Such good ice cream! We made a special trip to Jeff City for this and it didn’t disappoint. Fun flavors and super rich and creamy. The ladies working were so friendly and nice waiting on us. Cute store too! Definitely will be back.

This place was recommended to us by tour guide Jim at the Missouri State Penitentiary, and he wasnt wrong!Lots of flavors to choose from (20?), with free samples. Entry flavor I tried was awesome. The employee who helped us was friendly, patient, and efficient. Waffle cones and bowls were fresh. Highly recommend!

We drive down from Macon, MO to Jeff City about 3 to 4 times a Summer just to enjoy their delicious ice cream fresh from the scoop. The flavors never disappoint and the grandkids love it. Well see you all again next year!

New ice cream place a block from Central Dairy. The service waa good... plenty of folks in there to handle the rush. Had some interesting flavors different from the norm... Tiger King Premium for example. They handmade the qaffle conea and bowls right there in front of you. My bowl was still warm when I got it. My favorite is mint chocolate chip. The Extremw Mint was excellent... very minty. Thoroughly enjoyed my yummy ice cream Id been craving for 2 weeks. It will be interesting to see if rhey open the garage doors when its cooler outaide.

Ice cream is great but the staff is very clearly not supervised. Employees were milling about with their hands in their pockets or stuffed in their aprons. The employee that served us pulled her hands out and started to prepare food but then said Oh I should put on gloves. Thats great but food safety standards dictate that one should wash ones hands before donning and after doffing gloves. Same employee handled their phone, touched their face, hair, and mouth, and was leaning against the wall with their gloved hands. Same employee started playing music over the in-store speakers at a ridiculous level, making all patrons visibly uncomfortable. Great product but a horrible presentation by the employees. Will not return.

This would be a great place, but no one was wearing a mask. The workers also weren’t wearing gloves, and they were touching everything in the shop. The place is kind of dirty, with cups everywhere. The staff was pretty nice. I got butter pecan ice cream and the consistency was weirdly powdery. As if the ice cream was made from powder. Definitely not going again.

Ice cream and service is great! I love the overall style and set up of the building. Plenty of seating and great perks for being a customer. Im curious to know if the owner really did get away with a DWI and killing an infant in the process ...... truly a sad deal If that is accurate.

Great flavors, although their pints looked like they were the left overs of the scooped ice cream and where they melted to ice cream to get it all poured into a container. This produced a extremely hard and icey pint... Which is unfortunate as it tastes nothing like the ice cream purchased by the scoop.

Ice cream was good, and the girls working were polite. But the entire building was dirty. Napkins on the floor, all tables sticky, ice cream melted on the tables, bathroom towel holder broken. They may have been understaffed for a Saturday evening. Hope they get help and it improves.

Genuinely disappointed with visit as I was looking forward to trying this location. The staff was friendly and location was nicely laid out. Reason for a bad review was the both my wife and my ice cream was icey, to the point we pitched our ice cream and went elsewhere. I got Gooey Butter Cake and wife got Caramel Apple. Not sure if just an off day or they are having trouble keeping ice cream at good quality.For those looking to take your kids, the location will be a good spot. The giant gumball machine and color changing spoons that come with each cup will definitely keep them happy. Hope the location does a better job with quality control of its flavors in the future, would be a good location otherwise.

It is well worth visiting if you love ice cream!A number of choices are available, cup, cone, waffle cone or bowl, and toppings galore. The ice cream is delicious, the store is lovely, with nice seating. You can get pints of ice cream to go, and they even have large tubs of ice cream to take home.Clean restrooms, too!

Delicious! I had the gooey butter cake ice cream and it was so good. I was able to try multiple other flavors which were also good, but dont feel they were leaps and bounds better than other places. The staff was nice and respectful.

Always tasty, very fine ingredients

The Rocky Road at my last 2 visits have been very hard and not creamy at all. This time I had mint chocolate chip and it was a smaller scoop than normal and the scoop was split in to 2 sections of melted together chocolate chips that were both parts larger than the spoon and not especially hard. It was pretty disappointing the last few trips. I might have to go back to the creamery down the street or if we dont make it before they close we will have to go elsewhere for ice cream.

I used to go to the Eldon Ice Cream Factory but we were passing the one in Jefferson City and decided to give it a try. They never disappoint their ice cream is delicious. Will definitely be stopping back again.

I was skeptical at first. In no time Ice Cream Factory has become my favorite ice cream spot in town.

The ice cream is awesome. And the whole look is great. The college kid staff is the problem. There was a shorter guy and blonde hair girl working and they were extremely rude. When I ordered from the menu he said “ well we don’t have that flavor so pick something else”. And the blonde girl couldn’t stop rolling her eyes.

I liked the ice cream and their shakes are amazing. I did not give it five stars because there are some sassy young girls that work there. the owner or manager should give this kids a class in customer service because some of them are lacking them.

I have a couple of big problems with Ice Cream Factory.EVERY time, and I mean every single time, I purchase a pre-packed pint - whether its from the shop or the grocery store - it has ice in it. My assumption is that the employees are using warm water to heat the scoops, and the water then gets into the container. Its disappointing to be enjoying a spoonful of ice cream and then feel a piece of actual ice in your mouth.On top of this, Ive noticed that the ice cream is often re-frozen. Once ice cream begins to melt you cannot re-freeze it. The melted ice cream becomes a bacteria breeding ground. It can cause food poisoning. Not only that, but re-frozen ice cream has a different texture. It becomes grainy and crystallized. (Ive noticed that several reviews have mentioned freezer-burnt ice cream and I assume theyre speaking of this texture.) Ive found this to be a problem in the pre-packed pints as well. Luckily the lids are clear, which makes it far easier to spot ice cream that has been melted and re-frozen.Hopefully these things can improve because the flavors that I have tried are quite good. Im sure some small process improvements could be made to ensure these things dont happen.

Staff was great and their service was quick and friendly. However, the ice cream... flavor is bland, not creamy or thick but almost freezer burned (ice cream flakes apart). If I was rating on the experience then it’s be 5 ⭐️

Today I had ice cream delivered to my kiddos and a few of their friends to brighten their day! Ice Cream Factory did an AMAZING job!! They were on time to each house and the kids loved the ice cream!! Will definitely use this service again!!

Try the Gooey butter cookie ice cream-- you wont regret it. Decent sized scoops, color changing spoons, and the fact that it is a local Mid-Missouri enterprise makes a visit here a must.

Somewhat overpriced for the quality of the ice cream. They do provide dairy free options, but other than that you might as well go to central dairy, which is just across the street

Ice cream is delicious and rich however the experience was awful. Walked in and was not greeted even though it was empty with multiple people working, had to talk to the employee first to order, he was nice! None were wearing gloves or a mask, it looks like no real precautions are being taken.

The cones are really good there. I got the coconut almond and it was so good!!
