Rude! I went in asking for advice between airborne and elderberry that my guy and i could use while vacationing in New York and he says neither and proceeds to show me 3 different big bottles of things I didn’t ask about. When I said I would just go with the elderberry, he said why would you ask for my advice when you already knew what you wanted. First, I see why he was getting told off by his manager for not having an accurate deposit the night before because he doesn’t listen. Then I let him know that I didn’t ask his opinion about anything he showed me and although he said he was saving me money (how?) I was more concerned about product knowledge and customer service. His manager was right there but walked away.

Have been going here for years and have always appreciated the service! However, Daliza stands out and was by far the nicest help I’ve ever received!! As someone who works in retail I know what it’s like and she is what I would hope my team would be!!

Everything is over priced compared to online. Why would they price them so high and then give a price match offer when GNC online is showing the same product for less value? No wonder brick and mortar businesses are not surviving. Advise is to buy online or may be use this as a pick up place.

Why are you open? So you can’t go to the store at all and pickup what you need. 2 days to receive your protein and staff could not wait to get me off the phone. I need advice on which one works best for me, I can just get what I need from amazon for cheaper. People are not innovative anymore, I would of set up something outside so customers can talk to staff and bring products out once bought. Another day in a liberal city and another day of problems.

Sales people had no information on what they were selling.. also if your not gonna know atleast look like you know.. they are in horendous shape!! 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

One star for not updating your hours

The customer service attendant didnt apply my Pro Points 4x coupon to my purchase which is the only reason I rushed in to a store to make a purchase today.

Manager was super ghetto and unprofessional wouldnt give me her name kept hanging up.i would respect for a higher up representative for this brand to please have a talk with this manager.bad look for this store.

Its not cheap to stay healthy. GNC has their own line plus other brands to choose from. Its a plus if the store rep is well informed with their various selection otherwise research in depth before purchasing an item.

Products are kind of pricey. I do like how they label product sections with which item is a best seller.

Ive shopped and passed by this GNC. I can assure you the staffs only focus is to tailor to your needs as much as possible even if the product isnt available at that moment. The merchandise is well organized and you will definitely be greeted with a smile upon entrance!

I came in looking for a specific brand of vegan protein which they did have in stock. I asked one of the guys working there if he had heard of any reviews of the supplement I was about to buy and his response was I dont know much about it since it was released a month ago. Afterwards, he tried to BS me into buying the GNC brand of essentially the same formula that was more expensive. Already knowing the answer I asked what the difference was between the two and he didnt know. I worked with supplements for a few years prior to becoming a trainer and its always hilarious how little GNC employees actually know about supplements. My recommendation, do your own research prior to coming into ANY GNC store.

The store in the mall is a very well stock neat and organize for the customer to find what they want to buy.

Good place to pick up things if you cant wait but a bit pricey as with any retail store. Always buy online.

I was not too fond with this GNC. I came to get my usual vitamins and other supplements and this young associate kept following me throughout the store. He kept getting very close to me making me feel so uncomfortable. He kept asking me if there was anything I need and I already told him I know what Im looking for. He then continued to follow me throughout the store until I went to pay on my items. Then he tried pressuring me into buying other things I do not want and the fact that I had a certain budget, he proceed to pressure me into buy something more expensive. Needless to say, I wont be coming back to this GNC again.

I see many review were Everyone write how Gnc in Newport is so rude. How gnc in Newport mall is bad. Let me give you a real statement. If your reading this. You might think Im lying or something but Im going to be completely honest with you. The price of Gnc is expense. Their protein is over price but the staff is nice. I met a employer name Junior R. Let me tell you something. One of the best person I have met all day. He influence my friend to even purchase a item. Now everyone thinking we bought a 100 lb pound of protein. No we bought a protein snack. For one the protein snack are cheap and provide many vitamin to your body for a cheap price which is prefect. Their maybe a couple of bad employer their but if you ever come across a man name Junior R I promise you hes a humble young experience man. You would enjoy your time at Gnc if you was to come across the man name Junior R

4 visits1st was great2nd - asked for a supplement, guy told me that he doesnt know about that. He never heard of that. Sold some other stuff. Was in manhattan next day and found the supplement i was looking for. Checked online And it is one of the best selling supplement for GNC.3- went to return the supplement i bought from them. They said computer not working since morning and they were open. Went to other store and they told me .. Whenevr somebody wants to return something, this store computer stops working since morning.4 - Went to buy some stuff after checking reviews everywhere. Store guy wanted me to buy some expensive one. Asked me 10 time and during final checkout he said .. I am not responsible for ur stuff .. You are not going after my advice..Only reason to go there .. It is very near to my house
