Wow we have had the same problems as lots of other people. Call to get them to come out for a problem. They fix it. Few weeks later, problem happens again. They fix it again. Then when it fails again, I call another company.It gets fixed and has been fixed correctly ever since.

Can not say enough good about the service and staff all around! They accommodated to my needs, and at an incredible turn around time. Thank you again!!!

When my Liftmaster finally died after 20+ years, I called Janesville Door. I called on friday and they came the next monday. The installer was right on time and took less than 2 hours to remove and replace. Then I didnt even have to pay the guy, they sent me a bill. It was a great experience.

The original installer of our door opener (not this company) did not put the opener on the stud, so it fell on our cars...on a Saturday evening... so I called Janesville door freaking out and the guy got there literally right away, and fixed it really fast. The opener never worked right until this guy got to it, all of a sudden the lights in it worked, the sensor worked, and it went up and down smoother. We were pleasantly surprised by the price too! We are so THRILLED!

My garage door was not working in the beginning of December. Janesville Door sent a technician out who fixed the spring and left. The door still didnt work and Janesville Doors came back and now replaced a Capacitor in the main unit saying that was the problem. $300+ later the door quite working again Janesville Door came back . The technician couldnt figure out what was wrong with the door but was able to to get the door to open and close. The technician said to call if we still had problema. I tried using the garage door an hour later and it didnt function. I had to call another door company for a repairs. While the other door company was here they informed me the wrong spring had been installed. I wrote an email to Derek the owner of the company and he informed me that someone must have been happy because the bill was paid. He told me to thank my significant other for.paying the bill and that there would be no refund. My significant other wrote an email complained to Derek and Derek did not resond. So Iwe paid $300+ to spend a month with a barely functioning door. This company has no ethics and would never ever recommended this company unless you have money to burn

Although the company responded quickly to get someone out to look at my garage door that wouldnt open, they have been here now a total of three times this year to fix the door. 1st time, said the roller and frame were loose and needed tightening and they supposed greased and tightened everything. Two days later door once again doesnt close or open properly and they come back and replaced something in the main unit. Now again the door is off kilter and they once again tell me the front rollers were wobbly and tightened them AGAIN. Each time I get charged a $60.00 trip charge. Last time he was here he only spent 15 mins. Not sure how thorough a job that is, so I can only hope nothing happens again. The tech did apologize, but I still have to pay them again for another visit. I have really mixed feelings about the company.

Fantastic experience! Chris, in the office, was great at getting us all the information, options and answering all of our questions. Derek did a great job on our install and was very personable. We will use Janesville Door for all our future garage door needs and will recommend them to all our friends and family!

AWESOME JOB !!, when they installed the door, they seen that 2 of the panels were warped just a little from the manufacturer, so they ordered a brand new door, and replaced the other one, at that time the installer asked if I wanted the opener lowered, and I said no, a month later I wished I had it lowered, so I called them to have it lowered expecting to pay full price, and they said 1/2 price is fine. And the quality of the hole installation was very good, thanks again

These are great people to work with! They bill you for the work after theyre done and give you 30 days to pay, and they have competitive pricing! They are professional and courteous and stand behind their work. Theyre the guys in the Big Black Trucks.

Fast, friendly service at a reasonable price. They stand by their work. Called at 7:30 last night and left a message. They called us at 7:20 this morning and they were here by 9:00 this morning. Cant argue with service like that.

Tried getting some information on a type of coil door that they had installed for one of my clients that builds in Wisconsin and other states. However, when I was put on the phone with Derek, I tried explaining the reason I was calling, and he interrupted me and ask where I was located. Because I am out of state he told me I am done with this conversation and hung up on me. All I was trying to do was talk to him about information regarding the doors they had installed for my clients previously. Completely rude and the most unprofessional person Ive ever talked to over the phone. I would never recommend them to anyone, and I am going to inform my clients so they never use them again as well.

Appointment time set. Technician was on time, repaired multiple garage door issues conveyed in the initial conversation, and the charges matched the estimate. The pricing was inline with other nearby shops, and at the time of this review, repairs were done over a year ago and are holding up just fine.

3 yrs ago it was 10 degrees in january and my door was crooked and spring had come un tensioned. i called late on a Wednesday and they were there on Thursday by 10am i live in cambridge. They fixed my door adjusted the track and re tensioned springs all for 65$ best money i have ever spent

Called every door place in town yesterday, got run arounds or never called back, pushed to get new opener over the one part I needed to fix mine, etc.I spoke with Janesville Door on the phone, was given options and prices on having their tech come replace part, or get new unit, or COME GET THE PART I NEED AND BANG IT OUT MYSELF IF I WANTED! Hell yes! Watched a couple vids on youtube, came to the shop, lady in office was super friendly, showed her my bag of broken parts and she knew exactly what I was looking for and bam, plopped new parts on counter, told me price, I paid and came home, knocked it out lickity split, adjusted per instructions and video I watched, works better now than it did when we bought this house 3 years ago.Customer service, good customer service is a rare thing these days, and to be given all options and prices up front, with friendly and knowledgeable staff is a huge plus. I believe that those who provided negative reviews may have confused Janesville Door with another company that uses a similar name. Be sure to verify which company you are working with.

I live in a senior condo apt. with underground parking. We waited over a month for a garage door repair/replacement. They showed up unannounced today to replace the door & trapped all our vehicles in the garage for hours. Janesville Door sent one person to do the installation. When told of pending appointments. he shrugged it off and said, I am just the installer. This garage houses vehicles for 48 units. After reading some of the reviews for this company, this customer service does not surprise me.

CRUMMY EXPERIENCE. Called 8am friday since garage door stuck with below freezing temps... one of THEIR PRODUCTS and was told technician would be out on Friday. My husband called them in the afternoon and was told technician coming. No technician. I called and left message on Friday evening and have yet to receive return phone call SEVERAL DAYS LATER. Bad business!! My friend had bad experience with them as well.

Listen up people, i must agree with the reviewer who said they are not an honest company. They lack integrity and are not interested in actually detrmining the problem and woukld prefer to make several trips and charge you each time (unable or unwilling to do a thorough root cause analysis). Their interest lies soley on getting your money and little, if any, on resolving the problem. 3 different trips to my home for the same issue and somehow they manage to still charge me. The receptionist was rude, uninterested and not concerned with what I had to say. she was also effective at talking over you while you are trying to explain. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Allow them to go out of business!!

Pretty disappointed, I had an appointment for an estimate for a new garage door installation on Friday 07/13/2018. They never showed up, never called. Guess my business was not worth their time.
