Very unique and quaint shop. It smells great when you walk in with over 90 scents to try to might think over powering but its not. The store is very clean and its a perfect set up to facilitate candle making for a group or a single walk in. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their craft. Only downside is I wish the deals we a little better I didnt really want to make 4 candles so buy 3 get 1 free was a little over the top for me, but might be nice for a group.

Wick Candle Bar is such a cool place to check out and a great place for a date. They literally have over 90 scented candles you can buy. The best part, you can create your own candle! The process for making the candle is fun. From start to finish, total time was under a hour. You smell the candles and base off what you like, you get to create your own scent and pick a jar to put everything in. The staff was super friendly and made the time enjoyable.

A great experience. I never thought that this would have been so much fun. My wife and I took our twin 13yo boys and Mother in law, all had a good time.

Hands down it was the best experience I had with making my own candle with the my amazing amgias. Good vibes only and the staff was amazing. Becka was super sweet, friendly and wonderful personality. Great experience! Not much of a candle person like my husband, but I am a huge fan now! So many options, but the staff was great at making to enjoyable, easy, and informative. Adefinite fun experience to have with friends and family. Go on a Monday to have a more time to explore with less crowds.

Went last Saturday for the first time and had so much fun creating my customized scented candle! Jessica was very helpful and friendly, and explained the whole process thoroughly and made some great suggestions! I will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience! It was hard for me to imagine what the final scent would be but as they say, follow your nose and you will be very much surprised. The final scent of our candles smelled amazing! I will definitely be visiting again.

This place is fantastic but its a shame they only have business-type hours where I think of them more as a leisure/outing kind of place. I really want to plan a pouring here but they close before anyone would have time to get off of work and get ready. If they were open later they would probably get so much more business! 5 stars if they were open later in the evenings (maybe even just for weekends?)

We really enjoyed coming here. It was our first time and the staff was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. They were helpful in helping us narrow down a good mix for what scents we liked that would compliment each other well. We will definitely come back and do this again.

This was such a fun experience! The staff explains the process and helps make sure you get a scent you love! You can also make things other than candles, which is nice if you prefer something else.

Really enjoyed going here with my daughters and granddaughters last December when they came in from out of town. A nice bonding experience and we all enjoyed our individual candle scents. I haven’t been able to see them since then. The memory we shared that day has helped sustain me through this year. I then took another Daughter a few months later to share the experience. She loved it also.

We stopped in to find out exactly what a candle bar is, thinking we might buy a candle. But after smelling all of the wonderful scents they had, we decided to stay & design our own signature scents. We opted to make wax melt bars instead of candles. The staff was helpful every step of the way. They guided us through the process of narrowing down our favorite notes and combining them to create what we think are THE Best smelling wax melts! After you blend your own oils, they make your bars while you decorate your own sticker labels. It was such a fun time, we all enjoyed ourselves. I think it’s the new alternative to paint nights

A simple yet fun experience. It took about 30 min to choose scents and make a candle, wax melts and body scrub. If you make a candle you have to wait until it cools. In the meantime, there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the local area to make the time go by.

Love this place! Such a wonderful idea!!! Beautiful space that smells divine and I wish I had more time to make a candle while I was there. However, I am in town just today from San Diego, ca and wanted to grab these candles as a parting gift. I love hand poured candles. Thankfully they had gift sets.Wick seemed like an amazing place to have a wedding, bachelorette, or birthday party. The tables were ready to serve groups of, what looked like, up to 15-20. Family fun time! You can pour your own custom candle and make your own scent blend. Then you take it home and use whenever you want. It will take you right back to the happy candle making memory every time you burn your candle at home. Love love love!

Really fun! We took some extended family here with us and everyone had a blast making their own scents. Those scents then get combined with wax and turned into a candle.The people who run it are so friendly. Its hard not to have an enjoyable time doing this.Lots of fun and you go home with a high quality candle!

We LOVE Wick! I have taken my team, my husband and son, my friends, and my grandmother and have made just about everything they offer! My fave are the candles and the sprays. The spray smell lasts for a long time after use! It’s bright, clean, and minimal. You can also buy candles right off the shelf or make a body spray! Though it doesn’t take toooo much time, it’s perfect for a whole evening out. Get creative and make candles, visit other local businesses in San Marco and then go back for your finished product!San Marco is a perfect location for this and they have parking! 😍

An awesome experience that I was able to share with my dog and friends. The owner/staff are beyond amazing! I created a diffuser my first time in and came back a week later to create some candles, while we were in San Marco. The shop is super close to restaurants/bars to hang out at while your candle gets set. This is such a great addition to the San Marco and Jacksonville area!

WOW, JUST WOW!!! Wick: A Candle Bar, is a great unique and intimate experience in Jacksonville; there is nothing like it. When you first step in you are greeted by a warm and inviting employee that will help you through the steps of creating your candle, oil, soap, scrub, etc...The first step in making your creation at Wick involves exploring all the candle/oil scents that they have at the store this is an upward of 50+ scents. They will give you a notepad to jot down your most favorite scents to be later used to be mixed together to make your final product. The second step is choosing how you would like your creation packaged: oil, candle jar, spray, etc... The final step is to take your jar and suggestions to the candle bar where your barista will assist you in mixing your perfect blend. Our barista Pam, helped us out so much assisting us through the whole process - it was informative, engaging, and a fun experience. Pam helped my girlfriend and I pick and choose the perfect mixture of scents from our recommended list. Pam’s knowledge and suggestions truly created a candle unique to my preference; one that could not be bought in any big box candle store. Once you mix your perfect blend of oils, you will pour it into the wax - and viola, after letting the wax take its candle form, you have your candle.It is important to highlight that the candles that you make at Wick do not include unnecessary coloring and toxic chemicals that are often found in big brand candles. Their candles are of the most pure quality that you could get - resulting in a clean and smooth burn.Wick is a great place for date night and is kid friendly. It truly is a unique experience different from anything Jax has to offer. I’m glad I found this place because I Love it so much. Thank you!!

Great experience! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have so many scents to chose from and some that aren’t even on the wall so be sure to ask if you can’t find exactly what you want. I mixed Morning Dew, Champagne, and Brown Sugar to give a sweet clean scent :). Would definitely recommend!
