I’ve been looking for 12 gauge for awhile. Found it here for around 40 cents a round. Almost better then anywhere I could find online. Excellent gun selection. Ted took the time to explain the different guns to my son and I not laughing when he dispelled some modern warfare stereotypes for my son. Spent over 30 minutes here and was very comfortable environment.

I bought my gun from here and got sent to work in Orlando so I was late picking my gun up from the mandatory 3 day hold. I left straight from work and walked up and the manager locked the door in my face and told me they were closed. I even called three times on my way there BC I knew I was cutting it close but even tho he talked to me I guess he couldnt hand mey gun that I already paid for. WORST GUN STORE EVER

Overall, my experience at Wild West was great! They have a great selection and pretty good prices, all things considering with everything going on right now. The staff was friendly as well. My only complaint is that one of the sales guys I was talking to started bragging about how he only gets out to the range like once a year... kinda made me rethink listening to his opinion on the guns he was showing me. Other than that I highly recommend this store for anyone looking to satisfy their firearm needs!

Did not have any magazines for an ak rifle. I was watched the whole time with no one asking if I needed help. I also asked for a magazine for a 30 06 and they said they didn’t have it and offered no assistance to order one or direct me to where I could get it. Poor customer service hands down. 👎

So I have been wanting to start start working on my pistol wish list. Finding out that the ones I desire or sold out or the Gun Stores just didnt have the time for me. I do realize that many are panic buying and the demand is high. So when a coworker told me about WWG&G I thought what the hell. Walked and was greeted right away. The man behind the counter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Was up front about everything I didnt ask but needed to know and answered all my question. I was able to put the gun I wanted on order and even saw another that I wanted. In short it was refreshing to walk into a store and be treated like a human being and equal. Purchased my first firearm from WWG&G on Monday. I was assisted immediately by a polite and knowledgeable sales associate (who I would name if I wasn’t trash with names.) Nothing was sugar coated or up-sold, just tried to find the right fit for me. After the transaction, I did encounter a minor discrepancy. I emailed Victor, who contacted me back VERY QUICKLY and we managed to work out that it was a simple misunderstanding on my end. Victor still went above and beyond to accommodate me, even after we had concluded that the fault was my own.If you want to spend your hard earned money on a local business that appreciates you and your patronage, this is the place to go.Also, ask to speak to the 4 pawed associate behind the counter. Was told about this place from a buddy who is family friends and a long time shopper with the owner, Victor. They have a nice large selection on guns, knives, accessories, and outdoor supplies. The sales associate was knowledgeable, attentive, and patient as well. He helped me go through several handguns before I found the right one for my first personal purchase (prior military exp.). Their layaway program is very fair and I was able to make small payments for a couple of months without breaking the bank before I was ready to take the gun home (after a 20% deposit. They will take gold for the deposit.) I had no problem making the trip from the Southside to Lane AVE every weekend to pay these guys a visit. Background was quick and no hassle. Victor and the older bearded gentleman (didnt catch his name) were quick and friendly everytime I came to make a payment and made me feel like an appreciated customer. I never left the store with a question unanswered or a negative experience. I will definitely be returning to pick up a new hunting rifle from these guys ASAP. Highly recommended!

Went in to compare two firearms that I have been wanting to get. I dont know the guys name but he had great customer service. Was able to pull out both firearms and made my decision right there and then. Great customer service with no pressure buying and a great price compared to other shops. They also have a dog at the shop and is very friendly. Definitely will be coming back.

Sales associate was a good guy, but they falsely advertise price matching and best price guarantees. Had an add for a S&W shield 9mm and the manager would not honor the price because they are “in high demand” the gun was available at the other store so I purchased from there. Will think twice before returning.

I made a deal with the owner trading in a used gun towards a new one. He is a straight shooter and gave me a fair price for my revolver. The prices in the shop reflect “street” price and not MSRP. Would recommend for sure. I actually sent my buddy a pic on a used gun they had to go grab himself. Selection is above average, but I wouldn’t say extensive. I liked what I saw, and they were very nice and helpful.

