They did awesome job on my late Daddy car Toyota Rav4. My car would stop while driving. I took to mendenhall auto and they cant find the problem 2 times. So I bring my car to Foreign Auto and got my car back next day. My 15 year old car sounds like a New car Gunalcheesh. Thank you so much. I be by for repairs from now on.

I love these guys! I first discovered them when a family member from out of town ran over a boulder with a Mini Cooper. Yeah, how does that happen? They shipped the crunched Cooper to Juneau and it came back perfect. I’ve had nothing but good experiences and offered sound advice. I highly recommend them.

Just tried to schedule a maintenance and we were setting up a time then I ask about what it would typically cost for service and he cuts me off saying I must be new to his service and basically refused to help. And kept trying to hang up on me. Highly unprofessional customer service and just plain rude. Screw you dude!

A few months ago I brought my car Affordable Auto to repair a rusted out brake line. I was told by affordable that the work could not be completed. I tried to give them money to fix my brake line (as they are trained to do so) and they refused to do the work.I called around and Ishmael at Foreign Auto said, If I cant do it, no one can. Ishmael not only provided EXCELLENT customer service, he also FIXED the brake line right away!. My little Toyota Corolla is still zipping around town getting amazing gas mileage and the brakes work wonderful!! Thanks for being a great auto resource in Juneau, Ishmael! I was more than happy to spend my money at Foreign Auto to get my car repaired!

Im pretty sure the people that gave these guys good reviews were friends and family members because these guys are jokes . Save yourself the time and dont go to them

Managed to repair my seized engine for $600 when all other mechanics mostly just wanted to replace my engine completely for thousands of dollars.

Took my Ford Raptor in for a service and they replaced both CV Joint Axils Then Again after 500 miles then one at 800 miles with out figuring the cause of the failure. Unfortunately I had take my truck back to the Dealer in Washington state to properly fix what caused the CV joints to Fail in the first place.

Took my CRV to these guys a few months ago to diagnose why it seemed to be misfiring at 40mph. They looked the vehicle over for 2 days and came up empty handed, saying it may be internal engine problem that would involve significant work. I took the car back home, and looked into some things on my own. After doing some research the signs seemed to point to a fuel pump problem. I called them and asked about fuel pump repair only to be told 1. They dont quote prices over the phone and 2. They dont replace fuel pumps, and.. the kicker 3. If I DID find a shop in town that would handle my fuel pump to get a printed quote, bring it to them, and then they would do it.So, essentially, they werent willing to do the work up front, but if another shop would do it, they would attempt to steal that shops business. What a joke! I found another shop who did fuel pumps, they looked into it, and they handled the problem quickly and efficiently for a more than fair price. Avoid this place if you can.

They are a little spindy but They do great work. We can trust them and they will work with you. Very nice and helpful. They are fast too.

Brought my car in because it was shifting hard. They replaced the rear differential. It didnt solve the issue. I demanded a refund but owner refused to make it right. Brought my car into Freds auto to discover that the rear differential is leaking and bolts werent tighten on one side. Dishonest and bad mechanics.

I left my car for over a week to see if there was anything more than clearing the Service Now warning. I attempted calling two times while on vacation to see if they had found anything wrong and they still hadnt run diagnostics. When they finally picked me up, they charged me $165 to clear the Service Now alarm and top my washer fluid. And to top it off, there was a tear in my drivers seat which I didnt notice until I was about to leave. Once I pointed it out to him, he said it was normal wear. An apology at the very least would have been nice or at least a let me see if my guy had something sharp in his pocket would have sufficed. Dont take your car here- theyll rip you off and possibly rip up your seats in the process.

The WORST customer service Ive ever experienced!I believe untruthful, misleading and argumentative. I called later to speak to manager to discuss experience. ( they had my car 11days and never even started work). I got the same person who I always had poor communication with. He then accused me of having a problem w/his accent ( not ) and then called me back to discuss. proceeded to defend himself, argue w/me and tell me they were weeks behind schedule. Total BS. BTW They ordered parts but never actually looked at car. Hmmmmmmmm

Have taken my vehicles here several times.... absolutely no complaints.

The owner there was just being terrible to me for no reason. I asked him about how long will it take to look at my car because it was towed there. He said that oh I will get to it next Friday. I said oh is it ok if i hook up my computer to it. He just went off on me. I said listen youre not going to be getting to it any time soon I just want my car back as soon as possible. He said no your keys are under the mat you can pick it up and get it off my property.

Poor customer service. Tried asking them whats wrong with my car and the owner/manager was just being mean about it. He was saying dont worry about it, none of your business.
