Would not do any estimate at all

Gerber has been highly recommend to m for multiple things. This location however outdid themselves and those recommendation. They were very friendly and honest customer service was amazing. I had the pleasure of working with McKinley and he was wonderful he got my car taken care of and back to me before the estimated date which was January 7. I will be receiving my car back December 31. McKinley went above and beyond to make sure my car returned how I brought it. I highly recommend them.

I went to this location as it was recommended by my insurance company back in November 2019. The repair cost for the job (fix paint chip and repaint my driver side front fender) was cheaper out of pocket then my insurance deductible. I went to the location and I worked with Nick for the repair. He was real helpful and the job had a fast turn around time. I went back to this location in February 2020 to get my paint work redone as it was slightly off color but the entire staff was more than welcome to redo the work on my car free of charge since it was apart of their lifetime warranty. I am very pleased because the outcome looks amazing. The paint work matches the original and I will definitely love to come back to this location for any future work I will need. Thank you

I had to have my windshield replaced due to a crack. My insurance referred me to Gerber and I am extremely happy with the service I was provided. My technician Omar went above and beyond. He was able to meet me within a time frame that met my schedule. In the reception area the lady working there was very courteous and friendly as well. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. Thank you!

I used Gerber in Joliet recently to remove a scratch from my Denali. In less than 20 minutes the scratch was gone. The service was very fast, affordable and very high quality. In addition Gerber repaired my BMW fender after meeting a deer. Gerber is the only shop where I will take my autos.

TERRIBLE!! Made appointment for Saturday, called and confirmed appointment the Friday before they said I was all set to go. Sat around all day on a Saturday and they never called or showed up. Called on Sunday they said I don’t know what happened they were supposed to be there, we will gladly reschedule you. No thanks, this place is a joke!!!

If I could give 100 starts to this location, I would!!! They go above and beyond there duties, and are truly caring to people’s situations. I was helped through the whole process!!! Once I got to Enterprise after I dropped my car off I was informed of the wrong pricing for my rental prior to my reservation. I had to have enterprise bring me back to Gerber in Joliet and they were in total shock about what happened to me. They told me they would take care of me in the beginning but I wasn’t expecting what was coming next! They called enterprise back and PAID for my entire rental fee!!! I can’t express how much I would recommend this location. Tiffany and Ed are AMAZING at there job but just over all amazing people!! I am a single mother of 3 and this helped me sooo much!!!! Thank you Tiff and Ed!!!! Y’all are AMAZING!!!

Extremely nice individuals work here. Amanda specifically was one of the best people Ive ever had to work with about my car. She walked me through everything that was going to happen with my car and kept me updated on it. My accident happened in March, I just never got around to writing a review. HOWEVER, I did not realize until yesterday that they put my trunk on incorrectly. On the right side, there is a large gap between my tail light and my bumper, whereas the right side has a much tighter gap. And the lip of my trunk is popping up on the right. Im not very happy about this. Enterprise guys though are pretty nice and understanding.

I came here, among other auto body shops, to get an estimate for a damage repair. The blonde at the front desk seemed extremely inconvenienced since my information was not already in the computer system. Robert, an estimator, was very friendly and remembered me from a visit I had made 2 days prior. Unfortunately, another male came outside to provide an estimate for my car. Once he heard that I would be paying out of pocket, he wanted to know the estimates I received from other facilities. When I questioned why, he was very rude and told me to go somewhere else.

Customer service was ok. The contract stated 4 days of completion. Got a call on the 4th day and was told because of the disassembley the car won’t be ready for 3 more days. 3 days later I was told because of the holiday and other custom paint jobs on other cars my car wouldn’t be ready for 2 more days. When I pick up the car the colors didn’t match. I don’t understand why they just didn’t go to Chevy and get the right color. They added work that wasn’t in my original estimate. Because they were trying to blend the colors so it won’t look jacked up. I will contact my insurance company.

Neglected to cover my vehicle while painting a small repair they had done on rear drivers side fender molding. The rear bumper step plate which is black and a 52.00 decorative hitch plate is covered in overspray. Also had to bring vehicle back for them to replace two trim screws inside tail gate hatch that some knucklehead forgot to re install while finishing job. Ive tried different products to remove overspray to no avail. Wouldnt recommend anybody taking a car there for repair.

Took my car here to get my bumper replaced and painted on a monday they told me It would take 2-3 days. 3 days past havent gotten a call, I called the office myself and they told me my car was done since Tuesday. Went to go pick up my car and the bumper didnt even match the color of my car. So, they told me to bring it Monday and it will be done in 1 day. Didnt get a call on Tuesday so I called them myself again and no one answers. I called like 15 times then I gave up. Went to the shop the next day (Wednesday) they told me that their phones are down and that they apologize so I asked if my car was done and they said no, that they are barely putting it back together to come back later. If I could give this place zero stars I would. You dont realize how much you need a car until you dont have one.

I was at the shop today and was not happy with how the receptionist ask all your information in the opening. How about letting me fill out the paperwork or ask for my drivers license with my address & so forth thats on it especially with other people in the lobby. That was very unprofessional and as I sat there, another lady comes in and the same thing, this lady must had the experience I did here today from somewhere else and gave your receptionist her drivers license after a couple questions. I went to two other body shops for 2nd & 3rd estimate and they automatically have u fill out the paperwork.
