I just really like Roses. The it has a variety of merchandise at reasonable prices. They have a senior discount day & the personal are polite & helpful.

Love the prices and found things I needed around the house . Plastic container sets were both under $5 plus tax and after multiple tries at different stores to find a drain plug that would not let the water leak out I found the exact one for our sink.

Ive always had a great time at this place. Employees are sweet, customers are great . If I have any difficulty, someone was always there to help me no matter what my attitude is . Great store, wonderful people.

Ample parking and a great selection of products, Cant beat the prices and you also have to say something about at the employs when you leave a package behind and they hold it for you and put your name on it so that you can come back and pick it up another day wow thank you very much ladies bless you all..

After waiting 45mins in line. No notices posted anywhere in the store. I was finally being checked out. To learn it was card only. In America cash is legal tender! Then I ask could I sit my items ($60 worth) to the side and go get my card and was told NO in a rude manner by management and cashier. Never again will I shop there. Totally unacceptable. Really will not except cash!

I have to keep myself away from this store for the simple fact that I always find a great deal! I love seeing what shoes come in me and my daughter. Lots of toys to choose from. Nice electronics. Youll always find something you will love!

I always can find a deal in Roses. Roses used to be one of the great department stores and has been around longer than me. I am starting to see some of these older gems close and I feel loss in my heart. Things change and life keeps moving forward. I just hope this Roses will stick around for a while.

My new favorite discount store!!!A few steps above Dollar General but better prices than Big Lots. I always find what I am looking for here and always cheaper prices than elsewhere.Example: Redecorated my kitchen for UNDER $125. That included two rugs (2×3 & 5×7), 5 sets curtains, 4 rods, 2 dish towel sets, and a set of glasses, oh and a full size decorative wall clock.Ladies at this store are always friendly and helpful ❤

Just left this store for the last time, the rudeness is unbearable to me anymore. They constantly treat people like dirt due to it being a discount store. No manners and speak to people like they’re not worthy of a smile or decent customer service. It’s not everyone but definitely 80% of this store. Which gives me more than enough motivation to not shop here and tell others the same! Signed a very unsatisfied customer for the last time!

Might have been nice to list on google or their website that the store is temporarily closed. No where on sign does it state reopening date and no one answers the phone when you call nor is there an answering machine. I walked all the way here for nothing

They have a lot of items to choose from but the store is hard to navigate as there are pallets and boxes everywhere. The toy section is especially hard to get through if there happens to be anyone else in that section because there isnt much space to move! Its not worth the hassle. My mom loves it here because she gets nice things for great prices, but I cant bring my son in because he grabs things off the shelves because its so packed with stuff.

I love roses! They have amazing stuff for Greeley great cheaper prices but the stuff isnt cheap I bought in my son so many clothes because hes at that age where he gets them dirty so fast and I can buy him so many cute outfits there without breaking my budget I can also get myself some cute shorts or pants or maybe like a pair of shoes and they just have all types of really awesome adorable and amazing household decor and different household products that I love! Also they are really beautiful furniture. Everything that is my style but everyone has a different style and I really love a lot of their stuff and that the prices are so great and the staff is always so helpful and so sweet especially the cashiers!

Cashiers will keep some of your merchandise if you have a lot of bags and wont replace it even with your receipt!! Ill never shop there again or my family.

The store is cluttered and dated (old). They have some great prices on reasonable items. I do not buy electronics there because a lot of the items are refurbished and have no factory warranty! The store needs to be refreshed and they need help (employees)

I forgot how great Roses was. I found everything I went in for and a few things I didnt know I needed. Great store.

I just left there with nothing. Usually never happens. I brought my selections from the expectedly picked over Christmas items to the register. I asked the young lady if the items were ringing up at 75% off. She said yes, she thought so. I said 75% off $8 was not $3. She brought over a manager who questioned my request in an irritated fashion. One item clearly A Christmas thing, she deemed not so. At that point, with all the bad feelings in the air, I said that I really didnt need anything, thanked them and left. They yelled sarcasticallyyoure welcome after me and I said obviously not. I spend money in this store all the time because a dollar goes a long way. I overlook the lack of cleanliness and unsavory looking workers. I wont be back anytime soon.

One star for the lady manager. I witnessed her putting down her employee for running out of change. I felt uneasy and embarrassed for the hard working employee. You can’t speak to people like that especially in front of customers. I wanted to give the lady a hug or something. That manager needs retraining.

Beautiful and unique clothing, shoes, accessories and home decor at cheap prices. The associates are always friendly and wave when I walk in. The atmosphere is soothing. I shop here often!

This is a very dated store. You can sometimes find alright deals here. They tend to sell harder to find goods from the 70s and 80s eras. For this reason,, this place is popular with seniors. The public restrooms are down a narrow hallway near the front doors, and the actual restrooms are tiny, cramped, and would be a nightmare for someone in a wheelchair. Not to mention, the restrooms are quite dirty, and always stink! Even for public restroom standards. The whole store is very old in appearance. However, if you are looking for harder to find Goods that are not at all like modern stuff, this may be the place you are looking for. They also tend to have a wide selection of older style low-tech toys. Especially around the holidays.

Excellent prices and a huge store. You van find just about anything here you will need, but it will not be name brand. This store can keep its pricing low because you are no longer paying for the brand....

This store has bargains from groceries to pet products... kinda like a treasure hunt when shopping for clothing sometimes too much stuff packed on racks. This store could use a good cleaning & more staff !!!

This store reminds me of the old Woolworths or J.J. Newberry stores that I would go to as a kid. The prices are great and the staff is very helpful. I especially like the fact that they carry womens dresses which many places do not lately. They carry everything from pet care to home care to clothing.

Great place to get great deals. Bought two pair of dress pants and three dress shirts for under $20.

Love the sales, just wish they had more registers open and a sign saying they cash people out at customer service instead of people having to guess or ask, but if anyone wonders, they do cash out and do returns at the customer service representative. Polite workers there as well!!

I love this store. They have lay a way and a huge selection. Its like if Wal-Mart had a baby with a dollar store and that baby was raised by its grandma with love and enough spankins that it knows how to act.

Ive been going to roses for a very long time ever since I was little . I love going to roses and walking around there are things they have that you cant find in any of the store prices are excellent customer service is great once you visit the store it will speak for itself.

You can find some good prices, but the store needs to work on merchandising, since the store isnt organized. Also, it should be cleaner.

Terrible! No holiday spirit! I was the only customer in line. Another cashier opened and yelled out 5 open. I wasnt moving because I was next and wanted to wait. The cashier told me in a nasty kinda way, go to 5 miss, its open. It wasnt suggested, I was told! I was at register 2 and was told to go to 5 when there was no wait or line. Lets just say that if Im 45 mins from home Ill skip this Jacksonville Roses store and keep my money to spend at the Roses near me in Kinston. Much friendlier folks and a less junky store.

They should start selling better Urban wear clothes for Big men.

Its a bargain store they have decent stuff depending on what u r looking for. The staff on the other hand is terrible customer service u can get. They act like they r forced to work there. But u get what u paid for. !! And staff including the store manager will treat u like ur r bothering them instead of paying there salary to work there. If they have no customer they would b no Roses, just an empty lot and unemployed workers. 😳 They need to remember retail is going away the best stores have closed down poor cs. Amazon is taking over online shopping is number one now. beware Roses u mayb on the list for disappearing, as every other retail with poor Customer service. 👋
