Theyve done a great job keeping my car repaired over the last few years. Ran into an AC issue this summer that was extended by a string of bad parts (manufacturing error, not mechanic error), and they made it super easy for me to get the part replaced each time.

Have never used Hi Land Garage but will definitely be using them for any future car repairs. They diagnosed and fixed our car in just 2 days, then even washed it! They were very honest with the issues with our car and recommended a transmission shop since our car requires transmission work that they are not able to do. They replaced the air conditioner compressor in our car and it has a four year warranty for parts and labor...unheard of!!! My cars issue is currently being diagnosed. I have had the best customer service ever and will not take my car anywhere else. They have a five star rating and they have definitely demonstrated to me how they obtained that rating. Hi-Land Garage was SOO amazing. I had an emergency, my Jeeps transmission cable had done something funky - I just was not sure WHAT. I had put it in park and it started reversing (long story short). They sent me a tow truck number I believe Kens Auto Rescue and he was there within an hour. They let me know as soon as my Jeep arrived! They were very busy but they still took the time to check and sure enough two screws that were holding the cable had come off! Easy fix, I got my Jeep back the same day. 😊

Im new to town and called knowing I needed a break job before I got here. They were able to get me taken care the following week and my brakes work better than they ever have. I bought my truck used with 112K and am at 249K now. When I dropped it off I mentioned an electrical short I was experiencing and asked if they had time they would look at it. I was called about an hour after I dropped it off with the diagnosis of both issues and given a price. Within a few hours everything was fixed and I was treated with nothing but respect and appreciation for being a customer. If I ever have another issue I wont even bother looking for another shop, they have my business. They even tried to talk me out of a more expensive repair saying it wasnt necessary which would only have saved me money and lost them some but I did it anyway and had them replace the front pads simply because of the amount of break dust the old pads generated.

Was traveling home to California when the engine over heated. These guys were super generous and saved me from being stranded 10 hours from home. 10/10 for amazing customer service.

This is by far THE BEST Auto Shop in The Tri-cities & the only one I will use. I travel from Oregon to take my rigs there. They have always been fair with me. My older son & daughter also take their cars there when needed. They do excellent work, listen to my vehicle concerns & are comparably affordable. I cant say enough great things about this garage. The A/C in my car died during the heat wave in the early part of June and I was in need of a repair shop to replace the compressor unit in lieu of paying the dealership an estimated $1700-$2000 for the repair. Not being a native of the Tri-City area, I shopped around via the internet and asked for a reference from a couple co-workers, one of them previously being a mechanic for 15 years. After a recommendation to use Hi-Land Garage, I called them and spoke with Charlie who was very friendly and professional. He provided me an estimate over the phone that was substantially less than the dealer price and I immediately booked an appointment. I dropped the car off the morning of my appt and requested a ride home from the complimentary shuttle they provide. The shuttle driver (Curt) was very friendly and was easy to strike up a conversation. He gave me a ride home and picked me up when the repair was finished. The shop was planning to close early for the long holiday weekend but remained open beyond the planned closing time in order to finish the job and not leave me stranded without a vehicle over the long weekend. Upon arriving to pick up my car, Monica had it sitting at the front door of the office running with the A/C on full blast so the car would be cool for me after paying my bill. Everyone I had contact with was very friendly, professional, and helpful in answering all my questions and assisting with the repair to my satisfaction. In addition, the warranty for the repair is 48 months or 48,000 miles!! I would highly recommend Hi-Land garage to anyone in need of car repairs and would use them again in the future should the need arise. An exemplary example of a local business that appreciates their customers!

Sure enough they sent Charlie over and he was able to unlock my car. He got there within minutes of me making the phone call and had my car unlocked in just as fast of time free of charge! Im new to town, and I called Hi-Land 10 minutes before they opened because my car was giving off a strong gasoline odor. Someone answered and told me I could bring it over to get it checked out. Charlie came out and took a look, (found out Id lost my oil cap and oil had spilled all over my engine!) filled up my oil, and cleaned up the oil spill for me, all for no charge! Super friendly and obviously theyre not out to nickel and dime anyone. Will go back!

