We needed a washer and dryer as soon as possible, but wherever we went to look for appliances, they were out of stock or too expensive. Back orders left, right, and center. So we started looking for used appliances. Almost by accident, after looking for 2 days, we found Houston Appliance.Getting someone to answer the phone was a little tricky, but once we were able to talk to someone we were told that there was a selection available.We were able to get the washer and dryer we wanted, they delivered them for an acceptable fee, and hauled away our old appliances as well. And there is a 2 year warranty on both machines.But wait! Theres more!The dryer malfunctioned after three weeks. We called to ask what could be done. They sent out a repairman the next day. He said there was nothing he could do unless he brought it back to the warehouse. However, he could bring us a temporary replacement or a permanent replacement: our choice. We told him we would like a permanent replacement. He brought the replacement the next day and hauled off the other machine.We are very happy with the machines they had available, and with the customer service. Well Done!!

Putchased washer and dryer set in June of 2020. Dryer stopped working in July 2021. Spoke with Shane explain how Dryer stopped working, said I wanted to purchased another dryer and Shane said that he would send over another dryer just needed to pay for delivery. The dryer was delivered the next business day. 5 star service.

I have nothing but good things to say about Shane and the service they have given me. My sisters dryer (15++ years old) caught fire early this week but, living about 1500 miles from Katy, there was little I could do to help. While shopping for a replacement on line she found HoustonAppliance (dot)net. I called. Shane was helpful to a fault and immediately understood that my intent was to give the dryer as a gift to the best sister any older brother could have. Plus their prices were music to this retirees ears.Delivery was prompt and their staff was courteous and careful.I am a long-time recycler and can think of no better way to avoid waste than by keeping well-made appliances in service.Thank you(Oh, if I only lived closer; my range is showing its age... I bought a refurbished fridge and it did not seem to be cooling like I thought it should. They replaced immediately and there were concerns with replacement. I could see the lit up orange hot plates and could hear the moisture dripping onto it sizzling and was concerned if that was normal. Also visible was what appeared to be a flame. Also had questions about the cooling ability. They scheduled a tech to come out but cancelled at last minute. Discussion about controls by phone, explanation about hot plate and the promise of a call back after reviewing the videos I had sent settled things for a bit. It has been a month and still no call back so I am assuming there is not anything to be concerned about and moving on. Price is decent and there is a fair year warranty. Tech truck trip if they have to come out but repair is covered. Mixed experience, good and not so good but I am content enough at this moment so I would not write them off for a future purchase. They have lots of used appliances. The price is a little bit higher than some of the other used appliance sellers, but they offer a 1 year warranty and are down to earth friendly people. Always fair to deal with.

Great experience! I had a small part break down on my dryer and when I brought it up there for repairs I was on my way home again with a new dryer in less than 5 minutes! Additionally, John showed excellent customer service. He went above and beyond by waiting for me after business hours because I had let him know I was coming from across town and was running a bit late. He even showed me how to properly mount my dryer to my truck bed!! He didn’t have to do any of that extra stuff, especially since it was free under my warranty. Thanks again John!

I bought a refrigerator, dryer and washer from them. The problem I had was with the refrigerator. They had to repair it more than 4 times in less than 4 months. They then sent a loaner refrigerator and that one wasnt working properly. So we finally decided to just permanently switch the refrigerator out. So the new one was roach infested. I have NEVER had roaches in my house EVER. I told them to get the refrigerator out. Luckily the roaches are gone too. I ended up getting a refund for the refrigerator. The big lady in the office had an attitude with me when I asked for my refund and told her about the roaches. I left my kids in the car with the ac on due to them not coming into their warehouse with the covid. She was upset that I didnt shut the door and I told her no I have to watch my car my kids are in there. She then said well I have a camera but it didnt cover where my car was and plus I needed to hear and see what was going on even though they are 9yrs. She then spelled my name wrong on the check and got mad because I said I wasnt waiting on a new check. I had to wait for them to get the cash. The one thing I can say was that they tried to fix it, Jeremiah was excellent. The others are trash. Only get washers and dryers from them if all other options fail. Stay away from refrigerators!

