From a beginner sewer, I went into the store with intentions of making flannel masks for my family and friends for the holiday. I went in and grabbed my different flannel fabrics and went to the front desk to check out. I explained to the worker that I a beginner sewer and I want to make 20 masks for my family. She gave me a yard of each fabric which was appropriate, and when she asked me how many elastics I needed I said forty pairs thinking they were a set. She cut me forty feet of elastic (I didnt speak up because I am socially anxious and this was a terrible situation). Anyway, I explained to my mom who is an experience sewer and told me that was too much elastic and I should try to return 36 feet of it. I went the next day to return the untouched elastic, and the same worker told me they will take it back but only give me 20% back. Hello? I feel that they low key took advantage of the beginner sewer not knowing what she is doing and asking for help.P.S. I think they are a front.

Nice selection of all kinds of fabrics and a reasonable price. I was looking specifically for a variety of green quilting fabrics and was able to locate 12 wonderful additions to my growing scrap quilt.. I could only locate 4 as fat quarters, but the sales person graciously agreed to cut the other 8 options into fat quarters for me!

This is a fabulous store for quilters, with a gorgeous array of fabrics, all kinds of sewing devices, and extremely helpful people in charge. I dont buy cloth off the internet--I tried it, the print was nice but the cloth was of poor to medium quality. So now I always go to New England Fabrics because the cloth is top quality and if you cant figure something out (like color-contrast or yardage) someone great will help you.
