We decided to go from a Fleetwood Gas motorhome to a fifth wheel model.Ken Fitzgerald with Campers Inn was very knowledgeable with the Alliance 385FL unit.He showed us why this was the model fifth wheel for our family. We would recommend that you visit Ken at Campers Inn before you make a major purchase like a new RV.
Upon entering this establishment everyone was friendly and nice. Luis Ramos was an exceptional RV matchmaker on answering all of our concerns and needs and might, I add very patient with us. We highly recommend Luis! 🤩
If you are planning to purchase an RV from camper Inn in Jacksonville Florida Beware. I purchased gap insurance and traded my rv eight months later at another dealership. Unfortunately after filling all the required paperwork to get a partial refund for the gap insurance and emails, calls, to not avail. After five months nothing. They will never see me buying another RV from them.
Picked up my camper 4-14 2021 for warranty repairs due 2 years ago.Every time I call, they have trouble finding it on their lot even though it has ct plates on it. I have spoken to at least 3 new service managers that have promised me to get back as soon as possible. One manager said that it was fixed. The next manage said it wasnt. How long does it take to replace a stove? I was told that they ordered one in Jan. STAY AWAY FROM SERVICE!!!I would like my camper back!!!!!!
Ronnie was the best dealer I’ve had!! Recommend him!! I can’t say the same for finance manager or the service manager they were very disrespectful. They did not treat us the way a customer should be treated, it’s was all about money.
Nice place beautiful travel trailers. Inventory was down so could only look at a couple. Being homeless really stinks but God willing we will find something.
Go see Barry, he is a great RV matchmaker.Update on our purchase that was made on July 31st. Weve had so many issue with the service department on IOUs. Last we heard from them was in September, even reach out since then with no call back nor reply to emails. Ended up reaching out to the manufacturer of our RV, who in turn reach out to Campers Inn and they cant even get a call back or returned email.
Sales were friendly and also financed was great. At first service seem to be great. Ive called several times and they never answered the phone. One time I got the manager and he did take care of my needs at that time. Parts dept was very informative.
Personable customer service. We went in based on the recommendation of good friends to look @ a 19 ft Airstream Interstate. One week later, were the proud owners of our very first RV. We incredibly happy with our purchase, the customer service from the moment we walked in the front door (everyone is soooooo friendly) and most especially our salesman (Greg Woday). He made the entire process very pleasant (explaining the unit etc, test drive, putting down the floor mats for us, explaining the key fob slot), just very very nice. Were very pleased and very happy with the entire process. Thank you.
I would like to start by saying Ken was a great guy to work with, never replied back to any emails that were sent to him, but a good salesman and professional. Now the others and the financing people on the other hand were very unprofessional.Went in there to sign off on a quote, looked at the camper one last time before purchase with Gregg and boy was he a friendly one... (enter sarcasm here)..... and the next thing i know i am being asked when my husband and I could come and pick up the camper...Umm Im sorry did i miss something..??We havent even discussed if i was approved yet, the APR, the monthly payments or nothing..!!AND when i went to ask him all of those things, he was very secretive with me about it, not wanting to tell me what financing company they went through etc. etc..Sure wish i could remember his name but needless to say i backed out of that sale quick.. very conniving and sneaky and i am not going to be caught up in that.!! I guess thats what its all about being a salesman and trying to get a sale.. NOPE!
My husband and I were doing fine while we were dealing with the sales agent Gregg Woday, but then we met with the finance manager, Jenica, and she didnt like the fact we didnt want the $6,000 warranty. We went back to do a walk through and the technician told us a few things they had ordered for the trailer but had not received yet, we went to the bank got the down payment and met with Jenica again, she asked for the clipboard from the walk through, we didnt have one but I had written a list on my phone, she then looked up and said, you do realize this is being sold as an as is unit. I told her yes, but we were told these things would be fixed before we drove off. The trailer had gotten an ugly stain on it in between the first time we looked at and the walk through, she said they may or may not get that out. The only reason were sticking with this purchase is because I think the sales persons commission was being hurt by the finance manager, which isnt right!
Took my rv there in early August for insurance claim on slide toppers, skylight damage got a call week later saying main slideout broke going to cost 900 dollars to fix not happy but ok also got estimates on resealing part of my roof this out of pocket ok lets get it done. After about a month in shop called and was giving a date to pick up didnt happen, over and over giving a date, finally I say to Barry I booked for a trip next week do I need to cancel so I want loose money no dont cancel it will be ready, didnt happen lost money.10 days later go pick up rv the leveling jacks not working given a price of 1500 dollars to repair ask to speak to manager told him I should not pay for this 2 problems that has happened since rv been on your lot he told me get my rv take it somewhere else I wish could remember his name very nasty guy I came got rv paid for roof sealing slide repair gave them check from insurance Barry would not even say thank you for the money that I spent even if dont agree with my complaint the descent thing to do is say thank you to a customer not to mention the money I have spent in parts there the last year. WOW campers inn never again, also my electric steps are working sometimes all my storage compartments were unlocked no need to be in there
Just want to say what a great experience we had at Campers INN Jacksonville Florida Gregg Woday was awesome to deal with. He was very helpful in getting us the Alliance RV we wanted and there was never any pressure. Jenica In the finance department, was so helpful and patient with all my emails and questions and she worked very hard getting us to the numbers we were more comfortable with. We met so many people in the service department Bryan has a great team. Alex, Easy and Connie, were so pleasant and knowledgeable even though we found some minor things that needed attention, they were right on it. We would totally recommend Campers INN on General Road in Jacksonville Fl.
