Disappointed with customer service. Wax was not sealed, leaking out the side as of the box when it arrived. Unfortunately, candles did not set right due to moisture. Reached out to customer service to request replacement. After three days I finally got a response asking for pictures. Sent pictures one week ago and still have not heard back. I would not recommend due to poor customer service. I’m now left with wax that I cannot use but paid for and could have had a replacement by now but no response from customer service. I run a business and needed the wax to fulfill large candle order by November 1. Would not recommend this company!
I honestly cannot recommend them enough. LIGHTENING fast shipping and such high quality products! Their fragrance oils are to die for. I ordered from them (again!!) this morning at 9:15 EST and my order has already shipped and it’s only 12:30 EST. Plus it’s the day after a holiday. First time back since before the pandemic. I noticed the prices have gone up a significant amount since I last shopped here in 2019. Nevertheless, the workers are friendly and helpful and their inventory is solid. Once you have your line up of fragrances, preferred wax and wicks figured out, I recommend making your purchases online going forward, then picking it up. If you place your order at the location, expect it to take a while for them to get everything together for you. That being said, they are very diligent about making sure your order is correct before you leave.
I was tired of spending 100 a month for candles and wallflowers at BBW. So, I decided to look into candle making. I found lone star candle company, after a google search looking for a supplier that wasn’t owned by a huge corporation. I have bought from them twice so far, and I am extremely happy. They have some amazing dupes, as well as new scents I didn’t think I would like, but ended up liking them any way!! Their scents are strong with out hurting. My mother is allergic to a lot of artificial scents. She can’t even walk by the candle sections at the grocery store. When she comes over, I don’t have to blow out my candles; or turn off my wax warmer. Lemon chiffon is her favorite so far. Lone star has definitely made my candle making journey worth it!
Im not sure. I cant read any of the reviews on the products, but it says that theyre there. I think Ill skip for now until they can become more transparent.

Let me start by saying, as far as fragrance oils go, I would hands down give this 10 stars if able. They are spot on as the description says, a tiny amount goes a very long way and the varieties are endless. Im a Texan who loves supporting my home states businesses. We are an Army family stationed in Missouri and I still supported a Texas business even though Im sure theres local companies I could have gone to. Im starting out my soap business and also ordered from another popular soap and candle company as I did not know of your company until later. Heres why I gave 3 stars. I was only able to order 10 oils as thats all the budget allows at the moment. I was shocked at the price of shipping but paid it because I heard these oils were phenomenal. I opened the box to see a bit of brown paper over 10 bottles of jumbled oils and thats it. No protection on the bottom of them at all. I know theyre plastic but my point is, why is the shipping so outrageous yet the packing of the items are the cheapest possible? The other company I ordered from had expensive shipping as well but they were bagged, padded,extra padded and more. They were secure and not just tossed in laying jumbled with brown paper. I am not thrilled with $12 plus for 10 tiny 1 oz bottles and that lack of care into packaging.

Very nice staff. I drove two hours just to pick up my order and not have to wait on shipping. I called ahead of time, and asked how do I pick up a order. Lone Star is by far one of the best candle supply companies out there!! Every time I order from them, I’m shocked by how quick I get my orders. Other candle suppliers will take 2 weeks to ship my items, but with Lone Star it’s 2 days. They also have great fragrance oils that are strong and have great HT, I have yet to find a scent of theirs I dislike. Their customer service is also exceptional! I had an issue with wax from the manufacturer (no fault of Lone Star’s), and they went above and beyond to resolve my issue, including several follow up calls to keep me informed on the status of my issue. I cannot say enough good things about this company. If you’re reading these reviews because you’re deciding whether to place an order, go for it! You won’t regret it.

Not very happy with the way they package my order. Everything was just thrown in with no care. I bought a lot of fragrance oil and those could be spilled or broken during transportation but they couldnt even wrap that. I bought another order from the flaming candle and it was a whole another experience. They packed everything with bubble wraps and peanut and way faster shipping.

