready. The service and cleanlieness leaves a lot to be desired, from now on i will drive the 15 minutes to the Merrill Road store for my lunch, at least i know that i will get my lunch there, With service the way it is at this store they should change their name to Winn Dixie

Dunn Ave Publix is the worst Publix to go to. Their workers in the Deli are VERY slow and don’t care that they’re moving slow. Very unprofessional. No one said sorry for the wait or anything. The manager is sorry and doesn’t tell their crew to get on their job! I would not go to the Deli here!

They were busy and I was in a hurry. I was able to easily find what I was looking for and get through the cashiers lane in a reasonable period of time.

Have always like our neighborhood Publix. Store personnel is helpful and friendly. Good grocery products, especially like their seafood.

Dont like the new selfs check out lines. Of you wonder why is because people that can be doing the work get unemployed and the only one that benefit is the corporation.If you tell me that I will get % discount, I still want and will prefer to have a person benefit from having a job than me getting few cents less on my bill

This has got to be the worst Publix I’ve ever stepped foot in.Not only has it disappointed me several different times with lack of professionalism, cleanliness, nor customer service. Had a online order posted by 7:45pm with a pick up time of 8:30pm not only was my order not ready, it was never MADE at all !! Guy behind the counter shrugged his shoulders after telling me “idk where it’s at” another co worker shows up and they mumbled around until they come up with “we ran out of everything” excuse to give us. This store has a big management issue that needs to be dealt with. The deli department need to get it together. I know we’re on Dunn ave but damn we don’t have to act like it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Deli is an absolute wreck at this location. Standing in line for 30 minutes for a sub because they only have one person helping the line. Other sandwich makers are doing online orders, even when the line has more than 8 people in it. Ridiculous.

Love Publix. Had to go in and buy me a bottle of kombucha.

Good grocery store if you are only running in foe one or 2 things otherwise highly over priced. Service was spot on. I did chuckle when the cashier had to pull out her phone to make change. I guess they dont see cash often.

For my Aunt’s birthday we decided to do something small at home. For the dessert we chose Publix because they’re known for delicious yet inexpensive cakes. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! The Raspberry Elegance cake was so beautiful and tasty. I honestly consider this my favorite cake!As we’ve all come to appreciate and expect, the customer service was great (the bakery manager suggested the cake) and the store is clean. The parking lot is hectic but manageable. I’d definitely refer others to this store.

First time I can say I visit a bad publix. Normally I dont look at the area, but this publix fit all the stereotypes when you in a bad area. Even the managers were rude when ask simple questions.

I ordered a cake from this store on June 5, 2021 for my daughters birthday. Not only was my order incorrect it was stale and dry. I ordered butter cream icing and we got whipped icing and the cake was dry and stale. The children even threw it away, I paid $35 for this cake and I will never order from here again.

I was just racially profiled in this publix at the customer service desk while picking up a western union. She didnt go through with the transaction because my address has not changed. I called western union and no where in there policy states my address had to be the same on Id. Especially if the transaction was done with a security question.

Probably the worst Publix in Florida. We live very close to this store and try to avoid it. After their bait and switch advertising practices with refusal to even issue rainchecks during a pandemic, its kinda hard to even like Publix anymore.

Me and my daughter went to pay electric bill. Then we bought their yogurt. Which personally I think is great, (fruit on bottom). Then we bought their sherbert. Most of my kids like the three varieties. There was a sale on ice cream. So I had to get that. They had one of my favorites Lactaid brand ice cream. Bought two of those. My other daughter bought Haagen dazs. And some drinks. And, as always Its a pleasure .

Worse experience I have ever had in a Publix. Not enough workers at the service desk to handle the amount of traffic at this site. Line was all the way down an entire isle & store manager was totally aware. Only had 2 people handling service desk. I will never go back to this store to shop. Apparently a lot of their shoppers buy lottery tickets & way too much time is spent at the service desk doing this instead of taking care of Publix shoppers. Someone in their corporate office needs to just show up unannounced at this location around 4:00 on.

Dirty, rude people (not store associates, the customers), and hardly ANY checkout lanes open. Waited 15 minutes to checkout, and the rest of the time trying to maneuver through the store. No help in meat or seafood departments, and customers were lined up 6-8 deep in both departments waiting for service. On super bowl Sunday, you would think they would plan for the extra business a lot better. However, its the same every day, no matter what time I go in there.

Ive been to this publix a few times. Its always clean but the lines to check out tend to be a bit long. But no matter the wait or time I visit the clerks are always nice. I like this publix

Best place for a sub however could use a Renovation as the Deli area gets super crowded and there isnt a pharmacy.

Horrible customer service, waited for 25 mins for chicken just to be told they were short staffed then that they decided to not cook any more chicken for the evening at 7pm. There were a line of customers almost 8 people waiting.

I have to say that this by far was my worst experience Ive ever had at any Publix anywhere. I went in to purchase some items on EBT upon getting to the register I was informed by the bag person that was bagging the groceries that they dont let you do that you cannot punch your code in to pay for your items with EBT you have to have a physical card now that wouldnt be a problem if 3 hours prior to this I wasnt in Publix buying stuff with my EBT without the card and I had to punch the number in manually at another location and had no problem whatsoever, also this is not the first time that Ive had to manually put in my card information so I dont understand what the issue was with this time but im very disappointed.
