Good selection and good prices is why Rural King is still the hot spot while similar competitors completely blew it. You cant buy what is not in stock or for sale. Also changing your hours that dont match your posted store hours on the door (ie kicking people out/locking the doors 30 minutes to 1 hour early) is another nail in their coffin and more reason to keep going to Rural King instead. Some people drove miles to get there and dont appreciate lazy staff that want to go home early! Keep doing what you have always been doing Rural King. The competition is now on the third owner and name and already messing that up too!

Went there and they had toy Metal carts for kids for sale they were on the pallet and the guy said that they had to build them before they could sell them. So he said they would be on the shelves and up for sale in a day or 2. Went back in 2 days later figured that was enough time well they didn’t have any then when I ask when they would be getting more in they said they didn’t know been in at least 15 times since and still nothing. One of manager is the one who took the last 2 when they come in. I’ve looked online and they don’t have them there. With this being said don’t think that works should be able to shop when on the clock or days they work.

Very kind employees. Not having masks on was a nice change (dont have to run back to my car to get them). When I asked for assistance they walked me over to the general place where I would find it. Overall, I had a great experience and will come more often. 5 stars

This rural king is the best one over all the ones Ive been to and I live in florida but when I come up to Indiana I love to come here, great prices as well.

This place has a lot of cool stuff you wont find anywhere else

I go there to buy gloves for work. Theyre the only place that carries Kinco 1888 size med. nitrile coated spandex work gloves. But if youre a farmer or into live stock. Also they seem to cater to big and tall in their clothing department. Lots of welding supplies too. Like I said, its an okay store. Nothing bad to say about it. So do go out and take a look around for yourself on a Saturday afternoon.

Returns are horrible, you can stand in line for a long time while they use return line for checkout! I hate to shop at rural king but I can bring my puppy. This company needs help running efficiently BUT I doubt they care enough to do anything about it!

Great place to get all your farming, lawn, and outdoor needs. They also have a wide selection of Guns!! Every time I go in the staff is very helpful and polite.

Mask protocols not consistently followed by employees. Friendly interaction and able to assist locating items to purchase. Actually walked my husband and I over to area rather than just instructing us.

We went for goat fencing. They had a good selection. There were lots of other fun things like fall decor. We also found meds we may need for our goats. The prices were reasonable but we found some things cheaper elsewhere. The store was a bit organized.

Need this store to get the essentials. Kendallville would not be the same without Rural King. Checkout is a little slow but the deals are worth it. Thanks for bringing back the popcorn 🍿.

Bought a new minibike here, I have already taken it for a spin. Everyone else was sold out or way too expensive! I now love rural king over tractor supply and rural king has better prices and always in stock! Way to go rural king!

Large farm store with nice variety of items.

Its very helpful and handy. It has a clothing section, food, hardware, animal sections, etc. And dogs are even allowed!

Young man behind gun counter was very helpful in finding and recommending the right trail camera for my needs. Young lady helped me locate a box cutters and the correct blades. The checkout lady was also very kind and even intact with my son to keep him occupied. Wonderful visit!

Your store is awful. Dirty, stinks, workers are rude. Stay away. Go to another Rural King store or go to Tractor Supply.

Lots of stuff that anyone would need, but its pretty dark inside. The overhead lights arent very powerful.

We love going here to get anything from stuff for our animals to amo. And lots of things in between.

The best price on nuts, bolts & washers, they sell them by the pound.

Customer service was amazing. The lady that help us was Linda from the Kendallville Indiana store and she was very nice and showed us where the item we wanted was

I basically just started shopping Rural King. Ive always shopped at Tractor Supply. The ppl in here were extremely patient when I had my 1 year old shepherd with me for social training. Even the staff was over the top inviting. We had a potty accident and a one of the guys got me paper towel and I cleaned it up, he was busy with a customer too. Ill be going back for sure.

Myself and 3 others were confused about some clearances priced items near the front of the store. We flagged down an associate after being ignored my others and inquired about the pricing. The associate stated he didnt know and walked away. Another customer took several like items to the register to obtain pricing and came back with very skewed pricing on the same items. There were many associates...I counted 7 near the checkouts, none of which cared to assist us not were they able to explain their own pricing. When I went to the checkout expecting to pay one price, it rang up something else, I replied that I didnt want the item and the girl stated you arent the only one to question this, its been happening all day. This isnt the first time I have had a negative experience at this location, and the management seems to struggle to keep the store neat and organized as well.

Really impressed with this place. Clean and bright well packed shelves. Attetive caring sales people. Our person went out of his way to track a battery which was on sale that wasnt on the shelf. He found the mfgr had missprinted a box with a wrong part number, making others think they didnt have any in stock.

Went in for a toilet flapper. Easy to find with the size I needed (larger than standard). Quick and friendly check out as well.
