I called for a quote and Dan came out the following day. I went to the store and met with John to select my carpet. The selection of carpet and pricing was amazing and I selected what I wanted in no time. Within 2 weeks my carpet was installed by two professional carpet layers that did a fantastic job. KUDOS to the entire team at Mercury! The customer service was exceptional and I would recommend them to everyone!

Great Service! We contracted Mercury to re-due our build stair treads that were done by DS Ware and were horribly done! Mercury replaced the stairs and installed a beautiful runner we selected to complement the new stairs. Dan was quick with responding to our quote and providing us different options. Their options in the store for flooring are great. Even when we found a few minor touch-ups, Dan was super-responsive. If youre looking for a reliable business that hires their own workers (not subs), that care about their workmanship and reputation...dont go with one of these fly by night contractors. Mercury has been in business for a long time and we look forward to working with them on our next project.

I cannot say enough good things about Dan Tristin and Mercury Flooring! To start, this long established business shocked me with the amount of selection they had. Dan however, really made this so easy and a reminder of why to shop local. He was quick to respond to multiple quotes asked for, and gave a free estimate at my home while helping to educate me and realize things I would not have known on my own. His advice really helped us understand self installation vs hiring out, which we ended up doing through Mercury. We bought laminate planks made to look like tile, and it came together great in our kitchen! They had 10x the options of other stores for this type of material we needed. In additional to all of this, they were so generous in allowing us to take home multiple samples to make our decision and never made us feel like a burden with our questions. Truly, they went above and beyond and were one of our best vendors in our kitchen remodel. We are so thankful we found them and highly recommend you using them, too!

We did consults via zoom and they suggested colors that would compliment our home, since they had been in the home in person and we hadnt yet. We had previously used Mercury Carpet to replace the flooring in the Master Bath for a renovation (necessitated by a plumbing leak requiring replacing some of the subflooring). Cristal was very helpful throughout the process helping us decide on the best type of flooring and making suggestions for transitions and trim in the room. We were so pleased with this work that when we decided to replace the carpet in the Master Bedroom with bamboo flooring, we again called Cristal. She again was very helpful in matching the new flooring to the existing flooring in the central part of the house and making suggestions for orientation of the new floor and managing the transition to the existing hall flooring and bathroom flooring. The work proceeded quickly and the new floor looks beautiful. Price and selection were great for both floors, communication was good to handle the inevitable questions that arose when performing the work, and the results are wonderful. The workers were prompt and kept us informed of the schedule. We will not hesitate to contact Mercury for the next job or to recommend them to others needing floor work.

My husband and I were getting estimates from different companies about purchasing and installing a new floor in our living, dining room, kitchen and the hallways of our split-level home. We were going to do the work ourselves, but we are in our 70’s and realized it would be very stressful for us to try to remove our existing floating floor, carpets and furniture. The other companies gave us estimates that cost thousands of dollars just for the prep work. Cristal Devenburg worked out a stress free plan with her contractors to do all the prep work at a reasonable cost. All we had to do was put away things on top of the furniture and move things that weren’t furniture off the floor that gave us peace that you can’t put a price on.From the time Cristal walked into the showroom to meet with me to look at some vinyl plank floor samples I met someone who cares about people, has integrity, and is very sensitive to the customer and their needs. She was speaking to me from a pure heart and never tried to pressure me about color, pricing, or style to make a sale. Cristal’s mind is focused on what the customer needs and she was so patient to give me time to process what I wanted (because sometimes I can be vary indecisive); but she didn’t rush me to try to make a decision. She worked very hard to pull out the samples that I was interested in (which were heavy) and lay them on the floor for me to look at and compare the colors. Then through a process of elimination, she took away what I told her I did not like and made my selection easy. Cristal was great at communicating with us and keeping us posted throughout the process from ordering to the finish of our new floors. We were able to add our bedrooms to this project and our whole house has new floors!The contractors that sent where as pleasant as she was and very professional yet enjoyable to have around. In the past we have had workers that acted like they hated their job, were rude, late for work, on the phone with their girlfriend several times a day, taking several breaks to smoke cigarettes and even leaving the work project without telling us when they were coming back. But these contractors that Cristal sent to us were a father (Robert) and his adult son (Matthew). They were courteous, polite, respectful, listened to our questions and answered them. They were sensitive to our needs and told us what rooms they were working on and when they had to leave for lunch. They worked hard and focused on their work and with good attitudes they did an excellent job! Cristal and these contractors went above and beyond all that we could have thought to ask or think. We were blessed when they came in and all through the process to have people in our home who cared about the customer, honored their company, and were skilled in understanding and wisdom towards their craft. Fantastic customer service! Always available to answer any questions. We had our entire flooring replaced on the first floor and staircase-They removed old wood and tile floors with as little mess as possible. The demo crew was very polite and efficient as well as the install crew. We love our floors and we will be back as repeat customers-Plan on redoing some floors upstairs in the future.