We had a great experience purchasing our new coach at Campers Inn. Luis and the entire staff were no pressure, helpful and accommodating as we worked through the process of seeing it, evaluating it, test driving it and then trading our coach in and purchasing and Ventana. They answered all of our questions and followed up after the sale, making us feel like family the entire time. And I will add, what a coach! Newmar has their act together when they build these things. We are both thrilled with it.
I will never go there again we went in looking for light bulbs for our rv and an older man came up to us and asked if we needed anything and I said we’re just for light bulbs he there over here as I was looking at them they were all numbered so I was looking on my phone for a picture of the package with the number on it and he said in a smart tone that won’t tell me anything and I politely said it will me then I will know which one I need then my husband asked him if they carried sun shades because we have been shopping around for one he said no but I can have one here tomorrow so I’ll look up the price for yywhen he gave us the price 392.00 I politely said I think we’ll wait and think about it he then said I will walk you straight to the door it was the rudest and worst customer service I’ve ever experienced we just left and said we now know where not to go
Amazing experience and Greg our sales rep and financing made the process extremely easy and expedited!
Thanks for the free water fill up and dump for our RV! To other travelers; try and be kind and courteous: Flushing the provided sewage hose is not hard. Dont be lazy.
**I will update when I get my coach back.I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I dropped off my coach yesterday for a service department appt I scheduled a month ago and after I was all checked in I was informed they would TRY to get it looked at in a few weeks. WHAT? Whats the point of an appt if it still just sitting on their lot for WEEKS before they run diagnostics and start processing the warranty claim? 😡I really want to be happy with their service department as its hard to find one that performs quality work in the time slots given but so far Im simply furious. Why is a good RV Dealership so hard to find? I plan to buy a new couch soon and have always been happy with Campers Inn down home feel but I have to have a reliable Service department at my purchasing dealership.
Fantastic and friendly staff, and great selection and pricing!I wanted to say thank you for such a great buying experience! And thank you for being great people! While the circumstances of us deciding to finally take the plunge to buy a new camper was not really fun, you folks really made us feel welcome and went out of your way to make us comfortable and feel welcome. Even to the point of Ms. Kim lending us a beautiful car to go to lunch and the service guys staying after hours to work on the hitch. The entire experience while a bit long was comfortable and really made more enjoyable by your obviously caring attitudes and concern for my family. You guys are who I will recommend all of our friends go to for RVs!Service department is great to work with! Scheduled some warranty work on minor things and they have been nothing but helpful and nice. Keep up the great work!Well after several months of waiting for some parts to come in that were found on the walk through, I have been told they are in, they cant be found, they will be shipped to Ocala (closer to me) Ocala never got them. I shoudl not have to be dealing with issues like this months after buying a new campers. I have changed my review from 5 stars to two because of the lack of the service department on knowing what they are doing..
Its almost impossible to have anybody here do something for you. Im trying to find a part for my rv being I can only get the part through an authorized dealer and this is where we got our camper. Unfortunately no one but the front desk answers the phone and when I did get ahold of someone in parts he had an attitude like he didnt wanna help. Said hed call me back with an answer and never heard back. So tired of trying to get anybody to help here. The only other place I can go is camping world in Ocala.
Great experience in first time buy of RV for vacations! Ken in Sales was so helpful and knowledgeable Jenica was super efficent with our paperwork. I give both 5 stars in customer service. Highly recommending Campers Inn RV Jacksonville I am adding a great compliment to Alex in Service who did an amazing job during the orientation! Thank you Alex!
I recently purchased a used Phoenix Cruiser from Bob White at CI Jacksonville West. Even though this was a used unit and far from the most expensive unit on the lot, he was excellent. He told me on initial contact I will take care of you from start to finish . I have heard this once or twice from sales folks before. This time it was absolutely true. From negotiation to delivery Bob was honest and fair and did exactly what he said he would do. No surprises. If you are considering a purchase of a Phoenix Cruiser, regardless of where you live, (we are in NH and traveled to Jacksonville for delivery), I strongly recommend you make contact with Bob White. Based on my experience, you will not be disappointed, and it is a very good product.
It has been 6 weeks and we have yet to get our deposit back. One is making an excuse and putting it off on someone else whobisbthen putting it off on someone else. My next step is corporate office.
Dropped off RV for a repair, very professional and informative.
Lots to look at. Take a full day to really cover the lot or narrow down your search in an hour. Numerous price ranges. Something for almost every taste.
Updated 09/2021 - disappointed that the campground is closed and no longer available to prior customers.