First experiences whether over the phone or through email are critical to ensuring consumers have a positive experience with any retailer. My first experiences with this store were very poor and I ultimately decided to buy elsewhere.On December 5, I called to ask about the availability of an item and if its something they carried/could order. They said I had to come into the store to get that information. Pricing I understand not providing, but my question was whether or not they even carried a certain brand. I made it into the store on December 9, and was able to ask the questions. On December 10th, I emailed Victor (since they dont answer questions over the phone) asking when the item could arrive had I come back into the store that day or the next to purchase. I have not yet gotten a response and its been 10 days. In that 10 days, I ordered through a different FFL online, had the item shipped to a different local store, and get it faster than I wouldve trying to order through Wild West.Their phone/email support is non-existent. Take your number/email off your website if you dont answer questions/provide support without going into the store.Edit: He called me back a few minutes after writing this review. Did not answer as I now have no need to speak with them.

I didnt know much about hunting around Florida, so the manager and another employee stopped doing their job in the back just to come out and assist me and explain more about the different types of rifles, calibers, and optics that would be good dependent on what i was trying to hunt for. I bought a sporting clays shotgun for the BEST PRICE in town (BY FAR) and it was backed by an incredible customer satisfaction experience. Not only did I NOT get attitude when I came in a half an hour before closing, I was helped immediately and was out 5 mins before closing. I am giving this a 3 star only because I have bought from them in the past, and had nothing but good CS and pricing....but my recent (last Saturday 8/29/30) experience was: They were more worried about me being masked than customer service, I waited 20 minutes for someone to offer to assist me and nothing, I was going to buy a handgun they had in stock, but opted to go somewhere else because of the no customer service and all of the BS being talked by people NOT looking to buy....not a good way to run a business!!!

Maybe I caught them on a bad day but the staff was slightly rude and at one point I leaned over to look at the price tag on a gun behind the counter and I was shouted at for leaning over...for the rest of my time there I had a staff member on the other side of the counter walk beside me....definitely felt like they didnt want my business

Amazing customer service. It was a busy Saturday and the gentleman Ray who is normally the jeweler came over to help with the congestion. He gave us absolutely great customer service and Im going back very soon go get the gun he showed. Very knowledgeable staff and a great selection. They unfortunately didnt have the gun I wanted but I will check back until I can get it. I refuse to purchase anywhere else after this transaction. Best layaway plan in town. 20% down on the gun and no time limit on how long u pay it off as long as you make a payment every 2 weeks. Only downside, the gun I wanted to get was sold out, they had it ordered but could not give me a estimate of when itd be in, and they get shipments in EVERY day. So Ill be checking in every day til they have the gun I want.

Awesome crew, with extremely high standards. I purchased a Remington R-1, 1911. When i took it to the range to shoot, it did not fire. After contacting Remington, they informed me there would be charges to repair the firearm to specs. I took it back to the store, and the outstanding crew had ordered me a NEW firearm, and swapped everything out without any questions. I’ve done business with WWG&G for a couple of years and they have really great quality firearms. I’ve given them good reviews in the past. I went in to see what I could get in trade for a Springfield Operator 1911 I paid more than $1400 for just 9 short months ago from the same store and was surprised to find the owner wouldn’t even consider $900 as trade in value, even with extra clips (4), holster and clip holder, which I bought separately. He didn’t even want to give me more than trade in on a $750 revolver I had my eye on. I’ve bought several guns from them in the last few years and have been highly satisfied until now. Not wanting to even give half of what I paid for the weapon as trade in tells me I paid too much for it to begin with. I initially asked for $900 and was told no, then I asked for the revolver as trade in and was told no again. I’ve sent others to them over the years, I’ll never do business again with them. They’re not the only gun show in town.BTW, I notice they only respond to positive reviews most of the time...Be sure to research other stores before going here. You may realize too late that you paid more than you should have.

Immediately had someone walk up and ask me what I was looking for. Personnel were knowledgeable and were willing to help in any way they could. They also had a decent selection of pistols and rifles. I work with a few guys that buy from them often that recommended the place: Rudy spoke highly of you Victor. Didn’t get to meet you though!Might have some buyers remorse, though lol. Probably should have went with a p320xcompact instead of the 365xl.. So to anyone with the itch: 365xl is great for conceal but just a LITTLE too small.

