We found a winner! We were in Montana for a week and were searching for the best coffee. Definitely found it at Montana Coffee Traders! And the cowboy scramble breakfast has been a daily favorite. I don’t think anything beats this coffee for me!!

Absolutely pleasant. I grew up with R.C. the founder of Montana Coffee Traders, in Whitefish, MT. I remember coming into their old wooden A-Frame building off the highway, just south of Whitefish, and smelling what seems, now, in my memory to be a mixture of cedar wood and AMAZING coffee, which he imported himself from growers in Colombia, Bolivia, Nicaragua, etc.Its a real pleasure to see theyre still using great beans. I have lost track of the number of times that i have promised myself not to return to the Kalispell branch of Montana Coffee Traders. Theres nothing wrong with the place exactly: its fine. Just the kind of place that ends up being kind of disappointing. Each visit mildly irritating. Guaranteed.Plus one star for being a good source for burlap bags.

Great Coffee, Friendly Staff, and open space. Didnt really have a lot of Bakery Desert options which was kinda disappointing since thats what the locals here talk about the most and the coffee.

Been frequenting this location more because of being down this way more and it is my new favorite! Love the coffee drinks and teas, and the breakfast and lunch plates, of course. I enjoy mostly the quiches, scones and thai curry. Friendly service, and the food is fresh and hot.

This is a great place to stop for lunch or coffee.It is downtown. We had a short stroll to go inside but enjoyed the ambience inside.We were served by friendly people.The soup of the day that I had was chili.I would order it again. The coffee was tasty, as well.I know I will enjoy future visits to Montana Coffee TradersIt seems a pleasant place to enjoy time with a friend or just by yourself.😊My friend lives in Canada and enjoyed her visit as well.

This place is by far one of my favorite stops for breakfast and lunch, its amazing! You can really taste the quality of the food, great atmosphere, and the employees all look happy and eager to assist you. Great place to meet up with a friend and enjoy a great meal and a coffee that you will remember.

One of my favorite places to get some work done and enjoy lunch and a coffee. They actually have an incredible menu with some great options and a pretty unique assortment. They used to have a Cuban sandwich that was to die for and an awesome breakfast burrito - both of which are no longer there, however this has forced me to find some new favorites and I have not been disappointed.

Cool, except I cannot find the beans! You would think that, in a coffee house, the beans would be fairly simple to require. However, in this establishment, it is quite the contrary! The beans take a considerable amount of effort and stress to locate! Sad...

Great food options for vegetarians! They serve breakfast all day and even deliver to certain parts of Kalispell. Their prices are a bit steep and they can sometimes take a while, so I gave four stars only. However, I would recommend this place. Parking is more challenging at the downtown location, but they always have such amazing food!

Only a 1 star because the biscuits and gravy tasted like onions and I couldnt eat it. Maybe warn people about the amount of onions you use in your gravy before letting them gross themselves out. Ive literally never had gravy that disgusting. Everything else was good but man... that gravy ruined my day.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would, coffee is not good to start with but the reason is for the worst service and embarrassment!I ordered my coffee and they charged me for half and half and Carmel and I tipped, when I got my coffee it was empty and I asked can you please add more ice and put more half and half and they said no go up front and they will ring you up again for extra and I wanted what I asked for, the guy pulled out my receipt for what they charged me for in front of everyone and was literally going off on me. I said okay add more ice and I let him know this was my first time there and it was the worst service I had!Never will go back and support a company that is not about making customers (paying) customers and I purchased 2 bags of coffee that I won’t drink because it isn’t good.

We came in at a quarter to two, (they close at two). they asked us three times if we wanted go boxes and we said no. We sat in a booth and got our coffee. I asked for some napkins. it was very cold inside so we decided to way outside in the sunshine. Within minutes we went to go back inside but they locked the door, motioned for us to wait a minute. made us wait for the remainder of the time outsidethe door. Walked us our food in go boxes with no napkins or the jam we requested ended up having the eat our food in the car with plastic forks. Not the Saturday sit down brunch experience I was looking forward to after a 50 hour long out of town workweek. If I could rate no star I would.

I felt like I was bothering the workers by rudely showing up and interrupting their conversations with my coffee order. Wont be back where I dont feel welcome.

Ive come to Kalispell every year for four years and this is the best restaurant I have been to by far. The staff is unreasonably friendly, the food was excellent, quick, and reasonably priced. The potatoes are particularly great. Open wifi, plenty of street parking, nice atmosphere. I literally have no complaints. If this place existed in my city, I would go there all the time.

