First time here today for my son. Booked online with the option in a hurry and chose with any barber since weve never been here before I didnt know which barber to chose. They have alot of barbers do chose from which I liked! And the fact that they had an option to get in right away is amazing! Their website is great to navigate through. Very professional. Upon arrival, the door says to confirm your appointment through your email before entering. While I was reading the directions, one of the barbers came outside to help me. Super nice guy. Im impressed with the great service so far. They only accept cash but they do have an ATM inside so that was helpful - but I went across the street to my banks ATM while my son was getting cut. I definitely plan on coming back.

Do your research based on what you’re looking for. Each barber tells you a little bit about them on the site. I choose Dang because of the way he cuts hair! Nothing but quality from him!! I’ve been going to him for 5 years and as long as he’s around I’ll continue to see my dude!

I’ve been taking my nephew to this shop for a couple of years now and have always had such a great experience. Everyone is professional, friendly and does quality cuts. Even when my 2 year old was not cooperating for his haircut, they were so helpful and patient, could not recommend TKB more!

Long time kingdom barbershop customer, come in to a cut with Danny and he gives me a skin taper while I asked for a shadow taper, he cuts my eyebrow with blood dripping from it, says nothing about it and finishes the cut extremely quick. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, would not recommend, haven’t had a cut in two months and this ruined my entire week.

Have been coming here to various barbers and have always had a great experience but recently went to Danny, he finished up my haircut quickly in 20 minutes with the sides uneven and he razor cut my cheek and referred to it as a paper cut. Two pretty big cuts are on the top of my cheek now and dont seem like they’ll go away any time soon. Not a good experience.

My first experience with this establishment is pretty positive and I recommend you try. Like most people that rely on others to help keep their hair presentable, stylish, and personable I’m very particular about who cuts my hair. I set up an appointment with Danny over the internet via their website. Got there and he was ready on time. I don’t mind waiting but it was nice to get in the chair as soon as I got there. I went during the late morning on a Thursday so I’m not sure how busy the place can get.Parking is easy enough.Danny was a respectful person. I definitely appreciate that in a barber! I showed him a pic of what I wanted and he gave me exactly what I asked for with his own creative interpretation added in. I’ll definitely go back and hopefully become a regular 👌🏾

First time there Barber Ali must be new. I had to go home and shave my head the right way. Did a bad job on my beard had to dye to make it look right. Not sure about other barbers but this aint the truth

This place is a good place to get a good cut but the owners price their cut way to pricey 40 for just a cut for that there should hair wash bears and cut for 40$ but that my opinion.

Honestly, this is the most confident Ive been in a haircut ever. I had been going to those chain places and everytime they got something wrong or just straight up didnt cut my hair how I wanted it. Getting my hair cut by Chris was so easy! Told him the idea of what I want and he nailed it! I will be going to him as long as I can. It really is worth the extra $7 over most chain places. Great haircut, really easy to talk with. Highly recommend.

I recommend Alex Or Christian! They always get my sons lineup right everytime and both are great with the kids! We drive from Federal Way to Kent just to get cut by them 😊

Hands down the best barbershop out there. The new location is nice. My guy Z is a great barber, highly recommend him. Never rushed and always leave with a fresh cut. Fades are 10/10. Don’t waste your time/money anywhere else.

I tried to get a slicked back haircut, I showed the barber the pic of desired haircut. He said he could make it, but after half an hour cutting my hair, he failed to do so and still charged me for it. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

They did ok but the price is a little expensive for a regular haircut.

This is the first time Ive taken my boys here and I am never taking them anywhere else. We were walk-ins and they were very accommodating. They told us that there was one ahead of us. The wait wasnt very long. I loved everything about the experience. The barbers who did their haircuts did an awesome job! I absolutely love them and they were inexpensive! Everyone was friendly and professional. The shop was clean and tidy. Definitely satisfied customers.

I love this shop, Alan and dang both are by far the best Barbers Ive encountered and I should have waited for them to have a opening but instead I was impatient and went to a different barber. DO NOT LET NATE TOUCH YOUR HAIR !!!!! 30 seconds after telling him I wanted to braid my hair he decided to use thinning shears without telling me its going to restart the whole process of growing it out. For someone that is supposed to be a professional obviously doesnt know what hes doing, shop is the best but not if your in Nates hands .