Ordered igi6006 from this company they sent me a tracking number that is not working and I haven’t received my wax
I emailed LS back in February to ask if they ship to FPO addresses, I was told yes but I would have to order over the phone. I had one of my family members call to order it in because LS opens at 11 pm my time and I need all the sleep I can get. So when my family member called to order, they were told that LS does not ship to FPO bases, I was surprised because the email I received and their website say otherwise. Im just wondering which one is it? do they ship to FPO bases or not?

Lone Star has been our go to from $0 revenue yearly to $200,000 revenue yearly within three years. Lone star does not disappoint! F yhere are any issues that I have had in the past they were handled quickly and without hassle. I live almost an hour away and I live close to two other candles supply stores but Lone star is just better so the drive is worth it. Customer service can be not so great at times but overall I feel that we are treated with respect. And they are very patient especially when we were newbies my wife and I starting out with a lot of questions. So thank you to everyone that has helped us! We will continue to support!

Ok so I see a lot of people BASHING this company for having issues with late shipping, or making mistakes. We are ALL HUMAN and are all going through the pandemic!! I would expect some decency from our society but I guess not! I have been a customer of Lone Star for almost 2 years. I would actually think they would remember me because of how often I order. These people are AMAZING, and have made my candle process so easy. Yes some products are out of stock more than they usually are but let’s be honest? They cant seem to even get an order right. 1st order was missing items. Their second attempt at fulfilling my original order was still incomplete. Its been month after I complained and suddenly I see activity that my items have shipped. They did not apologize, which would have smoothened things over a bit. Do not purchase from this company.
Shipping has taken an absolute nose-dive. Not only are products taking an obscene amount of time to even get to the shipping company, there is only 1 carrier available for shipping. It used to take 2 business to get my orders (I am in Texas), now it is taking a week plus. Not sure what is happening there, but other candle suppliers are not having this problem. The only reason I have continued to purchase anything form Lone Star, is because there are some fragrance oils I use in my scents that I havent found replacements for yet.It is shameful. I dont know if staff was reduced during their shutdown and they just didnt hire people back or what. No idea, but the decline in the quality of service is incredibly apparent.12/30/2020 Update: Processing has approved markedly and things seem to be getting back to normal. I appreciate the response.
One lone star review for Lone star Candle Supply.This is not my first bad experience with their customer service, but this time it was bad enough that it left me so frustrated and upset I am resorting to leaving a review.Recently I purchased some candle wax through them along with a handful of sample fragrances. The wax arrived separately, but as soon as I opened it to slice it up into smaller pieces I immediately could tell this in fact was not the correct wax, despite someone writing 6006 on the shipping box. Aside from that handwriting there was absolutely no indication of what type of wax, or even what brand it was.Ive been working with 6006 long enough now to know that this wasnt it.I immediately emailed and called customer service to leave a message. My cries went unanswered and I tried again. Nothing. I had to emergency purchased a whole 40lbs of slabs of wax from a different company. The first week of December and Im participating in an online holiday market and I have to spend even more money, and now Im crunched for time.Oh, and my samples never showed up. LS didnt even provide separate tracking for the samples. So thats also incredibly infuriating.If you dont need to purchase from LS, DONT. Its not worth the headache.

I’ve placed numerous orders from this company and it was great at first but now nothing but problems. They take forever to ship anything which is a huge problem when running a company, they NEVER email back. Customer service sucks which is a huge reason why I placed my last order with this company
I tried this company because they were local to me in Texas. I must admit I love the luxury of having a local in state supplier, but they are really going to have me wait almost a week to get my orders!! The shipping and processing times are poorly ran by lack of leadership. Most of us are business owners, so we know how that keeping lack of staff can slow a business down well as risk of loosing old and new customers.
Great website! I was overpaying so much on other sites/amazon, I’m relieved that I found Lone Star! When I made my first order I was actually shocked at how affordable it was and how quickly it got to me- it only took like 4 days even during a pandemic that’s slowing down shipping times! When I received my products I was thrilled with the fragrance oils, everything was packed well and arrived in tact. They also have awesome looking starter kits I have referred a lot of friends to because they’re way more reasonably priced than other starter kits I’ve looked at. It’s awesome that they have candle making info as well, not just supplies. I plan on using Lone Star for all my candle making supplies from here on out!