I have been trying since August to get the parts department to order a screen door hinge part for a Jayco Melbourne we bought from you. I have called several times, left messages and sent emails. I do not get call backs air replies to any emails. I would like for their manager of Campers Inn Jacksonville to call me and left number, but if parts department is any indication I will never receive a call. The service department is good. When we bought the camper they fixed the automatic step which was part of the agreement. It quit working as soon as we got it home. Took it back and they unhooked it. We now have a manual step. All other service but step has been very good and great communication. Price was a little higher, but the do communicate well in Service.
Staff should know better, didnt know where to look for brochures?! Label the drawers! Then, in the middle of talking to a sales rep he got a phone call and walked away- never said excuse me or anything. Definitely need better trained staff, the lady at the front desk though- she seemed to know her stuff, she just needed to get a sales rep that wasnt so green on customer service. My last experience in North Carolina at a Campers Inn wasnt very impressive either. Now I know, Not to go back to that chain: 1st impressions are everything Gregg.
Enjoyed the visit bcs the Salesman was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about RVs while I consider purchasing.
Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. My RV was there for 4 months for a leak in the roof, picked it up and first time it rained it leaked again.Ordered a new dash and it was the wrong color. They need some serious changes there.🤬🤬
By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company that prides themselves on satisfaction of the customer. We bought a brand new RV back in august of 2020. We had what we thought was a great salesman who we thought was very knowledgeable about the class A we were purchasing both turned out to be untrue. We reached out to the management team and all we got was excuses which seemed to be mostly because of COVID-19. Turn the page to the service department. When and if you get ahold of them they blame everything on the ability to get parts. The last time our RV was there for service it took 34 days and that’s after I reached out to Forest River myself about the status of parts. I don’t usually do this kind of thing online but if your in the market of buying a trailer or RV and you come across of this Campers Inn in Jacksonville RUN!!!! These folks don’t care about you are the money you have spent. If you must go to a campers inn go to the one that is the north facility...they are both owned by the same folks but it must be the management there that makes the difference Atleast they are honest and proactive. If you have direct questions as a customer feel free to contact me. I have details for days about this establishment.....
My wife and I bought our fifth wheel at the Kingston NH location a couple of months ago. We drove it down the east coast and are camped out near Jacksonville. This morning I noticed one of our propane connections was leaking when I turned it on. My wife called the Campers Inn of Jacskonville to find out if they had a replacement as well as whether they had any locks in stock to secure our hitch head to the slide assembly to avoid possibly theft of the hitch. Ron told her he had both items. We drove the 45 minutes to the Campers Inn and met with Ron. He was from the first moment of speaking with him curt to put it politely. He was in the process of helping another man, who he seemed to abandon to ask us if we needed help, which was odd. When my wife asked about the hitch head lock he replied “I never said that I said we have a lock for your fifth wheel” referring to a king pin lock; specifically not what we asked for. We thought maybe there was a misunderstanding and let it go. I then showed Ron our faulty connection and his initial response was “We don’t have anything like that there’s an Ace Hardware down the road” - apparently because the pigtail was connected directly to the regulator. We asked if we could just buy a regulator and pigtail here as seperate items and he said “Oh yeah that works too.” I picked up an MEC 1/4” flare 24” pigtail and a 30 psi regulator that appeared to both match my faulty connector. I asked specifically “Does this regulator fit this connection?” and his response was “Yeah those are all universal” - fast forward to $45 later and a 45 minute drive back to camp to find out the new regulator has what appears to be a 1/3” female receiver that the 1/4” male connector clearly doesn’t fit and slides right in and out barely touching the regulators threading. When I call back to complain Ron says “I never said anything about universal and I must not have looked at the sizes but we have an adapter for that or you could go to a hardware store for that.” Well, the reason we didn’t go to a big box hardware store and save money and time and diesel fuel was because we wanted to have the confidence that a specialty RV item was the correct fit for us. When I said that he in fact had said it was universal or I wouldn’t have walked out with the two he relented “Okay maybe I said ‘universal’ but whatever that’s just semantics” - no that is not semantics, that’s the difference between a functional SAFE propane connection and a non functional UNSAFE gas situation. When I asked to speak to a manager he asked “What’s that going to do? I told you if you bring it back we can return it or you could do the easy thing and go to a local hardware store for the adapter.” No apology, no ‘what can I do to make this okay,’ just another direction for me to go to a hardware store. Just like he started with to begin with despite a WALL of RV propane connections in store. What is the point of a parts department if a) they don’t want to sell you parts and b) when they do sell you parts they advise you incorrectly about them?I should note the young woman who served as reception was very nice and welcoming and this review is not reflective of the service we received in NH.
Outstanding sales team! Greg Woday is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient as he went through multiple coaches with a friend who is searching for his first RV. He didnt purchase a coach during this trip, but was impressed by the low pressured sales vibe. We went to another large RV dealer in Jax and were disappointed with the experience.Im on my 3rd motorhome and highly recommend you give Campers Inn in Jacksonville a shot at your business if youre in the market for a new or used RV. Youll enjoy the sales experience over the local competition.I will seek them out if and when I upgrade from my current coach!
7 weeks and counting on essential papers to register unit.
