Shop there all the time it was so nice cause it wasnt busy gave you room and time to look at everything they have you could really shop take your time its always clean helpful the workers was there to ask if they could help you find anything

Employees are very nice but self check out does not work you have to have them clear each item as you scan it been like that for a long time I think Im gonna start going to Walmart

I havent been to this commissary in yrs. Ot looked the same.It had a great variety of foods. The store was very clean and the staff are very nice, helpful and friendly

I am reluctant to brag this place up, because it is the perfect little quiet comm and I dont want it to get busy. Good selection, good meats, amazing prices on some things not so hot on others (standard commissary issues).

Certain shelves are getting empty! Product are not being ordered any more!!!!

Signs out front do not reflect whats actually happening.They say no early bird shopping but yet people were in.one sign says early bird shopping 15 items or less the one almost next to it says 25 items are less.Lady yelled at me for using my EBT card at the self-serve cash register says they can jam up the whole system yet there was no sign saying that to use it just a woman who embarrassed me.

Great commissary and the folks working there were a class act.

The staff are friendly, and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked! Always a more enjoyable experience than most other grocery stores!

Commissary is rarely busy except paydays, i really like that the meat dept. will custom cut your meat for you, if you ask.

Produce is typically hit or miss, regretfully this being the smaller commissary I expected the departments to be a bit more organized and definitely more oversight to avoid a lot of bad/or close to expired produce.Then to top it off, my husband and I went in during the early bird hour - which allows for full shopping but a person cannot check out with more than 20 items until after the store opens for regular time. Considering it typically takes 1.5-2+ hours to complete our grocery shopping every month, there wasnt any chance of being done before the store opened. But our arrival at the registers approximately 7 minutes after regular store hours started was enough to make 2 employees shake their heads in disgust and discuss (within my earshot no less!) that it was ridiculous how people took advantage of the early bird hour of shopping and what trash we were for having done that and showed up at the registers right after they opened with two overflowing carts.Well, I beg your pardon but neither of you we the person to assist us in checking out. And not that it should matter a hill of beans, but that 67 minutes was the only time during an entire week that my husband and I were able to spend any time together due to work schedules and we had to get our shopping done - HOW DARE YOU LADIES!?! You are rude and dont deserve a job in that business - completely unprofessional!

Good prices alot cheaper than other grocery stores. Friendly staff every time I go. They also accept wic here.

I love the new river shopping center because it is never as crowded as the others. It also has great prices, wifi, wonderful customer service and even during construction its clean! I saved at least $10+ today alone by shopping there instead of walmart and got the same items! Cheapest price chicken in town and great quality!

I appreciate the prices, service and selection the commissary provides. However, I will never buy milk from here. It always seems to go bad bad well before the stamped expiration date. I am always careful to check expiration dates on other food items too. Ive pointed out to them on multiple occasions expired items they have for sale.

Needs to get the reconstruction completed and up and running normally again. Outstanding employees, cant be beat.

The MCAS Commissary is a great place to grocery shop. The selections are great, the staff are courteous and friendly, and the prices are far lower on most items than the prices are out in town. Highly recommend this store.

I like this commissary because it is small. It carries the basics. I dont always love the produce, despite the wonderful people who work in the produce department! It is never really crowded and the staff is helpful!

I love the meat selection and the prices are great. Some things are a little higher priced but the veggie selection and freshness makes it well worth it.

They always have the best prices on meats and produce. Very hard to beat their prices on a lot of other items as well.

Family re-stationed to MCAS New River so the limited hours caught us off guard, but nice selection for a smaller duty station.

If you need a very common necessity and close by, then this is an ok choice. Its small, but the deli is amazing, highly recommend coming here for a sandwich over Subway.

New Rivers commissary is always good. One suggestion would be to have cart corrals in the parking lot.
