This is hands down my favorite candle company! I began shopping here because it is a locally owned small business, but I continue shopping here because their products and customer service truly cant be beat. You really cant go wrong with any of their scents, but The Gulf, Southern Decadence, After The Storm, and Creole Tomato Leaf are a few of my favorites!
Wicks NOLA is fantastic! I just ordered 250 candles for gift baskets. Tiffany made and delivered the order in just a week. She was kind enough to bring them to my office.The candles themselves were amazing! Each sent was lovely and high quality. A lot of love went into making these and it shows. I highly recommend Wicks Nola!
The store is cute and they have a large range of scents. I purchased a large order of travel candles for a group with custom labels. They were done on time, looked great, smelled great and were well received.
I absolutely love the wax melts. They are so smooth and silky. Simply luxurious! The fragrances smell amazing and are long lasting. The room sprays are very potent as well. I use them whenever I want a quick burst of freshness. I’m always getting compliments from visitors when they enter my home. I highly recommend this company.
I am in love with these candles! They smell so great and the scent lingers in the room for much longer than most candles I’ve ever tried!! I had a great online experience every time and understand that it’s a small business and it is still a pandemic.For anyone looking to see where your order is from them, I recommend downloading the shop app. It shows where your package is on a map.
Love, love, love the room & linen sprays and wax melts. When you walk in the store it smells heavenly! I spritz my pillows at night or just when I want to freshen. The scents are so calming and they last a long time. Ive given the sprays as gifts and the mini travel candles (everybody loved them 😍). If youre looking for quality scents, look no further.
The fragrances are amazing. Just be aware it may take some time that’s why I removed 1 star. But I think I will add it back because the company was very responsive when I inquired. I noticed they did add a price for jumping ahead and rush orders if needed. They are attempting to keep up with the demand.I have ordered again and I can’t wait to receive them. My husband keeps asking me about when I am going to place the order so I just did. I’m happy to have found this company to make my home smell amazing!
Update: I’ve left my original five star review below but word of warning: only shop in store with this company. Their products are amazing, but they can’t seem to get a handle on their customer service or shipping. I placed an order in November that despite receiving notification that it “shipped”, still have yet to receive, and several emails and messages have been sent without response. I don’t want to have to request a refund, but can’t see any sort of reality where I may actually get the new batch of candles I ordered and paid for. Super disappointing.“Wicks NOLA makes what are easily the best candles Ive ever owned. They dont make run of the mill scents that you could pick up anywhere; their scents are complex, delicious, and STRONG. The candles have crazy long burn times which is great because I want mine lit all the time :)Love their products and love supporting a small, locally-owned business.”
I love this company. Their fragrances are complex, quality-made and delicious. I use their room sprays constantly but still dont run out because of how rich and full the scents are. The candles are divine and make incredible gifts. Very excited to order the Christmas scents they just released!

Wonderful products! The fragrances are strong and linger for hours after use. I absolutely love their linen spray. Shipping does take a while, they state this is several places... unfortunately I think they’re a little overwhelmed with the notoriety their business has received. Still worth sticking out the wait. I’ve ordered 3 times and plan to order more.
I’ve always had pleasant interactions and experiences with the shop owner. I love the quality of the product. My favorite product is the diffuser oil. They help me to unwind after a long day at work. I’ll be a forever customer.

