WORST EXPERIENCEI was at the store and I generally buy $300 groceries every month from the store. I bout wheat flour if particularly this store brand and got bugs in the flour. I requested a manager that I got bugs from the flour. He was not ready to listen me and started arguing with me and my dad. He was shouting at me and my dad and arguing like you should che the flour when you got now we can’t help you. So my dad started taking video of the manager . HE pushed my dad and snatched his phone. He is the most unfriendly manager who doesn’t care about customers. I was not angry because I want $12 but as a customer I was expecting at least he listen me. Worst worst worst worst manager and people over there who doesn’t help me.

We love this store. In fact, we travel 45 minutes (one way) to pick up all of our Indian food inspired dishes. Great variety of fresh, dried and frozen foods. If you like/love these specific ethnic foods, you should really check them out.

Great Indian Grocery. They have great prices & fabulous inventory!!

One of the nicer Indian grocery stores out there in the Bea Meadows area. I have been to other Patel Brothers and found them more cleaner and bigger with more varieties but compared to others in the area, this store definitely stands out the most. They dont carry milk so that is one issue I see when I get my groceries done here. I like the fact that there is no minimum order for credit card which is usually the case in other smaller indian stores.

Vegetables are not fresh anytime you go. If they are going stale, better to remove them from the aisle rather than keeping them. You find most of the Indian stuff. No freshly made for available.

Only good indian grocery store in Jacksonville. You get all what you need though lately prices have gone considerably up. Some of the items are available at quite good price at other stores.

I like this location better than the one that’s in Chicago more options and better parking.

I think its fine you shop here, some of the cooking essentials such as toor daal can only be found at an Indian grocery store such as Patel which are in good condition btw. However, I recommend buying veggies such as spring onions or egg plant in supermarkets like Walmart.Overall, the shopping experience at Patel, in my opinion, deserves a four out of five.

This store has fresh produce and many products that you cant find in regular markets and grocery stores. You will find many spices, frozen fish, desserts, snacks, and essentials for creating an Indian cuisine at home. The facility is well kept and very clean. The employees take special care when stocking their products and are very helpful when you need assistance. There are also frozen ready meals for the days when you want to create a quick and easy Indian food night including frozen naan you can just pop in the oven to give it a finishing touch. If you like to spend the time and slow cook a rich and savory meal, they have all that you need to accomplish that also. I will definitely be visiting again sometime in the future.

Good variety of Indian groceries but astronomical prices, they have close to doubled all prices in less than 6 months while inflation is only 6%. They are taking advantage of no competition in this area.

Great place and good quality. Was looking for a location outside of New Jersey when I visit family and was happy to see them in Jax. Amazing Mangoes when available as well.

All prices were high in Jax patel compare to other patel of other states,today I went to buy products and prices are more than ever which were already high I need to explore other indian groceries and stores to take items from now onwards

Clean and well stocked place. It is costlier compared to other states stores. Entrance has marked required mask policy, but it is not followed by employees themselves.

I always get whatever I want but they have zero process for cleaning the carts (very important during this pandemic) unless they do it when no is looking. They definitely dont have the cart cleaning process like in Publix or Walmart. Apart from this a good store.

The amount of people there in the weekends shows that this place has a lot of different products for people to buy and that the store is very popular. Quality of all products is okay, some products are opened by other customers and not properly closed and repackaged. Overall, good experience.

Vegetables always look good here at Patel Brothers! I wish they had a variety of brands of spices though. I think their home brand is Swads which is good but many other brands out there like Lakshmi.

Bad customer service. Store employees won’t answer and not friendly towards customers. Items are pricey and this Store only runs because there is no another store with wide varieties. Store will run out of business if people here find another alternative.

I went to Patel Brothers today, what I saw I could not believe my own eyes.Today I am ashamed to say I am Indian.These people are overcharging so much it’s beyond imagination.They are taking advantage of the situation.They are robbing people by price gouging.I have taken pictures as a proof to show.Someone needs to do something about this..They are profiting against a crisis.Instead of helping they are butchering people with the prizes.These people need to be punished.I would never shop over there again.

The Patel Brothers in Jacksonville Fl is so worthy for US Nepalese because we can find so many things similar to as our Country but the staff in the reception are so weird, they dont have any manners even the Manager do, the receptionists dont know how to deal with Cusomers, today 6 th of July when I approach to the counter there was a young lady in the reception, and she throws my stuff so weirdly towards me even she didnt manage it properly, she didnt know to say greetings like hi, hello, thank you. This kind of Stores should train their staff well. I would prefer this kind of staff not to work...

I get most of groceries here. love veggies and spices.most of regular groceries are priced reasonably.there were sweet boxes given to every customer during festival. its amazing!

Patel Brothers is an excellent source of Indian foods starting from rice to vegetables and ingredients that you cant get in a local franchise store. The employees were very helpful, and in the past I have gotten some excellent ideas from them as to how to use the foods that they carry. The prices are reasonable and the vegetables are fresh and look great.

Produce, spices and foods A, but socially I am beginning to resent the stares, and occasionally being followed by customers. You see I am Black woman, of African, American Indian and Asian Indian decent.I was raised in a predominantly Indian culture, so I am trying to pass on this beautiful culture to the next generation. I grew up eating this kind of food and am considering not returning. I can not imagine a non Indian who want to experiment with different cultural foods would be made to feel.

