We were planning a baby shower with a surf theme and they nailed it beautifully! The cake was absolutely delicious! We also had various cupcakes made too!

So incredibly disappointed by this location....Update: 4/12/21I was contacted by their regional manager and he made everything right and then some! He went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied: he had the cake completely remade and done by their head decorator, he offered me a full refund and had the cake delivered to my house. His actions completely changed my experience for the better and my mom and I couldnt be happier with our cake! Ive attached the new image of the cake and pictures of the sweet card and cupcakes they included with delivery.

LOVE this cake shop. I always get excited when work clients bring some cupcakes in for sharing and I usually go get one (or four) whenever Im in town center. Recently they did my wedding cake and they did a marvelous job. The staff was super friendly and helpful and walked me through the whole process. They were also very accommodating when I had to change the design when I didnt get enough flowers. Delivery was punctual and everything showed up looking perfect, and tasted even better. All my guests loved it (most of the were from out of town and had never had sweet by holly before). I cannot say enough good things about this place, you just have to try it and all of their many many delicious choices.

Changed their mini Mondays to dozen only. A person with a household of just one cannot partake of this deal. Ill find another bakery thats BETTER

Love Sweet by Holly! I got my friends shower cake, my own shower cake, and wedding cake from here. Their cakes are so delicious and there are so many flavor options. They also make everything beautiful and I was so pleased with all my speciality cakes I have ordered from them. I’ve also had people tell me their cake is the best they’ve ever had at the events I had their cakes at! My shower and wedding cake were also ordered during COVID and they were so flexible and accommodating regarding our tasting and pick up/delivery times of the cake and their staff is always very nice.

I have loved Sweet By Holly cupcakes since I went to college at UNF from 2011-2015. I had never tried a cake before so for my birthday this year, my roommate got me a Sweet By Holly cake. It was Boston Cream flavored inside. The design of the cake was per request and I believe was executed well. Would highly recommend! 👍🏼

Mini cupcakes!! These babies are adorable and the perfect size for two people to taste! The dulce de leche cupcake and coffee bean were so moist! It was our favorite! We loved them all.

Their gluten free cupcakes are the BEST cupcakes I have had in my entire life. The cake and icing were so moist and the same goes for the regular gluten cupcakes as well according to my husband. They also keep all of their gluten free cupcakes completely separate from regular items.

If you love cupcakes, then give Sweet By Holly a try. I personally recommend the High Hat. This is a chocolate cupcake, with a large dollop of butter cream on top, that is then dipped in chocolate. You cant go wrong with that! I also love the White Cap and the Mississippi Mud Slide. Sweet offers two sizes of cup cakes, the traditional standard sized cupcakes (they actually seem larger than regular cupcakes to me), and mini cupcakes in case you just have craving for a little something sweet. I havent tried it yet, but Sweet also offers a variety of frozen yogurts. Next time you are in the town center and want something sweet, give this place a try.

Horrible cake!!!I ordered one week in advance so they have enough time to make it! I also provided a picture of a cake so it is easier for them to visualize the design. I went to pickup today and i was surprised!!It seemed like they rushed in making it. Finger prints everywhere on the cake and the firetruck 3d object on it looked like an egg.! They didn’t even have a suitable box to put the cake in it. And for reference I ordered the smallest size!I spent $116 on a simple cake and of course they refunded me back because the messy and horrible design was pretty obvious! I am so sorry that I ordered from them! I went to publix and ordered another cake! Much bigger and better design for $33!Nothing was professional about them! Very disappointed!

Sweet by Holly has some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. The cupcakes are dense, moist and super tasty! There are plenty of options to choose from and there are even gluten free cupcakes, too. We order from Sweet by Holly at work each time someone has a birthday and they are definitely a crowd favorite. Shes a new mom and STRESSED! I knew nothing about the area or what I could do for her but found the sweet by holly page. Sweet By Holly did a 3 layer cake for my wedding. Each layer was a different flavor with a beautiful cream cheese icing. They also did a variety of cupcakes. Guests have been raving about both the cake and cupcakes. They were so flavorful and pretty. Key lime was my favorite! The price was completely reasonable in comparison to the other places we checked out. They were actually far cheaper than Publix for what we wanted. They also delivered and set the sweets up for a small fee which was very helpful. I will definitely be a return customer for future parties and showers.