They were able to narrow down my search by continuing to ask me questions concerning flooring type, look, wear, etc.Once all this was completed, they were able to ship me 3 samples to look at and actually put in my office area to make sure I liked the way it looked with my lighting.Once my selection was made, my quote came quickly and we agreed on an install date. The installers arrived when promised and did an excellent job. I did have a couple of areas that popped up but the installers went out of their way to return and make sure everything was fixed properly and to my liking.I would highly recommend this company. Dan at Mercury Carpet and Flooring is fantastic!!! I had read lots of reviews as I wanted the best company in town to remove and install my new tile floor and I found the best company in town in Mercury Carpet and Flooring! As soon as we arrived at the store we met Dan and he was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We were unsure of when we were going to be closing on our house but Dan was patient and made sure we had the tile we loved when we needed it. During the tile removal process one of the sink pipes broke, but Dan communicated this to me extremely quickly and I was able to get it fixed the next day and Dan took care of the cost. Dan really wants his customers to be very happy and he definitely takes care of them. Tudor and his team came to install the tile at our house and they did a fantastic job, especially as the floor was very uneven. After Tudor was finished with the job we noticed that the corner of one of the tiles had a small crack so Dan and Tudor worked together and Tudor came back to fix it in a very timely manner, even though he was working on another project and again without charge. Everyone that comes into my home comments on the floor and how fantastic it looks and we could not be happier. We recommend Mercury Carpet and Flooring to all of our friends as Dan and Tudor did an unbelievably great job. When you are paying a considerable amount of money for a job to be done it is very important to have the right team involved and I honestly think that Mercury Carpet are the best tiling company in the area!! Smooth operation. Pleasant crew. Completed on time, we were kept in the loop, the furniture was back right where it started, every scrap cleaned up and the work in five rooms was split in a way we could still live in the house. Boxing up and finding place for five rooms of breakables/books took some effort for us, but mainly we just sat back and relaxed.

We worked with Michael and Cristal at Mercury Carpet and Flooring to have three rooms done in engineered wood and four rooms carpeted. Hooper and his crew did an excellent job laying the hardwood floors. There was a lot of unacceptable wood flooring in the shipment but Mercury ordered more wood at no additional charge. Eddie and his crew installed the carpet and did a great job. Everyone at Mercury Carpets could not have been friendlier or more professional throughout this project.

I had just left one of the large home improvement stores disappointed in the selection of in stock carpet. Stopped in here and was very pleased with the amount of remnants they had. I was looking to finish a small job and needed a small quantity of carpet. I was very satisfied with the knowledge of my salesman and left a few minutes later with good quality carpet at a fantastic price.

I received estimates from several flooring places around Jacksonville and Mercury was by far the most helpful, friendly and had a great selection. In the end I felt confident with trusting Mercury flooring to do a quality job with replacing all of our floors in our home. We chose Luxury Vinyl, tile and carpet and the quality of the workmanship was excellent on all 3 installations. From George and Dan in the store to James and his team, all were efficient, friendly and all concerns and slight changes were immediately completed to our satisfaction. Since all of our flooring was replaced, hopefully we wont need flooring any time soon but if we did we would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them to anyone needing new floors.