I went to look at some guns yesterday 3/20/19 with a good friend at Wild West. He suggested we go after getting a gun on sale there...I live on otherside of town so it was a stretch but I went...point is I was definately serious about shopping. After looking at several different fire arms an older gentlemen( Im not sure if it was the owner )made a comment to my friend and I you can only look at 2 guns without buying .... He said this and at 1st I thought he was kidding (which he was, sorta i think) but then he followed it up and said guys seriously youve looked at several guns get your money out and do something were not here just to show your guns.... He walked away shaking his head, And kind of mumbling some stuff under his breath.... he was obviously not in a good mood, not happy, something.... but it was enough for me to tell my friend I wanted to leave and I wasnt gonna buy a gun there..... We had been there about 20 minutes and by the way there was plenty of help there it was not crowded.... There was him as well as a few other guys behind the gun counter.Ive never been made to feel the way they made me feel there when he said what he did.... I would never walk back in that store again... his attitude stunk, and (Im kind of assuming he was the owner) was bad... at best.... and I dont typically get hacked that easy...anyway, this was my experience there...no more, no less....

Called to see if Wild West Guns & Gold would price match a gun shooters had on sale, the guy said yes, I said I would be there in 30 minutes to buy the gun, he said ok. I get there 20 minutes later and told the guy I called about the gun, he says, oh yeah, we sold it. Left instantly and went to Shooters, no hastle, easy transaction, purchased gun for agreed sale price. Wild West Guns & Gold will not get an opportunity to waste my time again.

This is one of the very few Firearm stores in the state of florida i will deal with. Shooters i end up waiting extensive amounts of time before I am helped. Everytime i go to WW they are they there to help me right off the bat unless of course they are helping other people but i never waiting longer than like 5 minutes. They are a great place friendly enviroment, the only time i didnt purchase through them was when a H&K VP9 was on sale and sold out everywhere but shooters. Bought 2 Tikkas, mounts, and a Leupold scope last month from Wild West. It started with a phone call, in which John took the time to answer my questions and look up a couple of items. When I arrived at the store, he helped me courteously, and offered an attractive price on a rifle I had not previously considered. That Tikka 30-06 shot a 5/8 100 yard group out of the box! Impressed with gun and service, I inquired about a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor a week later. John informed me that their supplier was out, but I could order from any online service, have it sent to them, and they would treat me just as if I bought it from them. He followed through asHe stated and I purchased the Leupold and mounts from them for that rifle, too. They also mounted the scope and bore sighted, and discounted some ammo as well. All this at a busy time, too. Very good experience! Will recommend to others and buy more there in the future as well. Lets just say, when the time comes for my next gun purchase, this is where Ill return. Ive made 3 gun purchases from here in the past 2 years. These guys know their stuff, get in no hurry trying to talk you into buying something that your not looking for. Let me also say that I put a gun in layaway. 2 weeks after, my wife had a stroke. She was not able to work, hospital bills ect... Going to be tuff to pay for my layaway. I call to cancel my layaway. Im told itll cost me a 20% restocking fee. Store policy, it is what it is. I explained my current situation.. Now, get this... Im told if I want the gun, pay what I can, when I can just stay in contact with them and theyll work with me on it. Where, in todays world will you find customer service like that? Nowhere around here. Ive been a very satisfied customer for several years. Good selection of pre-owned firearms as well as NIB. Prices are about as reasonable as they come. I dont shop anywhere else before stopping here first. I was looking for a gadget holder for my AR. They didnt have what I was looking for but highly recommended another place to look. Thanks for the great customer service and helping me keep my pocket change under control.

What can i say, the staff at WWGG are top notch. Friendly, courteous & knowledgeable. My Fiance and I received remarkable service from the moment we stepped up to the counter to the second we walked out the door happy customers. There was a slight mix up in communication about me needing a fishing license in order to purchase a rifle with an out of state ID. Without going into too much detail Ill just say, WWGG went above and beyond to remedy the situation. I found my way to WWGG after another larger, cheaper shop in JAX denied me service because of their own ignorance of the laws. Just goes to show you, cheaper isnt always better and you get what you pay for, that doesnt just apply to the item(s) youre buying, it goes for the service as well. I purchased one gun a couple of years ago from them and came back today for some other accessories and products and was treated very well. Prices are reasonable and the service was excellent even on a very busy day.

Terrible, and from a couple of these posts I see they work at WW. They are Rude, OVERPRICED, Talk down to you, if you say something negative about their prices, or say you can buy cheaper at Shooters or Green Arcers the demand you leave. The old Biker Wanna Be even put his hand on his gun after I responded, when I said they were overpriced and he told me to F*^& myself.GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE, THEY LIE, THE STORE IS CRAMPED AND DIRTY AND ALL BUT THE LADY ARE RUDE BIKER WANNA BEs. I am retired ARMY and former Law-enforcement, I will never buy here.

The owner is one of the rudest people I have met. Would suggest never doing business here.
