My husband and I love going here for whatever we need to fix whether it be our plumbing or paint. Every single employee is so nice and very helpful! We always have a conversation about them when we drive back home about how nice they are and how great our experience has always been since weve been stationed here. Now that the husband is retired we are moving and I most certainly hope we find another Ace Hardware with wonderful employees exactly like this one!!!

Great shopping experience, went in for a specific piece for an RV, and found they had a nice selection of popular RV items. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was able to reserve car hauler the day before I needed it to speed my process. It worked out great as I was scheduled to pick it up at 0900. All checked in by 0845, hooked up to the truck and gone by 0900. The lady helping me out was very quick and knew how to get through the paperwork fast. Left the store and loaded for the trip by 1015. The smooth transaction helped the day begin well and dropped off the trailer at our destination by 1500. Drop off place was quick to inspect and check in within 15 minutes. Wow, will use the UHaul rentals again and I highly recommend Midwest Ace Hardware!!

Made a reservation over the phone through uhaul turns out the store is closed and now basically my 23hr drive is postponed until tomorrow!! unless we find another uhaul i don’t understand why accept the reservation or why not inform us or the uhaul place that they would be closed. my husband is in the military so every leave hour to us is important! mind you this is a $800 reservation!

Nice little store. I brought part of a towel rod to the store and told the young man that I needed a set screw which was what my husband had ask me to get. I had no idea what it was but the store associate did. Thats the kind of store I like!

Its always very clean and the people are always extremely helpful and polite. Last time we didnt even get two feet into the door before being asked if we needed any help finding things. Then on our way out an employee pointed out a cheaper option for an item we grabbed. So we swapped and saved some $$.

We were here because they are also a UHAUL rental location. This Ace Hardware had the most helpful and friendly employees of any store Ive been to in a long time. Good selection for what we needed to purchase as well. I would prefer this over waters.

This was my first visit to your store and I have to say, I was really disappointed. I thought the store was closed when I pulled up since the grass was overgrown and there were very few cars in the parking lot. I came in for two items. I asked at the register for what I was looking for and a lady helped me locate the item. When I went to pay, the cashier had on a mask but had it below her nose. Not good! That doesnt keep people safe. I was reluctant to get too close. Then, she didnt give me a bag for my items. The receipt blew out of my hand and I had to chase it across the parking lot. Ace Hardware, you really need to step up your game here. This was really unacceptable.

I was renting an Uhaul for my big move at this location. Not only was my pick up for the truck at 7:00am with a 24/7 pick up (that I paid for) not available. I had to wait another 2 Hours before I actually sat in the truck. This was unacceptable when I had a tight schedule to follow and deadlines to make. Hopefully no one else gets the same experiences.

I would recommend it to anyone who would like to get some hardware supplies. I only give it 4 stars because I think the building itself could get an upgrade.

I purchased a lawnmowers the best they had I took it home I needed a good lawnmowers I have a incline in my yard I so a good self propell was needed this was a sorry lawnmowers it might as well been a manual I took it right back I put it neatly back told manager I was not happy requested a refund she told me I needed take it Abilene I called them asked why I needed to go there they said we are the service and repair center I want a refund not repair she said they can refund in junction city after of a hour of my time she said she would not give me a refund now if I didnt know better I would have been stuck I left it at store and canceled the purchase with my bank it was on my receipt 90 return policy but not a two hour period I purchased a honda lawn mower at home depot it runs great much better than the craftsman

As a former employee the staff is stand up it was an honor to work with they were good at helping the newbies to learn the ropes some gone now whoever country boy is, is low self-esteem, in need of attention jag off that needs to knock his self out unfortunately the owner cares more about the customers then her employees and I will say it to anybody face because I dictate MY own pace but overall I liked working with the other employees even though the pay wasnt good enough. But for the TRUE customers no need to stop going because the staff is earning a living and doing they BEST

I do not understand other reviews, Ive been going there for 10+ yrs, always had terrific service. They have always been knowledgeable or they quickly get someone that is qualified. They remind me of the good ole hardware stores selling small quantities and carrying more in stock items then the big home supply stores. Also being associated with ACE they have better pricing.

Staff is very helpful, and store is rarely crowded. I believe this store located there to serve new construction on the west side of Junction City. I have bought various bits of hardware, and also rented large tools. Will definitely continue to shop hete.

This is the best hardware store Ive ever been to. The workers are very knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make sure a customer is satisfied. The cashiers know what theyre doing and the sales associates always ask if theres anything else I need and if I need help carrying anything out. They also ask me if Ive seen the latest ad. Great store!!!

All you have to do is ask for help if you can not fine what you need

I have been a loyal customer of this store for over 2 years until yesterday. As a military family member, I do not feel that I should be asked to prove we are military when my husband was in uniform and then fill out a 5 part information sheet to include my soldiers id#. That is information that does not need to be shared!! All this for a measely 5% discount. I dont like shopping at the big box stores but i have lost the trust at your store and will now shop else where.

Be sure to keep up with every little piece of an item you purchase from here in case you want a refund. They couldn’t afford to refund a $7 pair of gloves because I didn’t have the piece of cardboard they were attached to despite having a receipt. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Went in to get a Honda Odessey chip key cut. The owner and one employee were training to cut specialized keys like mine and asked if I’d like to be the guinea pig. They cut the key and it worked perfectly, no cost for the cutting either which was awesome. Every time I come in, the employees are courteous and friendly. The selection is great and they always have the little things for DIY around the house and maintenance items, things I can never find elsewhere in town. The location in the middle of the housing developments is idea too, less than 7 minutes from the house. Good store!

I called ahead of time and asked the workers if they were able to program a key to a vehicle, they told me I could. I get my vehicle towed to ace *because I cant drive it* and as soon as I arrived and asked for help they told me the guy who does the key programming wasnt going to arrive for a few more days.

I have been here a few times and everytime I have been disappointed. I know better, just go to waters true value everytime. The services are much more knowledgable.

When they first opened, I was very impressed! In the last 3months I have visited there 4-5 times. Customer service seems to drop everytime I go up there. Today was the last straw! They just looked at me when I walked in and didnt speak at all. I walked around for about 5 minutes looking for what I was after. Not once did anyone offer to help. I stopped shopping at waters because of the same reason and higher prices. I will once again be driving to spend my money in someone elses local store.

The slowest Uhaul customer service EVER! Seriously if you have 2 hours just to pick up and 2 hours to drop off then that’s your place. They see you standing waiting and they WILL NOT rush to help.

I came to rent a Uhaul truck. When I got here an older man, who I later found out was the owner, was very rude and dumped us on a poor woman who had no idea what she was doing. After waiting for over 30 minutes for her to call someone to figure out how to get us our Uhaul the owner walks back up and tells the woman that we need to wait because someone else was ready to check out and had been waiting almost 5 minutes. He then proceeded to walk around the store and not help the woman check people out while we stood there and waited another 20 minutes. I will not be coming here again to do any sort of business due to the rudeness of the owner.