My husband and I recently purchased a 2021 Rockwood Signature from Campers Inn. Our salesman, Rich, was awesome to work with on our journey to finding something perfect for our wants. Ms Jenica made getting financed a breeze and Jeff in the service department took plenty of time showing me all of the gadgets and gizmos on the camper. We really appreciate all of the friendly and helpful employees at this Jacksonville location.
Great selection and customer service.
Decent selection of Newmars!
My friend is buying an RV from them. They have been very accommodating.
I Had a great experience here, Everyone was great that I worked with, Bob help me find unit I needed, Jenica Got the deal done quick & Rich was awsome he took his own time & dropped it off at my house after hours, Thank you. I will be back in the future.
Mitch is fantastic. None pressure sales. Very straightforward people from beginning to end. Alexis did a wonderful job explaining in detail everything about the camper we bought from front to back, bottom to top. Rick in the financial department was very thorough and made sure he did everything correctly down to the penny. We would definitely recommend this location and the guys here!
We took travel trailer to campers inn Jacksonville for an insurance repair. We had a mouse infestation we knew they had been in our ceiling ac vents and in the wall behind our stereo and chewed the wires to our stereo/DVD player. We did not know where the mice got in. They called us after 2 months saying job was complete. The trailer was still inhabital still smelled of mouse urine. Im not even going to say how much they charged our ins. For basically replacing the stereo and blowing some air hose through the ac vent. So we left the trailer there they submitted an additional supplement to our ins to supposedly sanitize those vents. They charged another outrageous fee to our ins and they basically set an air freshener bomb off inside the camper and called us and said it was ready. We picked it up because it did smell like the problem was fixed. Upon returning home I discovered where the mice got in through an opening in the belly of the camper i also found mouse bedding inside that hole. So rather than continue to deal with campers in my husband dropped the belly cover and omg. All of our heat hoses were chewed through multiple wireing was chewed though not to mention mouse urine and feces everywhere under there. Then inside we pulled a cabinet off to find inside the wall full of feces and urine. This is after our ins has paid out over 6 grand to this place!! They never even attempted to find where the problem started!! My husband has replaced all venting and fixed wireing himself.and sealed all openings we are still removing panels inside the camper and finding things. Long story short the service provided here was absolutely horrible. I have pictures to submit what we found but dont see how to add them.
Today we bought a travel trailer at Campers Inn in Jacksonville. I highly recommend going to David Pounds. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the products and very patient with us. I felt no sales pressure and he answered all of our questions. They have everything on site to take care of you after the sale too. I would say a five star experience.
Might be a good place to purchase an RV but dont take it in for repairs. I took mine in to have the refrigerator checked for not cooling intermittently. I have the extended warranty and the refrigerator is only two years old. The technician told me he cleaned two small vents and it works perfect now. Charged me $127. I brought it home and turned it on in the gas mode and it got down to 51°in 24 hours. Should be around 35°. I called them and told them the situation and was told theres nothing more they could do except replace the refrigerator. Very unhappy with them. Im calling BBB.
We drove in a grounds keeper very nice, said he would get someone to help us, so we drove to see the class c, some one I believe to be service very rude. Said No salesman will come out unless we check in at front desk. With baby an dog in tow that was a little much. Maybe you should practice customer service. And be more flexible to clients/consumersThe location was I-10
We were having problems with our RV and stopped looking for help. Brian, the service manager, said they couldnt help us but called other service places and offer to let us park until we sorted things out. Everyone was very friendly and put in the extra effort to help us. Thank you!
Awesome experience!! My awning was damaged in a storm. David in parts did a great job sourcing the parts to fix it. John in service had the repair done in a few hours after dropping my trailer off. Both were super pleasant to deal with.
Recently purchase a 2020 Dynamax DX3 37TS from Campers Inn RV of Jacksonville West and had the pleasure of working with Greg Woday. What an OUTSTANDING experience. His knowledge of the Dynamax Brand and attention to detail clearly was one of the key reasons that we purchased from Campers Inn RV of Jacksonville West. We had multiple visits to look at the 2020 Dynamax DX3 37TS and each time he answered all of our questions and did an amazing job on the test drive explaining everything necessary for a safe ride. THANK YOU GREG.... Also have been back twice now for Warranty work and our experience with Bryan Witkowski the Service Manager again was OUTSTANDING. He worked with Dynamax multiple times to ensure that all the items were covered by Dynamax, even when it took multiple phone calls and several pictures. The work is always done right the first time and always delivers a clean RV when we pick it up. He has meet us on TWO SATURDAYS for pickup and clearly went over all the correct Warranty items. So between Outstanding SALES and SERVICE what more could one ask from an RV Dealership. They have gained our loyalty and future business.
Very friendly staff with a great parts department.
Having been experienced 5th wheel owners, we wanted to move up to a Motor Coach. Researched a 2020 Dynamax DX3 and called and made an appointment. We were greeted nicely and meet with Gregg Woday, the Sales Associate. He shared two models with us and answered every question we had. Gregg is extremely knowledgeable and professional, impressive with his ability to educated us on all the nuances. He has a great personality to boot! We purchased and have had it back twice for warranty work in which Bryan Witkowski, the Service Manager, has met with us each time. Bryan has been an absolute dream to work with; he has delivered on his promises and explained all the work completed. Could not be anymore grateful to work with both Gregg and Bryan, both top notch professionals in the RV field. Highly recommend.
