Dr. Powell is amazing! There is no other doctor that I trust with my vision. He is so personable and caring. Also, Jason, the person that helped me with my glasses is wonderful. I will continue to go see this group for the rest of my life. I highly recommend them!

I have been seeing Dr. Powell for many years and he as always is incredibly professional and thorough. Today for the first time in a long time, I went through the process of selecting frames and lenses for glasses. I wear contacts daily but wanted a back up pair. I will update this review with the name of the technician that helped me, but I can tell you she was amazing! I had several questions before and during the selection process and she was great at explaining but most important, very patient and didn’t make me feel I was bothering her. That happens so much in customer service these days and it was great to find somebody so skilled and pleasant! Thank you so much!

I called and made and appointment for my 2 kids to have we exams. I also made appointment or so I thought to get my lenses replaced with the intentions of them being complete by the time my kids were done with their appointments. However, when I get here I’m informed after I asked about my lenses getting fixed that the person who is scheduled for today does not come in until 11 which really inconvenienced me. When I informed them of who I spoke with and what I was told I was completely dismissed.

The entire team is great. From check in to check out they are so polite and you can feel they care about helping others. Dr. Powell is amazing. He is so thorough in his exam and very proactive in his patients eye care. Its also great to have things explained in a way that a regular person can understand. Eye health is important. Im glad to of found this place. Thank you guys!

Everything was perfect. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in and that makes your visit really comfortable. This was my first visit with Dr Powell and he went over everything with me with what I was experiencing with my eyes - especially the left one with sight being so blurry. Now I know and he explained plan for treatment and updated my prescription! So I feel real good!

I love this place! This is my second year with them and I am always happy with Dr. James Powell’s eye exams. He goes above and beyond to check for eye health and he gets my prescription perfect every time. Dr. James and his staff are so friendly, funny, professional and helpful. Plus, they accept my insurance which is one that many providers don’t take or like to deal with. I also forgot to add my one year warranty the day I got my glasses and they are going to let me purchase it a week after I got my glasses when I get paid again. They even sent a link for me to pay for it in a text, making it super easy! That’s really helpful during this pandemic when I’m trying to minimize going out with my child or in general. They also cleaned every single piece of equipment that was used to check my eyes that touched my face. I know they cleaned these before the pandemic, but now they do it right in front of you to really give you peace of mind knowing everything is clean. They clean all frames after each guest has tried them on, and require everyone to wear masks. Go with these folks, you won’t regret it!

Literally the most TRANSPARENT doctor’s visit I’ve ever had. They itemized my bill and were very upfront about each and every cost. They worked with me and my insurance, which is a little confusing and I had an amazing experience. Definitely visit them if you want an easy-going experience with no surprises.

This place is AMAZING!!! First they opened on the Sunday before New Years to accommodate people like me who waited until the last minute to use my vision benefits. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in the Chic-Fil-A or Publix of optometrist offices. People looked up from their desks to greet us, when I was handed my paperwork, they went over the potential cost of the visit up front based on my insurance. Both of my daughters said Dr. Powell made them feel comfortable and explained things to them in a way they understood. He listened to my concerns and gave me great options. The selection of glasses is phenomenal and reasonably priced. And I could see that they take all of the necessary Covid precautions, which was why I waited so long to go to the optometrist. Every question I had was answered, and I honestly felt they cared more about my eye health, than just getting me in and out for my insurance benefits. My pickiest kid said, we found our new optometrist!

I purchased an annual supply of contacts which costed nearly six hundred dollars. She informed me that I qualified for a Acuvue rebate, which saved me hundreds! My husband lost his glasses at the beach at Jekyll. We called vision works first. They were no help at all. We then called Vision Today. They started working on my husband’s prescription as soon as we called and they were ready by the time we drove there. And at a great price.
