Giant eagle is always good! Has good produce and other products. Their food in the deli is good as well as the bakery.

My granddaughter ran into GE for me with my debit card, we have 2. She was using the pin for a different card, so my debit card didnt work and the cashier paid the bill with her own card! Who does that? The people at GE Penny Lane, thats who!

Our local giant eagle is always neat and clean. I like how they dont change the store around every 6 months like some do. I can always find things in the same place.

I would recommend that if you live in the area youre better off taking the time to drive to the GE in North Huntington. Every time I go to the Penny Lane store, it seems as if the prices are never consistent with what they advertise. On top of that, it seems as if it takes a really long time to check out even when its not busy. Not a fan of the customer service from the employees here either.

It is very organized and clean. The workers are very nice and helpful. And their donuts are very delicious 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

Got both vaccine doses here and the ladies in the pharmacy were all wonderful and very professional.

Had a special cake ordered on Friday for Sunday pick up... The order was there but the cake wasnt. The manager was kind and helped me out giving me a round cake for free - we wanted white/white and one was chocolate - I didnt know no one likes chocolate and I purchased another but the party people were disappointed the ordered cake wasnt there. And so was I. It put a damper on the event.

This place has went down hill. Treating customers like criminals. The cart cleaner yanked a cart from my wifes hands the other day. So unprofessional. We have been spending our hard earned money elsewhere now. The shopping experience is less stressful and the other stores appreciate us more.

Nice grocery store!

Dont live in area, taking granddaughter to her summer class when I needed a few groceries for dinner. A produce employee accused me of husking an ear of corn which was sitting in amongst the ears of corn. I had already put 2 ears in the bag when I saw this ear that was partially husked. He humiliated me with other people in the area. When I told him that it was just sitting there already like that, he called me a liar. I had my granddaughter with me and didnt want to set a bad example. I went to the store manager and he knew exactly who it was, which means this man has done this before. Needless to say, I will never stop at this store again. I will drive 10 miles before I stop at this store.

I ordered my hubbys birthday from the bakery. Ordering was easy. The person I spoke to was helpful. Above all, the cake was amazing! It looked great and tasted great! Thank you so much!

Hannah answered the phone and hung up immediately after I asked my question, didnt even answer. Wont ever be coming here if thats their definition of service. You should go to the Irwin store much better and much nicer people.

I know that there is a shortage of products but I have been having this issue for years.... they never have enough diet wild cherry Pepsi. They sell out so quickly. There are 10,000 6 packs of regular diet Pepsi, which is disgusting, and like 8 6 packs of the diet wild cherry pepsi. Its frustrating. If the shelf empties out in an afternoon then get more of that product and less of the other. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.

The people working behind the Deli at Penn Township were super rude. Nasty. Stopped shopping there when covid started, stopped in, after I swore I would go back in, well, will never set foot in any GE again.

Pharmacy staff are tremendous. The rest of the store? Well this is NOT a corporate store but a franchised one. Prices are normal Giant Eagle. Overall the place could do with a clean. There ARE NO SELF CHECKOUTS. Those have been broken for 2-3 years and the checkouts are now just blocked with ugly shelves. Therefore if you only need a few things be prepared for some really long waits at peak times and for your frozen stuff to be bagged with non-frozen, bags to be massively overloaded, etc.

The layout of this particular giant eagle is a little confusing, and it is a bit more expensive than Walmart. Overall though, its a decent grocery store with friendly staff.

Pretty good w big variety. I do wish they carried 2% prepackaged cheeses (Swiss, Pepper jack, provolone), and I like Nestlés fat-free coffee creamer, than sugar free, which I will not get.

Marie in the deli is first class.

Good place to grab what you need in a pinch. Great folks there that provide fast friendly and neighborly service.

The employees are genuinely nice and helpful. I asked if the had toothpicks to the employee stocking the shelves and he knew the exact place where they were at. Always a pleasure shopping at this Giant Eagle!

Check out was good but packaging the bags was not performed properly, mixed up meats with can goods including can goods with bread and chips. Stocking of shelves leaves a lot to be desired.

Very clean and friendly staff. The butcher is always willing to help when I need custom cut meats. Lisa is one that you can always find in the isles if you need help locating an item. No produce department is perfect when it comes to buying bagged items but the service counter always makes things right with replacement items.