Awesome place to deliver new units to
Best experience buying an RV ever! Rich, our salesman was great. RV was clean and all system checked and working like new. Thank you for being like family.I would like to add the following to my previous post. This was the best, easiest and most honest major purchase experience of my life. My purchase, for a used 31 motorhome, was made via the internet and phone from Massachusetts. We flue down on a friday at noon and were on the road with it at 4:30. Rich Klein, our saleman, is very personable and knowledgable. Jenica Ogborn, their business manager, was the same. Jeff, the technician, took two hours to show us around the rig inside and out. He explained all the workings of the motorhome and answered our many questions. The rig was spotless inside and out. They changed the oil and filter. Checked all fluids, air, water and checked that everything was in working order. We left Florida the next day and spent three days in S. Carolina. While there I decided to check on the roof. Thats when I found out that they also resealed all the joints on the roof.In closing. I would highly recommend Campers Inn of Jacksonville. They treat you like family.
My husband and I have been looking at getting a different camper now for almost 2 years. We have looked all over the country. Normally when we go and look at places, we walk out and find another camper/RV place if they tell we have to walk around with a sales person. We like to browse on our own and pick apart what we like and don’t like and also just for our enjoyment and not having someone “push for the sale”. Yesterday was different. We decided to go ahead and walk around with our RV Matchmaker Terry Boicoirt since we waited 3 weeks to check that place out. We sat down with him, told him what we were looking for, explained we were NOT looking to get one today, but in a year definitely!!! He was amazing! He spent 3 1/2 hours with us listening to our wants, needs, in and out of different campers! Not only did he help us find our midway camper, but he also showed us some great long term campers we may be interested in once I start hitting the road more with my hubby!! What a great experience Terry helped us have!! Definitely going to keep in touch with this guy to make our camping dreams come true! Thanks Terry for such a wonderful day!Brian and Rachel Workman
Drove from Texas to pick up a RV. Great experience. Friendly staff.
We arrived at Campers Inn eager to look at Class A MotorHomes. We were greeted up front by a salesperson. To say he was frustrated is an understatement. He told us they were having a show at another location and that location was sending everyone over to them and they are short staffed. We told him we understood and that must be frustrating. Then we told him we were looking for a used. Class A RV. He told us that their was no one to take us around in a cart but go ahead and take a look at the lot if we want to. My husband who had back surgery 2months ago and wears knee braces started to walk out into the lot. He then told us to head out to the highway, take a right and we should find the RVS. At this time it is 94 degrees outside, but we went ahead and walked out to what we thought was the used class A rvs only to find out that most of them were locked so we could not even poke our heads inside. We are beyond disappointed with our experience here and will not be returning. I guess we will have to spend our money somewhere else. I would think that the salesperson we spoke to would be happy they were getting customers but what we got was far from happy. He was frustrated, unhappy and should have taken the day off instead of passing along his frustration to potential buyers!
Salesman Gregg Woday was very personable and knowledgeable of the coaches we looked at. He answered all my questions and took time with us!
Took me a while to get to this so Ive had ample time to really experience Campers Inn. We bought a camper from Terry about 3 months ago and have used it twice now. In an effort to be short and sweet, here are the highlights. First and foremost I HIGHLY recommend Campers Inn and will go there in a heart beat for any future camper purchases. From the beginning to the end and past the purchase into owning it, everyone at Campers Inn has gone above and beyond in every way. They keep their word, theyre fair, theyre a pleasure to do business with, they have integrity, and they sponsor the Icemen! I mean, come on, really? That was just an added bonus. :) Thank you Campers Inn for everything. We will refer you at any opportunity!-Truly Happy Campers (ironic, eh?)The Maldonado Family
Great pricing and great experience Micheal Graham showed us the perfect RV for our little family and got it for us the same day! Could not be happier with his great manners, he answered all of our questions, and was super patient with our children! We LOVE this place!!!
Fantastic customer service! We went in to speak to the Service Manager(Bryan Witkowski) in regards to an ongoing electrical problem with our TT that we had almost from day one of our purchase from another dealer. After carefully listening to us explain the problem, Brian assured us they would be able to fix the issue. We brought our TT in on a Thursday and the next Monday we received a call letting us know the electrical problem was fixed and our TT was ready to be picked up.
Friendly/helpful staff.
We just had a wonderful experience at the Jacksonville store with David Pounds! From the moment we walked into the door he was so friendly and helpful! He helped us find the perfect trailer within our budget and didnt snub his nose at us that it was a low budget, which has happened at other RV retailers. We found the perfect trailer for our needs and the maintenance guys were so accommodating to make sure we were road ready when we left! Truly a great buying experience as we passed through town!
Fantastic not typical pushy but going above and beyond to get you what you want my husband and I have been to several several RV dealerships and Campers Inn is the most genuine trustworthy people willing to work with you
Great location with a huge assortment RVs. Staff is professional and polite and very helpful. Definitely feel like a part of the family when you roll in here!
