Food was excellent. Half chicken and waffle is worth every penny. The fried chicken is really crispy/crunchy and has a good flavor. Custom Omelettes are well done. Food was hot and fresh when served. Wes was friendly and funny while meeting our every need. Two thumbs up!

Amazing service by Wes the World Okest waiter. Very attentive to our needs. We got the bottomless Bloody Marys, super good. The shrimp Poboy was delicious. The hamburger steak was juicy and fresh. Great experience and we will return!

Started with coffee and Bloody Marys. They were both very good. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and my husband had the Boudin Egg Rolls. The food was outstanding. Service was phenomenal even with though it was very busy. We sat at the bar, because...New Orleans, so we had a nice diner experience!

Came in to have breakfast this morning. Was greeted eventually and directed to a back table that was covered in dirty plates and food from a previous customer. It took a bit for the table to be cleaned before we could sit. We ordered our food, which was mostly inedible due to quality and overall temperature. I understand the business of the morning breakfast crowd, so I didnt bring my dissatisfaction to the attention of my server. At the end of my meal, a ticket was dropped on our table for half of the full price of the meal.I assumed that was a courtesy of the establishment for waiting for a clean table and food that we didnt even eat half of. I paid by card and tipped well in cash. When receiving my card back to sign for the payment, the charge had increased to the full amount rather than the amount that had been presented. At this time, the cash had been pocketed from the book and the server (Brittany) had disappeared and I could ask no questions. I called to speak with a manager who looked up my order to confirm I had paid the correct price, which I already knew.However, I was presented a check with charges for 12 bucks and change, and was charged 35 and change for a meal that was inedible with the exception of my orange juice and coffee. The manager informed me that there was nothing he could do because I had paid the correct amount and that he would speak to my server about being more mindful of her transactions and that she likely dropped the wrong ticket. Ive been working service industry for 15 years now, and I have never once decided not to communicate a server error to my customer. Transparency with your guests and management is imperative in the service industry if you would like to keep your customers, and I feel that management simply did not care and was content to make excuses for what I feel like is not only dishonesty but theft.On top of all of that, Brittany cleared our plates and removed uneaten for off of the them to take home for her neighbors chickens. You could have at least asked if the food was okay since we ate barely any of it. The pancakes were hard, the hashbrown cold, the toast and biscuits still tasted like flour and were removed from the plates for the servers neighbors chickens and the ducks that live in the vicinity of the restaurant.All in all, I paid out 45 bucks including tip for orange juice and coffee. I will not ever be back to this establishment and suggest that if you come here, watch your ticket carefully. My suggestion is to dine at the daisy dukes location on napoleon where service is great and the food quality much better. If I could leave 0 stars, I would, because one star is too generous for the poor experience I had.

Found this diner on Google and it had very good reviews! This place was freaking awesome inside, looks like a classic diner which is so much fun! The menu has plenty to choose from. The order did take a bit long to come out but it was busy so I didnt mind much. The food came out and it was delicious!

The food and service were perfect. Sharmaine was was a delite and very nice. The chicken was flavorful crunchy and delicious. This was the best Belgian waffle Ive ever had. And ohhhh the fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious! Such a great experience

The food was excellent! This is one of our regular places we frequent. Our Server Wes was very down to earth and friendly! He made our experience even more better!! I’d definitely recommend this place to my friends and family who visit us!! 🤤 Come, you won’t be disappointed!

We visited the NOLA area and stayed near this Diner. We ate here twice during our stay. We tried a bunch of different items and the food was AMAZING. Great prices. And awesome service from Wes our 2nd visit. Hands down the best shrimp and grits and very inexpensive for such a large amount of food. Would definitely come back whenever we’re in the area again. Only complaint I have is that they aren’t open 24hrs. We would have come late night to get more food if they were lol!

We tried several things on the breakfast menu and all were delicious! Food is fresh and they’re willing to accommodate modifications without a blink. Try the hand pies! Even better than our food was the experience that we had with our waiter, Wes. I’m fairly certain he’s on loan from Disney as he certainly brings quite a magical experience. He is outstanding and we’ll surely come back for the food and the amazing service!

This place was sooooo good. My husband keep talking about how the waffle tasted like a cake and he wilk be back to get it again. We stay in Texas but we were visiting family abd we loved this place. The waitress was very nice and friendly also the other workers were too.

The place is a hidden gem out in the open and I wish I would have found out about it sooner. The service was great! Our server was AWESOME and made sure we were taken care of before we had to ask for anything! The food was as good as the service!! 😋 I found this spot on the way home from the airport and I am so glad it did not disappoint because I will be back.

I’ve been coming to the Daisy Dukes on Vets for about a year. The food has been great, (really good chicken pot pie). The staff has always been friendly. Great place, not too crowded, and quite.

Took an early flight from New Mexico when we arrived we wanted breakfast so we looked up places to eat that were close to the airport. Wes was our server and we asked him what he recommended to eat. We got the burger, chicken pot pie and the French toast. Everything had great flavor and the customer was excellent! We definitely will be going back before we fly back out at the end of the week.

