Great store. Friendly staff and very helpful.

I usually love shopping at Food Lion. Customer service has always been very good and their prices are affordable. However, this morning I stopped there to grab a few things before heading off to work but when I approached the door it would not open. The time was about 6:20 so I looked through the glass and noticed someone was at the cashier desk packing some things onto the shelves. I beckoned to her to let her know I could not get in and she looked me dead in the face and ignored me. I thought maybe she didnt see so I beckoned again and she did the same thing! I went back to my car, called their number and she answered. I told her I was trying to get in and I did notice her ignore me and she responded by saying she did not ignore me she was busy. Are you serious??? It was at that time she came and opened the door but I was so turned off I left. Ill spend my money elsewhere.

I really hate to complain, but Ive noticed the shelves stay empty for a long time here. Something simple like athletic tape for sprains and such is always gone. They havent had certain products for over a month when other places do have them. I was told several times they were on the truck and theyd be here and they arent. What was once a convenient quick stop has become a hassle. Idk if its the management or if theres a shortage on only the products I like to buy but its really frustrating. The staff is nice though, Ill give them that. But when theres empty spots on the shelves and theres a tag implying it should be there and it isnt, its an issue regardless of the staffs kindness. Im there to buy what I need.

Stopped in 1st thing early Sunday morning. The employees were friendly and courteous.... Selection was great. Store very clean. Check out cashier Kole was above and beyond excellent. Friendly fast and took time to pack bags and asked if I had preference on packing certain items... Great job young man...

Always clean and as well stocked as possible.

The Food Lion staff is exemplary. They are very kind and if you cant find something, they will drop what they are doing to bring you to what youre looking for. They dont act annoyed by you interrupting whatever theyre working on. They always seem overjoyed to assist their customers.There is a very large selection of groceries and some other essential things like toilet paper and personal hygiene items.The check out lines are fast moving, and the cashiers will always ask how your day is going, and offer friendly small talk without slowing down the check out process. They also have no problem scanning their personal MVP cards if you have forgotten to bring your own. The MPV cards save you a lot of money too.I love Food Lion, and in my opinion there is really no better place to get groceries and essentials in Jacksonville.

Excellent wine selection for North Carolina wines. Unfortunately did not find some of the healthy items that I heard other food lions carry.

Stopped at this Food Lion for the first time yesterday. I must say this Food Lion was spotless and the staff was courteous. The cashier was such a sweetheart and gave her a compliment regarding the store.(I actually enjoyed my shopping experience for the first time in a long time.)

The best Ive been in so far! Very clean and produce is actually fresh 👌. Even though I live closer to piney green Id rather drive a bit further for this food lion

It was a short visit, but the store is immaculate, the variety good, and we were in and out quickly.

Had to stop by after a long work day and was checked out by Zoey. I was exhausted and working in retail/customer service we all know it isnt for the weak. I came in late so I know it was nearing the end of her shift but she was so kind and had such a phenomenal customer service mindset and attitude. She told me about great ways to earn money back on my purchases and save money too! On the way out I walked by another great employee named Tiffany that was super friendly as well. What more could you ask for?? I dont usually stop at this location but I this is now my new home store. Thank you for making the end of my long work day a little brighter. ❤

Love this Food Lion location! Staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is always well organized and clean. I never had an issue with returns or exchanges (if I grabbed something wrong and realized once I got home) They really go above and beyond for their customers. I’d highly recommend this location.

Kinda judgmental about folks they dont even know they just assume your bad news and follow you around the store very offensively I ended up leaving an entire cart and going elsewhere....I now understand and see the problem with the world today to quick to judge someone

Fix your phone system...we have ordered online off and on and the last two times weve picked an order up weve had to go INSIDE the store to get someone to bring our order out because no one would answer the phone, kind of defeats the purpose. Also, most of us arent interested in the truck delivery schedule. The sign with your phone number states to press 1, let us skip the irrelevant messaging like we use to be able to do.

Food Lions shelves were very well-stocked, something we havent always seen in recent months.

Going to Food Lion is a calm and relaxing experience. I find what I want and I am able to get out without any hassles. Even the lighting in the building is calming and makes me want to look around more to ensure I have gotten everything on my list and I dont feel like I am rushed to get in and out unless that is what I want or need to do. And the smaller shopping carts are definitely a plus for when I only need a few items

I really like this store. First off, the manager, is excellent at what she does. Shes never still, always hustling and leads her employees in a hard working example. She is quick to jump on a register herself or bag groceries if business is heavy. Next, they store is very clean and organized, always a plus when shopping for food. Love the produce.Well done

This was a very good experience for me not to busy and things are running low due to people preparing for the hurricane. Staff was still very helpful no one seemed stress smiles everywhere and the cashier could take a joke... awesome sauce

Reasonable prices if you sign up for the Rewards program - its free. If you create an online account (also free), you can load digital coupons and save more money through the Shop & Earn page. I wish the produce section was larger but good place to shop overall.

Like all Food Lions, this is a nice place to shop for groceries as well.

Its good. Its convenient and everyone is very helpful and friendly. The only complaint i have is that the produce and salads go bad within a day or two after purchasing. Ive also picked up alot of salad bags that were already bad. Ive mentioned it to management several times but nothing has changed.

Foodlion Williamsburg is the best one in the county. Its super clean and the staff is awesome.

Always greeted with a smile and friendly attitude. Ask for an item, most times they walk you to it. Ask whats the best deal and they run down the list. Deli staff is the crown jewel for me for this store! I live between this on and the one across from liberty tire, I shop at this one!

Food lion is a chain grocery store. Fresh produce and meat Dept. Wide aisle with neatly stocked items.They offer Loyalty cards, you use with each purchase. In-store Coupons, theyre available with your loyalty card and they normally are personalized based on previous purchases.

I was happy to shop there. Jazz. Hitchcock was so helpful. F. L.is clean inside and out will shop there. A. Gain.

They usually have what I need. Store is easy to navigate during non peak hours. Getting thru the store with wheelchair or powerscooter is easy. The bathrooms could be a bit more handicap accessible, but Ive seen worse handicap bathrooms.

Easter Sunday 2018. I was in need of a basket and ran into food lion. They didn’t have any but the manager- I didn’t catch his name but he was blonde and wearing a headset and a set of keys- asked me for help and I told him my dilemma. He was fixing the store Easter display and offered to give me one from the display. I love when I receive great customer service and when mangers go above and beyond to help cunstomers. Great job.