I love cupcakes. Tried this place two months ago and loved it. I ordered like 8 mini cupcakes 🤣🤦‍♀️. Finally got back there tonight. Went in for 4 mini cupcakes. The young sales clerk said “if you buy 6 minis, I’ll throw in a dozen mini Halloween cupcakes.” Uh yes, yes I’ll do that.

We came to them two months ago for our wedding cake. We did the whole free couples samples with pictures, and even picked out our cake, design, flavors, amount of people, and price as the employee wrote it down on their fancy paper. But they told us to come back a few weeks before the event. Without even asking for a deposit. So we came back two months later, and they apparently threw out our paper work claiming that they dont keeping pending paper work. And informed us that they dont do the colors, design, and flavors that we discussed two months ago, and rose the price. Our wedding is in two weeks. And in just two months theyre saying the complete opposite of what they told us then. With no call, mention, or warning at all. Even if they thought we were a fake couple. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.Update: We decided to go back Saturday morning to see what the deal was, and decided to call ahead. We called them asking to speak with the employee that we worked with two months ago, and they told us nobody works here with that name, and I know everyone that works here. Maybe youre looking for the Orlando location. But how is that the case when we were just there Thursday afternoon in person when they told us that she, by name, wouldnt have told us the price that she did. So I continued to go in in person and demand an explanation. And as soon as we walk in the building, what do you know. Its the girl that served us two months ago that apparently doesnt work there. She was so sweet, professional, and everything just as before. And she was excited to see us again. I told her everything. And it made no sense to her that they told us the things that they did. Especially that she didnt work there. She also informed us that they wouldve sent us a email of our paper work. And one stating that theyre trashing it before doing is. But we never received a single email from them. End of the story, we got our order exactly as she had initially told us. Price and all. But sadly today was her last day because shes moving to further her career. And I wish her all the blessing in the world because she, Assatad, truly deserves it.I dont know what the issue was with this place and us. Especially with the fact that the employee was the only dark, black female that Ive saw working there in the few times that Ive been. But as a human, and a dark, black female as well. I dont appreciate this kind of unprofessional and unacceptable service. And I will not be coming back.

Sweet by Holly provided the cupcakes for my wedding this past Saturday, 12/19/20. The managers were very responsive and flexible with me when I had to change my wedding date, and the amount needed the week of my event. The delivery was timely, and the cupcakes were delicious. Highly recommend!

Really loved this place for years but recently the recipe for the plain Jane batter has definitely changed. Before it was a thick moist cakey batter with a lot of vanilla bean in the batter and frosting. Loved the density of this cupcake so much I had it for my wedding cake a few years ago. Recently though they have not been the same. The batter is a lot lighter with less flavor and vanilla bean. Ordered a cake for my coworker a few months back and was disappointed in the taste. Recently got a cupcake for my birthday and it was the same. Almost a box batter taste. Something has changed. Please bring back the original plain jane batter! Other than that the staff is nice and location is good.

First experience with this company this week. Ordered a cake over the phone to be picked up yesterday for my wife’s birthday. They put the order in for February 14th. So the wife didn’t have a cake for her birthday. They asked me if I “wanted to keep the order for the 14th”. Why would I want to keep the order for a date I never wanted in the first place and is 10 days after the birthday? They then asked me if I wanted to buy cupcakes to replace the cake mishap but why would I reward them with my business after they screwed up the cake order. I was refunded which I guess is the only remotely close thing to a positive. Will never order anything through them again.

