I got a random assortment of donuts with a caramel flavored latte and everything was delicious. It was my first time trying a bacon donut and even though I’m not a big bacon fan, I liked it. It’s really cool that you can make your own donut. I will definitely have to come again sometime soon!

These Donuts are the ones you’ll never forgot about! Sooo delicious!They are made right there, lots of toppings to choose from my favorite, glazed, cinnamon and French toast. It’s all the same batter. Good to take home freshly made warm donuts or eat there.They still taste good three days later!

I decided to try Duck Donuts when I was in the area one weekend. It was Saturday around 11ish in July. I didnt have a wait and the cashier helped walk me through their process. I was shocked it took about 10 mins to get my three donuts. I one worker was fulfilling a phone order and two others were wondering around and discussing something. The donuts were ok. Nothing super exciting.

Holy smokes, this place was unexpectedly good. I had heard that they were good, but I had no idea they were cooked and decorated in front of me good. Its all the same donut base but they have a broad range of flavors, and there is literally a random button on the register if you are about that (disclaimer: we were). You may wait an extra six minutes over say DD or KK, but that total of ten minutes is totally worth it. We took a box with us on vacation since the box gives reheating instructions on the side.

Hands down the best donuts Ive ever tasted. Debated between 2 and 3 stars for the extreme lack of customer service.Went back again because the donuts are that good. Customer service was great this time, so bumping this up to 5 stars.

I first tried these while on vacation in Virginia. These donuts are really good! Even though they are cake donuts, I personally do not think they are heavy compared to yeast donuts. I love how they have a little bit of a crispy outer crust when they are still fresh and hot. I will definitely be ordering these from time to time. We decided to be good and just order half a dozen this time. They have so many possible flavor combinations, its really hard to decide on which 6 to order. Even though all the glazes and toppings are amazing, I will go simple next time and just get cinnamon and sugar. The one thing I didnt see at this location that I had in the Virginia location are the donut breakfast sandwiches. However, it might be a good thing that they do not offer those here, otherwise my waistline would be in trouble :)

Amazing. The simple deliciousness of the plain donut with powdered sugar was incredible. The freshness of the donuts and toppings were apparent. Reminded me of the fresh baked donuts we use to get at cider mills in Michigan. Absolutely delicious.

Saw an ad for Duck Donuts and was eager to try them out. Finally out in the area on a weekend. Not disappointed at all. They are a good size, not too big, not too small. Warm and soft, and a lot of flavors to choose from. Check out the web site and prepare for when you walk in, to make ordering more efficient. Definitely recommend checking them out when you can.

Omg we found ourselves a better donut place than other chain ones around us! Of course theyre a bit more expensive than the others but so worth it. You can order a set dozen already or pick and choose whatever you want. They actually decorate/prepare them once you order so its not like theyre sitting there already done. And they taste amazing!!! We wont be getting our donuts from anywhere else now.

I was told that the donuts here were good, I made an online order which I picked today. However, I did not leave happy because I was wanting to get milkshakes during the visit and was flat out told no. One of the guys there (didnt get his name because no name tag or introduction) told me they were too busy to make milkshakes. After hearing that, I had to explain to my daughters why they couldnt have milkshakes. Is this really how you run your business? If so, Ill go give my business to someone else who actually wants it. On the plus side, the donuts do look and taste good. I just dont think theyre good enough to be treated the way my family and I were treated.

Didnt look very clean donuts were not anything special more like cake donuts had no filled donut my favorite. Mother had a bakery in Hiwassee Ga. a comparison of her place was way over top of this place. I will stick to Dunkin

So, I ate my donuts before I thought to take a picture. They were pretty good, and a little messy.Same cake donut for most or all of their offerings. These seem to be fresh made. I had a Sunrise and a Blueberry pancake. Both were stellar.Sunrise was my preference, and I’d consider trying more on a return visit. Wish they had alternate style donut flavors.Coffee was just ok. Not terrible but nothing amazing on its own. But that’s ok, because with the donuts to offset, it balanced out very well.Would recommend you visit them.

Great Food, Poor Delivery.. Ordered several donuts to be delivered THROUGH Duck Donuts.... After half an hour, was notified that the delivery did not go through and that I would need to pick them up. After I was almost there, I was again notified it was out for delivery and of course the delivery driver beat me to my own house. Wonderful use of customers time.

Hot Fresh Donuts! Whats better? Strongly recommend the Maple Glazed, Bacon, with salted Caramel Drizzle and the Blueberry Glazed, Powder Sugar, with Maple Drizzle...tastes exactly like fresh blueberry pancakes :) So good I choose a box of these over a birthday cake this year!

