Kevin provided wonderful customer service: Knowledgeable and professional with a friendly attitude. I came in to buy Bb Clarinet reeds and there were plenty brands and strengths available to choose from, including the specific brand I wanted. Kevin answered all my questions. Also informed me there are 5 in-house repair technicians to provide service needs when/if my students instrument requires a repair. I found that important enough to share with others. 😁Store had minimal space, some larger items on the sales floor, only 1 customer other than myself in the store around 10:30am. Staff were wearing masks, and masks are required in order to enter. Location is easy to get to, lots of parking available, Store is at the end of the first building on the left.

We were being using this store for years. First to buy good quality oboe reeds (Singing Dog Brand) and now to lease a Trombone. The leasing process was fast and easy. I highly recommend to include the insurance for the instrument. So far we have to make some adjustments to the Trombone, and we have not had any issues doing them.

This place is great to get your instruments fixed. They look thoroughly at the instrument, and fixed more than I thought was wrong with the instrument. Although it’s a very good business do not trust their due dates! My clarinet was supposed to be done in two weeks they kept it for three. Other than that it’s a great place and I would go there again. Update: a few weeks later and the exact thing I asked them to fix is now broken again they kept my clarinet for three weeks and it’s now broken again. Sorry but it’s now three stars

Thanks for taking the dents out of my slide first my trombone. Now I can tell why its called a slide. The instructions for how to give it bath worked perfectly. The store was very well stocked with instrument supplies and stuff that I didnt even know. So if you need it, most likely they will have it.

I have been going to H&H Music for almost 10 years and have never been disappointed with their service and expertise with my musical instrument.

Came in to get some violin strings and expected to pay more then I ended up spending. Also the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and even installed the strings at no extra cost they were very patient in the information they gave me was very informative Alec was very helpful

They did a great job repairing and replacing key pads. They also recorked and repaired key placement. I will use them again!

Visited the store with a long list of equipment from our band director. There was a short line and they apologized for the wait, which really wasnt a problem at all. They were so knowledgeable and helpful about every piece we needed. The girl who helped me explained what she recommended we should get new AND used. She saved me $$ and was so straight-forward and honest. I really like their store values and how courteously they treat customers. I thought this was going to be a stressful and lengthy visit while I searched aimlessly for everything, but it was fast and I spent less than I expected. Thank you, H&H. Sure appreciate you all.

Terrible custom service I called and spoke to Katy she told me they had the instrument I needed in stock and said they had plenty when I arrived after 40 minutes of driving they told me they didn’t have any in stock and let alone they didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience

Absolute pleasure to deal with. Son rented his trombone there for 3 years and never had an issue. Took it in for a final cleaning before we paid it off and they traded out his old trombone for a brand new one. Couldnt be happier!

This place is the worst I took my sons instrument for a repair and they refused to give it back allegedly the other parent has not made the payment on time. They kept my sons instrument and I had to see him do not complete his music classes and to stop practicing the saxophone.It is sad that schools will let these kind of business practices take place with these type of company their best interest is money and not music and education.I’m disturbed that my son still talks about this and mentions this from time to time. A good business practice would be to come up with a resolution or a payment plan of such to try and resolve issues between parents going to financial times instead of letting the parent take the instrument in for repairs and them not trying to return it.This company make sales with the help of school but then hurt the children and steals back the instrument and all the money you paid into this instrument is gone. If my family and I took the time to soon and go to court it would cost more money and a waste of our time then just take our money somewhere else and buy an instrument at another store who operates in better terms. HISD, Pasadena ISD should stop doing business with this company

From MY personal experience, the people working there have been friendly, cooperative, and sometimes even given me a much lower price for all my items than theyre worth on the price tag. When I take my high end Altus flute to get fixed (if a key is leaking or a pad is sticky), they fix it immediately within the first 2 minutes of giving it to them.From all of the REVIEWS that Ive read, the store is absolutely superb with new equipment such as tuners, swabs, reeds etc. But do NOT go and buy and instrument from them !!All of the reviews have said that theyve had issues with the instrument that they have bought or rented from the store.Thanks xoxo.

I rented a Bass Clarinet from the store and i worked perfectly fine and produced a beautiful sound. The only major problem was that the support for the bell was too small and didnt fit in the instrument.

They dont value customer time. I gave my daughters flute for service which they told should be ready the same day. However I went there next day and found its not ready yet and the lady in the reception couldnt tell me when would that be ready. Driving from downtown to that place after work is no fun! However they have me a loner instrument which helped them to earn 2 stars, otherwise would have given 1. Last thing, the lady on the reception isnt friendly at all!

We rented a euphonium for my 6th grader, who started band this year. It is the first time Ive ever rented an instrument so I didnt know what to expect. I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone, even if you live nearby. We had to take the instrument in 5 times to fix a sticky valve. The first time, I explained that I worked and that it took me an hour and a half to get to their location from my office, and asked them to replace the instrument if it couldnt be fixed. They assured me it was a common problem and had an easy fix. It wasnt. I ended up taking it in four more times, and I suspect they didnt do anything at all because there was never a change in the way the valves stuck. At one point, they told me that the instrument had to be sent to Dallas to be fixed, which is why it was taking so long. When I picked it up I mentioned something about it going to Dallas and the guy behind the counter was perplexed, explaining that they NEVER send instruments out for repair. Most likely, the person that told me it was sent to Dallas was lying. My last trip out there was to return the instrument and cancel the contract. I walked in with the instrument and said matter of factly, I need to return this and cancel the contract. The guy behind the counter, mimicking me in a sort of exaggerated, whiny, high-pitched voice repeated You need to return the instrument and cancel the contract. I couldnt believe it, and thought I must be mistaking his tone, but he continued to behave as if the whole transaction was a joke. As he handed me the receipt, he quipped, Thatll be $495.65, maam. The contract specifies only a monthly fee until you own the instrument, cancel at any time, so I was stunned and angry. Before I could ask him why in the hell I was being charged, he laughs and says, You should see your face!All in all, an extremely amateurish operation run by a bunch of grown children who didnt mature beyond 8th grade. Save yourself the hassle.