So far the food I had was good I enjoyed it. And my chocolate jitterbug was good. Nice staff, good place.

The food is great. Their fast-- the atmosphere is exceptional-- they have a selection of bakery goods & their right on Main Street in Kalispell if you want to walk to near by shopping stores after a full lunch. try it out youll keep coming back. Oh & their coffees are wonderful. Kw

This was my first visit to this area of Montana. Needed coffee this morning and found this place. The coffee was good but they also serve light breakfasts, brunches, and lunches. The facilities were clean and comfortable. They staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This place had amazing food and coffee. I was very impressed by the fact that they had vegan/vegetarian options that were simply AMAZING. You can tell they pride themselves in serving quality, delicious meals for all kinds of customers. Coffee was out of this world too. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if youre in Kalispell!

The breakfast here is great if a little more then I would like to spend on a regular basis. Some of my best memories from high school was walking here during first period and eating with my friends. The service can be a little slow when you order food since they are more focused on the coffee most of the time. However, the coffee is spectacular and is the main reason most people come here. I do wish the prices were a little more reasonable on the bulk coffee, but specialty places usually are a bit more spendy. The decor is cozy and rustic, again definitely suited for a great breakfast.

I had the Breakfast Wrap with turkey; along with Moroccan Mint tea. For lunch I had the Homemade Soup and Salad. The soup was that days special - Mushroom Soup. Both were delicious!! Great customer service.

Please put a comfy couch in the corner for studying. Xoxo love the coffee and the employees are friendly.

I do not understand why people like Montana Coffee Traders so much having traveled/lived all around the country and Ive been to fabulous coffee shops. MCT is in no way a great coffee house. Thats my opinion of their coffee and espresso drinks. However, their baked goods are very good.

Great coffee, great food, great people, and great stuff for sale. I only wish they were open for dinner.Also, probably the most vegan friendly non-vegan coffee shop/restaurant Ive been to. They have oat milk out with the half and half so you dont even have to ask, and every sever has immediately known what menu items were and could be made vegan.

I miss the old location. It used to be such a fun, interesting place to grab some breakfast or a tasty lunch, but the new place is sterile, boring, and even the food isn’t as good. The service is severely lacking, the pastry case sad and only half full, and they are almost always out of the drinks on their specials board (at least erase the drink if you can’t make it). All the charm from the old location is gone.

I love buying coffee for my friends when I go to Kalispell. I really like the signature blends: Buffalo Blend, Grizzly Blend, Glacier Blend. I get a free cup of coffee when I buy the coffee packs, have a baked good and relax for awhile.

I love starting my day at Montana Coffee Traders in kalispell. Every single person who works there is friendly and provides superb service. Management is actively engaged and creates a very pleasant experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I highly recommend MTC whether you are a local looking for your go-to coffee, or you are visiting and want to experience local ventures at their finest.

Love their food and their coffee, pretty much cant go wrong here. So excited to have a place in this valley with good vegan options!

I had the breakfast that they serve called the Big Sky. It was good and pretty filling. The chai donut was somewhat of a miss, but we rebounded with chai tea latte. Overall, it was a nice place to be this morning.

Americanos are to die for, rich heavy crema on top. A double shot is more like a quad. Now thats what Im talkin about! Also an excellent breakfast wrap. Great service too.

Great breakfast, ok coffee (it has that green taste instead of roasted flavor). Bus boy and cook were super nice. Order taker and one of the guys in the back/coffee need to work on being less snarky and more friendly. So tired of going to places where the customer service acts like it is annoying that you are there.

I also miss the old location. The new location has a snobby setting. The food here is amazing but it is incredibly slow... plan on hangin out for at least 25 minutes even if you order food ahead.

I usually love the coffee here, but we came on Monday on Christmas Eve and the service was extremely slow, and the coffee was NOT HOT. I took my latte home and microwaved it. They must have had someone new on coffee bar. I was not impressed.

Sad to see the old location gone. This new spot, while on Main st, lacks any and all character that the old location had. Now just feels like any other pitiful coffee shop. It truly is ugly inside. The only decent location left is in C Falls. Please dont ruin that and build a drab boring location like the ones in Kalispell and Whitefish. Skip it and go somewhere else.

Great, nice, and fast service! The coffee is great here but dont forget their menu. I recently tried the pesto quesadilla, and it was awesome. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Parking lot is tight, dont take a big rig in there.

Breakfast is so good. I had a good wet cappuccino. I dont recommend the pastries, we got two different items and they were dried out and seemed old.