We sat in Wes’ section and were so glad we did. He was the kindest and most attentive server. The food was great. Chicken and waffles. How could you go wrong? My husband had the Cowboy omelet and he said it was delicious. We will be back for sure!

The food was good and the service was excellent! Not only were they as friendly as anywhere I have found, but they made sure I was taken care of up to the end. Brittany must know some magic because a to-go refill showed up at my table without me noticing and before I even asked for it. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I am in the area!

Im from Chicago, this is one of 3 of my favorite breakfast spots in Louisiana. I love their different types of omelettes. I have tried the seafood omelette and alligator omelette, it was well seasoned and so good it had my toes curl. The waiters were friendly and attentive, which is what makes me want to come back.

Good coffee, quick/friendly staff, and delicious food. We had 1/2 fried chicken on waffles, shrimp and grits and Chicken tenders on waffles. All of it was delicious but the shrimp and grits really stood out.

Walked in. We were immediately greeted. It took about 10 seconds for us to be seated. It may have taken another 60 seconds for our order to be taken. Food came quickly and make to order. We will return.

Eggs were cooked correctly, would have liked my hash browns crisper but they tasted very good. Our waitress was nice but there was another girl who never smiled and had a glare on her face while she was carrying food to other tables, almost knocking my mother in the head with the plate because she was walking unnecessarily too close to the table.🤷

The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. Service is quick, friendly and professional. Prices are very affordable and the food is Fantastic

Horrible experience!! First we had to wait 30+ minutes to be seated and the 45+ minutes to even get our food! When our bill arrived they overcharged us for everything we order and when we got our bill and asked about the prices of our food, the server advise prices were change but the manger hasn’t changed the menu yet. Bad experience overall!

We got lucky today! It was a little packed, but were still able to find a table. The atmosphere is super cold so the fresh brewed coffee will warm you right up. Waitress Vicki was super nice, made sure we refilled even with the mild rush going on.Ordered the chicken and waffles, AND BABY! IDK WHAT THEY DO THAT CHICKEN BUT BLESS THE CHEFS HANDS!

My son and I dropped by for the first time yesterday. Service was excellent and Brittany exceptionally friendly.Food was great.Haven’t been to other locations as not close to my home.Only drawback was traffic backed up from Chick Filet’ further down, stopped us from entering businesses.Hopefully something can be done to remedy this for all concerns.Thanx DD for coming to Kenner

WES was our waiter. He was a kind and happy guy. Very attentive.. This was our first time trying Daisy Dukes. The 1/2shrimp poboy with a cup of gumbo was delicious. My husband at the club sandwich on wheat toast, also delicious. We will be back.

The staff here is great! They’re super friendly and the food is amazing. Another Plus is they have some amazing Cajun Hot Sauce made by the owner!!! So if you’re looking for some good food leaving or coming into N.O. Come see them!!

Food is awesome. Pancakes are big as are the other portions. The only negative at this location is if you are overweight, the bar stools are really close to the bar and the booth style tables are tight but they do offer a chair to sit from the aisle which helps. The AC is definitely kicking so bring a light jacket or a sweat shirt.I will definitely eat here again!

Great local spot with great food. Both servers, Wes and Sharmaine, were awesome. They kept the drink poured and the food was delectable and crisp. The spot is nice and clean. The bathroom are kept up for a busy place like this.

Awesome! Great customer service from the waiter (Sharmaine) to the owner coming out of the restaurant to asks us how was the food and service! We are visiting from Colorado and we asked the waiter about her amazing lashes. She told us where to get them from and she coincidentally had a new pack on hand that she gave to me. How awesome is that! Great place to eat (food was hot and taste amazing) with amazing customer service as I previously stated. 🙂

The food was good service was just ok. We had to ask for things like refills. I had the 2 egg breakfast with bacon hasbrown and biscuit. My daughter had the french toast breakfast which she enjoyed. Ordered an extra side of grits a little to runny but had ok flavor. It was grit soup almost. Small establishment with more seating at the bar than actual tables. Good atmosphere would visit again.

Came here with the New Orleans jeep club and tried their sweet chili wings. Lets just say the wings and wing sauce is way better than hooter. I would definitely come back again.

Clean environment, nice staff. Lunch food was pretty terrible. Hamburger steak was bland and the fries bent over when you picked them up due to grease I suppose.No one in the kitchen was wearing hair or beard nets.Worth noting that my wife and father in law loved the downtown new Orleans location when they visited a few weeks ago.

Stopped by for breakfast on our way back home to Lafayette, LA and found this great place to eat! From customer service to food quality, this place was amazing. Will be our new go-to for when we are in the area.

Wife and I walked into the restaurant and were seated. 5 minutes later 2 large separate groups came in and were seated. We put our orders in and then got passed over until everyone else were served. When I asked how long our order would be I was told my order got put into their system last. This means that my wife and I had to wait for 15 other plates to get served to those who arrived after us. Very curious as my wife and I were the only African Americans in the restaurant. Food was hot but mediocre so we will not be returning.

The gumbo was quite literally gelatinous with less than no flavor. The 3 inch poboy piece was okay, but I found it funny that you gave us no less than 6 syrup containers and no ketchup for our to go order. I won’t be back and also can’t comment on the service, just on the food.
