If I could give 0 stars I would but I’ll have to settle for the minimum available.My wife and I went to this store to get new phone cases for our IPhone 8 and 7 but because of the older model, they did not have it but after looking into our profile, they talked us into switching our older phones and a new plan which was pretty convenient. After agreeing on the new plan and new phones we left them both, my wife and my phone to them so they can backed them up into the cloud for a smooth transfer of data into our new phones.After about an hour, both our phones were “supposedly” backed up and the transfer of data was done and we left the store happy. Only the next day, my wife found out that close to 1000 pictures, about 2 weeks worth of pictures were missing from her photos without knowing what happened. We tried calling this store for about 2 hours but with no one to answer so we took the morning to drive out of our way and our vacation time to try to figure this situation out.Once we got to the store and explain what was the situation and asking them what went wrong, they told us that WE failed to carefully look that ALL the pictures were still there after the transfer was done and telling us that it was our fault that we didn’t properly backed her phone when we left our phone to them, trusting them that it would be a smooth transfer since it is THEIR job to provide that service and not ours. They showed no remorse, empathy or even able to provide us with an answer on how is it possible that 2 weeks or 1000 pictures worth were gone but the last week of pictures were still there???We left the store angry, devastated and saddened by the way they handled the situation. I would not recommend this location for the lack of experience and knowledge about what they are being paid to do. Very frustrating and disappointing for a service provider to not be able to fully provide a portion of their responsibility.

Was ready to write a positive review until I realized they failed to transfer thousands of photos before wiping my old phone clean.We came into the store for new a new phone case. They didn’t have any cases for our older phone but they talked us into buying two new phones and upgrading our plan. They backed up the phones for us using their internet and then did the transfer. After leaving the store it was realized that huge chunks of photos from our two week trip to Maui, the week prior, were missing. All the photos from the last week were there but then thousands were missing from the weeks prior. Internet searches explained this was likely due to the poor internet and connectivity at their store. We tried calling them time after time the morning after this happened and nobody answered so we drove to the store.We went to the store for help and were essentially told it was our fault the photos were not there, despite the fact that the phone was backed up, BY THEM ON THEIR NETWORK. They showed no empathy or compassion. While we were there we were told this problem could’ve been prevented had they simply checked the number of photos on the old phone and the new phone. Unfortunately they never did this the day before. I left the store in tears. All our memories from what was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime are gone and they didn’t seem to care. They didn’t have any answers for us or any empathy. Extremely saddened and disappointed by this whole situation.

I never thought I’d write a review for a wireless retail store but after an exceptional experience...here goes!I went in to replace my husband’s iPhone which was eligible for an upgrade, but without my husband there to select the best phone & plan, I was left with many questions. The customer service, patience, knowledge & attention to detail I was provided with was something rarely experienced in today’s day & age.The two associates were so helpful in explaining different options and went above &beyond to ensure that I was happy with my selection. The store is well kept, clean and they have a great selection of wireless accessories.I will most certainly continue shopping at this location and have already referred a number of friends & neighbors!

I purchased from your store a new Verizon plan, a new Apple IPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12/12 pro premium glass ($39.99) plus other accessories. I spent a total of $1109.99 in your store for just that one purchase. Service was really good. I can only assume it was good because I was spending that kind of money. Your employee opened the glass protector screen and placed it on my phone. In less than 48 hours, that glass screen had cracked. Today I came into your store to get a replacement glass protector at $0 cost because the original didn’t last a significant amount of time at all. I experienced a completely different level of customer service today. Basically I was told to just purchase a new one for another $39.99. For customers who are looking to resolve an issue and/or are not paying a lot of money, the customer service sucks. I won’t be purchasing any other products from here.