Paid for a Cake that lasted not even 4 hours before sliding and completely falling apart. This was for a very special milestone birthday for my mother’s 50th bday. Sad to say the stethoscope or cake were not secured when I arrived. The cake was much smaller than the photo I shared, stethoscope looked very poor like a child made it.Ended up buying a cake from Publix.Never again, very disappointed

I was at my sisters wedding back in November 7th that cake was the best wedding cake I’ve ever had!!! Oreo cheesecake; Plain Jane and toasted coconut 3 tiered layered cake. The initial tasting was tasty but informative and helped us pick out which flavors we wanted for both the cake and the cupcakes.The staff was super warm and welcoming. We worked mainly with Eleanor, who ensured we were set up for success and that we knew what to expect. The delivery and set-up person did a spectacular job getting our cake and cupcakes picture perfect.All our guests thoroughly enjoyed each flavor we picked and were able to take some mini cupcakes home in little to-go boxes provided by Sweet By Holly. We can’t recommend Sweet By Holly enough for all your sweet needs!

I ordered a red velvet cake, it was super dry and hard. Very disappointed... it taste like the cake was over baked. I called and spoke with one of the workers because the manager was too busy to speak. They offered a free dozen of cupcakes but as this point the birthday celebration was ruin.

We havent been in awhile and it has changed. Mini cupcakes have gotten smaller and the quality has went down... but the price stayed the same. The person who helped us did not seem like they wanted to be there. I honestly cant rave about this place anymore and will try other places.

Absolutely delicious, imaginative cupcakes. Sizes vary, and even the small ones give you a wonderful treat to savor with a cup of coffee. I loved finding inner crunchy or tasty bits instead of just plain cake. The red velvets are my favorite. I wouldnt waste my time or money on people who inhale food, but these darlings make a wonderful gift for people who appreciate such things.

I was trying to have them make custom Minnie Mouse cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. I called for 3 days straight. I was told to send an email with pictures of what I wanted to several different email addresses with no response. Each time I called I spoke with a different girl who didn’t seem to know what the last was talking about, but assured me someone would be calling or emailing me to give me a quote for the cupcakes. I was told not to worry they only need 24 hour notice to make my order. Well lets just say my daughter’s birthday is tomorrow (less than 24 hours now) and still no response via phone or email. I understand they have limited hours right now, however I would expect at least a call or an email explaining they are too business to fulfill my requested order. Poor customer service in my opinion.

First let me say I have used your shop in the past for my daughters birthday parties.This year, however, I do not see myself returning. I am hosting a small party for her with friends whose children have very specific allergies.I found out hours before the pickup that the cupcakes contained eggs in the vegan receipe. Per your employees, they tried to reach out to me via phone and email but noth were written down incorrectly.One, did anyone take the time to verify my phone number and email during the initial call? I remember doing so. And while I wanted to use the website, it was so convoluted, I choose to call in to avoid confusion and specific the type of cupcakes needed.I am so disappointed that I have to now have $30 worth of cupcakes tossed and remade, which almost did not get remade and still pick them up during a time that does not work for me.

Its definitely something to check out once or twice but its pretty expensive for mini cupcakes at $2/each. My favorite is the sugar cookie. I agree with others who have mentioned the limited selection; every time Ive been there theyre out of several of the cupcakes.

New to the area. We moved from MN to FL during COVID. Sweet by Holly was sponsoring a cupcake run that my girls and I signed up for. It was to be our first JAX event. Sadly it was postponed. I stopped in today with my 5 year old little boy Josh. Sweet by Holly made the cake for our 2/23/20 wedding at The White Room in St Augustine and we loved it! Anyone that is currently planning knows that the cake tasting is the most fun part. There’s also a ton of places to choose from. After visiting with Sweet by Holly, picking them was a no brainer. We live in Orlando and have a location not too far from us which worked out great. We ordered everything through that location, but since we were getting married in St Augustine, the Jax location made it and delivered it for us. Not gonna lie, that made us a little nervous. Kept wondering if they would be able to create the same thing we envisioned with the Orlando location. Also because one of the designs we requested, every other cake place said it was not possible with butter cream - only fondant. We didn’t want fondant at all. Sweet by Holly said they could do what we requested in butter cream no problem at all. When we arrived at our venue, the cake was the first thing my wife and I noticed and we were blown away! It came out amazing and even better than we originally anticipated. Plus it tasted amazing! Great job by both the Orlando and Jacksonville location!!...can’t wait to eat that top layer on our anniversary.

