I would not recommend them. High pressure salesman. And quality of work is questionable. Also tries to distract you with other issues when youre addressing an issue about their repair work. Paid over $800 for front suspension work and my car is driving a little worse after the repair work was done.

Friendly but not so much fights break out often in this place

I had a mechanic look at my truck abs they said everything was fine but i kept having hard suspension issue. I went there to have them change the wheels and the owner took to drive around the block a few times to actually try and find the issue. He found the issue pretty quickly and took a lot of time to listen andmake sure the car was fixed completely. I’ll continue to bring my truck there.

So unprofessional and so rude .. service quality is zero .. i went to this place with a flat tire .. the guy didnt want to fix it and offer me 50$ used tire and when i refused he said I cant fix it .. its Sunday night and nobody opens.. i forced to buy a used tire with 45 $ after negotiation ..Guess what the guy wasted an hour to install a new tire and after I done a asked him to check other tires just in case ..he asked for 5$ check fee that I never heard before in any store in NJ or even in New York although they have a huge post that free tires check ...i dont know the name of that guy but I think he is not the owner ..he alittle white skinny guy speaking Arabic.... i wish owner say my comment....but I am so unset of that place and I will never go back to it

This place is indeed corrupt. Read the negative reviews and believe them. I was in the area and needed an oil change so I stopped in. While I was waiting, Elle was talking to a fairly older guy telling him of additional issues with his car. Meanwhile, I’m thinking, he better not come to me with that BS. Well, he did. He tried to tell me my car has an oil leak and the pan needs to be dropped and so on. I’m like, I park this car in my driveway everyday and I have never seen any leaks. It’s been almost 6months since my last oil change I’m certain if it was leaking the warning light would have came on. He offered to fix it, I told him no thanks I have my own mechanic. Then he offered to give me a great deal to fix it and I again turned him down. I will never return there not even for air in my tire. Don’t trust them! Make sure you know your car well even if you are going for something as simple as a oil change.

This place is legit, I got an oil change in 15 minutes and the price was amazing. Ill be going back to do additional work for sure. Read a lot of complaints from people saying they went for one thing and were told about other issues, but if you have a problem and they catch it, whats wrong with that?

Would not recommend. I went for an oil change, which was a great price. Once they finished the oil change he said I needed new front break pads and new break pads and rotors for the back. So I got nervous and I called another mechanic (That I know) for a second opinion right after I left. The mechanic said everything was in perfect condition and I had a lot more life left of the break pads and rotors and didn’t need anything for a long long time. They thought just because I was a young girl they could get away with lying to me and try to get a couple hundred out of me. Complete scammers. Genuine people don’t exist anymore.

Extremely satisfied with the service I received on my brakes! The owner was extremely helpful and considerate. I ended up replacing my front brake pads as well and he gave me a great deal. I drive from NY to NJ for this service and will definitely do it again!

I wasnt going to say anything negative but I got so screwed over; guy was supposed to fix/replace a part...takes forever, eventually does fix it at another location, decides to drive my car back to his location instead of towing it back, gets into an accident, says hes going to fix everything, also says my transmission needs to be fixed, was working before I brought it to him, hes going to fix my transmission but apparently it had nothing to do with the accident, takes forever AGAIN...I go to pick up my car at not his location, car was not completely fixed, still charges me, goes on vacation so I have to wait to get it finished, couple weeks later, cars transmission stops working, now I have no car, wasted my money. Do not go to this auto shop, worst mistake I ever made for my car, guy seemed nice but not when it came to his work. Regret ever going to him, if I could rate him zero stars I would.

The guy gave us false info about tire puncture, forcing to replace the tire, so went to another shop near by and got the puncture fixed. Also the tire he offered was not that good and asking for more money than real tire quality.

All of 3 guys are brothers and you will have to guess who’s the better cone and liar to rip you off! They charged me for the service they never did. On top of that, at first they would be nice to you but when they see you actually know stuff about the market and pricing, they become so disrespectful. I had my brake pads and rotors replaced recently and Luis gave me a fair price, was responsive and got the work done well within the time frame I was given to.I used to go to Chariot’s auto in Jersey city and decided to give place a try because my regular spot was not being responsive and I was tired of waiting, not being treated good. I am glad I finally made a switch.

