I was there over 6 months ago for just a small problem trying to remove (just wouldn’t come out) and replace with a new lamp bulb. The two guys there were just so nice and helpful and fun to talk to. I guess no job is too small for them. I would definitely go back.

Excellent service at a reasonable price! The switch on my living room lamp did not work properly. After several months of not using the lamp because I didnt want to go through the trouble of dropping it off somewhere then going back to pick it up. I call American Import Lighting. I explained the problem and was told to bring it by and they would replace the switch while I wait. 15 minutes after I walked in, I walked out with a working lamp! And the cost was very reasonable! The service was fantastic and the employees were friendly and informative. I regret not getting my lamp repaired months ago! I highly recommend going to American Import Lighting for any of your fixture needs or repairs!

I went in with an older lamp and the cord was frayed. Wayne said He could fix it in 10 minutes. I was thrilled because I had quite long trip to find someone that could fix my lamp. He did fix it for a very reasonable price, checked to make sure it worked and then showed me how it needed a three way bulb and how dangerous it is not to use a three way bulb in a lamp that requires one. I was so thrilled to get my lamp fixed so quickly!!!

Wayne did a great job repairing my antique brass chandelier. He was friendly, took very good care of the chandelier, and the price was very reasonable!

I took my lamp in for repair. It was an imported/ outdoor lamp and we knew we would not be able to fix it ourselves. The repair service AMERICAN Import Lighting offers had it fixed in less than an hour. Their showroom is very nice and had great looking lamps and chandeliers.Very pleased.

I can not say enough nice things about the two gentlemen that work in this store. I received a beaded light fixture that was damaged. The company from which I ordered was out if stock of the fixture! I took the light fixture there and they repaired it in 5 minutes. I hope to purchase lights from them in the future. The store has a great selection of light fixtures and light bulbs.

I took in three older lamps for various types of repairs. They did an excellent job repairing all three lamps. Customer service was excellent both friendly and professional.

I have shopped here for more than 17 years with Mr.Nasrallah. I was happy to see him at 86 years young still at it- providing great customer service. He and his staff do a great job. Most recently, I interacted with Wayne because I had a brand new lamp that would not turn. I called to ask if they still did repairs and even though it was less than thirty minutes to closing when I arrived, Wayne took it in the back and ended up completely rewiring it, putting a new plug on it and getting it fully working! Please keep this kind of craftsmanship and service alive by buying locally with knowledgeable, customer service oriented folks like these guys!

It is truly unfortunate that I had not visited this store before today. I brought a floor lamp to American Import Lighting for repair that had been damaged in a recent move. I considered this a bit of a chore as I live 50 minutes away, but the lamp was expensive and American Import Lighting had great reviews. I expected to have to leave the lamp and come back for it once repaired, however Wayne was able to fix the lamp in 5 minutes saving me a second trip. Totally worth the 2 hr. round trip as these guys really know their business. I will absolutely use them for my upcoming lighting projects.

The owner of the store is an extremely rude and misogynistic old man . I drove 45 min to this store to find a replacement piece for a pendant light that I had purchased from them many years ago when I built my house . Instead of helping me he repeatedly made fun me for thinking they would still have that product . He literally huffed at me and walked away ! I also needed a new lampshade . When I asked where they were he said over there, first door on your right . Keep in mind, there were no other customers in the store .I found a room with no lights on . After I found the switch I saw the shades . I was starting to feel uncomfortable and unsafe . Ill never go there again. I would strongly recommend that any woman shopping alone for lighting steer clear of this establishment !

We purchased four Regency outdoor fans from AIL several years ago for our home 1 1/2 blocks from ocean. The fans have held up remarkably except for one of the fans has become slower at all speeds. I called AIL recently to ask what I could do. On the call a person named Wayne Prothero became involved in the conversation and he told me it was most likely the capacitor on that fan needed to be replaced. He then told me he would see if he had one in the store and would come by my home and replace himself. It turned out, he did not have any capacitors however within one week he was at my house and replaced all four capacitors and switches. Although I was prepared to pay at least for his time, he did not charge me anything. All of the fans are operating better than ever. Thanks to Wayne for getting it done with a good attitude!!

Wonderful store With large selection and friendly sales staff

Well we walked in to find a light to go over our dining room table. We walked around looking at everything and finally found 2 lights that we wanted. We see the guy putting the closed sign on the door. I apologized that we were here at closing and he said they closed 30 minutes ago. I apologized and said he shouldve told us they were closed. He said well its ok we dont want to turn away customers. He then proceeded to tell me that the owner on the other hand was ready to go. I said ok can we go ahead and get those lights. His response was well it would take us about 15 minutes to pack everything up and the owner is ready to leave. Ok so u mean to tell me u just walked me around this entire place and helped us pick out lights and then when we are ready to buy not one but 2 expensive lights u tell us ur closing now??? Seriously??? We wont be back to purchase these lights. We will take our business elsewhere. All u had to do was tell us when we walked in that u were closed. But instead u say u didnt want to turn away business, only to end up turning us away! Thanks a lot! You just gave someone else our money bc it isnt going to you! Hope the owner got home!!!