These donuts are amazing, they would have gotten 5 stars if they executed my order correctly. Called the order the day prior and specifically for just the maple and bacon ones. They were busy in the morning, with a couple of customers ahead of me. So I decided to wait outside. I go and pick up the order and didn’t verify, and when I get to work I open both boxes and end up with two boxes of assorted. Not happy driving 20min to the location to get what I didn’t pay for.

First time in ordered a dozen assorted donuts with a few cheesecake and no peanuts or peanut butter. Very pleased with what I recieved. Girls and wife were very happy at home. Shared a few extras with the neighbors. Very filling. Excellent for special occasions. Cant argue with how they make the donuts right in front of you. Place has a little step so smaller kids can watch

I have been ordering online from this Duck Donuts for almost a year now. I first tried Duck Donuts in Kitty Hawk, NC... these are the most delicious donuts around. However, today I ordered from Jacksonville, FL Duck Donuts and I was a little disappointed. When I went to pick them up, they were busy but it looked like there were only 2 people working at the time, which was just after noon. I did see a couple of other people there but they were not helping out in the front. I needed to pick up my donuts and wanted to buy a coke that I forgot to put on my order. I stood in line for at least 4-5 minutes mainly because the lady in front of me ordered an iced coffee and it took a while for the person taking the orders to get more cups and then make the iced coffee. Once I paid for my coke, I got my donuts and went home. I didnt check my order, I have never had a reason to because I usually dont have a problem. When I got home and was going to eat my donuts, I found out that they didnt make one of the donuts correctly. I had asked for yellow cake and they gave me chocolate cake.I just want to say that you need to train your employees in customer service. I understand that the others who were there and not working out front may have been doing something else, but when you have a back up at ordering and/or making the donuts, it should be all hands on deck for your customers waiting for or to give their orders.I have to say that I normally have a good experience whenever I order from Jacksonville Duck Donuts but this is the first time that I have been there when it was so busy. It was actually the first poor experience that I have had at any Duck Donuts.

Duck Donuts gives you the opportunity to make any donut you can imagine. Chocolate frosting with a dusting of powdered sugar, no problem. Want something odd like maple frosting with Lucky Charms and marshmallow drizzle, let er rip! This store isnt a very common shop nation wide but its extremely popular no matter where its at. The Jacksonville site being the newest (opened yesterday, 7 March 2020) has made it a hot commodity, so unless youre coming in off hours, be ready for a line. Worry not, though, its ample time to figure out what youre going to get. Sadly the location doesnt have a list of toppings posted thats easily read (its on a TV high up in small print) so you almost need to know whats available ahead of time. Once youve ordered theres a small, but great to watch wait time. You then get to see your donuts get made a la Chipotle or Krispy Kreme. Theres even a small step for the little ones to enjoy as well. Be sure to use caution when you get your donuts, too, as theyll be extremely hot, but that just gives you time to get to your destination. There are tables here if thats more your flavor, but I would give it time to settle down as its extremely crowded at the moment.**WARNING** If you have allergies, do let the staff know to change their gloves, theres a lot of nuts and peanut butter being handled here so use caution.

These were the best donuts ever! They make them right in front of you! They are certainly the most fresh donuts I have had, and they were still warm when I got home! It was a really neat experience to see them make everything and the whole process too! This is my new donut shop!!

Wow. Turned away. They would not serve us.We choose not to wear mask. So we don’t have them. They were very rude about this and didn’t have any masks to offer. If it’s your policy that’s fine. But then you should offer a mask.

Amazing donuts!These donuts are a perfect cross between light fluffy airy donuts and cake donuts, I love that they were not too dense or heavy. the donuts were warm, fresh, delicious and slightly crispy. also the toppings and glazes are so good. I dont like when donuts are overly sweet and sugary to the point where you feel almost sick while eating them, the donuts were perfectly balanced with the perfect amount of sweetness and sugary goodness, but not overpowering.well done .we will be back for sure.

Donuts are fresh and made to order, with a large variety. Seasonal flavors are offered and delicious. Nice atmosphere, with an area for kids to step up and watch the donuts as theyre made. The first time I went in I was overwhelmed with the options and needed some direction as options are endless. This is the second time Ive been there and I thought the first time there was no friendliness because they were busy. The same held true today and we were the only.ones in there. Thats my only downfall with this place. No interaction at all, almost feel like an inconvenience stepping up to order.