If you are handicap and need one of the scooters this store isnt safe. I have always shopped here. Going with my father who has to use a walker I realized how unsafe this store is for accessing the scooters conveniently without risk of falling. I could barely get a scooter out for him to safely get into. They are sandwich together by the front entrance with barely any room to unplug one,sit in and then place your walker/cane in the basket. I did bring this to the managers attention. That this was a hazard for anyone handicap. Two weeks later there was no change to there set up. This will no longer be my local store if they cant do something that would cost them no money but just make a little more space for costumers to safely access the scooters.

Limited selection of products compared to other Giant Eagle stores. There is never anyone at the seafood counter to help you. These are the 2 reasons that I prefer the Greensburg and Irwin locations. However, it is always clean and shelves are always stocked. They have a convenient location which is usually why I find myself there.

Giant eagle pharmacy has the nicest people working there who take a genuine interest in what meds you are taking. I live them. And the store is finally having better sales and more of them.

We have been shopping here for 20 years. No more! Our daughter in law worked here for years and checked us out every time. Our daughter now works there and has been checking us out. One of the supervisors, Carlene, decided that we are no longer to use our daughters check out lane no matter how long the lines are elsewhere. Today when I was in I confronted her about it from a different lane. She took my daughter my daughter of her register and took her in the back for a talk with the store manager! When I asked to speak to the manager the supervisor insisted on being there. She yelled at me, and continously put her finger in my face. She told me daughter is a liar. The manger stood there and allowed to yell at and belittle a customer. This supervisor has been giving my daughter a hard time since she started. For a little background...my daughter is very good at her job. They had her training new cashiers after 2 weeks there. They dont let you train till you are there 6 months. She doesnt skip work, she doesnt complain, she is a hard worker. She is working her way through college. This woman has no reason to treat her or us this way. The manager even admitted that there is no written rule against checking out your family. The other cashiers in the store today told us that they check out their family members all the time. This was a calculated attack on my daughter. There are plenty of other stores to shop at.

I was able to find everything I needed, but a cupcake pan. They still get 5 stars because I was rung up by the most delightful woman named Carol. She was so friendly that I plan to shop here everytime Im in the area.

This GE has a decent variety for the size of the store -- its not like N. Huntingdon or Greensburg, gigantinormous. I actually find more variety in certain items HERE than in the bigger stores.The pharmacy staff is really friendly and they get to know you by sight AND by name. They even spend a minute or two just to chat - very relaxed. Id MUCH rather that then have someone who acts angry that Im at the counter.

I just went in there to grab a couple things before taking my son to a movie. I grabbed a bottle of Zico Coconut water due to the fact it had a save $.75 off coupon hanging on the neck of the bottle. When I was cashing out the coupon would not scan do too it was expired in April this is June. I didn’t make a big deal about it the cashier actually called the supervisor over without asking me and said hey can you take this song it was on the botto I didn’t make a big deal about it the cashier actually called the supervisor over without asking me and said hey can you take this off the coupon was on the bottle? She replied no it is a couple weeks old and I said well you better go check yourself because they all have the same coupon it’s not my responsibility to check your inventory and coupons. Such a stupid thing to upset a customer over right? On top of that I forgot to give Advantage card which would have save me another four dollars or so due to the rebuttal over a $.75 coupon. Seriously I get hundreds of dollars to this grocery store quickly and they will take a $.75 coupon that’s on their own merchandise? I just want shop. So I hope and $.75 worth it lolAgain I understand a coupon stand it but it’s expired but for Pete’s sake’s just manually take it off when you’re wrong you’re wrong it’s the principle of the matter

Not a place to go if you want in and out service. Very few lines opened and staffing at a minimum. They do this all from what I heard. Do not going there between 2 to 7. Pricing is high on many items.

They have more that other places but everything here is more expensive.They gasperks are great with gift cards. Go buy gift cards here for things you were going to buy anyhow and get the gas perks.Also their lottery centers are the best because they always have money to pay out unlike the stores like Cogos it Sheetz that have to worry about getting robbed.Do prepare to pay a lot more for groceries though.