It’s my daughters 3rd birthday and we went there to get cupcakes and a big plain Jane cupcake. And it’s so underdone and tasted like dough. All the cupcakes were tipped over in the box after asking the girl If they will they stay up and she said they would be fine. This place used to be my only go to place and now I don’t think I’ll go back.

The silky smooth milky frosting is to die for and the cupcakes itself its the perfect consistency and moisture! Make sure you visit them on Mondays to splurge on their mini cupcakes since they are 50% off on that day! Staff always with a smile on their faces! They also make cakes to order and that shall be next on my list!

These are HANDS DOWN the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. They’re a bit pricey but well worth it. They mostly sell mini cupcakes with a few of the large but those little ones pack big flavor. Each cupcake is a different batter/icing combo with a topping to match. Favorites are: banana, white chocolate raspberry, and tophat. Also they sell frozen yogurt

Cupcakes were excellent (5 stars). The lady who helped me when I picked up for my daughters baby shower was not very pleasant. No hello. No welcome to our store. I received a frustrated stare. t was 9am and pickup only, so maybe too early. I believe customer service is an important part of a business. However, there were rave reviews for the cupcakes.

Delicious cupcakes plus vegan/gf friendly. I’ve taken their cupcakes to many a party and they are always a big hit. For vegan and gf, I call ahead because those seem to go fast. They have outdoor and indoor seating too - both indoors and out are cute and spotlessly clean. It’s a favorite spot for an after dinner treat!

I went into the store this past Monday to purchase a couple dozen minis for an office function. Both the staff working at that time were gracious and helpful even though I took some extra time to pick each one of the 24 cupcakes individually and asked questions about what was in them. Everyone at work loved the cupcakes, they were cute and delicious. Thank you for making my experience and our celebration wonderful!

We recently placed a substantial order to deliver to dental offices. A sharp young man delivered the cupcakes to us and realized they had left few dozen out of the order. Without any hesitation, he took off and was back in a flash with a happy attitude! The potential for an error can easily happen in any business, but they bent over backwards to make everything perfect!!! Those things really matter! Thank you Sweets By Holly!

We havent actually gotten to eat anything here because we can only eat gluten and dairy free items. We love that they are open later than just about every other bakery, but we came here after taking our son out to dinner nearby and they were out of vegan cupcakes. We drove from waycross, ga (1.5 hours) for our sons birthday and its just disappointing that vegan cupcakes are so high in demand but they arent making enough. We would have bought at least 12 cupcakes. I do appreciate that they at least offer gluten free and vegan options, though. If they figure out how to ship them I would be a regular customer.

We love these cupcakes, however we went in tonight and they were dried out. We were trying to support the local businesses, but this was a huge disappointment.

Great cupcakes, but they also serve frozen yogurt. Pretty disappointing to come in on a Saturday afternoon with 4 people behind the counter and only 2 other customers but 10 of the 12 yogurt flavors are showing low mix and the two I want are completely empty. Told one of the girls behind the counter but all I got was oh, well Ill have to tell [somebody else].

Was watching the tv and Cupcake Wars was on. I was watching it while eating my frozen yogurt and some person named Holly was on making cupcakes and I didnt think anything of it. Low and behold a blonde headed lady just came walking into the store with two kids. I started freaking out because the lady that walked in looked exactly like the lady on Cupcake Wars!It was actually Holly who came into the store that day and that was a really cool experience. The frozen yogurt is to die for. Very friendly staff as well.

The place is very nice and clean, but not worth buying the food. Its really sweet and not good. Didn’t see why so many stars when its not that good. I wish it was better. Very disappointed.

Great cupcakes, and they often add new flavors. They also have a now commonplace serve yourself frozen yogurt bar. However, they are severely lacking in drinks. Bottled water and bottled Starbucks coffee is pretty much it. If they served actual coffee, itd be a LOT more enjoyable.