Great prices! Customer service was wonderful. I went to buy a bag of split peas and she told me that the same ones were on sale in a smaller bag and recommended so I could save a few dollars! I’ll definitely return for great prices and quality unique goods. Very pleased!

It was my first time visiting the store. Lovely selection of things,nice produce and a very wide variety of Indian spices, items fresh n frozen. I live 35 minutes from there but I will be going back and I would recommend it for your cultural cooking needs. One of my favorite places to food for food. Im plant based and they have what I need when it comes to food. I also get this gooseberry powder from here for me and my daughters hair.

This is the best place in town to shop Indian groceries, vegetables and other traditional commodities. Prices might be a little higher or lower from the regular neighborhood store but if looking for Indian stuffs this is a one stop shopping place.

Very well stocked store selling everything youll need to make a good Indian meal.The number of snacks offered are amazing. They have snacks from North India to South India. Loose snacks that you can pack your own also available.Lots of fresh vegetables at reasonable price.

Full fledge Indian grocery store. Everything you could want in abundance including produce, meat, frozen foods, spices, grains, snacks, hair care, etc. I have enjoyed shopping here. Its like an Indian wonderland. I am one of the few non-indians that I ever see in there. I usually go once a week and try something new.

Very unprofessional. I was looking for a particular product for an Indian recipe and asked 3 staffers at different places none of them came to show where it was shelved. Said something to the effect that go there and lookRude cashiers. They neither greet nor wish the customers. They provide service with a frown.

I had very awful and bad experience shopping here. They intentionally hide fresh vegetables and wait for old ones to be picked up. It happened to be recently there were few old cilantro on the shelf, I picked them thinking they are what is left for the day. As I picked and turned back staff came to fill fresh cilantro. I went back to grab fresh one and put what I had back. he yelled at me and said since I touched the picked items I cannot put it back. I was very disappointed with dishonesty. He was insisting that I throw the old stuff if I need to pick fresh. I turned back without picking fresh cilantro. He kept yelling and calling me back to come back and throw items I had in trash that was inside a dark room. I left and have never stepped into that shop again.

Indian supermarket chain. This one is not as big as some of their other stores and seems to be a little more expensive. Great place to buy Indian tea, spices and food stuff. Very clean and well organized with helpful staff.

I am not an expert on Indian markets (why I only did four stars), but the selection here appeared to be thorough and, in fact, exhaustive. The produce and frozen sections were larger than would have expected. Ill be back.

Sad Checkout Staff - its funny how staff dont care whether you buy or not. At least greet in and out would help who shops here but unfortunately they just human machine with no smile. Management add this to your trainings. You know where your business is?

Not organised the items properly and some basic items are not visible and half of billing staff try to avoid billing at their counter and ask you to move to next counter. Prices are little high comparing to other stores in city. Not all items have prices and they bill whatever they want.maintain very cleanliness and staff will run the vacuum and mop over you legs if you dont give a way for their job. That much cleanliness they keep. arrogant staff.

What an unprofessional and unpleasant place to shop. We were there few days ago and we didnt feel comfortable using a bank card and we paid with a card that had a low balance. There was a gentleman standing at the register and he started speaking Hindi to the lady cashier. He appeared to be the owner because fews time we have been in the store, we have witnessed him glued to the front register. So he talks about people of color in Hindi saying we cant afford to shop there and he said bhukampa pidit poor and he and the lady cashier started making jokes and laughing at us. Little did he knew that we comprehend and speak Hindi. BAD BUSINESS.

Went today for items for Hair growth. The store was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions on items to buy. Will definitely return .

Least helpful, and rude customer service. The guy answering the phone sounds like hes yelling at you while answering even simple questions. And an older looking guy just sits by the checkout counter staring creepily at you most of the time.

Nice shop.Ive only come here to buy incense, but it is a very large grocery store with a lot to choose from. One day Ill have to shop and look around, they have quite a lot to choose from.

Well stocked and lots of choices. Items are not however, always clearly labeled. Prices are very reasonable to expensive. Lots of fresh vegetables. Fresh chappatis are great.Staff is ok, not very friendly. Some are really unfriendly and rude. Many items dont have price tags and it is a project to try to find the price. The stocking people are too busy stocking to answer any questions. Some of them have difficulty with English and just nods. Clean place. Friendly staff will go a long way to make this store fun to go to.

Worst staff ....very rude behavior. Neither the owner’s wife nor the Check out staff has etiquette regarding how to talk with customers. They don’t greet you and are always with sad/crying faces. The frozen foods especially the rotis are horrible /stale. This happened to me twice. I bought rotis and when I came home and opened it it was completely stale with traces of fungi ( the green stuff on all the rotis ). The next day I took the stuff/rotis to the store to show the owner and he refused to exchange /refund it .Instead he told me to trash the old pack and take a new one .That’s ridiculous!!!!! On many occasions I have seen small insects in Wheat flour ( Atta ) and Sona Masoori Rice and was forced to trash it as the owner is horrible and never exchange or refund your money even though the stuff is bad!!! Beware !!Way too expensive!!!