Brought the car in to check on an oil leak they suggested other services which I authorized. When they called back theyd done the other services and not the oil leak. They did that in the end so in general the service was good.

My boyfriend and I were traveling from Montana to Oregon when we noticed my pickup making a terrible noise any time I went under 60 mph. It got so bad by the time we hit Kennewick that I had to pull over and find the nearest shop I could limp her to. Thank freaking goodness for Hi-Land Garage!!! Not only were they able to get my truck in immediately to replace my CV, but it was finished and ready to be back on the road within two hours of our emergency stop, and I wasnt charged an arm and a leg for the repairs!!! Had my car originally towed to Highland to work on it, later that day I received a call back from Hi Land Garage saying that they weren’t equipped to do the job needed so they towed (free of charge) to another local shop that had the means and no-how that same day. Kurt, Charlie and the crew are awesome! We take our business fleet of vehicles to them when something goes wrong and they always take exceptional care of us! Recently, they ordered parts for what I thought was a timing chain issue. When the parts arrived and they opened up the motor, they noticed more issues and gave me options to address them. The costs outweighed the purchase price of the used vehicle, so they buttoned up the motor, returned the parts and didn’t charge us, even though I suggested they should for the time they spent. Great family owned company that knows how to build relationships through customer service.

My car broke down on the Freeway when I was on my way south from Seattle to Boise. I believe I was very fortunate to find Hi-Land Garage. In Seattle I have my own mechanics I trust and now I was totally at the mercy of a mechanic that I didnt know or have experience with. I have a BMW X5 which can be a very complex car to work on and I did not want to take it to a dealership. That is just me. Also, I knew it was an electrical/electronics issue.Using a Google Maps search and reading the reviews I decided to call Hi-Land and Monica, the service Advisor, in a professional and knowledgeable phone conversation convinced me to bring it in and they would take a look. I had it towed (a different story) and Hi-Land got right on the troubleshooting, as promised, even though it was a Friday afternoon and they were short handed. Charlie, a knowledgeable and hands-on shop foreman, gave me the low-down on the repairs, an estimate of the time and the cost that I believe was fair- which BTW, they came in slightly under. One other observation.. The shop was clean and organized.. always a good sign.Richard

We’ve used them for some years now and they always do a great job! Good customer service and they remember their customers. Never feel like we’re being taken advantage of or like they they find things just to find.

We were on a roadie from Montana to Oregon, and our car died nearby. They had no time or capacity, but made both. They quickly found that the repair was going to be expensive. Charlie clearly hated to give us the bad news, and was clearly relieved when we told him it was covered under our extended warranty. Meanwhile, Monica made us comfortable and helped us arrange a short-term rental car. Charlie and Monica were both there on their day off to meet us when we came back through town to pick up our repaired car on our way back to Montana. These are just good people, the kind youd like as friends and neighbors. And this was honestly the easiest and most enjoyable breakdown ever.

They were quick to get me in and taken care of; I dropped off my car and within a few hours they called me to let me know what was wrong with it. Kurt was very helpful in explaining what was wrong and how it could be fixed. Affordable and professional with a hometown touch, 5 stars.

They are mindful of costs, don’t mind giving you an estimate, and do a great job explaining the work they propose. Plus, they’re funny and all-around good people.

I did not use the garage service for the typical service. We were traveling through from out of town and our daughter managed to get herself tangled in her seatbelt, this was the closest shop to us so my husband went and asked to use some tools. Without hesitation Albert came to our rescue and was able to help us out with tools to get the seatbelt off without having to cut it. We tried to pay for the service because he took the time out of his day to help us but he kindly refused the money. It goes to show the morals you have at your shop and the character of a person. Kudos to you, and a great big thank you for saving the day!!!
