Excellent produce section, but they still have their salad bar closed because of covid. Very fine butcher shop also. The place is spacious, well-lighted, and a pleasure to shop in.

I feel like Im a burden on the employees day when I shop here. Approach the deli counter and maybe expect eye contact, but dont expect a greeting. Ask for 1/3 pound lunch meat? Expect 1/2 pound. The cashiers will then give you the final silent goodbye after they put their phone down.

Nothing to really see here. Its a grocery store where you get food, drinks, covid shots, produce, meat, gift cards, you get the gist of it.The store is going through some renovations or something when I was there and the entrance is kind of awkward. I hope they get it all cleaned up and nice. I am sure they will.There is nothing bad about this store. I gave it a 3 star rating cause its just a store and nothing fancy. So a 3 is good and you can go shopping here. The service is good also. So dont take 3 as a bad thing.Your Trustworthy Critic

Great place to shop. They have a unique selection of foods that arent offered at your regular grocery store. You can buy seafood and have it cooking while you shop! The customer service is great as well. The salad bar is fresh and the bakery is has a big selection as well. Children can help themselves to a free cookie at the bakery too!

We stopped on our way to the lake. Its a pretty big store. A full assortment of fresh and frozen items. We didnt need help, but the people we came across were friendly. It is a bit of a drive off of our route, but it was worth it .

This store has been pretty awesome for me. Most of the people are local, and they have a great sense of neighborship.

I always have a good experience coming here you can easily find everything staff is very friendly parking is pretty easy and they had quite a few different selections including the pharmacy so this place is one of the places that I recommend.

Some of the best produce in Jefferson city. Its a little more expensive, but certainly worth the extra money.

Decent place for groceries, usually has great 20.00 meat specials (4 packs @ 5.00ea). Roommate loves their sushi, especially on the 5.00 days where its all 5.00 and for grocery store sushi... its pretty decent. Not as big or good as Love Sushi, but its still great for the price. The bakery is also pretty awesome, having a large assortment of interesting donut flavors, but you have to get there early to get a pick... otherwise its gonna be slim. The only real negative for me is the layout... never really liked the split aisle thing and some of their stuff is a bit overpriced, which makes us default to Walmart for a lot of stuff. Wish it wasnt that way, but when you gotta save where you can, you shop at 3 or 4 places to get what you need without breaking the bank.

Quality grocery store. Well-stocked. Carries all staples needed. Pricing is reasonable.

Went to Schnucks in jeff to get soda sun-drop the price was so low wow i just had to get all i could that was awesome thanks schnucks.

This was my favor place until recently. A couple of old employees not so helpful and friendly anymore. And a the new faces you can tell is focus on completing their task but was still helpful. Except one the guy with the man balding in top of his head. He was very hesitant to assist another lady and straight out ignored me.It will be along time before I shop here again.

Pharmacy takes a while to I guess encourage shopping but its a neat place with lots of groceries

Terrible and they charged me twice for one order and had me debit my card 4 times and 1 transaction all were debited to my card 4 times and this is not the first time this happen. It will never happen again . abd cashier didnt even know her job .

Sharon in the sea food department is so nice! She even told me she would steam my shrimp there for me! They also have jack salmon. 5 star service and knowledge.

I live very close by and this is my go to grocery. I think their produce is some of the best in the area and pretty diverse as well. The staff is super helpful and friendly every time I go.

Restroom was clean. Donuts were good. Only 1 checker and he was friendly but incredibly slow. I dont like the self scan when I have bananas. There were 4 people in line when I lined up and more kept coming. Two employees in yellow vests were in the self check where no one was checking out. They were having a nice conversation and ignored the line.

Quick and speedy checkout

Has great deals on meat... especially the 4 for 20. Veggies are a bit expensive and a lower variety than other grocery stores... like Gerbes. Gerbes does have deals on a lot of their stuff, but Schnucks DEFINITELY outdoes Gerbes on the AMOUNT of meat you get, making the deal there MUCH better!

I love Schnucks. I live out in the boonies now and Schnucks is a to the city trip, usually accompanying a doctors visit. 😋

Love the wonderful selection of hard to find items, great customer service in the meat, deli and especially the seafood managers knowledge. But when I need to spend my $40 in food stamps I sometimes receive a 180 degree change in friendliness. That can really drive a loyal customer away.

It is a nice store. I just dont understand why stuff has to be expensive? Even their sale stuff is expensive. Dont grab a sweet or fresh bread cause somewhere within the pkg is GOLD! Wish a different and good store was in that location.

They have an excellent salad bar and deli. I think their meat department is really good, but it seems like the seafood was an after thought. It has a large fresh produce section and a small but decent bakery. It is the only bakery I have found challah bread at. Someone in purchasing really likes yogurt, because they have a good selection. The freezer aisles are always well stocked. For some reason, I really like the assortment of dried fruit and nuts.

Best grocery store in town. They have the best selection and products that are hard to find other than in big cities. For instance, they have creme fraiche. Havent found that at any of the other stores. They have high end Raos marinara sauce. They have multiple brands of Italian pastas. Organic milk. Still not a big city store or a Whole Foods, but its much better than Id expect in a city this size.

Schnucks has always been an A+ store. They always have wonderful produce and great selection throughout the store. Their staff is always helpful. Shelves always well stocked. I dont enjoy shopping for groceries. However, always like going to Schnucks.