Ordered fragrance and 1000 wicks, was NOT contacted that the wicks are out of stock and order shipped without them. Customer service lies and said that they called to inform and is unwilling to make not right by shipping them for free when theyre back in stock. Terrible customer service and business practices for a distributor. You cant count on the accuracy of their website inventory or their willingness to accept responsibility and make it right.
The customer service alone has earned all of my business. I wanted to upgrade my whole candle operation and LSC was either 1st or 2nd on everyone’s list I spoke to. They’re a Texas company so that made it an easy choice. I made a “small” 80lb wax order with stuff to go along with it and planned a 3 day weekend road trip with the wife to pick up in person and avoid shipping that heavy wax. Family emergency Thursday/Friday derailed everything and Lone Star walked me through getting the order shipped or holding it a little longer.Well I tried to salvage something of the trip and left Friday morning but traffic, construction, accidents, etc. turned a 4hr trip from Houston to to 6.5. The staff went so far above and beyond to help me get my order picked up it’s unreal and I’ve found a supplier for life whether I stay making candles as a hobby around the house or make this into a small business.Everything was packaged and stacked and when I arrived with the packing right on top for me to check off as I loaded everything. Every employee I ran across from the front office to the warehouse and loading area was super nice and friendly. LSC walked me through everything from my first phone call asking for advice on starting out that morphed into a much bigger order, figuring out shipping or pickup, order changes, etc.

Alisha helped me as soon as I got in. I have a lot of anxiety driving on highways and interstates but I decided to pickup at location instead of shipping to save on shipping costs. My order that was ready for pickup was found quickly. I had placed another order that wouldn’t be ready until the next morning but I asked if there was any chance it was already done so I wouldn’t have to make a second trip the next day. She informed me that orders probably haven’t been pulled for the next day yet but still went to the back to check. After a few minutes I could tell it wasn’t but instead of coming back and saying no she automatically went and put my order together. I really appreciate her taking the time to do that. Nowadays people really would just make you come back when it’s due. This was my first experience in the store as I usually just ship but I will definitely be coming back and can’t wait until the showroom opens up again!
I would have given a zero if that was possible! This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! I have not ever been so disrespected in my life! Not to mention the website is very misleading and has false/incorrect info on their products! Also they are sloppy with their packing your shipments & looks like they just throw or toss in all your products with boxes of jars unsealed & upside down & fragrance bottles all thrown in & upside down.

They have very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Theres many, many cool molds, jars, waxes, and other candle products. (Palm wax is my favorite. Such cool designs on the pillars! And the palm wax for containers, its called Glass Glow, it truly glows as the candle burns down.) Im so impressed with their selection of fragrances!! Its unbelievable how many the have!!!I just wish they were open on Saturdays!!! I work in downtown Dallas and its impossible, unless I leave work early, to get there before they close.

WHY DOES THE SITE ALLOW THE BUYER TO ORDER THINGS THST ARE OUT OF STOVK ??!! THEN DAYS AFTER THE ORDER HAS PLACED AND SHIPPED THEN THE CONSUMER IS TOLD THE ITEM WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. I ordered wicks (which you can literally do nothing without) and FOUR DAYS after my order I, apparently received an email saying they were not included in the package. Taking care to mind your inventory could help with this problem now I am afraid to order anything with fear that it MAY IR MAY NOT BE IN STOCK BUT I WOULDN’T KNOW TIL AFTER MY MONEY HAS BEEN TAKEN