Not going to lie, the candles are wonderful. Hands down some of the best I’ve ever used.Unfortunately, that’s where the good ends. Online buyers beware. Order fulfillment, shipping, and communication leave a LOT to be desired. If I’m ever in Louisiana, I’ll stock up, but online ordering is a pain.The first time I ordered, I thought the delay and poor communication were due to the holidays, the popularity, COVID delays, et cetera. My next order took a while to arrive, but it finally showed up. When it did, the metal containers were dented and a couple of wicks were damaged, but I was happy to have them so I didn’t complain. At least they came.Another order January 30th. I received an e-mail that said it shipped March 2nd, but it included no tracking information. As of April 28th, the order still has not been received. I e-mailed and got no response. I reached out via social media, and a week later no one has answered my inquiry, though they’re active on that platform quite often. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I hope they figure it out. Not sure how many would-be loyal customers they’re willing to lose.
I was really excited to try some of the products offered by Wicks Nola. I placed a big order and planned to use several as gifts. They were overwhelmed with orders (new publicity) and I didn’t mind waiting a while. Once I got a shipment notification, I waited several weeks. Nothing arrived. I tried contacting them 3 separate times through different means and got no response. Ultimately I had to request a refund through Etsy even though I would have rather had the products late. The worst part is that I still wish I got my order, even now! Oh well.
I advise anyone who is interested in purchasing candles not to purchase from Wicks Nola Candle Company. My experience with this company it takes over a month to receive a placed order to be shipped to my house, which is less than an hour travel time. This company is not customer friendly, I tried emailing several times and to reach out by phone, NO RESPONSE! Unacceptable!
I have placed several orders from Wicks Nola, 2 of the orders I had to ask for a refund from Etsy because my requests as to a delivery status went unanswered for weeks. Foolishly I placed an order for Christmas in mid-November, received a notice on 12/1 that it was shipped, however there was no tracking information. As of today, January 3rd, there has been no delivery and after 3 separate emails, no response. These candles might be wonderful but the customer service is the worst that I have encountered, and I shop a great deal online. I wish the owner luck in the future but she will not receive anymore money from me. I caution anyone who is ordering online from this company to be prepared not to receive your order.

I, like many others probably, placed my candle order during the 2020 Holiday shopping season and while they did take a little over a month to be delivered, I forgave Wicks Nola for the long wait period because their candles are divine! I ordered the Bourbon Creme Brulee and Gingerbread Macaroon candles and they both make you wish the wax was edible lol. Im a gourmand fragrance kind of gal so these are right up my alley! Great projection even when theyre not lit. Also, Bourbon Creme Brulee might be one of the best candles Ive ever smelled.I did take off one star because I agree that their online customer service needs improvement. The long delivery didnt bother me as much because I know that COVID has affected the way small businesses operate depending on the location but it can be disheartening to inquire about an order only to never receive anything back.Nonetheless, Im glad I decided to give this company a chance and I already plan to buy a few more candles. Lemon Doberge and French Quarter Beignet are calling my name!
I, like other reviewers, wanted to support small business when purchasing holiday gifts. I ordered from WicksNOLA in November and received all of my other online gift purchases but theirs in time for Christmas, despite postal issues. I sent my 4 th email to them today. Thus, far, the only response I received from them was when I made a public Instagram post. They DM’d me and agreed to a refund, which I have yet to receive. Their products may be lovely and I wish that I did have the opportunity to receive them and write a glowing review. However, I have no product, no refund and apparently, WicksNOLA has a serious customer service issue !!!
I tried to support small businesses this Christmas and ordered early on December 4th, well before their own established guaranteed delivery before Christmas date of December 11th. As Christmas became closer, I emailed to see if it was going to arrive and got a generic Email saying they were delayed but would send a confirmation when shipped and it would be sent before Christmas. Nothing since then and it’s Christmas Eve. I even emailed earlier in the week and said I’d be flexible on what scents I receive so I don’t have to spend more money on gifts and also asked for a heads up if they really were not gonna make it in time like it was suggested( so I could shop last minute for a gift) No response. 80 dollars on 2 candles that haven’t even been shipped since my purchase on December 4th. Really disappointed with the lack of communication.Update: I never received a response to my email even offering to be flexible on different scents if they were more available. Nothing. Finally sent a message on insta like they say to do and no response. I posted a comment on one of their insta posts and it was deleted and no other response from them. However, the next day I did receive a shipment confirmation. Here we are a week later and the item wasn’t even shipped. I asked for a refund and they gave a prompt refund ( that’s good at least) and simple said “be blessed” . Such an insult to people trying to support their business. I can see that I’m not alone based on the reviews here. Treating customers like they don’t matter is not a good way to run a business . A simple response to an email or Instagram message goes a long way after someone has purchased and waited for your product for over a month plus when promised before Christmas. But hey... they give a fast refund.
Okay product. Poor communication. Long delay in receiving product. Not worth the money and time.
Placed an order for Christmas in November and received items after the holidays. Missing an item without an explanation. Weeks later and after countless emails, I was finally refunded for the missing item, but at the discounted rate. Go figure.