If you’re in the Jacksonville Florida area and are looking for a travel trailer I highly recommend Campers Inn on General Ave. They have been amazing to work with from the sales(Mitch) to the finances(Rick) to the service dept. we came home with our Forest River Surveyor and are so in love with it. For us everything so far has been ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Simply the best purchase experience! I would give them 6 stars if I could. Kudos to David Pounds and Rick Ramsey for providing us with exceptional service and customer care for our first RV purchase!! We went to other dealers and they simply lied to us, promised the world and failed miserably so we backed out of the deal. Not these folks at Campers Inn - They are knowledgeable about the units they sell and help you in any way they can to make sure your purchase and service is great! I also want to mention the folks in service dept - they are also wonderful and provided us with a detailed tour of our Phoenix TRX prior to delivery and made sure we understood how to operate everything. We are extremely happy with our purchase and totally recommend them highly! Thanks again!
If I could leave zero stars I would. I can’t find where their “We Care” program exists. For customer service, they transfer you to their We Care line, but’s no one answers that phone, and they DO NOT return calls. So there is nowhere, no one to talk to about a customer service complaint. I don’t have a complaint about the quality of the RV I purchased, like most complaints on here. I have a problem with their customer service. My experience has been that they just want your money. And after they have it, you are on your own. I grew up in a time where customer service meant everything. These days, they just want your money and there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE after they get it. It would take so little to build a good customer service program. But I guess in a money hungry world, they don’t have to do anything to make the customer happy or make something right to earn a good reputation of taking care of their customers.
Everyone has been super helpful and answered every question without making you feel like youre annoying them. Very clean also! I will definitely get all my needs from them.
The moment I walked in the door, everyone was friendly and helpful. Steve showed me several floor plans and permitted me to look at what I chose to. The finance manager Rick was very flexible and worked around my schedule. Overall it was a great experience.
We had a GREAT experience. Mike W. was the salesperson who helped us. He was very knowledgeable about the various RVs, and he offered us a lot of great advice about choosing an RV that is right for us. There were NO pressure tactics which was greatly appreciated. When we left, we felt like we could make a more informed choice.

Great place and great people. I recommend.
After many months of intensive research on which RV we wanted, and from which dealer (based on reviews we had seen), we finally bought our first travel trailer this month from Campers Inn in Jacksonville. EVERYONE we dealt with was wonderful. Receptionists, sales staff, (Kim), service management and staff, (Larry and Michael and others). From negotiating a price, to instructing us on our equipment, to letting us spend the first night in their campground to check things out, they gave us a great experience. Made us comfortable in their very nice facility while we waited to have our hitch and brake controller installed. Highly recommended.
We purchased two units from this dealer in the last two years. They have been transparent with all sales issues and a pleasure to work with. Greg S. from sales was very helpful and patient while we spent three months making a decision on the right fifth wheel. Service has also been outstanding. Larry, Randy and Amy all have a sense of urgency when dealing with my trailer. They have a customer first attitude. Will always go to them first for my trailer needs.
My girlfriend and I went to three of the big names out there. The only place we didn’t get the typical “salesman’s Vibe” from was Campers Inn. John was our salesman and now he’s in the service department. Rick was our finance guy and William the sales manager that helped us in John’s absence. every single person we came into contact with was as genuine as can be. There wasn’t any pressure at all. My girls friend and I are both in commissioned sales and we know the lines and see the tricks when they happen. There wasn’t any of it. They make you feel like you’re a member of their family that’s just having a meal together. It meant a lot to us because even though we are both in sales.... we like to “buy” things. We don’t like to be ”sold“ things. Now that John is in service we got to deal with him again when we had some warranty work done. First of all... we know nothing is made perfect. Our camper is brand new and just like most things... stuff happens. We got every warranty known to man on our rig and when we dropped it off for the routine 60 day check up, our concerns and the small and large issues we were having were covered and taken care of before our next trip (less than a week). It’s the first Camper we have owned and I’ve never had to deal with any service issues on one before and so far it’s the most stress free service type appointment I’ve ever had. John and their service team kept in contact and consistently had our minds at ease with updates and assurances of getting us back out to the campsites quickly.I can’t say enough good things about this company and the way they do business. Obviously the hiring practices from this company are top notch because they’ve retained such amazing staff like John, William and Rick just to name a few.Thank you John and the rest of the crew at Campers Inn for making our buying and after purchase experiences hassle and stress free. Campers Inn truly is the outlier in the industry and if you’ve read this review to this point then you already know... I highly recommend Campers Inn!WE ARE RAVING FANS!
So I love this place! Very knowledgeable salesman, NO PRESSURE to buy anything but lots of help deciding what is important for YOU in an RV. When we find the right RV for us it will be here! Highly recommended.