I took my son here for his 1st official cut and Johnny did a wonderful job. Johnny was great with my 4 year old son he made him feel relaxed and he didnt cry or move. Z is professional, on time and accommodating on last minute requests. Ive never waited more than 10 minutes for scheduled appointments. Haircuts are on point, detail oriented too. All you could ask for with your barber.

I walked into a local barbershop (no names) they destroyed my hair. Edge up on my beard was uneven balded my taper on one side and not the other. Fade was ridiculous and terrible. I called the Kingdom barber shop owner and he set me up with AJ Who completely brought my cut back to life, I didn’t even think there was fixing this cut till he convinced me he could do it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. AJ is the man thank you again for bringing my chopped up head back to life.

Kingdom is a good place its nice and relax and chill they do good cuts and beard trimmings here.

Went all around Kent area barber shops, and this has been my main barber shop since my first haircut. better line ups and fades, walk-ins welcome and very professional. on line appointment setting makes it easy to fit in your schedule and theres hardly any waiting time even for walk-ins.

Location: The first is in kent in the plaza. The second is in renton across from a 711 gas station and also next to a field.Ambiance/ VIew: It is very laid back in both of them. They usually have a game going on if there is one( basketball,football, etc.) . music or talking and joking. It is all mostly young guys with good sense of humour and willingness to do a good job. Very chill.Cleanliness: From what Ive seen every time I go; its always clean. The bathroom is always clean and smells good. When you go in you will normally see hair on the floor(being it is a barber shop) and someone cleaning it immediately. The are very good at cleaning and helping each other out. You will even see them cleaning their razors and more quite often.Customer Service: They always greet with a smile and immediately ask if you have an appointment. If not, they make sure they communicate with you on whether they have space and time with one of the barbers or if you need to set up an appointment. They are friendly and always ask how you are and about you. ( as a barber shop custom dictates.) They are both great at communicating.Barber: I have Ben as my barber( hes the og of the group) and he is always communicates and makes sure it comes out exactly how you want it. Ive had him for 5 years. It took me a few months to find someone good who caters to the crazy request of a Puerto Rican. ( we are very particular on our hair and always require a straight blade razor lol )We Stay Fresh! Hes become a friend. And as in all real, good barber shops a confidant.Options: The have an array of talent at both and are willing to do anything the client asks for. If your barber doesnt have the talent/skill to do a certain design or something along the lines of what you need; they have someone there who can help them out and make sure it gets done. ( mind you if it is something crazy, they usually will ask you first and recommend someone) :)Overall: No matter which one you go to you should have a good experience. If you are a true admirer of Barbershops then make sure you go here and let them know what kind of style, haircuts, fades etc. you like and they will point you to the best person to get it from. They all are very talented and some of them are fresh out of school learning from the old heads. I like that the owner Christian give new kids a chance to learn and make money there all the while he mentors them. They have gotten bigger and decided to open the second location. I hope they continue what they do and begin to open more Kingdom Barbershops with the same work ethic, jokes, stylings and demeanor. Highly recommend. Deuces.

We walked in early in the morning and were accommodated very promptly for a haircut. Valente did a fabulous job with my sons requests on style and executed very professionally the task. The lines are crisp and the lengths uniform. Well be back.

I like the eye contact that each barber gives you. They ask you what kind of haircut you desire, ask questions during the process, offer suggestions and serve you with a polite, respectful attitude. Not a rush job, they take their time and do an exceptional job.

It is the best hairdressers I have been in. The care and treatment was amazing to watch and the cut of my sons hair looked great. The salon looked fantastic too. The staff were very smart, friendly and took great care of there customer. My son felt great afterwards. I would recommend everyone expierience, it was brilliant for kids too. Didn’t see any women custermers or girls so not sure if the great service is extended to them. I will find out. Very professional and a very good price for what great service you receive.

This was my second time coming in here and needless to say I was not impressed.First off, when I called they told me they could do a design in my hair but when I asked the Barber if he could he said that he cant do that. I got over it and let him cut my hair, he took about 45 minutes which was nice and convienent and although the haircut looks pretty nice from the front, the Barber left a cut from the middle of the back of my neck going up to my ear and from the right side of the back of my neck cutting across the middle. The cuts are very prominent and are not going to look good for the first day of school.