Took my car here for a couple of minor things, and -- would you know it -- it turns out I needed new brakes and a new wheel bearing. I was skeptical at first, but I verified online that I did indeed need these things (rotors were in bad shape and wheel bearing had play). The prices arent rock bottom, and if you shop around maybe you can do better, but I verified online that I was getting good prices.Ali is a nice guy. He will tell you that hes not making money on the parts, but he almost certainly is -- but that puts on par with every other mechanic.My one issue that takes my experience from a 5 to a 4 is that the shop didnt properly balance my tires. No worries, a couple days later they redid the job, no questions asked and now the car runs smooth.Ill be happy to return here and Ill update the rating when I do.To summarize, for this particular visit (out of 5)Knowledge: 5Honesty: 4.5Work: 3.5 (b/c tire balance)Value: 4People: 5You can come here with peace of mind

Honestly this was my best experience dealing with mechanics. Elias and Louie were very honest with me about what was wrong with my car and gave me a great price as well. I live in the area and these guys are life savers, on my way home all of a sudden i had no brakes, my foot was going all the way down to the floor, i stopped at 2 shops and they wouldnt even look at my car. they were the only shop in the area open till 7 pm. i had my brakes done recently at the dealer and they charged me a fortune, these guys checked my car and found out that the caliper hose was twisted, they fixed the hose and i got my car back the same day, i was surprised that they charge for the brakes way cheaper than the dealer.

Driveworks Tire and Auto Center has become my go to repair shop. They are very professional and courteous. They fully explain any problems that are found during service. I recommend!

I was able to sit right here and see the work being done and the parts come out. They changed the brakes and they did need to be replaced every one of them. And they performed that service. Reset the indicator light on the dashboard and I was good to go. Haven’t had a problem with that since. Great customer service. Very fair prise. Highly recommend them

They advertise 39.99 oil change plus filter but charge you way more ($63 in my case) without telling you before hand. I was planning to take both my cars for service tomorrow but changed my mind.The dude told me i needed to change this and that on my car, but when i took it to the dealership all they said was to change the rear brakes rather than the list of things that this dishonest shop gave me . These guys are true amateurs, don’t waste your time, money and breath trying to deal with this shopTake your business down the road to St Marks auto repair ( after the Auto zone shop) on communipaw, better and faster service.

This place is very good. I came in on a Sunday with a broken mirror on my passenger side and it was fix and ready for me on Tuesday. I will be returning to them again if anything else is wrong with my car. And the great thing about it that they are open on Sundays. Please check them out you wont regret it.

This is the worst place to take your car for anything. Save yourself the agony of having your car messed up! I took my car for oil change and they messed it. The guy doing oil change apparently did not know how to open the hood. In the process he yanked off some component. When i approached the guy in-charge he tried to deny responsibility. He implied that i came with the car broken while it was very obvious it was damaged at this place. He also tried to imply maybe the previous owner did! When i informed i am the only owner he reluctantly admitted he will find how to repair the damage. He was very rude, unprofessional and showboat. Look how he assumed the car had previous owner! Then boastfully told me My BMW there is bra...bla...These people are not the best to do any service to your car.

Driveworks is amazing. I came in to get my heat fixed and they got the job done in an timely fashion. Also ali is fair and willing to negotiate price for work.

If I could give negative stars I would. They are sneaky. Very. Unless you don’t mind being overcharged and have things done to your car that aren’t needed, then don’t come. You will be very unhappy. Elias likes to pick and choose who he tries to scheme on. He sees my boyfriend and I are young so he tried to play us out. I’ll never ever come here again. I had a check engine light due to some misfires on the car, I paid 400$+ for that. They’re lucky I had the money. Also, they damaged my rear passenger door. Dented and scratched the paint. And don’t trust all these 5 star reviews. They have their friends review the place for them.

Quick and cheap oil change, great service and friendly owner

I had to give them 1 star, because thats the minimum to write a review. They deserved nothing possible -5 stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I had the unfortunate idea to stop by this shop, because i was doing some paperwork near by on May 19th. I only requested to change the break pads, i was coming from a trip to Canada. They started working right away, but Elia approached me to let me know i had a oil leak, also the suspension control arms were worn out and my front shocks were old. Well i had only a budget of $800 and they proceed to take care of the break pads, the oil leak, the control arms and change the oil. As soon as i left i felt my car weird and i hear noises coming from the left tire mostly, but they were noises pretty much everywhere under the car. I went back next day and explained the situation, they were acting weird now, kind of secretive, whispering to each other ears, Elia went to the back and i asked Louie whats up? he didnt know what to answer he just went to look for Elia and then come back saying they have to check the car. Well then i got a called 6 hours later to let me know the one of the pieces was defective and they need to change it, but it was too late so the car needed to stay overnight, i agreed as long the car was okay next day. Next day at 4pm i called because they were about to close Elia was going to call me when he finish, he called me around 5.30pm i picked up the car, was working okay, but 2 days later the noises came back and it felt lose, to the point i didnt want to drive it anymore. I brought it to my usual mechanic and we found out these people made a total mess, they didnt attach properly the ball joint, they even use a saw to cut part of the car to correct their messy job. They broke a screw from one of the break pads. Now i had to pay $250 to fix the mess they did in my car. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE! THEY WOULD TRY TO SCAM YOU! AND SELL YOU STUFF YOU DONT EVEN NEED! ON TOP OF THAT THEY EVEN DO A HORRIBLE JOB!
