First time going into this place. They have great stuff and my daughter just wanted to shop and buy everything. The husband couldnt keep his hands of things. The only down side is it could use a good cleaning.

Really like the new store and variety of products. From fire arms & ammo to fresh flowers, trees and shrubs. A little something for everyone. My only complaint was some of the aisles are pretty tight, but I would rather sacrifice a little room than product. Freindly staff which rates very high on my must have expectations scale. Ill give anyone an A+ that doesnt know everything, but is willing to work to help find what I need with a desire to learn for the next customer.

This newer store in Junction City is fantastic. It is always clean and always has everything we need for our livestock on hand. It is a big step up from their previous, run down location.

This store has everything a country guy and his wife needs! From cute home decor to guns to hunting gear to farm tools to automotive to horse gear to clothes. They have it all!

I was at this store recently and asked three different employees for help finding item. All three neglected to assist me appropriately. I finally found the item I was looking for on my own. I then went to pay and the items I bought rang up wrong. I showed the employee the price. She then began to ring up the items and told another employee about the wrong price. That employee got an attitude and acted like she was doing me a favor by selling the items to me at the price listed on the shelf. The employees here need to be retrained on customer service.

I had the unfortunate interaction with a manager (I think shes a manager) jana. They way she talked to the other employees and just seemed to do everything in her power to not help find a product and instead made up the excuse that she was too busy to help and walked away. If a manager cant help a customer in retail what good is she? Her attitude was deplorable as well. Will not be returning as long as shes at that place.

Second time I have been in Orscheln and the customer service is great and they had what I was looking .

Great staff, typically have everything needed in a one stop shop. Occasionally they will be out of our certain brand of dog food.Recently purchased a large product which turned out to be defective after only 4 months of use. The product was discontinued; however the management took care of us by replacing the product with the next best item even though it was more expensive.Tuesdays are military appreciation day saving you 10% off your purchase.

I am very disappointed by the experience I had tonight at the Junction City, Kansas Orscheln‘s Store. I came in on Saturday, April 24, 2021, about 10 minutes to 8pm, and the gentleman that was vacuuming by the front door told me that I had 5 minutes and I needed to get out of there because they were closing. So, I replied “I am only getting dog food.”I really think I was racially profiled because I’m a black retired soldier, plus I graduated from here at JCHS. After getting my dog food, I was in line and a white gentleman came in and asked for some help from the same man. He was directed to the back of the store. So I said he only got 5 minutes and the man working there told me that it only applied to me. This is wrong on every level and I shouldn’t have to tolerate these type of comments, behavior, rudeness and/or actions. I think he was a manager.Emclean Taylor III

Just hard to find somebody to help you. This was Monday morning. So ladies just standing around and pass you on to somebody else.

Great store for a small town. I really like the store and will continue to shop there but.... Very little rewards for spending a lot of money there. When you spend a lot of money at a particular store its nice to get a discount voucher or code every once in awhile.

Just a quick blitzkrieg for cinnamon bears for mom and some sanitizing wipes.

Good farm store!

I’m opening a business in junction city and I had a lot of questions regarding different tools and products. Charles helped me from start to finish and did a great job! This place has great prices and even better customer service. 10 stars!!!

My experience was satisfactory. Missed the fifth star because I felt rushed. I needed something else. But I had to move quickly to checkout.

The new store is really big and they have so much stuff. They have a sporting good section as well with guns, ammo, and fishing supplies. So much nicer than the old store. Really good location

Much bigger store with a lot more inventory. The staff is very helpful, although on weekdays theres just a few of them, so finding someone will take a little effort. Good thing is that they are easily identifiable.

It was amazing with all the variety to choose from. You could get household items to farming equipment to everyday odds and ends.

We go here mainly for our dog food, because they actually carry good brands at a nice price, and for our canning supplies. Orschelns has great customer service and an excellent selection.

I like shopping here but I wish they had a better selection on boots.

Really nice place to shop for outdoors stuff. Its nice to shop in place that its never crowded. Not a big fan of the location. Looking forward to be shopping at their brand new location when its finished.