Worst experience at a barbershop in my life. Im not sure if I got the one bad barber or if this is just a horrible barbershop. I walked out with bald patches all over my head that was intended to be a fade. The shop looked nice as it had a good atmosphere but if your looking for a good hear cut I advise you please do not get your haircut here.

Everytime I ask just to fade the sides they end up giving me a comb over... I literally just wanted faded sides i wasn’t tryna to look like a soccer player... I had to wear a hat half the school year due to y’all giving me haircuts I ain’t ask for... y’all can’t listen for anything... I want faded sides that it... didn’t ask for a comb over bruh... never ever ever going back there

Came in as a walk in and Asked for a taper fade and only got it on one side of my head and the other side is a straight 1 not only is my taper messed up but also the top of my hair is too, one side is longer than the other... my last 2 visits were on point as to this one not so much

This place is AMAZING!!! This is from my own experience, I’ve had my haircut by Hassan for 2 years now. It’s always been perfect. Also had AJ cut my hair when Hassan is booked. Also, perfect. Came in as a walk in twice, not sure who the guy was that cut my hair, but again....perfect. My suggestion, book in advance and try to keep the same barber. If you can’t and must try a new guy, maybe call and see if that guy can cut the style you want. I have never had an issue here. I drive an hour for my haircut, and do it every other Saturday!! Love these guys, love this place!!!!! I 100%, recommend these guys!!

I took both my boys to this barber shop and the barber AJ was mad because I wouldn’t go on a date with him so he told me it’s best I go to another shop. The owner just lost two clients due to his employees unprofessionalism. Plus who is he to tell me to go to another shop? But I don’t want to see him anyway so yeah I will go somewhere else. Somewhere professional.

I’m never going back to Kingdom. If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would. I had an appointment with Dang for 4pm and was stuck in traffic and let him know that I was going to be 10 minutes late. He is usually 5-7 minutes behind schedule and I patiently wait until it’s my turn so I thought for him to wait 5 minutes for once wasn’t a big deal. But once I got there he said he’s cleaning his station and leaving for the day. I apologized and even told him to take 10 minutes less on my hair but just clean it up; it doesn’t have to be perfect. But he showed me his watch and said it’s “you told me 10 minutes but it’s 4:13, I’m done being nice for my clients.” Afterwards, he demanded $50 for a haircut and once I told him I only have $40 cash on me, I’d happily Venmo him the rest since I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow and badly need a haircut, he said “no I don’t have Venmo, so go get cash-back across the street from 7-11.” After being a client for 2+ years and always paying $5-7 tip, I’ll happily go find another barbershop. Again, nothing to the rest of the barbers, but for a guy like Dang to tell me he’s going home and not cutting my hair after I was late for the first time in 2 years, I’d rather go to another shop (Joel Perez down the street).

Honestly will never go back! You have to be with an experienced barber like Christian to know how to cut a 10yr old hair into a simply mohawk with freestlye on the side. Second time i have set my grandson an appointment and been turned away do to idiots not understanding what a haircut is. I will continue to go to chop it up due to this guys treating me as though we havent been faithful clients since 2012. So done so over it.

After having my hairline screwed by barbers from Nigeria and jamaica this was my last resort.I was roasted at school for my hairline and told it was nowhere to be found. After all these years i finally found Kingdom barbershop.This team of ELITE SKILLED barbers had accurate presicion never seen in this world.They have helped my hairline recover and my emotions.

Took my son here and he was very pleased and hes super picky. was a long wait but next time he knows to make an apointment. Everyone walking out had nice cuts.

Very enjoyable experience! All the barbers are welcoming. I always go to Christian but everyone in there does a phenomenal job. Real serious about their craft and do not mess around. Seating is limited but there are enough barbers to accomidate the customers so the wait is not long and they do not show any favortism. I have been to many shops from Seattle to Tacoma and none has welcomed me as much as The Kingdom Barber Shop. Just give it this shop one try and I believe they will not dissapoint.

Whats the point of appointments if Im going to wait an hour. Had an appointment for 2pm and he didnt get in the chair till 3. Everyones on there phones and Im just waiting. When I complained they basically told me I should have complained earlier. Never taking my kid there again.
