Our cabinets are beautiful. Arrived in timely fashion but had a few measurement issues and re-orders. Regardless, they are beautiful and everyone worked so hard to please us. My only suggestion is to take more time with the designer prior to placing the order and look over the measurements before making that final plunge. All involved, particularly the contractors were very kind and very knowledgeable. I guess it’s a good thing if it takes a little longer then you would like because they are detailed in their work with each customer.

Beautiful cabinets, and they came on time - but nevertheless, a deeply frustrating experience, and not worth the hassle. Our salesperson in Lakewood, made a number of mistakes, but would own up to none of them. The measurements she took of our kitchen were wildly inaccurate, both length and width. One measurement was partially understandable because 4” was later added to the wall to hide a pillar. However, her measurement was still 8” short of where it was supposed to be. We had to order an additional $1400 cabinet just to make up those few inches. On the other dimension, she was off by more than 3”, causing the contractor to have to make additional modifications along that wall.Two cabinets were specified where the doors opened back-to-back, but no front spacer was provided, so the installer had to add one and match the paint color. We ordered a set of pantry cabinets that did not come with kick panels, so the installer had to fabricate them. We had requested - in writing - a change order to make the upper corner cabinets 90 degrees rather than with a 45 degree angle. And finally, we requested actual finished panels on our island rather than painted skins.Her response to each of my concerns? No measurement mistakes were made. The installer was incompetent. The parts were all there... and no change order was ever signed. I don’t know if she was lying, incompetent, forgetful or a combination of all those things. All I know is that I will never, ever do business with this place again. And I would advise others to go elsewhere. It’s all about the sale, and once they have your money, you’re old news to them. Buyer beware.

I purchased $50K+ of cabinets from Huntwood directly. I verified color and was told by their in-house salesperson and on their paperwork that the cabinets would be painted Hardwood. When I recieved the shipment, the cabinets were MDF, the box material was not the 3/4 ply like they state on their website, the drawer material was plywood, I paid for solid. The cabinets were painted the wrong color and they were not only missing toekicks, but came damaged. The boxes were not even built square. When they sent out their paint/service crew to paint onsite they hung the cabinets, and damaged the inside faces of the drawers and then they installed damaged and left. I had to glue the broken face frames and then send them to my painter to fix. They said they would credit me $1500.00 for all the mess of fixing everything, but have ghosted me. Im a contractor, imagine if you were the homeowner and didnt have the resources to fix these problems which they absolutely did not care to handle! DONT BUY HUNTWOOD!

Overall I am happy with the cabinets. What I think this company lacks is customer service. Jesse in the Kent location was great! Always timely in his responses to me. However, the gentleman in charge of overseeing installs could use a lesson. Over promised and completely under delivered. He tells you what you want to hear and never follows up. I do think Huntwood is a good company with good people and I realize its job by job but my kitchen took way too long with way too many return trips.

Working with the Huntwood team was a complete delight. Jill was very professional and patient with all my changes and had her own ideas that helped. She was almost always available to help in any way she could. Brian and the installers were amazing. They did a great job and I couldnt be happier. They are beautiful!
