They are resetting the Merrill Road store. Is more fluid. Always A+ customer service. The computer modems where down for checking out with BL and debit payments, after a long wait for tech support the clerks agreed to hold my items with order pickup, so I could come back when the Computers where up,, since I was in a rush to get home. Order pickup is always awesome as well. Super convenient.

So highly disappointed, went in for Halloween decorations and there was almost nothing on the shelf, but there were isles of Christmas stuff...... really sad. The advertisement flyer showed some really good stuff. Guess I wont be going back.

This store is always clean, tidy and nicely merchandised every time I shop here. Even more important is the courteous and helpful staff. This fine group of employees have totally exceeded my expectations on numerous occasions. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make their customers happy (especially Telly and Valerie in the furniture department). These two ladies have truly provided 5 star service and are a huge asset to the Company. I can only hope that upper management realizes their efforts! Needless to say, I’m a huge fan of Big Lots and they can count on me to be a loyal customer!

Decent selection. Shelves were stocked. Horrible management!!!! I saw employees all over the place but the registers were backed up. Stuff spilt on the ground. This guy Jerry was nice- he looked like he was in charge but just kept walking around and talking in his ear piece. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting- no excuse! Soap empty. Product spilled on the floors. Just nasty! You can tell no one cares about cleanliness there or about the overall guest experience. Will not come back.

They had a decent selection of Christmas yard decoration items on sale. We picked up the 5 collapsible snowman. Looks nice and it is super easy to assemble and disassemble for compact storage.

Big Lots has a lot of great items to choose from! I bought this couch from them back in March or so with the ottoman. Im giving them a 4/5 because there was some confusion about us picking up our couch. When we paid the couch off, we were told we could pick it up the next day. My boyfriend and his dad went to go pick it up and there was no couch. The manager there was not willing to do much for the inconvenience. Finally, he agreed, after we suggested, to deliver it for free.We got the couch delivered that day, but not our ottoman. I called to check on it and I was given the run around with the employees for about a month. I finally spoke with the furniture manager, Val, and she figured it out for us. She was very nice and helpful and apologetic. She always kept in contact with me and she called when our ottoman was ready. She compensated for the mistake as well.

Big Lots has a lot of variety and mostly decent prices. Today I was somewhat disappointed and somewhat pleased. I was disappointed because there were so many items that were not priced. I may have gotten more if I knew how much the items were. I was however pleased with the service from the cashier and other person helping her. They were pleasant, courteous, and efficient.

Recently I bought Serta pillows from this store, these are the worst pillows I have ever slept on.....the sales team were not available to help. I like a hands on staff that approach me and say can I help you!

It was ok. Shelves needed to be stocked in the cleaning products aisle and stuff did not have prices on it. Very annoying. But the things I did buy were good deals. Also only 1 cashier was opened for a bit before a second showed up. Nice staff there. 😊

Store is not as good as it once was. I get the impression that this store is on the brink of closure. Inventory is sorely lacking. I do not visit this this facility with the regularity I previously did. It is depressing to go there.

We needed a new patio and compared Loews, Home Depot and Big Lots. Big Lots had the best price/quality of the three. While at home assembling the love seat a screw was in an odd location with poor visibility and while screwing it in the alignment wasnt right which caused us to strip the screw. No matter what we did we couldnt get it straight. I called back to the store for assistance and was told that they would try to fix it at the store and that didnt work order a replacement. Valerie (I think that was her name...sorry!) not only replaces the stripped screw but assembled the entire chair in half the time it would have taken me!

Found my new bedroom furniture and was able to put it on layaway.

Great customer service even offered to help take it to my car. Prices are awesome also....

Totally stocked with a ton of health food! Love this place! I can always find my favorite protein powder here and discount protein bars. Tons of fermented organic foods. Havent really shopped here yet for home goods but I cant wait to do so. Staff was awesome and even though it was near closing the ladies at checkout were very humble! I will definitely go back and recommend this place. Customer service is major factor in getting a great review.

Horrible, shopping experience, walking down half stocked aisle, not having what came for. Checkout line was terrible, only cashier had to answer phones & put out fires. No paper in the receipt printer, he called 3 times. Backup cashier came faster than the paper. I was glad to exit after 30 minutes of getting a couple things so it wouldnt feel as if I wasted my time!L.D.

Friendly Helpful Service all the way around. Which is more than you can say for most big box store retailers today.I bought a couch and considering the process (I was in the process of moving, it was a short term lay away purchase) there was certainly a lot of possibilities for problems. But I didnt have a single one. The furniture manager, Vicki, is on top of things there. And when I couldnt figure out why the sofa wouldnt recline, I called the store for help. And get this: I got a human being on the phone not automated system! Imagine that! The gentleman who answered the phone said he wasnt sure how to correct it but he would run back to the furniture department himself, take a look at the couch, and get it straightened out right now. And he did. What a breath of fresh air.The store is also clean and well laid out. And you know your getting a good bargain on your purchase.

Weve shopped here many times, employees are always friendly and almaot always find a deal. lately we have bought furniture here a few times. Weve always gotten the best deal available, and plenty of info and good opinions on product. Specifically one employee has made are experience so easy, informative, andfriendly. All while getting great deal on some decent quality furniture. Valerie in the furniture department has made shopping for any of these products way better then any larger department or furniture stores. This place had some interesting products that I have not found any where else. The coffee pods are my favorite. They have seasonal blends that are fantastic. The flavors range from cookie dough to peppermint bark. Ill love them!

While shopping the other day there was an assistant manager, i think his name tag said Jim, not only running the store but providing oustanding customer service. One point he was up front on a register, next he was in furniture and when i was leaving he was helping a lady to her car. It is hard to find employees that dedicated and hard working now a days and that was a good site to see. I highly recommend this store and will definitely return.

The service was great, yet the couple behind me acted asbif they didnt have enough smarts to know what six feet are...one mire step and they would habe been on my feet. Saddly the clerk said nothing to them so Im sure their sad behavior will continue