I was looking for a specific toy hauler floor plan. Called to see if they had any in stock like I had done with so many other dealers. The salesman, Ken broke the news that they did not have any left in stock. He then said that if I would give him a few to check the system to see if he could track one down, hed call me back. Bout 10 minutes later, I get the call, he was able to track down 2! Theyd have to have them transported, but could get one no problem. Thank you Ken!Told him to run the numbers and get back to me with a price. Was happy with that call back, so I dropped a deposit and told them what I wanted to pay per mo. Had all this worked out over the phone and internet.Soon as my credit was approved, got a call from Ric who congratulated me and made sure we were on the same page with the numbers. Told Ric that I wanted to walk the camper before I signed anything. His response......of courseThen contacted by Ken to schedule when to come and inspect the camper and if I was satisfied, sign the papers and take it home.Met my tech, EZ, who took his time walking me through every inch of this thing. Had all the patience in the world with me, made sure I understood what he was telling me and answered all my questions. I really felt like I learned some things from this man and was very pleased to have him show me the camper. Thank you EZ!Totally satisfied with the camper, was escorted to Rics office by Ken. This has to be in the top 3 of my signing papers to finalize a deal. No bs, respected what I did and did not want. Made sure I knew what every document was before I signed. Thank you Ric!And thank you to the parts guy, man Im so sorry I forgot your name. This guy stayed after closing while I finished up paperwork so I would get some essentials I needed for the camper once I got it home.In closing, have to say this. I never once felt like anyone was just trying to make a quick sale. Felt like everyone went above and beyond. Awesome experience!
We had been very patient with this company, but there is always a limit and we have reached our limit.Bought motor home from here in late January. Also purchased the extended warranty. Slide was not working correctly and was supposed to be fixed before delivery. Took it home.. it didnt work. Took it back & it took 2 weeks to fix that. Got it back. Then the awning wouldnt go out. Took a week to get the bad motor fixed. The leveling jacks wouldnt extend when we went camping the end of May. Got an appointment for June 2nd and took it in. No one contacted us to let us know what was going on with it as we had upcoming camping reservations, so we called several times that 1st week to find out. They knew we had reservation for camping on June 18th. They told us we could pick the coach up on June 8th & said we could use it without jacks until the ordered parts got in. On June 10th, they called saying they needed to send a service guy to come to the house to take pictures and get more #s off it for the warranty. We called to talk to the warranty company and they had already approved the repairs and didnt know what else Campers Inn could need. From June 10th to June 15th, no one came out or called to let us know when someone was coming, so on June 15th we went ahead and took the motorhome into them to make it easier on them to get what they needed. When, we got there about 9:30am, and spoke with Dana, I believe the service writer. We were immediately told rudely that we would have to wait few seconds. So we went over stood by the chairs to wait. We waited about 10 minutes, she came over and was very rude and we were just trying to make it easier on them and were even willing to leave the motorhome with them again so they could do what needed to be done, but she wouldnt listen and kept striking out at us as if we were lying about the whole situation. I said maybe we needed to talk to the service manager and she said thats not going to get you further than me. Thats when my husband finally got upset and frustrated because we just wanted to let them get what they needed, and maybe he shouldnt have told her to just shut up do her job, but he did. She shouted back at my husband and he told her to just do her job. She stormed off into the office and a man came out who we believe was the service manager. He addressed my husband and said without asking what had transpired, You dont speak to my people like that. Heres your keys. Get off the property and dont come back. And we wont. And we will make sure to tell everyone we know how we were treated when literally all we wanted was to make things easier on them.
We came in today looking for a particular part that no one else has had and no one else even knew what to do for us but the campers inn service and parts people knew exactly where to send us even though they didnt have the part. They were very happy to help us out, made several phone calls for us. Great service with a smile. We really appreciate it!
So far so good. Bought a unit and there were a few glitches at first, haggling over price and other things. Did not take delivery when scheduled because certain things werent done. Management promised a certain brand of new tires and put on another brand. They honored their promise and I took delivery today. Salesman, David Pounds, was excellent from beginning to end.
Had a problem with our electric awning and dropped off last week. Fortunately, the awning was not the problem and was an easy fix. Randy in service was great to work with. He communicated with me to keep me updated. This is a second service visit to Campers Inn and both times they have exceeded my expectations. Keep up the good work!
First RV purchase and could not have gone smoother, especially since I bought sight unseen from Nashville, TN. From the 1st call to the dealership to ask about a certain model, to the thorough walk through and detailed information given to a first time RV buyer, I was extremely impressed. Everyone from sales, parts (had to buy the necessities), service (had to add some extras) and finance were very informative and went out of their way to make sure I had all the information needed and all questions answered.
On January 16, 2019, my husband picked out a camper trailer and gave a $500 deposit pending approval of financing. After they called and said financing was arranged, he went to pick up his trailer and they tried to give him a completely different trailer than he had seen, agreed to and put a deposit on. The trailer he was planning to buy was not even on the lot. He told them to return his deposit verbally while he was there, has called and emailed requesting the deposit be returned and absolutely NO response. He had to file a complaint with the BBB a couple weeks ago and still no response.