On Wednesday 05/19/21 - needed my Phone to be fixed or changed. It was 5pm and I was looking for a Verizon in the Windward side. Found Go Wireless in Kailua Hamakua Street that closes at 7pm and I got there in time to get my phone looked at. Noticed a sign on the door will be back in 10 mins (not a problem) I’m so glad they were opened! (Felt bad because it’s hard to work alone in a store and being busy all day this was the workers time to actually take a break although 10 minutes turned into 20 mins I wish this worker could at least take his 30 min lunchbreak without being bothered. But he knew that he needed to eat quickly and reopen again- please don’t think I’m complaining because I’m not I was grateful he had a heart to know that customers come first and he cut his lunch so he could take care of us)I’d like to personally Thank Mr. Connor Dunston of Go Wireless Kailua for his heart to serve customers with amazing customer service. He took his time to listen to my needs, to what I wanted, to what he could offer and totally making this crazy transition a smooth one.What I loved the most about Connor was his smile, his patience, his willingness to help even though I made a huge mistake and gave him my wrong password which meant he couldn’t download & transfer from my old to my new phone (as he told me to come back within an hour and it should be transferred etc but the dummy I was giving him that wrong passcode we wasted that entire hour and when I came back he told me nicely about what happened and said it’ll take about another hour or so to do and the store was already closed (7pm) so he said can you come back in the morning so we could finish the transition (normally I’d be yeah no problem my fault) but this meant not having my phone over night and I could not go home phone less.He said he understood he started the download and he finished everything about 830pm, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Connor could’ve said no come back tomorrow but he took the time to get this done no matter what and he did just that!Five Stars is nothing compared to what Connor provided. If I could give more I would!Thank you Connor from the bottom of my heart for showing what true customer service is! (It is really hard to find these days) Remember no matter where you go in life you will succeed and Go Wireless should be more than happy that you are on their team! This is a review for the employee Connor at this Verizon store. He was not only extremely helpful in ensuring that I made an informed decision on my cell phone dilemma (iphone stopped working) however he was very honest and knowledgeable about the products and iphone process for replacements. I truly felt I walked out of the store today with a game plan where I wouldnt end up spending a ton of additional fees or have a higher cell phone bill. I am certain that his work today and honesty reflects highly upon the Verizon brand and this Kailua location. Highly recommend working with him in the future.

This review is not for the workers here. They were professional and very courteous. This review is for Verizon itself. I tried to port my business phone over to Verizon (I’ve done this with straight talk, at and t, and T-Mobile over the years). We did a family plan for my fiancée and her brother and my two business phones. None of them worked. After four hours wasted at Verizon I was told one phone didn’t work because the sim they gave me was broken. I was CHARGED for a new sim, despite the one they gave being defective. The second line couldn’t receive phone calls but could make them. This is my business line that I have had for over four years. Now I can no longer receive any calls or even set a voicemail. They want me to wait two days for a call from customer service. Our third line doesn’t accept any calls either. DO NOT USE Verizon unless you wish to waste hours of your day with a very unprofessional service. How this is a nationwide/international company I have no idea. There is a reason they hide their reviews. They have 1 star on trust pilot and most independent review companies. I am leaving this review in the hopes of saving anyone the frustration and the loss of business that I have gone through during my switch. I DONT RECOMMEND!!!

The customer service I received at this location was beyond my highest expectations. I walked in with a broken iPhone X (Apple didn’t help me) and Brandon (store manager) was able to quickly find me the best deal and options for a new phone. I run a small business out here on Oahu and I can’t operate without a working phone so to have a quick and painless experience is invaluable to me! They ripped us off. We went in to get an iPhone for a discount price. They told us they would give us the price and then charged us for 150 dollars more afterwards. They told us they wouldn’t do anything about it because that employee was fired. I can’t believe how dishonest they were and then they just covered up their mistakes.Never going back again. Do not recommend.

Chris was a lifesaver today!! He was very helpful and definitely solved my problem! He understood my concern and explained the different options that were available. He also advised me about my best options that would be the most cost effective. He took care of all the legwork and I got an unbelievable deal!! Brandon, the store manager was also very helpful!! Hands down, best service we ever saw from a wireless company. BOBBY took great care of us. Knowledgeable and patient. One of our phones broke, so we walked in to look at options. I’d like to send a shoutout to I believe her name was Kim.I currently live on the mainland and my grandpa upgraded his phone on sat at the pearl ridge Verizon and had the worst service and did not feel confident on using his new phone. So, he came to this location and to the woman that helped him out today. Thank you for your patience and making him feel confident and walking away with a few tips on his iPhone 11.Sadly, I thought the phone number above was for the Kailua location but it’s to a call center but i spoke to Marcus who was extremely nice and was more than happy to write a compliment for Kim. Which was all I hoped for! Great Customer service is rare these days and she needed to be recognized.Thank you!

