Used Rendels West for repair on my car, it looks amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Pete went above and beyond in helping on following through making sure I got my car back when promised. I had to go to and from the shop for a few weeks because I had to use the truck as it was being worked on and I am super pleased with the outcome my truck is running fantastic and the workers were always very helpful and patient I highly recommend them and am super grateful

I had required a mower and called them with many questions they were extremely helpful my mower is currently there Ive got nothing but great customer service so far and Im really hoping that they can get my mower working again. All said and done if you want to bring your equipment to a place that cares you bring your equipment to rendals and you definitely make sure that you ask for Robert. I probably called 4 out of 6 days. Robert was extremely understanding Im telling you. you want to bring your mower somewhere with 90 years of experience you bring it to Randalls. Robert will take care of you ask for Robert !! Everyone else was extremely respectful also Im sure you could deal with anyone at this company and you would get the same service. Thank you rendals ! Very bad service. Car was towed there for accident and police had them tow car there. They then damaged my car worse then the accident while towing. I had a mechanic on seen with me and I am one to and there was nothing wrong with car besides a missing front bumper and was drivable still untill I got car back from them I couldnt even get car out of there lot after they towed my car!!!!!!!! and charged me over $300 for towing and clean up fee and a wrenching fee and administration fees....and when asked to speak to some one about the damages they brushed it off and got loud and angry and swore at me on the phone and said it wasnt there fault not there problem and hung up..

This place is very unethical! My truck suddenly stopped working on I-55. Since I was causing traffic the state police call the tow service. When this company arrived it was stated to take my truck one mile away to a truck stop. Against my will, this person took me to their shop and immediately removed the keys from the truck. My mechanics were there but of course they did not allowed to check anything. They did this in conjunction with the Illinois State Police so they can charge a lot more money! At the end just for towing my truck out of the highway and a few miles to their shop against my will they charge me $750.00. If you ever need a tow seek for other options! The owner of this place should be ashamed for their poor level of integrity.

Sad to say even though they towed my car because of the police, I can say everyone was very respectful. They even help me put my stuff back on my car so I can drive away safely. If anyone needs services done here I will tell them too. Great customer service this company has. I read a lot of bad reviews and I check it out myself and the company deserves more love and care. My truck was involved in a minor accident. The tail gate needed to be repainted. I dropped it on a Tuesday and it was ready Friday. Pete went above and beyond to make sure my truck was right. This isn’t the first vehicle I’ve had Rendels to fix and won’t be the last. If you know how to deal with the insurance companies your visit will be much more pleasant. Rendels can only do what the insurance companies allow.

They repaired a paint scratch that went thru three layers of paint on the side of my RV as a result of vandalism to include some warranty work. I was pleased with the workmanship quality, and the professionalism that was displayed by all their staff. Pat Jr. thanks for the fantastic job, you have my repeat business.

Apparently, if you are shaken by an accident as a young man, and they have your car towed to this place they hold personal belongings in your car until they can get payment. It is illegal to hold personal belongings that people need for work. The young man called and asked if he could get his belongings, he was told to come in the morning. Then when he arrived in the morning was told no, not until they got town payment. It is not this young mans responsibility to pay towards payment, since the other party will be picking it up on their insurance because they admitted fault. Ive been in contact with the police and he will be getting his personal belongings back.

Tow fees are so high 😡, i cant even get my car out the tow nearly 1000 DOLLARS TOO GET MY CAR BACK .

I bought a TYM 433 tractor from Pat back in 2013. The transaction was professional and enjoyable. Since then Pat and his service crew have been able to help me through some of the hicups of using and maintaining a tractor. Id do business with him again in the future.

I would give zero stars if I could. Take note of every person that has taken time out of their lives to write about their bad experience at Rendels. Now add all those upset customers who never took the time. We are a nearby business whose truck was crashed into. Throughout the claim process, they expected us to do the following up with the insurance company. It took six months to get our truck back. Furthermore, they charged the insurance company double the cost of the truck. Rendels claims to be a truck rental company, but will charge you $780 for a lost key. (for perspective: Ryders fees are $25). They basically made us pay for their mistake of not having back up keys. Dont trust these amateurs, they will squeeze every dollar out of you and hold your vehicle hostage. During a phone conversation Pat Polcyn even yelled Im not listening to you what a privilege to be able to speak to a customer like that. Especially, one who single handedly forked over $23,0000, for a non serious fender bender, to your business. This place has the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I will never step foot here again. Lastly, Pat asked for certified funds for the final payment, because of this review. Do yourself a favor and only deal with professional businesses. This place has much to learn.

Super happy with the work performed on my Ford F450. I did not feel that I could trust just any mechanic. Joe and his staff are awesome.

This is one of those times I should have followed the negative reviews.Asked 4-5 times to have something looked at on my mower. 2 weeks later and still wasnt done. Finally got the mower back and its missing bolts and my muffler is hanging by one loose bolt. Rattling like a 94 Civic.

Last Friday night, a giant Rendels tow truck parked and blocked the entire parking lot at Mr. Submarine on West Jefferson for 20 minutes while the driver was inside eating. It created chaos because it was nearly impossible navigate the parking lot. If this is indicative of Rendels service, then totally avoid doing business with them!

My husbands car was towed to Rendels yesterday. We went to get my husbands car. And his belongings were missing from the car. They said they had no access and that their employees don’t steal. BS. But someone was in his car to grab his paper work YESTERDAY. Not happy with this. Watch what’s in your car. And if they tow it, be sure it will be gone. They are lying stealing pieces of garbage.

My husband needed a tow and our roadside assistance sent us these guys. The worst company to have one tow anything. The tow truck driver needed to take the drive shaft out from my husbands semi truck. Once they got to the place the tow truck driver charged my husband an extra $50 to remove the drive shaft and once the bill was paid he drove off and he did not even put the drive shaft back in which my husband had assumed that if he removed it the tow truck driver would put it back on. But instead he drove off, and then when my husband called the owner of the company, he told my husband that his driver is not a mechanic and could not put the drive shaft back on, but he was mechanically able to take off the drive shaft but not able to put back on.These people are so greedy to make some extra cash it really is disgusting.

Zero stars, tow truck operators are complete idiots, I wouldnt let any of these idiots pick up garbage at my house, over priced on parts, over charged in service, attorney general should come in and revoke all licenses this company has, location should be closed down as a nuisance to the general public . . . . Fine you idiot, bait and switch, the tow driver charged $4850 to tow a truck 7 miles, said it was a police tow when the police never showed up, tow driver demanded cash so he and the other goon could pocket some of it, stole items out of the truck, complete disregard for customers equipment, so, just for you, the Illinois commerce commission police have been called, FYI people, they can revoke someones tow license and numbers, also states attorneys office in will county have also been contacted about shady and deceptive practices, hope that is specific enough for you since you are probably in on the scam . . .

Good place for DOT Inspection

My fiance accidentally drove her car into a ditch! I called up Pat Polcyn immediately and he got a tow truck out before I even got there. It was on a busier street so traffic had to be stopped in order to get her car up on the truck. The driver got the car out safely, without any further damage, and without holding up traffic too long. Her car was taken out to the Joliet location and PJ Polcyn returned the car to me scratch free, dent free, and cleaned from all the mud the following day. I will never call another company.

The tow truck guy was supposed to wait for my husband to take him to the lot and he left him and took his truck.

They use bait and switch. Advertise trucks online at low prices that they dont even have in stock just to get you in the door. Then they try to sell you much more expensive trucks. Dont waste your time on them.
