We moved to Kauai with NO stuff and was starting our furnishing and renovation from scratch - I was bummed to find that with my very particular taste (and suckery for balinese interior design) its way hard to shop for on island, especially during COVID.I was SO stoked to find BaliBoo on Oahu, especially Deborahs willingness to guide me via photo message step by step until I was able to furnish our ENTIRE house! I kid you not, I loved so many of their things that we furnished our entire 4 bedroom/3 bathroom house (we are renovating them all) from this store.I never had to leave Kauai and undergo quarantine again, and BaliBoo packed and shipped everything via my own personal container and everything got here scot-free. Pretty unbelievable customer service. Did I mention that Deborah also started getting a feel of my taste and suggested many things that I immediately bought?I havent even mentioned the quality of the products... Disclaimer: I am Indonesian, grew up in Indonesia, and I could spot great quality workmanship even through photos. Everything was not only as expected, but some were WAY beyond my expectations. BaliBoo obviously source their products from great woodworkers in Bali. Everything was perfect, and Im so glad I chose Baliboo.Well hopefully be shopping in person next year for our outdoors!

I was visiting the island and looking for a small specific tabletop piece for my home on the mainland. The manager instantly greeted me as I walked in and asked if I needed help. I like to look around first before I ask for anything specific, in case something else catches my eye that I would have otherwise missed. And who likes a hovering salesperson? She made sure I knew to ask for help if/when i needed it. I walked the store but wasn’t seeing what I came in for (although I found plenty of other stuff/gifts I admired) so I went to seek help. She immediately knew of an idea and took me to the item that I had overlooked. Since i was traveling I inquired about shipping and received a quote. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it to not have to lug my fragile item around. Bali Boo is a large warehouse type building with more than one building to shop in, with multiple floors. That being said, there appeared to be only one person on staff during my visit. However, I personally don’t feel like the customer service I received suffered. (If they were really busy this might be an issue, but I walked in on a weekday shortly after they opened so i can’t attest to their staffing any other time). I have since received my mailed item and it was wrapped well with no issues. Thank you Bali Boo for making this a wonderful experience!

What an amazing place. Full of custom woodworking, one of a kind, artworks that will have you spending a good amount of time looking around for something to purchase. Price tags might have you running out the door but there are a few peices that are reasonably priced. You could spend as much as $30,000 or more for a dinning table here. Quality is immaculate and you are paying for what you get. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

Ive lived here on island for well over a year now and have always had my eye on this place. After moving into a larger home with my finace we decided to look here to see what they had in the way of tables, shelving and anything else they had to make our home more comfortable. They hve an awesome selction that changes regularly and the pricing is no where near as scary as one might think. We found everythign we could have possibly wanted here and then some. Very well made and gives our home a much more organic and comfortable feel. No compressed wood chips and annoying impossible to read instructions on how to put things together.I understand that some people have complained about service and so on, but honestly, you will get that no matter where you go. Every time we have come here we have had very good service primarily because we have patience. There usually is only one maybe two people here at most which is fine. Its a specialized furniture store not a fast food place. In that regard a little curtesy and understanding go a long way.Keeping all of that in mind you will definitely NOT be disapponted in this place.

RUDE. Nice stuff but...RUDE.We recently bought a home in Kailua and are looking for some nice teak outdoor furniture. Our friends recommended this place and Bali Boo’s cumulative rating of 4.7 would suggest a completely different experience than the 1 star I’m leaving them.First off, I had to search out the lady behind the counter to ask for help. No biggie. It’s a big store w two buildings, but I had walked right by her earlier without any typical pleasantries I’d expect from someone actually trying to sell high end furniture. I digress. Anyway, she then brought me to the other building, showed me one table then without saying anything, literally walked off. No kidding. I looked up and she was halfway back to the other building.Maybe my flat brimmed camo hat, ratty t-shirt and shorts didn’t belie the fact that I literally was ready to purchase a large teak table w chairs. Maybe I should’ve dressed up. Maybe she was too preoccupied w snacking on her granola bar. Either way, I walked across to the other building and let her know that I was taking my business elsewhere...and she made no attempt to make things right. Unreal.Total bummer of an experience because it’s literally 5 min from our home. I’ll be sure to share this experience w others here in Kailua and where I work.
