This is a wonderful little store. They have a really good hot roast beef po boy here. Their french fries are really good too. I find their food a little on the salty end. They serve generous portions and their prices are reasonable. They also have a good muffuletta here.If you are looking for lunch that is not fried your options are very limited. (Note to store).This store does have a worn out appearance in and out.The staff here are friendly and helpful.Thank you Chateau Super Market for staying up and running. Finally gave in after refusing to go here.Ordered 2 Po-Boys.Bread soggy tomatoes still so thin you can see through them. They didn’t put the cheese I requested nor pickles.Paid $10.99 for this soggy mess. A lil much even with everything going up on prices. French fries always cold.Enough said I think. Bad time to order anything while the Snap offers hot foods till end of OctLet’s see how busy they’ll be after that stopsSorry this used to be the best place to order from Am I the only one getting this kind of food?

I really like this place the Pot Roast is to die for and the rest of the food is awesome. Great Atmosphere and people. Now even though I love this place and really order from it everyday almost. I had to give it 4 ⭐ because when it comes down to large orders at one time they will mess up your poboy sizes and over charge for a smaller sandwich. But if u just pay attention to your sandwich every time you be okay.

We love this place! Sometimes getting through on the phone is hard but my girlfriend Robin will just run there if that happens and literally the food is ready in 10 mins. We get the pork chop plate w fries and bread and shrimp poboy. Sometimes the bread is a lil hard and the porkchops are a lil too salty or too thin on occasion but overall it is Good food fast w good prices, so we love it!

ALWAYS friendly and personable staff. By far the BEST Chicken Tenders around (much better than that other restaurant which specializes and serves only Chicken Tenders) and costs considerably less. Now if we could get Chateau Supermarket to be a bit more generous with the amount of fries with the order, this would be perfect.

Great local spot similar to a Bodega in New York. Short order deli is a little slow but calling ahead fixes that. Good good and good variety. Shop has a little bit of everything. This is a great place for both convince and quality.Gas pumps are slow but good prices.Staff is helpful and friendly.

Truly appreciated this store. They opened their business after Katrina no utilities but they helped us all for needs after the storm..Nothing else was open..Ive watched them grow from a small store to expand to great food and selections of necessary miscellaneous food and household items.The staff was the most dynamic team I’ve ever seen in any business hands down.Changeover of Associates has brought down atmosphere of the store.Management not overly friendly, especially since this Pandemic. They are super busy making money money. I no longer care to shop there too commercial and worried about the $$$$ signs.Just one thought I leave for them.Greedy will make you Needy

They ALWAYS have the best gas prices!!! This is the ONLY place I get gas. They also have a restaurant with authentic Cajun food. I just bought some Randazzos king cakes as well....Didnt have to stand in line a minute! Great local feel; the workers recognize me and are always so friendly. I definitely recommend Chateau Supermarket for getting gas, dinner, drinks, or even a quick grocery trip!

Ive been shopping at Chateau Supermarket ( locals refer to it asThe BACK store) ever since my parents moved us to Kenner. Its family owned, and theyre very nice people. They know all their regulars by name, and they know dozens of the families that reside in the subdivision of University City, east side. They know me, my four brothers, two sisters, my parents, and my four children. Ask of us, they know by name. They hire smarty friendly and honest people to work in their store also. Im there aft lady once a day.

This place is pretty convinient and has decent prices. The gas is usually really cheap though. Have to pay inside though for gas. Only reason I am taking a star away is because one time the staff was very rude to me because i brought a drink into the building. I dont know why thats a big deal.

Its right around the corner and open every day !Yes !! Château serves some delicious po’boy sandwiches and a variety of other good foods for lunch every day. You can sit down at a table and watch television as you eat.This little corner store conveniently sells just about anything you might have forgotten to get when shopping at your local grocer’s. You can also fill up your car at one of the two gas pumps located in front of it.Check it out !

I got a turkey sandwich on french bread dressed 8t was delicious.

The staff is so friendly, and helpful. They Will do anything within their power to put a smile on your face. PS also has cheap gas!! which is great!

Respectable selection of tobaco products, spirits, and beer. Food served (fried things, comfort food). Very limited parking, 2 gas pumps. Atmosphere decidedly lacking - they have a old timey cash register and staff can be a bit surly. Its safe, but it feels like it was picked up out of the ghetto and dropped into the suburbs. I dont stop there unless its on my way, and even then, if there are other options, I take those over this.

I met a lot of cool people at this store. No complaints really!

Just left out of Chateau Supermart to do a western union waitedin line until someone help the other conter person then an attendent came from outside to assist me after her ciggerette break after i waited about 10 min she asked me for my ID to send money i really thought only when you recieve money you need an ID so that pist me off with her they need to use there brains that store sucks with service I MISS AMY

Just got the Catfish and Shrimp plate. Cooked to order is rare but they still do it! Very reasonably priced, especially for the amount of food that you get. Im a good eater but couldnt finish my plate. The catfish is nice and thick and the shrimp are cooked just right. Not too much breading on either and you can Definitely taste that the seafood is locally caught. I dont usually do reviews but I felt like sharing my good experience with this little hidden gem :) (They also have really reasonable cigarette and alcohol prices)