Im a night shift ER nurse. I picked up candle making as a hobby as a fun way to deal with the recent increase in stress from current events. Until now, Ive ordered from this store several times - no problem. I placed an order and had them hold it at the store; shipping seemed like an unnecessary expense due to a family illness that I am dealing with (and with them being bed-bound, its nice to be able to make them candles from time to time). I was in the parking lot at 8:50 (ten minutes before open), and waited until 9:05 to walk to the front door. The door was locked with a note to call since the showroom was closed; I spent 15 minutes trying to get a hold of someone so I could get my order. I drove off, I was exhausted from my shift and was losing sleep waiting. When I finally got a hold of someone I was really annoyed, and explained the situation. No apology, no offers to fix it, no respect for the fact that I had been up all night dealing with BS and I was losing sleep driving over to this side of town to get my order. I quote, verbatim, *giggle*, Im not sure how that happened, we are all here and the parking lot is full of employees. Yeah, I know, I watched all of you walk in at 8:50 and then ignore me for 15 minutes after you were supposed to be open. Then she put me on hold with a super patronizing robot message we appreciate your time and patience because she couldnt find my order. Bravo for trolling me. I was on my way to the bank at the time to initiate a charge-back to my card, so at least the nice young lady was able to save me some time by refunding me.Anyway, it might be a little more work to get fragrances and supplies ordering somewhere else, but Ill be happy knowing these people arent getting my money. Im not entirely sure how well their business model operates where so many businesses are closing or filing bankruptcy that they can afford to lose customers and money, but props to them for doing so well that they can. Id recommend ordering from Amazon. Not only would this have never happened with them, but customer service would never have been so flippant with me if it did. Fitting that this place is called Lone Star candle supply and I have to rate it 1 star.
Don’t bother, didn’t drop my order off to fedex to ship for 8 DAYS after my order. Expected today - FedEx updates that they’ve only just received my package today. Terrible for small business. I have now run out of wax.
Great place to shop for skin safe oils. I make natural body butters, lotions, bath soap and Pain relief products. They allow you to smell the different cents .The people that work there are so nice. There one particular lady that works there she sit to the right as you enter, that remembers my face and always talks and laughs with me. Great customer service experience.

Have never been happier with a company. Lone Star Candle totally saved my life during quarantine and a stellar product as well. I own a small decorative pillar candle business and usually order my dyes at my local craft store or online, but all products are either out of stock or have a ship date of anywhere between a week and a month right now. I have been in dire need of aqua colored dye to keep my business afloat and I wish I had ordered from this company when I first started my business.My order was fulfilled within literally the same day or early the next and was shipped with priority mail. It arrived faster than Amazon Prime. I ordered two bags of the aqua blocks and when I opened up the box I yelled outloud, woah! Look at all of these!! .. I had been in such a fluster when I ordered that I didnt pay much attention to how much actually came in the bags and I was so shocked and beyond ecstatic over how much dye was included in each bag for SUCH a great price. I immediately went to go test the dye and it is a beautiful color and is EXACTLY what I needed.Im about to fill up my shopping cart with a bunch of other dyes Im also in need of right now and anything else I can find to support this company. Just found this place. I had been ordering needed items online. I will be saving so much on shipping being able to pick it up. I just started buying from them and havent gone through previous supplier to start buying a large amount. This far I have been very pleased. The fragrance oils have been good quality and lasting. No serious hiccups from using the ones I have purchased. I will update when I have used a more diverse amount. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my order was pulled quickly once I had purchased. Again I just started using them but this far I have no complaints or anything concerns. Definitely excited to continue using them and updating my review with much more detail.

I continue to order from Lone Star & almost each time Im missing items or they arrive broken. I just received a package for the second time missing my slabs of wax. Ive received numerous jelly jars that are broken not due to transit but due to how they package their items. When I order from Candle Science I never have this problem.

I have been eyeing this company for a while. The shipping cost was kind of pricey. But considering that no one really offers free shipping, it really wasnt a deal breaker. This was the first time I have ordered from Lone Star and I am very happy that I did. After comparing company after company there are two that I find myself being addicted to. Lone Star has made that list. The fragrances that are offered, sweep me off my feet. They also offer candle containers. Shopping at Lone Star is a one stop shop for me. and to make it even better, they are local, well at least a hr away. Not a bad commute for fantastic products. Now today the scent is in and they charged me $10 for 1 bottle cuz my order was shipped. They are very rude. I referred plenty of ppl here.
