Greats flavor, my daughter love the ice cream, in my case the coffe is the best 👌

I always forget to take a picture of the ice cream cause of how delicious it is. The gelato is woah. It is a real one not just any ice cream. It is actually thick and it stretches and all like a real gelato. It tastes so good the coffee tastes like strong coffee. The flavors, you can actually taste the flavor which is rare when you find a good ice cream place. Y’all Should definitely try it. I recommend it 100% service is also amazing everyone is so nice there.

Well what can I say! All around unbelievable ice cream, cannot believe we got 8 flavors for the price of two cups! That’s a lot of ice cream to go around... we shared four small cups between three people for 11 dollars and 91 cents and I honestly cannot believe that it wasn’t some scam! Haha but seriously if you’re just looking for some nice to eat gelato this is your place!!! Go here if you wanna try somewhere new

The tiramisu gelato was really good! However, the customer service quality is why I’m giving it 3 stars. It was our first time there and the girl behind the counter didn’t even speak to us. While looking at the menu and the different flavor options my husband asked for suggestions and what’s the most popular flavors and she wasn’t very helpful. It made the whole experience feel awkward. So I suggest knowing what you want before you go.

I cant stress enough how refreshing The Lime Basil was. They had mango, passion fruit, lemon, and lime basil. I tasted the passion fruit but when I saw like basil it screamed summer at me, so I tried it and didnt even have to look further. It was a match made in heaven

This place was nice and the staff was very easy to work with.

Ordered turkey pesto on line, got ham and cheese. Tried to call, nobody answered. Had to combine two different flavors of gelato into one container because they ran out of the pint size. First and last order.

UPDATE: I use to rate this place 5 stars and this was my GO TO ice cream place whenever someone visited but just went there last night and they switched to only serving small or large bowls and no more medium sizes. When a small is literally $5-$6 and a large is over $7. The prices are ridiculous. I understand paying for good ice cream but def. not worth the prices when there are other ice cream places almost just as good for a lot less. Ice cream is still amazing here but the pricing makes me not wanting to go back.

I’ve been here a few times and this is some of the best gelato I’ve had. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend this.

Hands down the best Gelato in Houston

My husband and I arrived 12:48pm (Friday) and it was closed. We waited 10 min and a lady showed up, she asked us to wait and showed that she was coming to open the door to us, but she went inside the store and kept us waiting outside. We waited 5 more minutes and left.

I dont understand how people are saying this place is expensive? I ordered a small cup with 2 flavors of gelato and the portion size was very generous compared to other gelato places. Not only that their lattes are great as well, and very reasonably priced. I paid around $9 for a latte and the small cup of gelato plus tip and it was worth every penny. They let you sample a bunch of flavors and I loved each flavor. The price is excellent and the quality, texture, and taste of their gelato rivals that of every other gelato place Ive tried and the staff are polite and helpful and always smiling which is awesome!

Love this place. It has become a family favorite. Staff is always friendly and great flavors. They also have one of the best cappuccinos.

Enjoyed the Dulce de Leche gelato after trying a few other flavors. The service was great even though there was only one person working. It was a nice and clean place. Gave 4 stars because Ive had better gelato elsewhere.

One of my favorite places to have my favorite gelato however they have always tropical flavors that they should be bringing back like Guava mint, Service in there is exceptional and their attention unique. I always like to bring my kids do you have the ice cream once a week and their gelatos are one of the best in Houston

Ive been to this amazing little gelateria several times, and every time the flavors are superb! Definitely recommend La Argentina, and well be back!

The gelato was amazing but I am leaving 2 stars because the service was horrendous. I waited in line for 27 minutes because the teenager behind the counter was very slow and inefficient, but that is not what was so aggravating to me. The thing that annoyed me more than anything is that she asked each person after they gave her their credit card whether or not they wanted to tip her. How inappropriate and rude! And after waiting so long?? I couldnt believe she had the audacity to do that. It made everyone feel uncomfortable, which is understandable because of how obviously undeserving she was in the first place. I told her not to ask me if I wanted to tip her and made it loud enough so that other people would realize that they dont have to let her put them on the spot like that. My visit was late in the afternoon on 6/15/20.

The best gelato in town

Really good gelato, though would have love to try macaroons but they said they don’t make them anymore. The staff was very friendly and great, would definitely like to come here again and try something else.

This small ice cream shop is so charming and cozy that invites you to try your favorite ice cream flavors and stay for a long while. Coffee is excellent and the staff are very kind and attentive.

Gelato is made of natural ingredients, and it is handmade and a family owned business. That said prices are okay.They have good promotions like 2 for 1 in small size on Tuesdays and discounted milkshakes on Thursdays. Small is a good size if you just came out from eating next door, but if you are really craving or want to share Id recomend medium size. They let you sample any flavors before having them. Now they serve 2 flavors in the small, as well as the medium or even a large. Also, their sandwiches toasted are delicious!

