I gave Hobby Lobby 4 stars for one reason: I wish their Friday & Saturday closing time was later, instead of shutting their doors at 8:00 p.m. Other than that, I have no complaints!Their decor is great, and nearly all store products are always 40% off! To me, that qualifies as “amazing,” Haha!You’ve got to be careful though when stepping into a Hobby Lobby, because the following is VERY easy to do: Myself, and/or my family end up going over our budget on almost every trip there, mostly because of two key reasons (in my opinion): Their inventory is always changing, and second; the company’s “merchandise purchasers” make sure their store’s products are relevant, by stocking the shelves with items that complement any decorative look you are building upon, or going after!(embarrassing side note: Because they always have so much to look at - it’s without fail that the “shopping excitement,” prompts my mom to use the restroom every time we’re in a Hobby Lobby 😉 LOL!)

Today I was looking for the black and white Buffalo check/burlap garland. I thought for sure I had waited too late and it was all sold out. I found a clerk and he couldn’t have been more helpful or any nicer. He said that there just might be some just one minute. He went out of his way to check and to see if there was any garland in the back. Sure enough he brought me a plastic tub with garland. When I said I wanted 10, he counted out 9 which was all that was in the tub. He then said there is one more tub and he went back and I followed. He climbed a ladder and brought down another tub. So kind, helpful and he had a great smile. Hats off to Terry! He was awesome! I’m a happy ole lady with Buffalo check garland now!! Thank you Terry!

I love this store. Im always surprised by what all is on sale. A good place to roam around while brainstorming on your next project. A little to pick from, pretty broadened category of project/crafting needs. I find that like most any retail location. Each location has general project needs but more specific you get, will vary by location. The Hobby Lobby stores in an 80 mile radius of my main store, amazes all the different items to be found.

They no longer offer the 40% off coupon, so if you can, wait to buy until your section is 50% off, which happens about every two weeks. If you buy on sale, prices are great! It’s a wonderful place for decor, craft supplies, gifts, and more. Staff is friendly and helpful. They offer framing, and classes on things like cake decorating, quilling, and other crafty things.

I my goodness..hit a 50% off on items for holiday decorations...exactly what I went shopping for. Found several unique Thanksgiving and Christmas items..I had several friends wanting them...But..I kept them...going to look fantastic

This place is the great. I can walk around this place just looking for hours.... So many ideas and everything you need to make them happen. You can get turned around pretty easy. But dont worry employees are never to far away. Usually no more than 3 aisles away from any one place in store. Very nice place. Very nice employees will to go out of the Red way to help you.

Food was OK. Gritts had a large clump of grits in bottom of container. Im from Texas and thats not how we cook ours. Should have been creamy and smooth.

Hard to find what youre looking for. Sections are not clearly marked and the store is packed with items in every which way. Noticed good sales. Had a great customer service experience. Staff over heard my husband and I struggling to find what we needed and offered to look in the back. She found what we needed. She was stocking at the time and still helped us without being asked. I wish i had caught her name.

Why did yal get rid of the coupon!? I didnt mind paying for overly priced items when i knew id get one of them at discount. Boo, no more trips to joplin for hobby lobby. Love the baking accessory section

I purchase a photo album that didn’t have plastic on the outside but it was the only one they had so I purchased it, at the time of purchase it did have lots of lint and what looked like dog hair on it but I thought I could just take a lint roller to it so really wasn’t worried about it. I got home with it and went to put pictures in it that’s when I found out the inside ring won’t close all the way so when you turned the page it fell apart. I went back to store to exchange it with my receipt and was told that I couldn’t return it with all the lint and hair in it, when I told her that I purchased it that way she told me no I didn’t, and since the price wasn’t on item she didn’t know how much I paid for it even through the receipt was right I. Front of her. She called the lady would worked that department and that lady told her that yes that item was put in the shelf and sold just like I brought it back so she reluctantly decided to exchange item. If it wasn’t for her own staff saying item was purchased like that I wouldn’t of gotten to exchange it. It was ok for store to sell item that way but not return it. Customer service is beyond important. Will not even return to this store again. Sad day !!!!!!!!!!!

I drive 40 miles out of my way to shop at this location instead of 12 miles to the Bentonville location wher the staff was anything but welcoming and to ask for help was a complete aggravation. I dont shop at locations that act like a question is a bother... Thank you joplin location for hard work an kindness...