This was an amazing experience! I bought a washer a dryer from Jonathan. He was a great listener! Jonathan LISTENED to me and provided just what I needed and didnt push something completely different.He sent me videos because I was unable to go in as well as showed me all the parts and explained what they were on the video clips. He took my order late Saturday while he was heading to the rodeo. He had my order completed immediately (after office hours) and delivered my appliances early Monday morning! He had a professional team there to install and they resolved some issues I was having with connections. There were no hidden costs and he was a man of his word. I will only do business with Jonathan in the future!

I purchased an electric dryer and I am extremely pleased. I was hesitant at first but the agent on the phone was so pleasant and we communicated via text messages about delivery & specs. The gentleman came on a Tuesday, as promised; however, I had incorrectly informed the agent my parents had a gas dryer, when they actually had an electric dryer. I was mortified! I immediately called & texted but it was after hours by then. However, the next morning, I get a text, “they’re on the way with an electric dryer.” The gentleman who delivered was most pleasant & professional. I would/will definitely recommend others.

I bought a fridge and a dryer from this place about 4 months ago. The fridge had a small issue and needed a part installed. They came out within 1 business day to fix the fridge for free. Super professional, and great to do business with.

So my wife and I purchased a total of three high tech washer/dryer sets from Lowes. All three were disappointments due to the new federal government regulations governing water usage. These guys are absolutely awesome. Every time I have had a question they have been very helpful to me. I needed a part for my icemaker and they found it for me and provided me with incredible price! Very happy with these guys. I would absolutely recommend them. The only issue is that they are difficult to find. They are behind a shopping strip but they are worth the search.

Everything was OK when I first bought it but when it came time to repair it they were confused they didn’t know whether to pick it up or they were going to send somebody to repair it then they picked it up to repair it and when they brought it back to my house it still didn’t work they told me it was my outlet so I said OK I will pay you once I figure out if it’s the outlet they threaten to take it back from me they make threats so I would never buy anything else from them

When I went to the shop, my dryer was already was cleaned up and ready to go. Very clean!. Shane delivered the dryer the next day and it looks and works great! Very nice people. I would definitely buy more appliances there and recommend anyone to them that are looking for a great deal on used appliances.

Used them twice. Its used stuff but they are great at replacing if any issues. My recent washer wasnt great. They replaced it. Came out twice. They had a really good 2-year warranty. The current version is not bad at all. Free in-shop. $75 in home.

I bought a used refrigerator for my garage. Found an older nice one in very good shape. Brought it home and it wasnt cooling as cold as I thought it should. I spoke with Jon and Mike and they were most helpful. They offered a free replacement or to let the technician come out and take a look at it. The technician came out the next day on a SATURDAY. He fixed it and it works great. These guys went out of there way to make sure I was fully satisfied. I highly recommend this place!

I had called the shop the day prior and ask for prices for a particular washer and dryer the sales guy gave me prices of what he had and I informed him that I will be picking it up next couple days, next day I went to the shop and the the washer was no longer available but the shop manager upgraded the washer for me at the same price quoted originally and had it delivered and installed that same day!If you are looking for used washer and dryer or any other appliances I definitely recommend this place they also gave me 2 year warranty which was amazing!

THEY PITCH YOU A WARRANTY AND ALL BUT IF THEY SELL YOU AN APPLIANCE THAT DOES NOT WORK YOUR ONLY OPTION IS TO THROW AWAY YOUR FOOD WHILE YOU WAIT FOR THEM TO REPLACE IT. EVEN AFTER ONLY 2 DAYS I WAS TOLD THAT THEIR WARRANTY ONLY COVERS A REPLACEMENT AND THAT IS ALL. THE PROBLEM IS ALSO THAT THEY CONTRACT OUT THEIR TECHNICIAN AND EVEN HE DIDNT BELIEVE IN HOW THIS BUSINESS IS RAN.SPEND MORE SOMEWHERE ELSE AND YOU WILL PROBABLY COME OUT THE SAME WITH SOMETHING MUCH NEWER AND NO HASSLE OR SETBACK FOR YOUR FAMILY
