Had my 2005 Sienna windshield replaced. They did a great job. Would highly recommend.

No way to speak to a person over the phone. They have a chat that I attempted but that was a 15 to 20 minute wait. According to the website, they do same day chip repairs if you are there by 2:00. When I got there it was At Least an hour wait for them to get to my truck. I drove 20+ miles to get this repair done. If they dont care enough to speak to customers in person, to let them know of a wait before going, I dont need to do business with them. I got the chip repaired at another auto glass shop, and was on my way home withing an hour. They think because they are a national corporation you have to use them. But YOU DONT. Use a local shop they will appreciate you.

Absolutely no one to talk to and you call that good customer service what a joke. I find it pretty arrogant that you think everyone has a smartphone or a computer at their access. Hey safelite just so youre aware some people cant afford those luxuries and also have you thought about the elderly folks in this world who dont know how to use those. Customer service =-2. I wont be spending my money here.

It was good. No problem with workmanship. They could have informed me prior that it would be 3 hours instead of 1 hour, because of lane detection camera had to be calibrated. Not a huge deal.

Went to have warranty work done from over a year ago the installation date. Passenger side of windshield wasnt seated properly so the cowl piece wouldnt stay snapped in. Is it okay now? Time will tell.

Very helpful & honest. They actually told me the windshield was already fixed, so they couldnt repair it further. Then showed me some alternatives & saved me 600.00!

My drivers side window fell into the door while at a toll booth in IL, after a few minutes of research we discovered this was going to be our best option. Not knowing if an appointment was available and only 2 hours before they closed we headed here. Within minutes of being there they had my car in the garage and were looking at it and within 20 min my window was taped up and we were back on the road. The gentleman who helped me and my mom were very polite and helped relieve a lot of stress since I’m on vacation from MI and we didn’t really have the time to deal with such a problem.

Great service! Justin called to give me a notice that he was on his way to repair my windshield, and arrived right on time. He explained what he was going to do, and gave me a time approximation. The entire service took no longer than 20 minutes, and the car was ready to take on the road right away! Extremely friendly and stress free service! Job well done, and overall I am very happy with the experience.

Had an appointment to have my auto glass replaced today. Got a reminder email yesterday. Tech called at the time my appointment was supposed to start to say they didnt get my glass in and dont know when it will be in.

The people here are polite, but their repair on a half inch crack failed. Now I have to pay over $700 to have my brand new cars windshield replaced and the driving assist cameras recalibrated.If you dont have a $0 glass deductible like I foolishly dont, save your money and cover your teeny tiny dings with masking tape until youre prepared for a sky high replacement bill.Im extremely upset that the tech didnt warn me about this possibility before I let him work on the crack. If your repair fails and further damages the vehicle, you should eat that cost of replacing the part at 100%.Edit: I specifically asked of the manager I spoke with about this on the phone that he let my spouse deal with this, because conflict resolution issues with businesses give me panic attacks. I asked for an email summary of what occurred because no one had me sign any paperwork or explained that the repair process itself could cause the crack to spread until after the fact, and had to argue about the fact that no one did adequately explain this or else Id have preferred to not have the service done at all. I understood that temperature fluctuations and the weather could expand the crack later. I did not understand that the repair process could expand the crack into a full break to the very edge of the windshield. The manager then emailed me as I asked, but addressed me with the wrong name. I dont know how he got my spouses last name, but thats not my name on my insurance or my email, and its not my legal name on my drivers license or on the lease or registration of my car, and using my spouses name instead of my legal name leads to a lot of problems with banks and the post office, and anything official, to the point where my spouse then has to go with me and we both have to show IDs. So its a bit of a problem that I also dont appreciate.If there is $0 charged to me for the repair, because of the contract with my insurance, then I was told by the technician that $0 would be deducted from the repair, which I made perfectly clear before the technician even took my keys that I could not afford or Id just take it to the dealership.This information is not helpful, nor is it appreciated, and I wish your people would stop communicating with me. If you have access to my spouses last name (presumably through our insurance), then presumably you can call him and talk to him about the supposed misunderstanding.

Our technician, Allen ID 1867-453 was extremely courteous and worked very hard and quickly to change out our windshield. Allen was very personable in explaining what he doing. Allen was also able to transfer the existing windshield decals to the new windshield. We really appreciate Allens professionalism and attention to detail. The entire procedure was pleasureable and we are appreciative of Allens efforts.

Paul was great to work with, cleaned all our windows and even vacuumed out the car for us. He saved our window stickers too. Polite and professional service all around.

The employees were pleasant however my brand new car had dark stains around the inside of the windshield and the antenna was reattached crookedly. They also did not properly configure the windshield and my appointment was rescheduled multiple times due to materials arriving broken. When I returned to have these issues addressed, I did not feel very welcome.

I scheduled my appointment at paid for the service at that time. A week later on the day of my appointment Safelite cancelled due to a tech calling in sick. Yes thats right one person calling in sick shut down a National company. When they rescheduled for the following day the tech arrived with out the supplies to actually perform the work! He did not have the molding for around the windshield, was shocked that the molding currently on my 11 year old car was OLD! He told me he would have to reschedule for another week out!! That would be two from when I made the appointment and PAID for the service! When I explained I would be out of town that day for the weekend the Tech had the nerve to tell me to take another vehicle and leave mine at home if I wanted it fixed! At this time my fiancé called the customer service department and at first they were not willing to do anything to fix the problem. After some strong convincing they said they would come the following day and pick up my vehicle and take it to their shop to be fixed a four hour time frame instead of the hour service they advertise. My windshield was fixed and I was refunded $52 for my troubles! I am outraged by the customer service of this company. I have told everyone I know to never use Safelite and will continue to share my Terrible experience with every one I can! DO NOT USE SAFELITE

They replaced my windshield after it spiderwebbed. $416 dollars, okay..but then I got on the interstate it made a really loud humming noise. I called, they said it was an air leak and sent someone out to fix it. Great..until I got on the interstate again and it still hummed. I called back, I drove to the shop in Janesville because I wanted it to be done right. They had it for an hour and a half, no big deal..except on my way home it STILL hummed. I’m fed up!! What an awful experience. So now my windshield isn’t broken but my car sounds like it’s going to blast off everytime I go above 55mph.

We had a windshield replaced by the Janesville location and the windshield was leaking air by the seal after the new windshield was replaced. We called them back to warranty the windshield and remove and reinstall the windshield again. Again the windshield leaking air on passenger side of the vehicle. Called yet a third time and I was obviously frustrated and had to speak with the manager. Upon voicing my frustration he was very rude about the situation and accused me of treating his techs poorly. This is completely untrue and highly unprofessional of him to clearly not have factual information about a situation, and try to call me out on something he knows nothing about because it never happened. Staying focused on his employees doing quality work and not having to do a job 3 times to get it right may be a better idea. His employees were all friendly and timely, but beware of this shop that is being ran by this unprofessional individual.

I had the worst experience at this place. I went there with a very small chip from a rock (within an hour of it happening) and they said they repaired it but while repairing it that it spread a little more but guaranteed me it would not chip any farther. Within hours it started cracking more and now has completely cracked over 6 inches and it has been 4 days since it was repaired! Now they are telling me I have to pay for a whole new windshield and are trying to charge me $475! I have contacted 3 other companies and everyone else is between $284-$329 for the same service. I should not have to pay for a new windshield when their technician ruined my windshield! It is ridiculous! I will never take my vehicle to another Safwlite again and would highly recommend others to reconsider taking their vehicle there.