*2 week update. Called and emailed the contacts provided in the response and still have not heard back from anyone.Bought and then returned a phone here in January but the store never sent the phone to the warehouse so I am still being charged. Have called the store multiple times and can never get an answer. Overall a terrible experience with this location and Verizon in general.

Jason is very knowledgeable about the equipment and services. I appreciated his professionalism in helping me figure out the best and most economical way to handle my personal and business accounts. I would like to suggest though that there be two reps on hand for assisting clients. In all three times I have been in, there has only been one rep available with people waiting for service. I understand it may not be economical to have more staff for a location that gets less foot traffic than a busy mall - could be the difference between quality and quantity or monitoring peak service times to staff more efficiently.

If I could give this location zero, or even negative, stars...I would.After calling them repeatedly and going to the location and even talking to the MANAGER on every one of the occasions, we are still owed $300 by this company. I call corporate and they tell me that I have to take it up with that specific location.I have been being told by this locations manager Steven, that I will have the $300 refunded into my account in 3-5 business days for over a month now.Today when I looked at my checking account i found out that this Go Wireless location has charged me an additional $200 today, FOR NO REASON! And WITHOUT PERMISSION from my husband or I. When asked what the charge was for THEY DIDNT HAVE AN ANSWER! I told them to refund the money, release it, whatever....I was told there is nothing that they can do about it at this time. WTF.WORST EVERYTHING. Now this location owes me $500. I am afraid to even put any money in my checking account since these thieves will charge my account at apparently any given time without consent, permission, or even the debit card present.Save yourself and do not ever go here.I have already contacted the better business bureau as well as their corporate office in light of this new event, I have contacted Verizon Wireless themselves since they are affiliated (and informed them they should not be in business with such an awful corporation), I also plan to speak to a legal office tomorrow morning on the matter because this is more than unacceptable.

I went to get my new phone up and running with about a half hour prior to closing thinking it was enough time, but there was another customer before me that impacted the start time of the transfer. Without any complaints, Angel (who I did not know before this encounter) stayed past closing time by more than 10 minutes to allow the transfer of my phones content to the new phone to be complete. Make sure you go in earlier than I did so you dont inconvenience them. I wanted to publicly thank this location and particularly Angel for the great service. That dedication to customer service really meant a lot to me!

The service deserves 5 stars every time. The store for what it is, is clean, well laid out, rarely busy and the only verizon store I ever go. If youre looking for a huge selection, this isnt the spot, but they have most models anyone would want and enough accessories to satisfy me!

Young has shown the strength of a warrior and the patients of a saint. He was solo on Sunday and he handled each one of us as if we were having a one on one with him, but it was more like five to his one. I only know one other person who can run a shop solo besides myself and thats BDA. I will only do my Verizon business at this location. The Kailua GoVerizon store is definitely the best of the Verizon stores. Much less of a wait than the store in Windward Mall and besides the expert associates are very knowledgeable and helped to explain exactly what I would see on my bill and the basics of how my new phone works. They detailed the specials that they were having on this Black Friday and allowed me time to think without trying to up sell any packages or unnecessary accessories. Bobby in particular was very helpful and super knowledgeable, but there was also another sales associate whose name I failed to get. Worth the drive to Kailua if you need a new phone.

The manager Brandon and Chris were absolutely fantastic and so helpful and friendlt. This is the first time I visited and am so impressed I will always come here instead of Windward Mall. Windward Mall people just want to refer you to get help unless you buy something. Kailua is the polar opposite and I will spread the word that Kailua ROCKS!!! Thanks Verizon Kailua.