Was very unhappy with the dealership as a whole. We love the camper even though it was over priced for a used camper. The piece of mind was a joke for almost a $1000.00 that they would not take off to tell me how the camper worked and for the inspection..lol.. the 21 point inspection.. when the deal was done and the wife wanted it.. I took possession the tounge jack was stripped out wouldnt raise the camper to my truck. I priced the electric jack before hand in the shop was told one price and then like magic it jumped up 150.00 dollars because I needed it. The guy giving me my piece of mind tour didnt know jack sheets about that model..I couldnt figure out why I keep running out of lp gas..well as it turns out the refrigerator was unplugged so even when connected to shore power it was still running on gas. The seals on the slide out has to be replaced and the awning had cracks in it..the piece of mind protection only gave me the opinion that it meant that I should give them a piece of my mind... but stupid me took it home even though it was several thousand dollars overpriced...😖
Mike Waggoner was a wonderful, knowledgeable salesperson. Unfortunately, the deal they offered was about $3k over what everyone else was selling. Premium prices and they arent interested in older model trade ins. Its probably the going trend of businesses not wanting older models. However, compare your prices. Staff was very friendly....except, when camper slide wouldnt shut after allowing manager to view, no one assisted. Sat there trying to figure it out for a good, long time (embarrassed to say how long it took us) before we fixed it ourselves and left. Way to earn business? Help the customer as much as you can. Do good things and good things will come back to you. In this case, were not coming back.
Stephen and Jean BowmanYesterday, we purchased the 2001 Airstream Excella 34 at Campers Inn, Jacksonville, FL. Our salesman was Gregg Woday. Wow, are we pleased. Gregg did a great job assisting us. He has been camping all his life. Gregg listened carefully as we shared our dreams, priorities, and concerns. If he did not know the answer to a question, he got the answer. We found Gregg to be honest, genuinely friendly, patient, and professional. Gregg and other employees did a great job. The delivery was a great experience. Every feature was patiently explained and demonstrated. Looking forward to many happy trails :) .
Called in for a quote on a under mounted propane tank, they came back with a Manchester 20 gallon for 860$. When I asked what was making that price 500$ more than the one at Home Depot he asked what was the manufacturer, flame King and what gauge? he said never heard of them, then as he was hanging he snarky said hope it fits. LoL, IMO stay away from them
My wife and I recently decided to visit Campers Inn of Jacksonville due to the amazing reviews online. We met with Paul who was one of the nicest and easiest salesmen to work with. He took the time to show us everything that we wanted to see and answered all of our questions while not trying to push us into a decision regarding our trade. At the end of the day we choose an RV that met all of our needs and we couldn’t be happier!
They were very friendly and made us very happy with our purchase of a used fifth wheel.. UNTIL WE PAID. They did a walk through with us and said they would fix some minor issues... they didnt fix any of them, nor did they install the extras we purchased and they said would be installed. We made it clear that we were not experienced RV owners. They said they would deliver and set it up at no charge, instead they dropped it off and left, leaving us completely helpless to move it again so it reached the power and sewer outlets and forcing us to buy expensive extension cords and hoses. It is also not leveled so it leans. We ordered the extension hose from them and it was never delivered. When we called, it was never actually ordered for us.We bought an extended warranty and the finance manager told us that we should add the mobile coverage so that since we were not going to be moving the RV, they would come to us. That is not really true, they will come tow it some where for repairs, they wont come fix it, even though the water drain ruptured one week from our purchase and now we cant have running water. In short, our experience has been a nightmare. They have stopped returning calls and we have a RV that leans, with no water and NO TOILET. Thanks Campers Inn!
This is a response to Roz Clark review 5 months ago. Roz Clark was lied to by Richard Ramsey, he was still working for Campers Inn of Jacksonville Fl. I personally had dealings with him between March 1st & March 15th 2020. Plus had conversations with Jon Benfield, in same time frame March 1st thru March 15th 2020. Had whole set of many problems with this dealership. Ill get into that later in another review. I WOULD ALSO GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR OR LESS!!!
Went to look at class A, Kim our salesperson was excellent. Knowledgeable and not pushy. Bruce in service was able to answer all the mechanical questions. Overall excellent experience. Would give 5 stars if Id had a repair done .
We stopped by there today.could not get a salesperson to help us.after asking two different people for help.no one would come out. And no we did not go in.with 90° weTjer 2 kids amd dog in truck we waited out side by ourselves.thats ok there are more dealers down the road
Bought my camper there and get it serviced there. Good folks who try to make you happy in your investment so youll be a happy camper.
Our sales rep Kim was awesome. We chose to save a Monaco diesel pusher from the wholesaler but not before we hemmed and hawed for weeks before deciding. Literally one day to the next we were yes, no, yes, no and Kim and sales manager Greg were patient the entire way. We are happy with our purchase and cant wait to complete our restoration. If you want a laid back, no hassle, chilled out experience, make sure you contact Kim at Campers Inn, Jacksonville.
Love this place The salesman know how to do there job and make you feel at home .I think I would feel right at home with any of there salesman they are just that good.
The best RV place so far! (Sales.) Lots of info, good test drive, little pressure. Well drive the 6 hrs back to get the RV we want from them.
David Pounds went above and beyond to make the purchase of our motorhome a great experience! If you are in the market for a camper or RV you need to go see David Pounds at Campers Inn. Thanks David for all your help!
We went there on Saturday and our salesman David was so nice he answered all of our questions spent most of the day with us showed us exactly what we were looking for. So when you go to campers inn ask for David you will not be disappointed he is an asset to campers inn family