Mercury was there from start to finish.They have a wide range of wood, carpet, and alternative flooring options at their showroom.The price is good especially considering the precision and service provided.Cristal, who is in sales and operations was a BIG reason why I give this company and the experience a 5-STAR rating. She was wonderful to work with and genuinely cared about our home remodel project.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my new carpet and flooring. The installation was seamless from start to finish. Eddie and his crew were extremely skillful and efficient. My carpet was installed in a few short hours. My 4 year old son wants to sleep on the floor; the carpet is so comfortable! James Hooper and his crew were extremely professional, meticulous and very detail orientated - the finished product is a work of art! They were a pleasure to work with. We would like to thank John Naman for his patience (answering all of our questions) and many kindnesses (going out of his way to drop off a mop kit ).

We are so impressed with Mercury Carpet & Flooring! Cristal was so helpful with helping us choose the best flooring for our daughter’s playroom. She came to our house for an estimate and suggested some options for flooring type and color. When we came into their very nice showroom, she picked out a few options that were perfect for what we were looking for. She was also very accommodating for our wild 1.5 year old with juice and crayons to keep her occupied. The installation team was also incredible- very friendly and finished the job in 1 day. The luxury vinyl plank (LVP) we chose is perfect for what we need, looks great, and a great price. Our floors look great and we definitely recommend Mercury Carpets!

Received a quote from another company and thought I would call Mercury to get a second quote. I found them just by doing a google search and reading others reviews. Without going into numbers Mercurys quote was much better and the total balance was not due up front. That was huge for us since we were purchasing a home and didnt want to add to all of the costs on our project (which was not small). The representative (Dan) was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was also quite responsive and patient with us. The results were awesome and we are more than satisfied. The actual removal of old floor and installation of new tile was extremely efficient and timely. We had a deadline the work needed to be completed by and they beat the deadline by a few days. The crew performing the work at the house were also very polite and courteous. Wed use again.

We just used Mercury Carpeting to install more than 1600 square feet of carpeting in our home. John is simply an awesome honorable man to work with who genuinely cares about his profession. Eddie and his crew did an admirable job installing the carpeting. Within two weeks of the carpet installation we commissioned Mercury to tile our 200 square foot lania. Their installer, Tudor, worked tirelessly, often well past sunset, to complete the job. The concrete on our patio was extremely uneven and Tudor well-exceeded our expectations. The job required substantially more mortar to compensate for the floor but Mercury did not charge us a single penny more. My wife and I could not be more pleased with Mercury. If you are in the midst of the boggling process of researching carpet, save yourself time and effort and go see the folks at Mercury. I am confident you will not be disappointed.

Mercurys two (2) installers were expert craftsmen and were long term Mercury employees with a combined forty years of experience. There were personable, professional and could not do enough for us as customers including moving our furniture and catering to our every needs. The carpet installation was flawless and the installers were the best workmen we have ever had the opportunity to work with over the years. As consumers, we are the most particular about choosing companies to work with, and were very fortunate to have chosen Mercury.

Knowledgeable people. When an installation problem arose, they worked with me and changed the schedule. They even loaned me a fan to help dry the floor quicker. My vinyl plank flooring is gorgeous and has a lifetime warranty. I love my luxury vinyl tile floor in the kitchen. It is soft to stand on.

We used this company when remodeling our bathroom to acquire tiled. I did NOT feel pressured to decide sooner than I was ready, I looked at many options, asked many questions and NEVER felt dismissed. All my questions were answered and they did an excellent job of explaining when things would happen, what workers would do the install, etc. I told them I enjoyed the whole process of working with them so much I wish I could rip up the rest of my inherited flooring in my home and re-do it using them. You will not be disappointed.

Can’t say enough good things about John, Mercury Carpet, and Tudor (the tile installer) and Chester, James, and Mike the carpet installation team. John was extremely knowledgeable, totally honest (we had one issue beyond anyone’s control and John informed me immediately and did not play games), and the quality of the installation was a strong “A”. Also, all installers were polite, respectful to both me and our home, arrived timely, and cleaned up after the installation was completed. I’ve owned 8 homesteads, installed new floor coverings in all, and these guys are the real deal. Do YOURSELF a favor and check them out before purchasing floor coverings. Rick in Jacksonville.
