I’m so happy they shut this place down! Although I believe the reason was political, nonetheless I am happy. It did not pay well and had everyone in debt. The machines got worse and worse and harder to hit no matter how much money you put in. This was a total scam!

Very relaxed fun place to get away from the stress of a day! People are all very friendly. I win lots here and have a really good time. Can get really good home cooked type meals from the restaurant next door too.Love the people!

This place is one of the safest Internet cafe in Jacksonville Florida, you can win at any game room you just have to know when to stop and cash out. I have done good at the copa. Since they open over 10 yrs ago. 👍👍👍👍

I witnessed the owner (male) choke a female on yesterday in this business and it was EXTREMELY disturbing. There was a fight between 2 regulars where 1 was throwing peaches at the other ( peaches barely touched or completely missed the lady. It was not a serious fight and his actions were unnecessary. He stands behind the very thin Asian woman who threw the peach and had her in a chokehold and continues to squeeze . She was not resisting or fighting him nor squirming; she was tapping as if she couldn’t breathe. Someone had to step in and proceeded to get her out of the owners arms and escort her out. He followed her out squeezing the back of her neck. It turns out the Asian lady he choked was he EX girlfriend and the lady who was apart of the altercation was his current girlfriend, so this was a domestic situation. Even one employee stated that he “choked the s**t out of her”. It was bad and plenty of customers and employees witnessed it.It’s bad enough that people lose their hard earned money, but to see that makes me never want to patronize this place and give him another dollar. He is too touchy feelie with every female in there. He rubs backs thighs and it’s very uncomfortable. You want to think that he is just a nice friendly man but it’s inappropriate.

You don’t really win money. You have to spend a lot and if you’re lucky you’ll get some of it back then lose it trying to win more.. this place keeps people in debt . Needs to pay better. It’s horrible. Machines are rigged up. You’ll have better luck with slots

The jackpots have gone to almost nothing!! A few years ago I was getting on average $150 to $ 300+ bonuses. Now sometimes I get $1.80 to $5.00 bonuses. I would rather not even get a bonus than get that garbage. I rarely go there any more.

Doesn’t pay. Sad to see so many people trying to win and going broke, but they don’t realize the odds are against them. Why are so many of these “cafes “ in poor neighborhoods?? Copa Cabana needs to be shut down or investigated . Vote Yes on Amendment 3 .
