Good but small exchange. It is quiet and clean. They seem to cater to a certain demographic. They are frequently out of stock on common items. I only occasionally find what Im looking for. I suspect this is.why its so quiet. Check out lines can be long at peak times, but they handle better than most other retailers.

Love to shop here. The Green side of Oahu is so much different than the Blue.

I love the Main Exchange! You can price match almost any item in the store with stores like Walmart, Target, Ross, and many more just ask at the front registers which stores you can price match the items from. I also love that they are always having sales and store scratch offs they always come in handy when needed the most! Dont forget the deals after the holidays! They also have holiday deals as well of course!

Worth the drive. Its not as busy as the other bases. I feel the clearance clearance a bit too expensive at the mens section. Im poor so, thats not a good reason to not shop here lol.

The MCX is a great small Exchange, but also has the highest prices of all the exchanges. They also carry high end clothes for men that are outrageously priced. I guess they knew someone was getting a pay raise.

Its a PX, just with lots of Hawaiian souvenirs.

Doesnt have everything that Pearl Harbor NEX has, but not their fault. Military gives more money for stuff to Pearl. But stuff is usually cheaper at K-Bay, which is good for us.

It will be much nicer once all of the departments are in the same building. Its very annoying to have to remember which building has what, especially with outdoor gear.

Nice clean facility. Make sure you bring your own bag.

Good deals and nice staff sometimes target and Walmart have better deals on your tech needs

Today I visited the barber shop for the last time. I used to be stationed in this base and forgot how bad this barber shop is. They dont listen to what you ask for. Either that or theyre incompetent. And its not just the barber I had today, this happens nearly every time. Then when she cleaned the hair off of me, she brushed it all down, into my collar.I also stopped by the uniform shop because I special ordered a uniform shirt MONTHS ago. Today the exact size I special ordered was on the shelf, I never received a phone call.

I do like this place the only problem is it is very small compared to other exchanges beside that most people there are fairly nice, and will to help you when you need it.

Not a large selection but they have a little bit of everything. Beware of buying the chocolate covered macadamia nuts here because mine were old and stale. You can catch some huge discounts certain times of the year and the jewelry consultants are very attentive and helpful. Bring your own bags and get 5 cents back per bag. If you dont have a bag you can purchase them for a small fee.

Well its clean theres no sales tax. But save yourself money and go to the NEX in Pearl Harbor. Its cheaper, larger selection and theyll price match a larger selection of places and almost always just give you a random discount.

Good exchange. Has everything the average person should need. Also has Hawaiian clothes and products there as well.

With an adequate selection of products at lower prices with a price match guarantee, the Marine Corps Exchange is typically my final stop for any big purchase. The staff is always pretty helpful and willing to go out of their way at any given time. It’s prime location on base makes it the perfect stop for anyone on MCBH.

Comfort store! Sometimes the stock is idiosyncratic, sometimes the men’s clothing runs predictably to the taste of an 18-year-old. But it always has something useful and good, and the nicest staff to be found anywhere.

They have a lot of stuff and good prices, especially for the area. The staff was very helpful.

Clean and well organized, one can find most required items including a moderate amount of niceties. The shop itself isnt very expansive (single floor) and is lacking a full range of products. Staff is friendly and happy to assist you if your looking for something specific. ATMs are located both inside and outside for convenience.

Excellent exchange with a bit of everything. The building was clean and well-stocked, and the staff were all very nice.

Havent had a bad experience, just a heads up for those who are new to Hawaii, you will need to buy a reusable bag at check out, bring a reusable bag with you or no bag. Just a heads up.

Its okay like all military stores the staff just ignores you.

I have been on island since January. Every time I go into the exchange I am greeted with a hello and a smile. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work.

We love visiting here when we are on the Windward side of the island. Theyve revamped and reorganized the interior many times. It finally seems like they are done rearranging the departments. We usually find items here that are hard to find or unavailable at other military exchanges. Their in-store price checkers are always updated. And more times than not, we were pleasantly surprised to find the price was lower than the posted price.

Has a wonderful variety of items military families need or want. Gun shop is very knowledgeable and is able to help and explain on island purchases.

Good variety of merchandise, but wish the price points were reasonably lower than off base. Why charge our military as high if not higher prices than non military. Our military families deserve more consideration for their sacrafices.

Poor customer service: Changed return policy on some (quite expensive) items and expected the customers to read the small 6x6 cards posted infrequently throughout the store. Cashier neglected to tell me a $300 dollar item was non-returnable once opened. I feel like that is a reasonable expectation as a customer-if youre not informed of a return policy change, then it really shouldnt apply.Management now refuses to take item back since I made a silly mistake, and attempted to return the item under the prior return policy (if opened, bring it back within 24 hrs). Three phone calls have been unreturned, and they told me to contact the manufacturer-resulting in 5 hours on hold. The end result of that phone call was ironically enough, advice to sue the MCX if they didnt take back the item.Now I feel time is running out to actually return an item, and I keep hearing this manager is on leave or person is unavailable.They have been friendly and polite (when I have been able to talk to them)-yet they refuse to empathize with my situation and correct it. I am disappointed in the level of service they provide.I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

This is supposed to be the large MCX at KBay, so why is there selection so small. what a way to support the USMC. Schoefield barracks base AFFES is far more equipped with more selections. This place is embarrassing. MCRD Parris island MCX is far better than this place. 2 thumbs down. Sorry place to call an exchange.