Theyre okay, not sure I understand the hype. I have had amazing cupcakes before in Maryland and RVA. These were just okay, a little dry, and just a little bland to be considered a gourmet cupcake. However, the employees are very nice and the place was very clean. I would return here if I was nearby and was craving a cupcake, but wouldnt go out of my way to come back.

Cupcakes are usually very good, although a couple of times Ive gotten them where they are hollow in the middle or stale. When I was in the store not too long ago, a tall curly haired girl was wearing an anti-abortion sweater...you should probably explain to her the workplace is a very inappropriate place to wear it. Never seen anything like that before in a place of business.

It was my first visit on Saturday, May 19th. I was in search of a Lemon Elderflower cupcake and I was so happy there were a few left. They were so delicious and I bet better than the royal wedding cake. I wish these could always be on the menu. I bought the Key Lime for my husband, a man who does not like sweets, he said it was really good. It is quite a trip for me, but well worth it. I can’t wait to go again.

My only thing is for the last week or so I have been trying to get anything vegan but they’re ALWAYS sold out. I have never tried them and have been wanting to for the first time. Every time I check with them they are sold out of ALL of their vegan options. So here’s my thing: if you know you sell out daily, make or order more - simple! Anyway I gave up on them and decided to stick with sweet theory since all of their stuff is vegan.

I ordered three dozen key lime cupcakes for a conference in Jacksonville. The cupcakes came early, everyone I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. The location manager, Kyle, is awesome. Extremely helpful. I lost my receipt and he quickly emailed me a new one. .......As for the cupcakes.....AMAZING. Incredibly delicious. The group made comments about them all day. The only thing I would mention is that they are mini cupcakes. Still well worth it, but I just expected standard sized cupcakes.

Along with the cup cakes the service has always been great. Cup cakes are always so fresh and delicious. I love how they cater to gluten free and vegan customers.

Cake was dry and over cooked came from out of town and it wasnt good at all

I used to go to Sweets by Holly at least twice a week. However lately, I have noticed that the cupcakes are dry and stale. Has the change in quality product shifted to more cost saving methods? Also the customer service is definitely lacking. A young lady who attempted to rush me through my order had brown debris under her nails. She then grabbed my cupcake out of the display with her bare, debris laced hands. I told her that I wasnt accepting those cupcakes because she didnt use gloves. She stated oh but i grab them by the sides when i mentioned this to management, she said well she grabs them by the side where the paper is. Needless to say I will go to Cami Cakes until this place gets back the luster, cleanliness and yummyness they once had. Very poor quality.

Back on September, we bought a little cake for my daughters 3rd birthday. It was precious and just what we were looking for. My husband returned this week wanted to surprise the family with a Snow White cake for my birthday. At the cake consultation, he was told that the decorators would be “creative with it” and provide something unique. When we went to pick it up today, it was a regular cake with a blurry image screen printed on top. We were so disappointed. They did not even complete his request to write “happy birthday” on it. For $90, we expected a little more time put into the cake. The scrolls on the side were pretty, but the blurry image on top was such a let down. We will not be returning. :( We get better service at Publix.

LOVE this place! The individual large cupcakes and $20 box of cupcakes are very delicious. Great gifts for friends and spouses. The frozen yogurt and toppings are very good too.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The cupcakes are so moist and wonderful and the flavors are delicious! If you have not had a chance to visit this place YOU NEED TO! You will not regret it!

Gluten-free cupcakes! They are so delicious. They also do Custom Cakes, including wedding cakes. They are delicious and beautiful as well as reasonably priced.

Cupcakes are absolutely Amazing!! Service Not so great!!Girl behind the counter with multiple color hair who so happens to be in almost every Monday and is Rude condescending she rushes you and has a Bad attitude we buy Dozens at a time mind you we have multiple medical Facilities we buy for due to our experience or lack there of we will NOT be purchasing anything else from here..if we could Rate this Zero stars for Customer service we would!! Unfortunate Because the quality and Products are Phenomenal!!

So I always get cupcakes here and love it!! Today I went and was literally rushed by the girl behind the counter assisting me and she was so rude. The place was not even busy there was 3 people in the store. Good cupcakes but not worth the attitude
