Great place to work and a great career advancement opportunity. If you go here yes expect heat and yes a fast pace but if you work here you know and for the ones who dont it does take time to adjust so if you get hires stay with it and give it time.
They donβt care about their employees. The conditions are horrible, itβs so hot in there that people faint and get heat stroke regularly and they literally do not care. They force employees to work an excessive amount of overtime without any warning. It isnβt hard to get fans and AC so that your employees donβt have to endure torturous heat for 12 hours every day. No one should have to work in these conditions, do better.
They make good products but some of the departments lack good management.Overall not a bad place to work if you have patience.
Seems like a pretty good place to work
5 star for 5 star company30min loading ! professional office staff
Very friendly, very fast, 30 mins load, itβs the best!
Very good friendly Shippers night parking good space 24 hours open
Ready to go to work!!!
Not bad, loading took awhile.
Hot asl
Not bad took awhile to load
Does not recommend.
I just started training at Anchor today, and I loved it! Like any place, there a few downsides and its hard work, but all in all, its the best place Ive ever worked so far!
Quick in and out... picked up here... only took 45 minutes total... employees where cool.. this not one of those places you got to jump through hoops to get loaded.. 5 stars..
My experience was absolutely amazing! I delivered 2 days early (Saturday versus Monday). They were friendly and didnt turn me away because I was early. Only took them 30 mins to unload me. Backing was super easy. I wish all shipping and receiving facilities were like this. I would definitely deliver here again!
Had a pick up there and I was a day early the man whom I ask his name took me in and of course I forgot his name I do remember he stated he was a driver before and he understood my job
I cleaned here. They dont turn on the AC during summer until at least 3 people faint. No joke. My supervisor used to have sex in the bathroom by shipping. Also no joke.
Anchor Packaging is a good shipper. I had a loading appointment of 13:00 pm and I was assigned a door (plenty of space, easy to back into), and allost immediately the loading began. By around 14:15 pm I was completely loaded (plastic to go boxes for restaurants). My door light changed from red to green and almost immediately the forklift driver came out to tell me to go inside and sign the paperwork. Less than 18,000 pounds for a full trailer! β€
Impressed with the shipping of my load! Was pretty fast and couldnt ask for more tyvm
Quick in and out most days. Drop and hook is awesome. Downside is itβs kinda rough to use the bathroom depending on the shift as some wonβt let you in.
I worked there for about 2 months, had a heat stroke twice in the same week. Had to quit do to the fact that they dont care about their workers. One guy passed out and cracked his head on the concrete one night they didnt care. Anchor pack is no better than an old school plantation farm.
I hate it here
Nice place and lots of room for parking quick loading 20 min in/out we need more warehouse like this
Great place to work, hard part is when starting. Once you get a routine and accept the 12hr shifts it becomes habit. Pay could be a little better but when you work for a place where anyone can be hired you have a accept the pay. Easy to advance in your job and get a substantial raise every 4 months. Not to mention all the OT you can stand. Alot of money to be made here. Still currently work here after 4yrs. Workers with negative reviews are simply lazy and dont want to work. The burning plastic should be expected when you work in a plastic factory. Face masks and respirators are on hand and readily available to all employees. Safety is top priority here and strongly reprimanded if you fail to follow
Very quick to get me loaded. It was a Saturday mid day load. Staff were polite and professional.
Very hot and the smell of burning plastic I know is not good for you. The training...well what training and they let dope heads work their. And dont get me started on their safety practices.
Great place to pick up, they are fast and very friendly
Nice people and quick to load
Arrived a day early n still got loaded. Address wrong. T/L leaving Loves, then 1st right in Industrial, then 1st right on Krueger. 1st warehouse ( not first driveway ) on right
This is one of the only anchor packaging plants that have air conditioning. While I did not enjoy working at the one in paragould, Im sure the employees are more keen to stay since the plant is conditioned.
Cool people.Quick loading, even though they said I was 4 days late lolI dont think they load reefers.
Its real hot in there
Worse factory in Jonesboro to work at. Training staff is horrible and unprofessional. Spent more time talking about their personal life than the job. So when you get out of training you wonβt know anything bout the job. They donβt care about there workers. See you as robots/salves.
Truckers get in and out fast and lots of room to back up to the docks
Work there great pkace great money
Nice place nice people in shipping
I got there a day early and was able to get loaded quickly.
Friendly staff. Quick loading
Rude. Will let us used the restroom, and we have to go into a cage to let them know that we are there to pickup a load, or drop off a load. Again, and WILL NOT LET US USED THE RESTROOM
In and out in 45 minutes at 8pm. No bull just did his job and Im on my way.
Need to do better toward employees
Dont remember going there.
No words to describe this hell hole
Still work there.
Too hot and to smokey
This is not a store it is a factory that makes the take home containers for many of the restaurants.
Good place
Quick in and out when loading