The way they handled how busy they were on opening day was phenomenal. No one was grouchy, or unhelpful. The staff was well put. Everyone was working diligently to get the donuts to customers in a efficient and timely fashion. The donuts were out of this world and so fresh. I would also recommend their coffee. It was keptfresh and hot! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Online ordering is the way to go. Donuts ready in 30 mins & you have all the options to choose from. These donuts are a special treat. Still warm when you get them, lightly crispy, soft & airy, but not heavy or dense. They can get a little sweet with all the different topping, but it is a moist cake donut and balances out well. Definitely worth a try.

I sent a message to the duck donuts Instagram on Nov 25 and they said you would be in contact with me and I still have on heard anything. I understand it’s the holidays but there is no excuse for poor customer service.

This store just opened and the pandemic has made things pretty overwhelming in terms of the number of people calling in orders, BUT... the staff did a great job keeping up with everything and taking care of the people placing orders in the store.The employees were hustling to keep up, and they all kept a smile on their face. Charlotte seemed to be the main person managing the chaos, and she handled everything really well.Our kids loved the donuts, and enjoyed getting to decide which toppings they would get. Congrats to the staff for handling such difficult circumstances so well, and maintaining such a great attitude.

Today I was craving donuts and my first instinct was to go to the main stream donut place (starts with D ends with an Uncan) until I googled donuts near me and discovered Duck was within a 10 min drive. I called ahead 20 minutes before closing and spoke with who I believe was the store manager. As I was driving I explained this was my first experience with Duck donuts and she talked me through the process of ordering And I explained that I couldn’t look at the menu because I was driving. 20 minutes to closing and she took the time to go through different ingredients and recommend different donuts. I ended up getting 6 donuts instead of a dozen since my wife who is vegan doesn’t like donuts and hasn’t had one in 12 yrs. I got them home still hot, and quickly dug into the peanut butter paradise that was recommended to me and my wife came over and to my surprise took a bite. She hadn’t had a donut in 12 yrs and share three of the donuts with me. The peanutButter paradise, blueberry pancake, and French toast. I highly recommend this place for your donuts. Overall great food, great service, worth the value 👍🏾 Give them a try before going to any of the other places.

This is by far the best experience Ive had with a cake donut and the toppings & icing are to die for. If you have not tried this place you owe to yourself to do so ASAP. And its FRESH everytime you order, they cook to order. And its the only location in Jacksonville.

The donuts are amazing but some of the younger employees (I shall not use their name) doesn’t understand the value of a job and cleanliness. My first visit I asked another person to handle my donuts because the other person I felt was inadequate.I love the donuts just wish the staff were more experienced in customer service and how to use a register.

Duck Donuts was amazing, fresh, hot, and hands down worth the wait!!!!!! For just opening and having such a massive crowd the employees did an excellent job!!! I’ve read some reviews criticizing the wait time, but people remember they are made to order. If you don’t have patience to wait then don’t go to any grand opening. Donuts were pretty delicious not super sweet like some other do it places but rather good and the do it itself was good and warm. The team did a good job even with them having been open for the second day. Good job Team Duck Donuts !!!!!

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and were very impressed with the quality of the donuts! They are made to order freshly - you can even see the newly baked donuts come out of a baking machine - and you choose your glaze and toppings, which allows you to fully customize. We ordered a maple glazed with raspberry drizzle, blueberry glazed with oreo crumble and a chocolate glazed with sprinkles. All absolutely delicious, and still warm when you get them, which is the best part of the experience. It did take a little longer than a trip to a donut place which has pre-made donuts, but I would say that is absolutely worth it for custom made, fresh donuts! We will be back again soon - hopefully more locations (Town Center area??) are in the plans.

The donuts are delicious! The cashier need to be fired today or put her to clean dish. She got you a one star. Lots of people was complaining about her. She needs more training or she need to go. Sorry for being rude but business is business. There no time for mistakes..

Finally found a time to come in when it wasn’t busy (7:30AM on a Saturday). 4 people ahead of me in line to order. In 15 minutes, it was 1 person in front of me, and 3 waiting on their donuts to be made. Had to leave because I should have allotted an hour before work starts to pick up donuts for my staff. I’m sure the donuts taste as good as they look, but watching the staff ‘work’ is like watching a video on 0.5x speed.

Only reason I give this place a 4 is because I walked in to pickup my online order 3 employees working all looked at me not one greeded or asked if I needed help. Waited a couple of minutes and nothing. I walked over to the order counter to let them know I needed to pick up a order. As it was being handed to me one of the employees said next time just let us know you picking up. Maybe if I was greeded from the beginning and not ignored that would have happened!! In my work place we always greet everyone first. Spending 30 dollars on donuts I would have expected a little more friendliness. Your donuts are amazing though!!