The guy behind the counter was super nice. Ice cream flavors were unique and extremely satisfying. Lots of variety with a clear taste of good ingredients in every product. Some of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had. Watching him make it was an art in himself. They clearly care about their product at this family owned restaurant.

Love LA Argentina! Theyve got happy hour on Tuesdays from 12-6 with buy one get one free small cups and cones. Delicious gelato. My daughter asks if we can go every time we drive by

We loved it, and we bought a kilo home after eating there! Pistachio flavor is the best I had in quite sometime.

On three diferente times we went for a banana split and they just say “ we don’t have bananas 🍌 “ there is a Kroger just a few minutes. They need to be careful about what they offer, they are supposed have the ingredients to have what the costumers ask for. One time that happens it’s ok but THREE times 🤔. Also some guys there aren’t nice. My husband just came from there and that happened again so he asked for different one and they said “ we don’t have strawberries 🍓 “ OMG 😮 what a terrible service. 😮😩😡

Oh my word yall. Best. Gelato. Ever!!!I got Davids Chocolate which had small brownie bites in it. It was so creamy and decadent. The brownie bits were perfect as well, soft to bite into. I will definitely be coming here again and again!!

Dulce de Leche is awesome, definitely recommend trying that. You have to try the gelato as well. The fruit gelatos are very fresh and I recommend the strawberry. All of the chocolate gelatos are very rich and sweet. Everything Ive tried from the shop so far has been worth it and I havent regretted any purchase.

Some flavors (particularly the raspberry and the super dulce de leche) were very rich and enjoyable, but the gelato was very icy. Too many similar flavors and a lot of mediocre options. Tasty, but not as good as some other gelaterias in town.

The only gelato that I have had better than this was in a small town in the Italian Alps. Awesome stuff!

Great flavor, but pretty expensive. My husband wanted amilkshake, but wasnt willing to spend almost $8. I like to be able to see what I might get, so I wasnt a fan of not being able to.

The strawberry gelato was so rich, creamy and fresh. Definitely a quality over quantity situation here which is very refreshing. The lemon and blueberry sorbet surprisingly rivaled the gelato. The sorbet was velvety and bursting with fresh fruit flavor. Next time Ill come earlier so I can try one of their specialty coffees too.

Good gelato. However we arrived 35 min before closing and I felt the server attendant was not happy to get customers nearing closing hours I guess. It felt I was a burden.

Today I was very excited to eat gelato here because it had good reviews and it looked nice but Im sad to say that I was disappointed. As I went in all I could smell was detergent and me trying to see the bright side was like oh at least is clean even thought the detergent smell wasnt good. While I was making the line the employee said that there werent many flavors because only one fridge was working but didnt pay much attention to it. When it came to order there were only two flavors available, chocolate with brownie and caramel,and the other was chocolate with almond;I do understand that I came when it was about 40 minutes to closing but is a weekend. After I left I noticed that there were about 8 people in line and they had only 2 flavors left.... One thing that I really liked about La Argentina is that they are true to its name and they speak Spanish. Another thing, for those who expect their chocolate gelato to be sweet be aware that it so bitter that you might think that is coffee. Gotta say I was really looking forward to this place as I had memories of eating gelato as a child and really enjoy it. It wasnt in this place.

So far this is my favorite choice for ice cream in town. The Dulce de Leche Gelato is awesome and the Alfajores just meld in your mouth. If you are taking care of health they also have Keto cupcakes. This is really quality ice cream (gelato) and desserts and the place is neat and clean.

The gelato was amazing but only one side of their freezer was working so were didnt get out first choice. The servings ate very generous, my husband and I shared a small (two scoops) and my daughter had a kids size (one scoop). We had the super dulce de leche and the tiramisu and my daughter had cookies and cream. The service was fast and friendly. The location is a bit small but nice and clean. We will definitely be back to try more flavors.

Went to this gelateria today for the first time. Was planning to go to your basic fro yo joint and we are so glad we didnt. Great gelato. Favors will blow your mind. Had a really great vibe to it. Just needs more people. Try it!

My wife and I came once per month at least. We love this place, the attendants are very kind and they tell whats new on the menu. For instance, we just have tried the banana split. Its a must!

Loved the place in the past but now it seems they went the McDonalds route. Instead of hot chocolate I got a cold tasteless Nesquik from a powder. Before it was really tasty and had a piece of Belgian chocolate in it.

My boyfriend and I come here for a quick gelato date on Tuesdays so we can get the buy 1 small get 1 small free. The workers are always very sweet and I love that they make their own gelato!! The space is on the smaller side, but I have no problem with that because of how clean they keep it and because we usually go in before school lets out. My all time favorite has to be their Super Dulce de Leche and my seasonal favorite has to be their Pumpkin; it makes me feel like fall really is here. I look forward to having many more wonderful dates here 😊