I love this place, fantastic selection of everything from clothes to garden supplies, ammunition, grills, its great. Employees are courteous, knowledgeable and kind, the store is clean and well stocked.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at the gun counter and from management. Sad they treat their military like they are killers. And refuse to sell them guns just because they are military and have been over seas.

Customer service is fantastic if youre a wanna be DIY enthusiast. Need a tool? They are happy to help you find it and if youre chatty about your project they are honest enough to tell you if youre getting the wrong item and direct you to the correct item even if its cheaper.The staff seem knowledgeable and if they dont know they will get someone that does.Great place for the farmer/handyman type goods.Little overpriced on some of the house deco goods but no worse than local competition.

When Orscheln was at the old location it used to be one of our favorite stores in town to shop at. I used to always be able to get the grab and go straw or the one that they had outside if they were out of the grab and go. Now that they have moved into the new store they never have either straw and they never know when they are getting some in. It is disappointing and frustrating. We also have not seen some of the employees that worked at the old store and we miss them. We are disappointed that things changed so drastically with a move in location. The store used to get a lot of our business but we have chosen lately to take it elsewhere where we can rely on items being in stock.

This new store sucks. They dont have bales of hay anymore and my mom used to shop at this store for bales of hay for her pet chickens when the old one was open but ever since the new one opened they either stopped selling them or they dont have them that much anymore. Now my mom has to go all the way to Manhattan to get some hay. Its not fair for my mom!

The new store is garbage. We were excited to see it open. Looked like an outdoor paradise. My wife and I have been customers the 8 yrs weve lived here. Food for our livestock even the small ones, candy, clothing you name it. So I laid my wife away a pistol for her birthday which is on the 19 of this month. To be honest between my work schedule at the post office and moving and stuff I kinda put it on the back burner. Well today I get a reminder call and the lady was pretty short even though I assured her I would be there with the money post haste . I immediately stopped what I was doing to go address this. I enter orscheln and go straight to the gun counter. I rang the bell. And the lady that originally helped me lay the firearm away approached me . When I told her I wanted to make the payment she quickly directed me to the front of the store. It took me another 30 sec to walk to the front. No big deal. However. Once at the front there was a very young man Ive only seen working the register once or twice. This dude has no clue when asked about paying on the layaway how its done. He calls for a manager . This is when it goes sideways. Some dude who clearly wasnt a manager comes from the back. Looks at the young kid as if something is wrong with him because he hasnt learned the layaway stuff yet. Then he says. You need to learn. So im thinking great...hes gonna show him how and Ill be on my way. Nope. Nope. Nope. He says. Call Makaila...and then walks the hell off. Never to be seen again. This young lady walks up looking very irritated as if I interrupted her siesta or something, asking the young man why call me and shrugging her shoulders. I asked are you Makaila ? She mumbles yeah but..then I explained that the older gentlemen had called for her and told her why . She then huffed and said..I dont know how to do it. Now. I delivered mail all day in the heat. Come home fed the animals, took a shower and was trying to get something to eat. I stopped to go take care of this business. To give them my hard earned money. It took me 30 seconds to get to gun counter. 1 min wait for associate, and 30 to go back up front. The entire visit before finally losing my composite on the snooty Ms Makaila and the rest was 45 min. Meanwhile other customers came and went. So since I needed to make a payment today Im sure I lost my lay away. However I no longer care. Ill buy my plants, feed, and clothing somewhere else. This is what happens when you get too big. Where did all the good employees go that were at the small store? I forget what I put down on the layaway however they can keep it. Its the lastoney theyll get out of me. Gotta find alternate feed store now. I can drive to wamego to get my clothing for work. I dont really want to make the ride or pay the rediculous prices at vanderbuilts but a little respect goes a long way.

Brand new store, it is HUGE, with lots of items not carried in alot of regular Orschelns. They even have a nice gun selection at decent pricew.

Very unorganized, and not informal. A price tag says buy one get one free, but that is only for members which the tag did not say, I am not from this state, how am I suppose to know that? And the cashier failed to mention that when I was checking out? And when I asked about it a little later her response yeah, for members rude! Will not be back. The prices are high.
